Reviews
The Sheraton Grand Seattle receives mixed reviews, with guests praising its central location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, there are consistent complaints about the high cost, lack of amenities such as free Wi-Fi and breakfast, and issues with room cleanliness and maintenance.

- 5/5
Great location and able to walk to many sites or take a quick uber To get to the pool in pike tower from union tower you have to walk through the lobby
- 3/5
The room was clean, but you could tell the bathroom floors weren't cleaned properly. We had to order extra towels and toilet paper because when we arrived, there were only three towels and half a roll. Pillows and blankets were terrible; if you're a woman, bring your own. The food is way overpriced, which I understand since we are in Seattle.
- 5/5
Wonderful trip great location. The only complaint we would have is the parking was very very expensive so we parked offsite.
- 4/5
Room is very clean. Staff is helpful
- 5/5
The staff and atmosphere of the hotel.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
At the room price charged, the combination of location, facilities, amenities, service, and quality of the room offers outstanding value. no particular complaints.
- 5/5
Allowed us a late check in and a late check out to accommodate our travel plans
- 4/5
Starbucks on site was really good point! Although the rooms are dated to a point but to very good standard nonetheless
- 5/5
The bell desk crew was amazing!
- 5/5
Very clean. Great location. Nothing

- 5/5
Great location and near all the big tourist attractions, clean, safe, quiet, nice staff, lots of included amenities in the destination fee, fast and delicious room service menu. It's pricey but with it. I would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Clean rooms, great staff, and good location.
- 5/5
Liked the central location in the city. The desk staff were helpful. Overall a good experience. The pool. Very recently chlorine shocked, too cool for the season. Seems like a poor design with no visible recirculation system for the water. And it would be nice to have frosted glass between it and the fitness center.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 3/5
Hotel stay was great and location was good too. We had a good experience with housekeeping staff discovering a missing item and having it returned to us. However, we had such a poor experience of room service. Having arrived late at night, we requested for a kettle for cup noodles and additional towels, and 2 hours later they still hadn't arrived despite multiple reminders. We ended up sharing towels and going to bed hungry.
- 5/5
Check in was fast which was a plus since the line to check in was long. room service was great especially after a full day of exploring and swimming. The pool was great, wish there was a hot tub. The Starbucks and restaurants down in the lobby were great. Loved the $20/ night food Credit, would have been nice to use it the day we checked out. Staff was polite and helpful. Location was unbeatable!

Central location. Constant noise (thumping and dragging sounds) with no warning.
- 4.5/5
Fantastic room, comfy bed and a great location. A little bit on the expensive side.
- 4/5
Professional, attentive, and courteous staff. Good onsite restaurants. Cleaning staff missed removing old food from the room fridge from previous guest. Otherwise, everything else was good and I would not hesitate to stay again.
- 3/5
Nothing felt special enough to support the price.
- 4/5
Nice hotel, good sized room, comfortable bed and good location for exploring Seattle. Close to Metro/train and tourist sites. Overpriced.
- 5/5
Loved it!!
- 3/5
The location was near the convention center which was nice. The view from my room was pretty. The water from the bathroom sink took a long time to get hot. The shower felt like there was still cleaner on the bottom of it. The bed didn't have a fitted sheet and the sheet on it seemed too small. It didn't tuck under the top of the bed and easily moved which was uncomfortable and felt unclean.
- 4.5/5
Great location
- 3/5
No laundry service even though the laundry was collected by housekeeping in good time. Very disappointing!

Great hotel! Great staff.
- 3/5
It was stated on the website they have an airport shuttle and they don’t have one. The website needs to be changed. I would not recommend this hotel
- 5/5
Very good customer service
- 4/5
Great location. Walking distance to tourist spots and port. Sheraton is Sheraton don’t get me wrong. Everything is expanse, but we did good for clean room because it didn’t feel like 5 star or I may be getting old and picky. Great place to stay all together.
- 5/5
Room looked new and well maintained. Staff very friendly and bar service was great. Water pressure in shower kinda low however
- 5/5
Starbucks in lobby Food credit with destination fee helps
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great stay in Seattle! Very walkable area.
- 5/5
Great view of the city
- 5/5
The Sheraton Grand Seattle was the perfect place to stay while in Seattle. It's close to Nordstrom's and just a short walk from the Pike Place Market and waterfront activities. Having the Starbucks coffee bar in the lobby was perfect. Thank you for a lovely time!

- 5/5
The room was clean and nice. The staff always extremely helpful. The hotel doesn’t include breakfast. They have several great dining options available. The hotel is convenient to all downtown seattle has to offer. The pool is great and so much fun. This is one of our favorite hotels.
- 2/5
I paid for everything upfront through Expedia, minus a quoted $64 tax charge that was to be paid at the property. Upon check out, we were charged almost $400 for taxes and parking. They charged an undisclosed $72 per vehicle per day, and overcharged the “destination tax” that was quoted by Expedia (which is ridiculous cause I live locally). When I tried to call to discuss the charges, their phone extension sends you to a voicemail stating that they won’t talk to you on the phone and you have to send them an email. I emailed them as requested, it’s been a week with no response. Very disappointed.
- 4/5
Great room service food though!
- 5/5
Great location the bar waitress was amazing
- 4/5
Overall excellent stay. Could have used more help in the bar. The wait was longer than normal. We ended up leaving.
- 5/5
Clean room and staff was great

I booked a room with Expedia at Sheraton Grand Seattle for 4 nights, paid in full, but had checked in one day late due to my flight being cancelled by the airline. They ended up marking my room as a “no show” even though I messaged the property letting them know my flight was delayed and I will be checking in later. Upon arrival they made me book another room as a “walk-in” guest. I ended up having to pay for the new reservation, so I was charged twice for one room. They would not honor the room I booked with Expedia even though I had paid in full. I emailed billing and escalated to Marriott, but they refuse to give me a refund. Why are they being so greedy and not willing to assist? I clearly paid for the room in advance and only checked in 1 day late due to the airline canceling my flight. It was already a stressful situation and instead of helping, they refused to honor my reservation and I had to pay for a separate room for 3 nights. I will never be staying at Sheraton or Marriott properties in the future!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Rooms are very clean and roomy. Located close to all the attractions. Catching the monorail to see Space Needle was nearby. Train to airport was close as well… saved lots of money on Uber!

Yes
- 5/5
Love this hotel and the staff!
- 5/5
There was a microwave in the room.
- 5/5
Very spacious room for 2 people and have a really nice view of the convention center. Staff was very helpful and nice, I had to store my luggage at the hotel after checking out and had to go to the 2nd floor to place them, it was very convenient and easy to navigate. Loved my stay here
- 3/5
Don't like you only get points for Marriot if you book through their website which is more expensive than expedia etc. Food and drinks at hotel was excellent! Staff were friendly!
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff was adequate. Beware these are actually full/double size beds. Two adults don’t really fit. Be careful which room you book.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 4/5
Everything but the $82 parking fee was great. Glad we only had to park for one night!
- 5/5
Nice stay

Friendly staff and was able to check in a little earlier. So with kids that was a plus.
- 5/5
Housekeeping came in even when we asked for none.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, the nicest concierge i have ever met, good variety for food and drinks on the property.
- 4/5
Work trip, so it was just a landing pad each night. Still, it was quiet, close to work, and really easy to navigate.
- 5/5
Close to the convention center which was convenient. The room were nice
- 5/5
The total experience was amazing from the first step into the door until the last foot out. No complaints

- 4/5
Room was spotless. But hot water was problematic in the morning.
- 5/5
convenient location
- 4/5
Great location, beautiful lobby, kind staff, bathroom requires better deep cleaning, only one of two towers has a swimming pool/fitness, expensive valet- no charging station for electric cars.
- 5/5
Great costumer service
- 3/5
Ok
- 5/5
Very accommodating!
- 5/5
Clean rooms, helpful accommodating staff.
- 5/5
No jacuzzi and the beds did not have fitted seats on the mattress
- 5/5
Josiah at the front desk was an absolute GEM he made our check in and stay so enjoyable. Definitely value him as an employee because he made us want to book there every year!
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful even with it being a very busy weekend. Clean, safe and convenient location.
- 4/5
The location is amazing and lots of food and drink spots.
- 5/5
Clean room!
- 5/5
Room was clean and smelled fresh. Close to many popular destinations. And easy access to get in I-5 to go back home. Starbucks in the lobby was great too!
- 5/5
Clean cozy room. The staff was very pleasant.
- 5/5
Dry clean room and entire hotel. All staff was very courteous and helpful.Close to Paramount theater.
- 5/5
Room was great. Staff was friendly. The area around the pool was, however, slippery
- 5/5
The staff was curtious even on arrival and i had a warm welcome
- 5/5
Nice hotel, close to shopping and restaurants. Pike place super close. Love the lobby, Starbucks and lounge on site. Had great girls weekend with my daughter. Rooms clean and quiet. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Beyond expectation! Spectacular location & view.
- 5/5
Everything was great no issues or complications what so ever.
- 5/5
Allowed a late checkout to accommodate our travel plans.
- 5/5
Wonderful property!
- 5/5
It was disappointing that there wasn’t breakfast offered. We thought there will be breakfast available
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
I was looking forward to bringing my mom to this hotel and we did have a great time. However, the room was not as clean, the reading land on the bed I was sleeping had a nap king below holding it because it didn’t work. The blindsides covering the window to sleep at night had pets of it that were ripped and we couldn’t sleep at night because light was coming in from the holes it had in parts of it. Parts of it was dusty and the sheets had small holes.
- 5/5
Great hotel facilities and outstanding customer service!

A truly superb hotel in an excellent location staffed by incredibly well trained staff no matter their duties
- 5/5
Everyone was very efficient. The room was very comfortable, room service was very expensive, though.
- 3/5
Everything was good, except for the extra 28 dollar fee they tacked on per day. No prior notification.
- 5/5
room spotless friendly staff
- 4/5
Clean room, attentive staff. Need amenities in room.
- 5/5
Every thing was excellent. We didn’t try breakfast so can’t give fair review.
- 5/5

Very expensive Valet parking. Beds are comfy, but only twins. Pretty tight when you need to share a bed.

- 5/5
Perfect location, clean, attentive staff!
- 5/5
Clean room and diligent staff who replaced the malfunctioning window blind
- 2/5
Except for the attractive lobby, the rest was very average.
- 5/5
The staff was very kind and courteous. The lobby was very welcoming.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
Parking was super easy. The staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
Perfect!
- 3/5
The property is in a pretty good location. We ‘upgraded’ our room for 15USD/night as the one we booked wasn’t ready upon checking in. There were only 2 towels and 1 complimentary water bottle stocked in the room. To have any wifi, there was a 25USD charge for our stay. I also found the carpets in the hallway were pretty dirty. For a higher end property, I wasn’t very impressed.
- 5/5
Loved that the hotel was close to the port
- 5/5
Mile from the docks.
- 5/5
Came here for a convention; I loved that it was next door, very convenient, loved the lounge area, food and staff were great. Will book again in the future!
- 5/5
Awesome staff, room, and service!
- 5/5
This property was quiet and the staff was super helpful.
- 5/5
Great friendly staff right from the start with the valet. Very helpful for suggestions.
- 4/5
It was fine. Disappointed in seeing mold in the grout lines of the shower! That should never be there.
- 1/5
I will never stay at this hotel again! Horrible to no customer service
- 5/5
Close to Climate Pledge Arena
- 4/5
Didnt like the shower setup. But small potatoes.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel with friendly front deck staffs
- 2/5
Very sad to see this on a high star chain hotel like this.
- 4/5
I had an airport issue and the staff was helpful in keeping up with my issue.
- 5/5
Thanks
- 5/5
Everything
- 5/5
Excellent location within walking distance of the convention center and Pike Place market. Bus route nearby as well. The staff were quick, friendly, and helpful.
- 4/5
I didnt like being assigned to a handicapped room hate those showers but first world problem right?
- 5/5
This hotel is great and super convenient! Friendly staff and clean rooms, which is really what you want on vacation!!
- 5/5
Right in downtown, so there’s tons of food and shopping. Walkable to Pike’s and the Aquarium. Check in was easy and our room was ready super early which was nice. Room service food was AMAZING.
- 5/5
close to all sporting venues
- 4/5
It started off the being booked into the wrong room but they were nice to change it for me. It was frustrating to not have the soaps filled in bathroom shower. But overall the stay was nice.
- 3/5
The bed was so hard. Worse back pain. Everything else was great. Hilda in the bar was excellent.
- 4/5

- 5/5
Hotel was very professional and clean , quiet. Love my stay , beautiful pool and Gym also
- 3/5
But the service is very poor. Checking in and out is very fast, but if you need anything fixed ( like the safety deposit box) or an extra towel forget it. No one even picks up the phone. And when they finally do they don’t deliver. Had to look for the towel myself.
- 3/5
It every was alright I just didn’t like how the held so much money for both of my rooms that was just a big chunk held
- 3/5
Small beds
- 4/5
Was a nice stay!
- 5/5
Clean nice property in a great location!
- 5/5
Great stay with my grandson and his friend. They loved the pool. Not too far from T-Mobile park for the Zmariners game.
- 5/5
Valet parking was way to pricey $78 a day and across street $40.
- 5/5
Great location and very nice hotel.
- 5/5
Went to a concert at the Moore theatre which is walking distance. The next day we walked down to Pike Street Market and the waterfront. Lots of Parking lots close by at $35-$40 for 24 hrs. That's a great deal in Seattle. $20 credit to the Starbucks in the lobby was a nice little bonus. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Very clean, friendly staff and a great location. Parking is available underground across the street for much cheaper than the hotel offers
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Pool a bonus. Staff very good
- 5/5
Clean room, very quiet for a downtown setting. Tons to do within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 4/5
Club Breakfast needs improvement. Not kid friendly options. No pancakes or waffles.
- 4/5
Room seemed like it needed a makeover, very limited food options on site and quality of food was not as good as needed for this type of hotel
- 4/5
The hotel, room and bar were great! I didn’t like being assessed a $30 fee without a clear reason to explain why.
- 3/5
Tired and not very clean with stains on the bedding, terrible breakfast
- 2/5
room was clean but extremely basic motel feeling for the price. I booked a king bed and received 2 queens which was not at all what we wanted. Staff was not helpful, tired, overworked and somewhat rude. I will not return. Seattle is nice, location is great but not an overall good experience.
- 3/5
We booked the hotel for location and so we could get 2 queen beds for 3 adults. The location was great but the beds were only fulls which was difficult for two adults to sleep in. We asked for a cot to be brought to our room, and they said they could not do that because it would be a fire hazard. So one of our adults had to sleep on the hard chase lounge. The website was kind of deceiving and no hotel should have full size beds.
- 5/5
Stayed here multiple times before. It is insanely awesome and only gets better. A little crazy on Seahawk weekends but that’s half the fun. Easy stroll to the Fish Market and Waterfront. Next time to Seattle I shall stay here again guaranteed. Have fun!!
- 5/5
Great location, very walkable and close to the light rail. Clean, nice to have Starbucks in the lobby.
- 5/5
Great staff with great CS skills! The entire property is great -looking as well! Starbucks by the lobby was amazing! Definitely coming back!
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Hotel was good but something smelt fusty in the room only notice when we first got into the room the couple times we returned. Something wrong with the AC or something is my guess
- 5/5
Stay here often, and it’s always great. No difference this time.
- 3/5
beds were ok could have been more comfortable
- 5/5
Wonderful stay after a full day of flying!
- 5/5
From the staff to cleanliness to member perks, everything was top-notch.
- 5/5
Beautiful and clean hotel, fast and nice checking/out, walkable distance to many attractions, just few minutes to cruise port.
- 5/5
Check in was great. We were able to get into our room early after coming off a cruise. Staff friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Friendly staff at check and clean room.
- 5/5
Amazing views and location.
- 5/5
Never had a bad stay here.
- 5/5
Easy check in and out process. Room service was quick and tasty. Vivian’s bistro was very tasty.
- 5/5
Remarkable stay!
- 5/5
Great hotel!
- 5/5
Close to everything!
- 4/5
Hotel is in a great location, only a couple blocks from Pike Place market and Starbucks Roastery. Property is nice in general, but definitely old, needs some renovating...still has old shower/tub combo with shower mat and shower curtains.
- 5/5
good
- 3/5
Stay was fine. Hidden charges sucked. The cost was higher than advertised. I’m inclined not to go to Sheraton
- 4/5
The location is excellent for travellers who are not driving.
- 5/5
nice
- 4/5
Even though I requested service, my room was left half-done: the blankets were moved but the bed was not made, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned, and nothing was refreshed. I waited and asked again at reception, and while they promised someone would come “immediately,” hours later the only follow-up was dropping off a couple of towels and blankets. The room itself was never properly serviced. Reception offered an apology, but without any real explanation or resolution. This was frustrating and far below the standard I expected from such an otherwise excellent hotel. If management improves its housekeeping and communication, this could easily be a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, because of this, my stay was overshadowed by basic service not being met.
- 5/5
The location is perfect for visiting Pike Place Markets, Starbucks Roastery, and T-Mobile Park.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Easy to walk to see the sights of Seattle.
- 5/5
Friendly staff that accommodated all of our requests. I would definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
Nice location that’s walking distances to attractions
- 4/5
Prices for WiFi were absurd. Check in staff were cold and borderline rude and left more to be desired in the interaction.
- 4/5
Upmarket establishment maybe fading a little; Excellent welcoming helpful staff; great location for exploring Seattle
- 4/5
The staff was good. When we checked in, we were greeted not by a smiling person. While she was nice and cordial, it would have made us feel a bit more welcome by a smiling face. Otherwise everything else was good. Cleaned and other staff were overall friendly. The most friendly persons were the Starbucks employees. They all seemed happy to be there in the morning and served us. Friendly cordial and helpful. There was this young lady (unfortunately I don’t remember her name) that was super helpful and had an amazing smile on her face. Really kicked off our days.
- 5/5
Only spent one night but the room and bathroom were beautiful and clean. Lobby was gorgeous. Breakfast was also really great.
- 5/5
Would stay here again. Modern clean hotel with great location. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable. Staff are all friendly and helpful. There is a Starbucks too on the first floor near the lobby sitting area. Tourist spots are a walkable distance and near many places to eat. Perfect hotel for a stay before you get on a cruise. Hotel even helped arrange a pick up and drop off for our family if 7 to the port.
- 5/5
We stayed at Sheraton the night before our cruise, and because we landed early, I paid for early check-in. The hotel was a short distance from the Westlake Link station, so it was a quick walk with all our luggage. Check-in was extremely fast & worth the $40 to be able to get in 4 hours early. We were there a total of 24 hours (4 of us in 2 queen beds), and we had no issues. The room was spacious & clean, as was the remainder of the hotel. We liked the water station in the lobby and the locked bathroom. The hotel gave us a voucher, and we wanted to use it at Starbucks in the lobby but the line was always very long. We had tickets to a baseball game, so the restaurant/bar was not open yet for us to use the voucher there. It went unused, but it was a nice bonus. The valet crew are efficient and nice. We had Uber get us the next morning, and Valet was moving everyone along speedily and loaded all our luggage for us. If I were to go back to Seattle, I would choose this hotel.
- 4/5
Water prices outrageous.
- 5/5
Extremely comfortable rooms, blackout curtains, never heard of sound from outdoors or other rooms while in the rooms and during sleeping hours. Staff was courteous, kind, genuine, and thoughtful. The photos of the rooms and decor, don’t do this hotel justice. The lobby is upscale, large and very comfortable. The hotel bar is extremely busy. Too busy during peak hours. The entire hotel staff that we encountered was terrific. Very kind and polite and courteous.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel! Great lobby! Very convenient!
- 3/5
Great location, very convenient, close to Pike Place Market and all the major tourist sites, with easy access for getting around the city. The beds were excellent. However, our room was not cleaned one day despite requesting daily housekeeping, and we were provided only two plastic cups even though we are a family of three. The A/C was also quite loud. Overall, we feel they could improve the experience, especially considering the price.
- 4/5
I do not like the added “resort fee” at check out. I paid for 2 nights and was then charged extra at check out for a resort fee. What extra was I provided in this fee. Cleaners had not cleaned my room by 4 pm after I had been out all day.
- 4/5
Daily uber voucher and credit for certain hotel amenities was a great hit.
- 5/5
Was great had a crib for the baby
- 5/5
Perfect to take in a Mariners game!!!
- 5/5
Always a great experience with Bonvoy! Thank you
- 5/5
Great hotel!!
- 4/5
Good overall but service slow at front counter and no refills in my shower!
- 5/5
Downtown right next to the convention center. The room was very spatios and the bed and linens luxurious. Easy walk to shopping, restaurants, symphony, Pike Place Market, the wharfs, lightrail and buses.
- 4/5
Location was perfect. 15 minute walk to Pike Place Market. Monorail was really close so it was easy to get to the Space Needle. Very walkable area. Would recommend if you’re looking to see the sights of Seattle!
- 5/5
Good hotel in a decent location , walkable to downtown activities and/or easy short ride to Stanley Park
- 5/5
Everything was amazing
- 3/5
The valet charge was $78, compared to $17 self-parking across the street. Another rip off. And even wifi in the room had a charge, unless you made sure the charge was removed, if you read the fine print!
- 5/5
Accommodations were very comfortable
- 5/5
Very clean, modern hotel. Club lounge access well worth the extra money!
- 4/5
The perfect location!
- 4/5
Always a great place to stay when visiting the downtown Seattle area.
- 5/5
Great stay. The hotel is very conveniently located. It is a short walk to Pike Place and the monorail. It also has a starbucks inside the hotel but more importantly a restuarant that is open until 12am. Although it is downtown, it felt safe. The in room service food was delicious! Comfortable bed, clean room, and easy check in and check out. I would stay again!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, comfortable clean and conveniently located to pikes market
- 5/5
Great staff and property.
