Outstanding

Room was great - we had the 1 bedroom suite. Staff was amazing. They were super helpful upon arrival and any need we had they were able to accommodate. Great location. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Love all of the Kimpton hotels!
- 5/5
It was a very nice spacious room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good but the service was a little slow for breakfast.
- 3/5
Location was great, staff was really sweet and helpful, but overall this felt like a lower-grade hotel. Our bed had a flat sheet being used as a fitted sheet which feels like you're in someone's college dorm, and the room was pretty loud. We were woken at 6:30 am by an alarm in the supply closet going off and the elevator noise/thump also rattled our mirror every few minutes. Overall the room felt 'cold' and was just lacking in an overall vision/cozy feel. For the price I expected a higher level of attention to detail and comfort so was disappointed in our stay and am my love of Kimpton's has been lowered.
- 5/5
Wine happy hour from 5-6 was perfect.
- 5/5
Staff super friendly and professional. Love the property. Food was also amazing. Perfect Americano in the am. Will stay again.

personnel and that is was clearly being managed to maintain excellence

- 5/5
Very clean and the beds were very comfortable Everything was perfect
- 4/5
Super friendly and helpful staff, beautiful lobby, rooms are pretty simple but clean and well kept. The only parking option is valet which is $75 USD per night, and there’s no coffee maker in the rooms which is a little inconvenient
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
i wish the parking situation was better. there is none, you either have to park up and around the block and walk or you have to pay for valet, 75 for 1 night.
- 5/5
Very nice facilities, friendly staff and nice spacious rooms. would definitely visit there again.
- 5/5
We have stayed here before and loved, this time around as absolutely phenomenal! The staff was amazing, we got upgraded to a suite which made our trip! My husband got a card from the staff wishing him a wonderful birthday and some goodies in the room. Our kitty got a little toy, we were offered amenities for our kitty if we needed. Just an amazing stay.

A microwave would be a nice edition
- 5/5
Clean room, attentive staff.
- 5/5
The staff was absolutely amazing. I relocated to Seattle from another state with 8 suitcases. Staff was so accommodating and helpful. I really appreciated that! The property is gorgeous and I love that they have a dog area.

Location, staff, amenities
- 4.5/5
A great hotel all around! Nothing
- 2/5
We arrived and it was busy no one was reaching out to help and front desk staff was less than pleasant to deal with. We received a phone call apologizing for how bad the service was at 8:30 at night. We were busy and barely at the hotel. Just not what we thought it was going to be!
- 3/5
The hotel was fully renovated a short time ago. It looks beautiful, but they missed some key things that are safety risks. Example: carpet tacks sticking out of the carpet near the window seats. We stayed in a King suite, but the sitting room lacked good lighting and the bathroom is very small. The mamagement is great and the front desk staff were very nice. Breakfast at the restaurant was terrible. Served cold with bad portions. The location is very convenient. 3 stars.
- 5/5
Absolute best hotel stay I’ve had. Favorites: blackout drapes, GOOD hot coffee and tea in the lobby from 5-10a, wonderful soaps/lotions that aren’t bolted down bc seriously I’m a guest not a thief, fridge in room, flooring that can be mopped instead of nasty carpeting, CLEAN as a whistle—even stuff most hotels miss (light switches, base boards, walls, door handles, tissue boxes—clean!!), and most of all—the SWEETEST and kindest staff ever. Great gym. Great restaurant attached. Walking distance to everything. Beautiful interior design. Hands down—best.
- 5/5
Great location, beautiful remodel and wonderful staff.
- 5/5
They had a burst pipe and no hot water. No one's fault and they handled it really well. Will stay there again!
- 4/5
Beautiful from the moment you walk in. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the restaurant (Marin) was pretty and the food was delicious! The Valet took a while each time I used it, and the hair dryer was dirty.
- 5/5
Clean room and nice shower. Great location!
- 5/5
It was great!
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Staff was friendly. The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were terrible.
- 5/5
Shower was nice and hot, and easy to use. I was able to use my Netflix account to watch a series that I’m interested in. Complementary Museum tickets for the Seattle Art Museum were appreciated. Complementary Happy Hour was enjoyable.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
This hotel charges a Seattle tourism assignment fee, guest amenity fee, a parking fee, a state occupancy tax - 15.7%, state sales tax - 10.55% and city tax - 14.5%. For 2 nights additional fees were 98.54 and taxes were 178.88. This is OUTRAGEOUS!!! No wonder why businesses are moving out of Downtown Seattle.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
The staff truly stood out—they were incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. After leaving another hotel that I didn’t enjoy, I arrived much earlier than standard check-in time, and they graciously accommodated me with an early check-in, which I really appreciated. My room was large, spacious, and beautifully designed with a modern, bright aesthetic. It felt fresh and relaxing, and it had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. The hotel also offers a nice workout facility and an excellent on-site restaurant, which added to the overall convenience. On top of that, the location is outstanding—right in the heart of downtown and close to everything I needed in the city. Overall, this hotel delivers on comfort, style, and service. Between the welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff, spacious rooms, and prime location, it made my stay in Seattle both easy and enjoyable. I would gladly stay here again.
- 5/5
Good hotel location. Cool vibes chill
- 5/5
Room was great, very clean and well appointed
- 5/5
Service was the best. From the moment you enter they were so nice. If you had a need they were right there.
- 5/5
Staff, clean spacious room
- 5/5
Very clean. Great valet. Early check in!
- 4/5
Clean room. Helpful staff.
- 5/5
Gorgeous hotel! Kind staff. Good location. Gym was perfect (yea for a Peloton—two Pelotons!). We were in a suite—very spacious with a nice sitting area. Not a rinky dink couch—a solid, comfortable one. Lobby and attached restaurant were wonderful. Great atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Room was great
- 4.5/5
I loved how spacious and the interior design of the hotel rooms are but the best thing was the location. NA
- 4/5
Very friendly to our pets! Nice accommodating staff. Great experience. The hotel is under construction but the room looked good. No windows in the rooms and the A/C didn't seem to get too cold.
- 4/5
The staff is amazing! Kind, helpful, and fun. Also bilingual! The room was fine, but it’s the little things that matter, right? The shower was wonderful! Beautiful tile, smooth sliding glass door, cool textured floor, and TWO adjustable shower heads. Loved the wall-mounted make-up mirror, too. I miss the funky decor of the old Hotel Monaco, but these are the details that will bring me back.
- 5/5
The hotel was pet friendly and extremely kind to us. The design is so aesthetic and we loved our room and the staff.
- 5/5
Our pet kitties were allowed to stay and at no charge. Kitties bowls and toys were provided. The restaurant was inside the hotel and valet parking was provided. The hotel was easy driving distance to Virginia Mason Hospital. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Staff are always polite and very helpful. Nothing.
- 5/5
Everything about my stay was amazing! The quiet atmosphere, the staff were very welcoming
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Great service. Very friendly!
- 5/5
The property was recently refurbished and it looks and feels great. Every staff member was professional and personable.
- 5/5
Comfortable, clean, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Spotless well-decorated room and bartender. Day 1 at breakfast in attractive newly-finished restaurant: good food and service. Day 2 the restaurant manager was rude, asking us to wait 15 minutes so he “coud clear some tables” (that we could see were unoccupied). We said we need to be seated and were short on time and would have to eat st the airport if we could not be seated sooner. He said have a good meal at the airport. We did-at half the price of Monaco. Guess the manager was having a bad day. We love Kimpton’s overall.
- 5/5
Сlean Roman, friendly personal
- 4/5
Good location
- 3/5
Loved the dog friendly stay, didn’t enjoy the dog area as it was on the side outside, felt like it was an alleyway for the dog rather than a “dog run” stated by the staff. The room had a good amount of luggage stands and areas to place bags on top of, had complimentary waters for guests. Felt like a staff member was a bit lazy in setting up of our beds, one was neat and another looked slept in and then just reassembled back together instead of washed. We only stayed for one night and it was night time so we didn’t really want to complain too much about it, just wanted to let people know to check their beds more carefully. Breakfast is not complimentary but we enjoyed the wine hour made by a local winery. Parking is valet only for $60, or local garage for $45ish. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
The staff was super kind and helpful
- 5/5
The property is timeless, sophisticated yet very comforting and cozy and well designed/decorated. The amenities are endless and the staff goes above and beyond. The rooms are so relaxing and so clean and organized! Lastly the food in the hotel restaurant was so delicious. They got rid of the smash burger…. Very sad to hear about it.. the people yearn for it haha
- 5/5
Great stay! Awesome location downtown Seattle! Friendly staff and very accommodating. Will stay again!
- 5/5
Great place to stay in Seattle!!!
- 5/5
Excellent staff
- 5/5
Place was wonderful and staff was great. The bald man with the beard and glasses was absolutely beautiful :) . He made walking past the front desk everyday worth it!
- 4/5
I just wish the menu wasn’t so specific.
- 5/5
Clean, great area, comfortable!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. Short walk to Pike Market and plenty restaurant and bar choices nearby.
- 5/5
We had a lovely stay. Maurice at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
Front desk staff was wonderful, and the staff that cleaned the room were so accommodating!
- 5/5
This was the perfect property to stay at for my trip.
- 4/5
We had a great stay! We loved the Purple Cafe and Wine Bar around the Corner. The staff was amazing at the hotel and very friendly. My only complaint is that the rooms with one queen bed are so small. Would definitely be sure to get a king size or a double room!
- 5/5
great room for our short stay but there was faint music that we did not ask for nor could we control in our room all of the time
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff & really spacious
- 5/5
Great location and charming beautiful room Staff was not friendly nor helpful
- 5/5
About 10 mins from pikes place market. Clean room, attached restaurant made it nice
- 5/5
A short walk to everything. We would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Everything ! Not a thing- all is perfection!
- 5/5
Everything! There is not one bad aspect about this hotel Unable to find anything I did not like
- 0.5/5
nothing rude front desk, Leslie is a rude person who treats you like garbage. also it said city view, that was not true. it said it had a coffee machine also not true. it said a upgraded bathroom also not true. and they put me in a sister room where i could hear the people next to me the whole night!
- 4/5
Our issue was we didn’t feel particularly safe staying in the area. The streets were very empty and lots of drug use/homelessness in the area. It was unnerving walking between the hotel and the market
- 5/5
Modern hotel with great amenities
- 5/5
The famous pikes peak market is about 5-7min walking distance from the hotel definitely recommend getting some fruit
- 2/5
They couldn’t find our reservation, then after about 20 min found it. It wasn’t clean for us to check in yet. When we went back at the time they told us to, they couldn’t find it again. We had our daughter & son in law with us and had booked a 2 queen room. They tired to give us a king room multiple times through out the confusion. I’m not sure if it was a hotel issue or a booking.com issue but either way it was very frustrating
- 5/5
Very nice hotel! I would absolutely recommend!
- 4/5
Very conveniently located. Nice lobby and rooms were recently renovated. Room did not have sufficient outlets. Additional lighting would be helpful, as would be a comfortable chair for reading.
- 3/5
nice new property
- 5/5
Close to water front and nice walk to lumen field
- 5/5
Very nice clean and close to everything
- 5/5
The hotel was recently renovated and it’s beautiful! The rooms are really nice and big and the bathrooms are nice as well, the location is excellent and we walked everywhere
- 5/5
Do not have any doubts about staying here! You’ll love it :)
- 5/5
Best client service ever thx to Giovani
- 4/5
Lobby staff needs to improve interaction with clients
- 5/5
The reception staff is commendable. Will stay again next time I'm in Seattle.
- 3/5
Desk clerk (female) said she was going to charge an additional $25 for amenities for coffee dining ($10) discount. I said no I have had stage 4 throat and cannot drink coffee and don’t drink alcohol and why would I pay for dinner that I am not going to order. Stealing with another up charge! Won’t stay here again.
- 4/5
Expensive for what you get. No power charging stations near your bed. Poor lighting in the room. Noise ci structuring or something in the middle of the night. Asked for a banana in the morning they didn’t have one. Just disappointed for the price and the value
- 5/5
It's the extra things that make a hotel special, and Monaco has it. Really appreciated the 5-6 wine in the lobby not only for the wine but also for getting to meet other travelers. The free tickets to either the Columbia Tower or to a Seattle museum was just the best. Recommend the hotel and will stay here again when I'm back in Seattle.
- 5/5
What a fantastic hotel! Recently renovated and they spared no expense. The rooms are spacious, the gym facilities are great! And you can’t beat the cocktail hour in the lobby daily from 5-6 with an appetizer. Their newly opened hotel the Mjran has an excellent menu and food is delish! I’d be amiss to not mention what a lovely surprise it was to have a non-dairy milk option at their coffee station in the mornings. We will definitely be back!
- 4/5
Pretty central location, easy walk to stadiums or the market. Comfortable and spacious room! You can judge a room my the shower and the shower was excellent.
- 3/5
I was disappointed at how much night time noise was picked up in our room. Other hotels we have stayed in in downtown Seattle tend to have some noise cancelling, instead we heard honking and sirens at all hours of the night. The staff (aside from check in) was great - very kind. At check in, I waited 10 minutes with no information, the staff member just kept staring at her computer but never left to see what the issue was. I had to ask, twice, “everything ok?” Just to be told “yeah” with 5 more minutes of silence.
- 2.5/5
Location was great! I could hear the phone alarm in the room next to us go off, not much soundproofing at all, wifi they claim is a $15 value but it doesn’t work as well as the free wifi at most hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Front desk staff unhelpful when asking for recommendations, had to google it ultimately
- 1/5
Terrible
- 3/5
Total cost for a "spa" room was about 900 Cad, this included a follow up charge of about 150cad for parking and "amenities fee" that cam after the fact. Calling the room a "spa" room when it is just a separate tub and shower seems gratuitous. The elevator to the top 3 floors stopped working and we had to take the elevator to the 9th floor and walk up, with the reverse to go down. There was also some kind of substance on the ceiling in the bathroom that looked like petroleum jelly or similar. For a 900 a night hotel, this seemed a little ridiculous. Definitely not great value and will not stay here again.
- 5/5
The hotel and restaurant staff were very kind. They noticed we were a little jet lagged when checking in and offered us an energy drink to pick us up. Small gestures like that really make this hotel stand out, as that was the first time we’ve had that happen in any hotel we’ve ever stayed in.
- 5/5
Nice prperty with clean rooms and good front desk service
- 1/5
The room we booked was not available and they didn't have a room that accommodated out group. They didn't really care either and only offered to cancel. Buyer beware. I would not book again. False advertising.
- 0.5/5
Nothing, service was horrible. We waited in the hotel lobby from 11:45pm until 2:30am attempting to check into our room, the staff was ill equipped to do their job and could not figure out how to get us into our room
- 5/5
Fantastic
- 5/5
Stunning decor, very friendly staff and comfy bed! Excellent restaurant. Free wine and coffee!
- 5/5
We came back to visit 11 years after our first stay (the night of our wedding!). The room, amenities and location was still as fantastic as we remember. The restaurant was also as we remember (although it’s been two other names since we last dined) the service was meh, but the food was good.
- 4/5
The property was close to the waterfront and conveniently located.
- 2/5
Staff didn’t tell you the things that they had going on like wine daily you get free tickets to places. One of them act like they were annoyed because I was asking them questions for the price I paid. They were still under renovations that had been going on for months. Did I get an email stating that they were in renovations yes but they said it will be finished in 4 to 6 weeks but in the two months months after I received the email it was still not completed. For the price you pay it’s not worth it because it’s unfinished. And the staff was bad noncommunicating.
- 4/5
Very nice hotel but undergoing renovations so a bit sparse in lobby. Wonderful room and breakfast was amazing
- 5/5
The Hotel was Clean, the staff was Amazing. The restaurant was Fire❗🔥 and I'd stay there again ❗
- 5/5
great location, 7minute walk to pikes peak.
