The phone in the room doesn't work either I think their air con unit needs updating Apart from that, the room is spacious

better than I thought. it is on a busy road. have refrigerator and microwave. clean and safe. nothing

- 5/5
It’s and older style motel that is clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were great. Parking was good as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable and affordable. Only a couple miles from the space needle and art museum. I will stay there again when I go up to Seattle and definitely recommend this place to others.
- 5/5
Great clean motel, very convenient location. It could be a bit loud as it is located near the busy street, but we were not bothered by it with the right ear plugs. Would stay there again.
- 5/5
Nice and cozy!

Great bargain, clean room, kind staff 👍👍

Disappointing
- 3.5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Had to leave windows open most of the stay the smell in the room was not pleasant.
- 4/5
The staff was super friendly and the room was quite big. There was plenty of parking. It is a bit dated and could use some things like new curtains and furniture. Also it's pretty far from the city, but we knew that when we booked it.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, spacious, and the internet was good. The room has a coffee machine and that was awesome!
- 4/5
Very good
- 3.5/5
Easily accessible and close to main Seattle attractions. Room temp was difficult to regulate. Difficult to contact staff for extra towels and checkout.

- 5/5
Clean, fabulous location and staff are lovely and very helpful would definitely go back Nothing
- 4/5
Great stay! Would stay here again 🙂 a few hairs missed in the bathroom, but other than that that the place was clean
- 5/5
They were very helpful answering questions and they were able to accommodate me with a first floor room because I walk with a cane.
- 5/5
We always stay here when the price it right and the staff is good. No comments to have about not Liking it.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 5/5
Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I did not need a car as the hotel was located on a rapid bus service line. An East-West bus is also available. The noise from the hyway did not bother me. Food available several blocks away. Some bathroom fixtures need attention but overall this hotel is good value. I would stay again.
- 3/5
Great location to the city It was kinda dirty sheets with stains but other than that pretty decent
- 4/5
The hotel is old, but well maintained. Our room was updated with new furnishings and we had a decent amount of blankets. The bed was comfy and there was lots of parking. The check in staff was friendly and informative. My only complaint and it's not even a big deal was there were only 2 pillows on the bed. My partner and I like to sleep with a head pillow and leg pillow. It was late when we arrived, and we didn't want to bother the staff so we made due for the night.
- 5/5
The staff here are always amazing and super friendly. The motel is older but is clean and comfortable. Location is great if you want to be out of the city but still close. There are some walkable bars/restaurants as well
- 5/5
You can walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and a grocery store called Marketime Foods in the neighborhood.
- 3.5/5
Room was quiet, they had a refridgerator and freezer in the room, water was hot, they had a coffee maker in the room, easy access to Freemont, Lime bikes, and downtown. They had nothing on the TV, no cable, Roku, or anything. The digital local area channels wouldn't even come through, so there was basically no TV to watch.
- 5/5
It's a small property, but big on warmth. I only stayed one night, but I enjoyed it.
- 4/5
Nice hotel in convenient location
- 3/5
I called and requested a downstairs bedroom due to being handicap and cannot go up a flight of stairs. My room was given away however luckily they had one downstairs bedroom left. If I did not have to get surgery in the morning I would have left. However it was 11pm I had to be up at 4:30am and I was tired. The worker was however very nice.
- 5/5
The staff goes way out of their way to accomodate you and make sure you have a great stay. We were pretty needy at one point and they were amazing with helping us. There is a gentleman working the desk who was the absolute best and I wish I had his name, but he is from California and was better to us then most places have ever been. If you get a chance to stay here, it's cute and has amazing staff!
- 5/5
Convenient, nice manager, helpful, fun place.
- 4/5
Really good location and just a short walk to catch the bus to down town.
- 4/5
Ryan at the front desk was nice and helpful.
- 4/5
Very basic, but we had a room with couch and two chairs which is important to us. The bed was great and staff was very helpful. Bathroom was very small, but clean. We would go back,
- 5/5
We have already booked our next room for the next time we’re back in Seattle. It’s old but clean. We only stayed one night but it was quiet and the front desk person who checked us in was great.
- 4/5
Check-in was fast and my room was clean and comfortable. I had a good night's sleep even though the hotel is on a busy highway. The hotel is only accessible while driving north on the highway so it's a bit tricky if you are arriving southwards from the north. Dining choices are few with the closest restaurants being a 7-10 min walk away -- if you don't want to drive. That said, the price of my room was great and I'd probably repeat if I have business in the area.
- 3/5
But the cleanliness was poor. Would be cool place if it were crisp and clean. Would not stay here again.
- 4/5
Everything was awesome
- 4/5
Nice location and clean rooms. There's a bit of road noise.
- 3/5
The bathroom was not clean, and the toilet was unstable. The room had a strong persistent odor of stale smoke, despite our reservation for a non-smoking accommodation. Furthermore, the noise from the nearby road was quite disruptive, and the surrounding area did not feel secure.
- 4/5
Very nice hotel. Owner very friendly. Clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Thank you for the nice stay
- 5/5
Hot showers, firm beds, cable was pretty spotty but overall solid place to crash
- 5/5
The place itself was nice, however the median on Aurora made travelling to the motel a bit of a hassle when coming from anywhere north of it. The room was spacious, and a good place to rest at the end of the day.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly. Easy check-in. Good location. It's an older property but lots of charm. Free parking. They monitor cameras on the property, so it felt secure. We stayed along our roadtrip & they were the only location that thought ahead to offer us extra towels at check-in (we had 3 travelers) because 2 towels is not enough & is what every other location provided. Would stay there again. Ice machine was not working.
- 5/5
Just what i needed
- 5/5
Yes. Just having parking was a plus but it was great.
- 5/5
Very simply check in and check out, key was easy to use, found my room just fine and had the best view of the motel ! would recommend considering reasonable pricing and decent cleanliness
- 5/5
It is just pretty good. It is not fancy, but it is very satisfied. I will stay in motel marco polo in my next visit. It has everything functional.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay, I would stay again.
- 3/5
Small bathroom
- 5/5
If you don't need fancy, this place is good for a quick stay. It looks a little sketchy on the outside, but the inside was clean, the AC worked, and the beds were comfy! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The linens were clean and nice quality. There's no breakfast and the coffee pot and mini fridge are very basic, but it's close enough to coffee and food that it was no big deal. I've stayed in name brand chains that weren't nearly as comfortable for twice as much. Highly recommended for a modest home base while you explore the area.
- 4/5
A very basic, older motel, affordable, clean, pleasant staff, free parking, easily accessible from Aurora. If you want luxury, this is not the place for you, but if you want a comfortable, affordable stay close to Woodland Park Zoo and Seattle Pacific University, this is a good choice.
- 5/5
Staff was super supportive and friendly.
- 4/5
Centrally located, it is clean but could definitely use some updates but for the price and not having to pay for parking its a very good value.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Good size for a single queen, with a couch, table, and chairs that many venues are doing away with these days. Larger fridge and microwave than at most motels. Can't beat it at the price.
- 5/5
The Marco Polo is an old school motel and legend has it that Kurt Cobain from Nirvana enjoyed staying here. The staff were very friendly and my room was very clean. Easy access to downtown and Freemont. There is an express bus just a few blocks away.
- 5/5
The hotel was so clean and comfortable and Daniel (?) was so kind and organized. I will start staying here more often when I commute for work.
- 3/5
The fridge didn't work neither. The room was cold, and it took a while to heat up after you crank up the thermostat. You can also hear vehicle noise on the road, although it wasn't loud enough to bother me. The Wifi did work well. The benefit of this place is the location and price! You can walk to the Fremont neighborhood, Fremont Troll, the Zoo, within 10 -15 minutes. This is probably the cheapest motel in Seattle that includes parking. If you don't need any amenities, this is a good place to stay.
- 5/5
Hotel rooms are spacious with so many amenities. Fridge. Microwave. A stand up shower. A small comfy couch. And 2 desks. Not to mention an incredibly comfortable bed after a long day of driving. Hotel and its staff were incredible.
- 5/5
I stayed at the Marco Polo Motel for about 2 weeks. It was a great stay here! It is very close distance to Downtown Seattle, as well as other Suburban Seattle Places. The Seattle Orca Public Transportation System makes it easy for travel without a car. The room was clean. The room has a good amount of space with a TV, a good bathroom, and WiFi. I would recommend this Motel to anyone that is looking to visit Seattle, WA.
- 3/5
Staff is ok. Old room, not clean. Noisy
- 5/5
Great spot, next to major road Aurora Ave, but noise was not too bad, we slept great! Obviously renovated recently and nicely. Not a chain place, homey. All amenities micro, fridge, TV, hot water, coffee maker all budget, but more than adequate, polite service. super easy access to Fremont, city and access to freeways. Top notch for price, will definitely return.
- 3/5
heater did not work well, there is a good draft that goes around the door letting in cold air. but the price was good and just needed a place to stay and crash so for that was not bad
- 4/5
The refrigerator door does not close completely. The bathroom door also does not close properly. Additionally, there is an unusual odor in the unit. The couch also has some animal hair on it. Other than these issues, the room was good.
- 5/5
Great stay, minor issues.
- 4/5
Old motel, courteous staff, parking included.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Great motel and staff wonderfully helpfull. The room was very comfortable and location perfect for our needs. Local transport to most areas of the city.
- 5/5
Great for the price. Comfortable, clean and conveniently located.
- 4/5
The courteous employees, the clean room, for an emergency of just resting gets you out of trouble and especially free parking.
- 5/5
The staff had a suite available and upgraded me to rnfree
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Nice room. Had a great time.
- 1/5
The room its self was clean and the place was quiet. No issues other than you may not get your deposit back.
- 3/5
It did not clean our rooms every day. When I ask to change the towels , the manager himself take the new towels to my room. It seems that it only clean the room when you ask, not as default.

- 4/5
The room was very nice. The room was quite spacious, internet was excellent and very handy to have a microwave oven. Good access to shopping areas, about 400 to 500 metres. The front office staff were outstanding, they were very helpful in organising taxi transfers to the cruise terminal.
- 4/5
Very nice staff.
- 4/5
The motel was conveniently located to T mobile stadium. It was reasonably clean & comfortable.
- 5/5
I walked to the right of Aurora because I was starving. I saw lights, hoping that there would be good. These lights were lighted but stops. However, further on the walk is a Mexican Restaurant the other direction. Crossing safely, I notified others eating. Carnitas Plate with a bottle of Mexican Coke; must be Heaven. I'll enjoy dinner here again, as it's Great and filling.
- 5/5
Food is far
- 5/5
Accessibility to restaurants and eateries is a little sketchy, but Marco Polo is very comfortable. Other than road noise, it's fairly quiet. The managers I met were wonderful. I had a good two nights rest. Just what the Dr. ordered.
- 5/5
Was nice but lacked amenities
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Older property but well maintained
- 4/5
Nice stay. Great staff K
- 5/5
Great stay!!! Will be back.
- 3/5
It’s a simple, no-frills motel that shows its age but is kept clean and maintained. Check-in was convenient—I just texted a photo of my driver’s license, received my room number and door code, and found a metal key waiting inside. I appreciated not having to interact with anyone.
- 5/5
Great place to stay if you’re on a budget. Close to everything and Fremont neighborhood is a cool neighborhood. Great restaurants and bars and all that you need close by. The owners of the hotel are always there and very nice to interact with.
- 3/5
Ok for the last minute deal. Good parking. Late check in by very friendly person.
- 5/5
Clean room, parking in site easy check in and out. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
The guy at the desk was very nice. Room clean, comfortable. Didn’t like the traffic
- 4/5
Sink was leaking water but it could have been a newer leak that hasnt been reported other then that the room was very clean and neat 👌
- 5/5
Exceeded my expectations. I would stay again.
- 4/5
Excellent staff. Close to downtown. Not enough dining options close by. Room adequate, comfortable bed. Good property on a budget. Parking lot a little tight. Clean room and bathroom.
- 5/5
Great for price of this area. Very quit, friendly staff, easy check in and check out.
- 5/5
Excellent room and service! Thanks Marco Polo staff!
- 4/5
Inexpensive adequate lodgings.
- 4/5
Great service
- 3/5
No one in the office to check us in. No hair dryer. Too much noise from street. Man outside on property screaming and yelling most the evening. Possibly a homeless person.
- 3/5
Cheap and clean...noisy
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
I have stayed here every year. They have improved the quality of security.
- 4/5
Good
- 2/5
When I arrived I text the number and they asked for a copy if my drivers license to be texted to them. I was VERY uncomfortable with that and told them so. Whoever was texting me (I still dont know who it was) told me that I would have to provide ID at check in no matter what. I understand tHat, but its normally a human not some random # via text. I blurred out my ID and sent it. I was able to get into my room. Once I took my shoes off my feet were filthy. The pillows on the bed smelt stale, not like any sort of fabric wash. Thankfully, I had my own blanket to throw over the pillows to be able to lay down. I booked this hotel because my sister was having surgery at the UW, 12 mins away. I wasnt even comfortable to take a shower in room 102 as the shower was gross!!! Save your money!!
- 4/5
This is a very old-style property. Nice people, working to upgrade things, but it’s got a very retro feel. Noisy air conditioner, and the cable was iffy. Still, the bed was very comfortable, and the property felt safe.
- 2/5
No amenities. The hotel is in a sketchy area and there is no restaurants nearby. Front desk wasnt accommodating.
- 5/5
Great place and friendly staff!
- 5/5
One note on the shower: if you’re tall (probably anybody taller than 6’2”, but particularly bad for those above around 6’4”), be warned: the shower enclosure had a dropped ceiling. I’m guessing it’s around 6’4” in there? Maybe okay for a day if you’re used to the world being too short…
- 5/5
Great motel just outside the city. Rooms are a little outdated but very spacious and everything was cleaned and worked. All staff we spoke to were very friendly and gave us great food and drink recommendations. Parking free and right outside our room. Around a 10minute walk down to freemont which has bars, restaurants, supermarkets, breweries and lots more. Area felt very safe. Drive or bus will take around 10mins into the city, we walked and it took around an hour with some great views and nice places to grab a coffee along the water front. Great value option very close to Seattle
- 5/5
After checking in at the office my expectations were quite low but actually, you can tell they've done a lot of work on these rooms. We had an absolutely perfect stay. Rooms were quite comfortable and staff was super friendly. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
- 5/5
Staff were all amazing here. Kind, welcoming, and helpful!
- 4/5
As others have mentioned there is road noise. Especially with racing motorcycles. It quiets down substantially after 9 pm. There are good food options a short 3 blocks away. The place is old but it was clean enough and comfortable. The staff was great.
- 5/5
Staff were friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
We went for a few nights and had a great time in Seattle. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing bad, but nothing special at the motel. Affordable and adequate. Good location.
- 4/5
The motel is on a busy, high speed stroad with very loud traffic. I had a decent room that was as far from the traffic as possible, but open windows are an issue for noise. The AC unit - as an alternative to open windows - was aging and loud and squeaky. Overall, visitors will be here because of the relative low cost (though still very expensive by most standards). The area seemed safe enough.
- 5/5
Rooms are affordable, in a convenient location, and staff is always friendly and helpful. We always stay at the Marco when in Seattle.
- 5/5
It is a very basic motel, but clean rooms and friendly staff. More than enough to spend the night before our cruise. There are nice restaurants within a short walking distance. The area is very quiet and the bus stop is just a couple of blocks away.
- 5/5
Overall clean and nice. Had a little issue with WiFi but the staff worked to correct it and it was fine. Very helpful staff.
- 3/5
Staff were very friendly. The motel was a bit run down, but ok for one night. Cable TV didn’t work well. Wi-Fi connection was good.
- 5/5
The staff was very polite and helpful. The room and bathroom very clean. The decor was really nice too. I would stop there again.
- 3/5
Front desk staff was friendly and helpful upon check in. However, arriving back to room after spending time in Seattle we discovered the air conditioning was not working, that staff member was rude and claimed there was nothing he could do about it. He came to room and wiggled the button, cold air worked for about 5 minutes. He had already claimed there was notjing else he could do so we just endured the terribly hot room till morning. Road out front is extremely busy. Entire room is very dated.
- 1/5
Far from everything, noisy traffic all night, very hot, and the bathroom was very dirty.
- 5/5
The staff was particularly accommodating and able to give us good service in answering questions and giving us help based on their knowledge of the area and what our needs were. Our stay was pleasant and we were pleased with the accommodations. If needed, we would definitely consider staying at the Marco Polo again.
- 4/5
The staff was very accommodating and helped us out with questions we had. It was also close enough to our cruise terminal so was convenient for us to catch a ride quickly. Our room was comfortable and we appreciated the amenities of refrigeration and microwave. The only things that were a bit "uncomfortable" were 1) traffic noise 2) quite a walk to any eating establishments or markets, but that had nothing to do with your establishment's condition or service. All-in-all, we appreciated having the accommodations be clean and in good standing. Thank you.
- 5/5
Nice staff and exactly what we needed for a quick stay before going on a cruise to Alaska
- 3/5
Rooms and property need updating feels 30 years old but fairly clean.
- 4/5
Great, friendly staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Quiet, close to cruise port. Affordable.
- 5/5
The staff here are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure everything is good. It’s a super basic motel, but everything was clean and the location was great for walking to Fremont or Wallingford.
- 3/5
No breakfast at all...web-site says muffins, but no muffins.
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Very nice place to stay in the Fremont area of Seattle at a reasonable cost. However there are no dining options within walking distance.
- 4/5
You would never guess this hotel is on a highway. The room was super quiet, clean and big enough for our stay. Only down side was that it was a little warm in the room and it took many hours to cool it down. Close to the zoo, Fremont and the lake. We would stay again
- 5/5
This was a nice place for a night's rest with exceptionally helpful and caring staff.
- 3/5
Fairly clean but lower quality accommodations over all
- 4/5
The room does get a cross breeze with windows on both sides. But the traffic noise can be loud. If I had stayed longer, I would have checked out the Brooks Running trailhead, which is nearby.
- 5/5
It was a wonderful little motel. the room was comfy and the cable was great. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was cute.
- 4/5
An older motel but no issues.
- 5/5
We had such a great experience! We appreciate everything & the owner and staff were so friendly!
- 4/5
Ok motel exactly what I expected and was close to where we wanted to be
- 5/5
I was very pleased overall with my stay. They're in the middle of a remodel, but it was clean. The beds are comfortable. There's a dividing wall between the beds just by a little bit, but enough that you can't see each other if you're laying down. The staff was friendly. The check-in was quick for the price point. I expected a lot less and got much more. The Wi-Fi was poor but that is about the only thing that could be better for that price point.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and accommodating!
- 5/5
Comfortable local motel, good value and friendly and very accommodating staff. I would stay again if in that area.
- 5/5
We loved this place! We had the best room in the place with a view of the city. Loved it.
- 4/5
The motel offers a clean, ordinary, fairly standard motel room. The desk chair and a bench, both with leather seats were a surprise luxe touch.(Don't know if all rooms have such.) No microwave. The motel is right on a highway (crossable only via pedestrian overpass). Almost no stores, groceries, supplies, bars or restaurants within a walk. Only drive or take the bus.
- 5/5
This is a cute, 50s-style motel that is undergoing some updating. It's close to both downtown and the ports by taxi, plus it's one of the more reasonably priced motels/hotels in the area. And the staff is very welcoming. Restaurants are within walking distance and those restaurants are in a beautiful east-coast-type neighborhood. The only down-side is that the motel is right on Aurora, a heavily-traveled roadway.
- 5/5
Great spot. Loud road.
- 4/5
Staff was great!
- 5/5
I stayed there for one night and accidentally lost my wallet there. Daniel found my wallet and was able to hold it until I could have it picked up. Super friendly and I felt good knowing it was in safe hands. I got it back and I’ll be back!
- 5/5
Not a luxurious stay, but great price and location if you're simply looking for a nice bed for a couple nights.
- 3/5
Friendly staff, under renovation. Room has too much furniture.
- 4/5
I have to say, the employees make this a nice place to stay. They're kind, friendly and helpful. They were awesome with us and we witnessed the woman at the front desk handle a very difficult man with professionalism and compassion. I'm really impressed. The hotel was clean and you can tell the employees care. The only thing that was rough were the pillows, but for the price and service, I'd stay there again.
- 5/5
Was a great little place to stay. Was there for three nights and will definitely be back. Price is good for Seattle. Quick uber ride to areas that we wanted to go. Tv didn’t work but they quickly swapped it out for a new one. Very friendly service. Love the motel feel and we felt safe in this particular area
- 3/5
Bathroom was dirty, no maid service for two nights
- 3/5
The location could work for those with a car, but there are no walkable services (dining, coffee houses or marketing/shopping) nearby.
- 5/5
Great motel. Clean, nice staff, comfortable. Met our needs. 5 stars as this property is as advertised.
- 4/5
Decent simple motel.
- 5/5
Nicely maintained
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Nice hotel, affordable, & close to downtown Seattle.
- 5/5
Check in efficient and easy. Daniel very pleasant and accomodating our entire stay.
- 5/5
The person who welcomed us in was friendly and and made us feel welcomed. They also provided us with snacks when we checked out.
- 4/5
Great for a one night affordable place to lay head. But unless you’re the type who has hot flashes, you might get quite the chill. Had no heat in my room. They were renovating, so I wasn’t too upset. Staff was very friendly & shower water was hot atleast.
- 5/5
Property was very cute. I loved it. Bed was comfortable. Room was more than I thought. Had a little living room area with tv, coffee table, couch and desk. Then separate bedroom with bathroom. Only stayed one night but if I’m back in Seattle I will definitely return.
- 4/5
Very friendly and helpful service! Would stay again.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly.
- 4/5
The room was fairly clean. Great for a one night stay when travelling through. If the room had a fresh coat of paint, new pictures and curtains it would look much better. Beds really clean and smelt fine.
- 4/5
Todo bien en relation precio valor. Lo malo fue Que entra demasiada el ruido de la Calle
- 4/5
Overall great value
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Pretty clean, friendly staff and easy check-in and check out
- 5/5
Very kind staff, affordable price
- 4/5
Had warm water, a convenient place to commute from and to sleep. Had a great time, a fair price as well.
- 4/5
Its a motel, good value for money
- 5/5
I flew into Seattle late at night and the staff helped me find the easiest way to the hotel from the airport without taking an Uber. The room was your basic cheap hotel but it was warm, dry and clean. The staff is above and beyond any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If you’re looking for cheap and friendly this is your place!
- 5/5
Excellent, Ryan at the front desk was super helpful during a late night check in. The motel itself has great service for a great value.
- 3/5
The toilet was not securely bolted to the floor. It was too low, too. The sink leaked. The shower stall was dirty. There was a moldy smell in the room.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay!!!
- 4/5
Bed was very clean and comfortable. Microwave didn’t work and looked like it had been tossed over a cliff. Nice solo stay. Good enough for me and free safe parking.
- 5/5
Manager was very helpful, proactive in accommodating my needs. Room was clean, odor free:)
- 4/5
Check in was fast & easy, room was clean but very average room
- 2/5
To just sleep it's ok.
- 4/5
Older facility but very clean and comfortable. Just what we needed for a one night stay in the area
- 4/5
We had a comfortable stay and the check in/out was very easy. There was construction nearby on 41st that made accessing the property challenging initially.
- 4/5
Great staff and average rooms. Liked the location and convenient to multiple areas
- 5/5
Easy checkin..friendly staff..ample parking..hot shower..comfortable bed and pillows..all this at a great price..only drawback is its on a busy road though couldnt hear traffic from inside our room!

Older property but very clean and well maintained. Nice staff. Comfortable bed
- 5/5
It was exactly what we needed, close enough to the city for easy access but far enough away we didn’t get the noise of the city
- 4/5
Too far away from eating places.
- 5/5
For the price, it is all what I need. Friendly staff. 15 minutes from cruise port.
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
The hostess who checked me in and out was most accommodating to my request to upgrade to a room with an extra bed due to visiting family. Her friendliness was most appreciated as well.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff.
- 5/5
As long as you're not looking for a pristine, modern hotel room, this place is clean, affordable, and has all of the basics, just not the bells and whistles. All for half the price of downtown Seattle, but just a 10 minutes drive away. Being on a highway, without concrete walls, there's a constant traffic noise, but earplugs solved that for me.
- 4/5
Shower was flooded and no breakfast nearby! Other than that very quiet and comfty!
- 4/5
Clean room, spacious, affordable. The room that we stayed in did have that slight old musky odour due to it being an old building I think. But other than that, no other concerns. The bed was nice and clean. We'll use this motel again when we visit Seattle next time 👍
- 3/5
I mean way too expensive for a motel for what you get, the rooms smell musky almost moldy. Everything was clean for how outdated and old it is.
- 5/5
What a great and affordable hotel in the best neighborhood in Seattle. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are Quaint and clean. It’s located within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and cafes you could ever need.
- 3/5
Property was fine actually. Nothing to complain about. Staff was super friendly and courteous.
- 5/5
My wife and I were very appreciative of the professionalism and friendliness of the Hotel clerk, Yolanda. She welcomed us with a big smile and was very gracious. The next day when I asked for another washcloth, I know a very simple request, the gentleman who was at the desk, immediately got up and went to the laundry room area and then brought us a couple extra washcloths directly to the door for us. I was very surprised at not only the quality of service but how nice the motel was considering it's probably iconic and has been there longer than I am old :-) thanks for a great experience to all of you at Marco polo.

The property is older but very well cared for. The staff was very helpful. A great affordable option!
- 4/5
Property was decent especially for the cowt.
- 5/5
After a long drive we arrived way early- let us into one room and put a rush in another. Also needed a shower chair and she was most accommodating
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, although a bit outdated. The bed was very comfortable. Cons: on a noisy road; an unidentified, consistent sound that could be heard; and a bright light coming in through the bathroom window.
- 5/5
The room was clean. I felt very safe. They asked if I wanted room service during my 4 night stay.
- 2/5
It old building.
- 4/5
Great customer service. The location was super, on a direct bus line into town and very easy to get back from after a concert. Felt quite safe. It's on a bit of a busy road but not noisy enough to impact sleep at all. The room was dated, but clean. Perfect for a stopover in Seattle.
- 3/5
It is just beside route 99, so quite noisy. There is also limited dining with walking distance, so when we arrived around 9pm, the only option is to use Uber eats.
- 2/5
Problems were: it was a hot weekend and there was small a/c unit in the wall that barely blew any cool air. It is next to a busy thoroughfare so if we opened the windows, there would've been a lot of road noise. The place was clean but the tile around the shower drain was crumbling and we had to be careful not to step on it. Beware of the additional charges! It showed $182 per night but by the time all the fees (state tax, city tax, convention tax, etc) were added on it was over $260. So the final total was over $600 for 2 nights.
- 4/5
In great area of city. Easy to plan out your day and just use public transportation. Nice staff and semi quiet for Being on main road.
- 4/5
Staff was great. Rooms outdated.
- 5/5
Good place for the price. Very nice staff. They texted me to confirm my arrival time and made sure they were still there when i arrived late due to a flight delays.
- 3/5
The property is quite old and when I tried to place my phone and other electric items into the wall outlets they fell out because they were sold old and used. Property was not really close to any eating establishments.
- 5/5
room was clean staff super friendly. room outdated but ok for the night
- 5/5
It is an older motel but was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond for us. Definitely would stay again.

This is an older motel with charm. Nice and clean. I had a beautiful view of the City Lights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable. I would stay there again!
- 5/5
Good place to stay for events near Woodland Park. Good staff and decent rooms.
- 5/5
Groovy old roadside motel, felt like a relic of a bygone era. Despite the old outdoor stairways, the room itself was comfy and modern.
- 5/5
All the staff are so friendly here. I love this motel and the area. Its within walk distance to restaurants and bars. The bus to downtown Seattle is just a few minutes away. Its not a new motel but the furniture are new.
- 4/5
Convenient location, easy to get around, friendly service, best price around, but nothing fancy.
- 5/5
good price!
- 5/5
The staff is very friendly. I didn't know about the Cobain thing until a week after I checked out. Was only there for 1 day. TV channels are extremely limited and have static. The double room is very spacious, but has limited electrical outlets. Room was clean. Good for a night or two IMO.
- 4/5
It was a good place to stay in middle of summer. Close to city transit. Beds were comfy. Had a coffee maker, mic and fridge in room. Staff was very accomodating anf friendly. Free luggae storage before check in and after check out. Will def stay there again.
- 5/5
The people who work at this hotel are the nicest I have encountered in a long while!
- 4/5
Was close
- 5/5
Friendly staff, tidy room, decent bed. All was well!
- 5/5
Extremely helpful staff.
- 5/5
Wonderful hosts with so much help! The property has some really cool historic facts and the space was clean and quiet. Very close to all the happenings downtown in Seattle. We absolutely loved it and will be back. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and fun.
- 2/5
Poor condition.
- 5/5
The location is great! I felt safe, even at night. Walking distance from dozens of restaurants, the bridge troll and the zoo. Park at the hotel and just walk to everything! Other than traffic, the nights were quiet. The hotel itself is a little old but it is not dilapidated, the tub and tile were vintage, but not in a gross way. They had a welcoming lobby with coffee in the morning as well as pamphlets for tourists, landscaping was some colorful wildflowers and there’s plenty of well lit parking spots!
- 4/5
I noticed that the electrical outlets whenever I tried to plug something in to charge the plugs would fall out, many of them need to be replaced.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff. Facilities definitely dated and room had an old smoke smell.
- 5/5
Easy checkin, staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Very clean and easy access to downtown. Could use a little updating but it works. Safe. Nice staff.
- 4/5
Friendly staff and very convenient location
- 3/5
I was not aware that it was a two story structure, with no elevator. If I had know the layout in advance, I would have requested ground floor. Staff was excellent, it was a decent experience minus the stairs.
- 5/5
If you are looking for a place for a couple nights this is the place for you. Very close to some good restaurants and bars.
- 4/5
Thank you
- 3/5
Two bath towels even though reservation indicated it was 3 adults. Could not find room downstairs. Seems like long term clients and may be drug usage on the property. TV did not work for news channels. I think it was grossly over prized.
- 5/5
Older motel on a busy street. Decent restaurants a few blocks away.
- 4/5
They were friendly and accommodating. Accessible to public transit.
- 5/5
Would definitely stay here again.Great staff and close to everything, yet not too close.
- 5/5
Can't say enough good about the staff. And their native language was english! Rooms were good, older but remodeled. Shower, no tub.
- 4/5
For a quick stay I was very surprised. Very nice staff and actively keeping things tidy throughout the day.
- 4/5
It's not an upscale place, but it's clean and well-kept. The staff that we interacted with was friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay there again.
- 5/5
For a classic "cheap" motel, this place was way better than one might expect. Clean, comfortable, completely functional -- and very friendly staff. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
- 5/5
From the moment we arrived at the Marco Polo, we were greeted with a friendly staff, very professional and helpful. Room was upgraded, and we loved the room. Easily accessible to downtown Seattle by car or bus. Can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was.
- 5/5
We spent a night at the Marco Polo while heading out on a cruise. Itbwas very clean, close to restaurants and things to do. The staff was incredibly helpful and patient while we figured out what we needed. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the tv worked. Lol! I would stay again.
- 5/5
We had great time staying at Marco’s Polo. Thank you for letting our family staying there for the night. It was great experience. Greatly appreciated.
