Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, there are recurring issues with the amenities, such as problems with the air conditioning, shower, and towels. Additionally, many guests feel the hotel is overpriced, especially considering the extra fees for parking and the destination charge.
- Great location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Overpriced with extra fees
- Issues with amenities such as air conditioning, shower, and towels
- 4/5
The restaurant on site was good. The parking was interesting as you have to ring for someone to help if the gate is closed. The elevators do indeed need the room key to then take you to the floor....make sure you have yours accessible! The staff we encountered were indeed friendly and informed us of things happening that evening. It is within walking distance of coffee shops, cafes and Pikes Market Place.
- 4/5
Great experience
- 3/5
While the hotel was nice, the required $25 service charger per day was excessive. With that you get $15 credit for food and snacks. Unfortunately, they couldn’t trouble themselves to restock the snacks for two days so we wasted that credit. In addition, they put the workout/weight room right next to patron rooms. The constant clanking and banging of the weights and machines made it challenging to enjoy the stay or even SLEEP when people chose to workout past midnight or at 3:00 am.
- 4/5
Room was ok. There is no breakfast other than at the main restaurant. The selection of purchasable snacks was disappointing.
- 4/5
The room was nice but the air conditioning was really loud when the fan was running and you could see some age showing in there hallways. The beds and everything were comfortable and quality. The restaurant was really nice but an expensive place to eat. The burgers were excellent but they were $28. Overall, it’s a 4 out of 5 stars experience
- 3/5
Good location, good price.. nothing fancy !!
- 4/5
The free welcome drinks were a nice touch. Parking on site available for $60 but parking is awkward. The bathroom door is a sliding barn door that doesn’t lock or stay closed so that was weird. But otherwise clean, and staff was nice.
- 2/5
For $350 a night stay, and breakfast costing $30 each, we felt this was accessive. Also, a glass of wine was $22. Then adding fees, $38. Then an expected tip. So $40 for one glass of marginal wine. Then, we asked for more pods of coffee (only 2 given) and asked if there was a charge. The answer was "maybe". Shower leaked onto the floor. Ran out of conditioner. Not so much good to say about this stay...
- 5/5
I loved the rooftop area and the location. My only wish would have been a more cost effective parking option. The restaurant was lovely and the service and food was wonderful. A nice way to spend a holiday.
- 5/5
All the staff were incredibly friendly!
- 5/5
Great location. Staff was professional, friendly and competent. Room was clean. No issues.
- 1/5
Bathroom shower vibrates when water tap is fully opened as if a helicopter is running above your head.
- 5/5
Nice hotel, comfortable room and amenities that are great
- 5/5
Clean and great location
- 5/5
Very kind front desk, I forgot his name, but he sounds Slavic. All the other agents seems to be friendly as well and interacted well with their guests. The room is clean and spacious. The hotel is also close to the mall, monorail station, and Pike Market. I highly recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Was a really nice hotel with friendly staff
- 5/5
Everything was very good
- 3/5
Location of the hotel is great- very close to Pike place market and surrounding shopping and dining areas. Beds were comfortable and staff were friendly enough. We parked at the hotel garage, which was hard to get into and out of with limited and small spaces for cars. The bathroom was really our biggest issue- water pressure for showering was terrible, our faucet was leaking around itself and later, under the sink was dripping on our last night, and the shower curtain smelled like mold even though it was clean. We expect more from a Hilton hotel so we were disappointed and would not book there again.
- 4/5
Perfect walking distance to fun things
- 5/5
Super friendly and accommodating staff.
- 3/5
They advertised a rooftop deck when I booked in January but when we arrived the “rooftop” deck was not open. Additionally the bar that was opened was on level 5 and said the rooftop bar would be opening soon. Do not advertise a rooftop deck when you are 20 stories tall and the deck is opening on level 5. Very disappointing!!!
- 5/5
Very central to everything and the staff were fabulous
- 3/5
Average, nothing overly special. A necklace was left behind in a very obvious area of the room and reported less than 24 hours later and staff claimed they could not find it. Feels like a lack of integrity on behalf of the hotel housekeeping staff.
- 5/5
No comment, we did not have a meal, we did not park a car
- 5/5
Everything in the hotel was lovely and clean, the staff are very nice and helpful, and the views from rooms are outstanding!
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Celan Room, staff
- 2/5
Overall, this is a 3star property at best. Felt very basic, even for Hilton standards. Wouldn’t stay there again.
- 0.5/5
My room was freezing cold, they called the engineer that confirmed the AC system was broken. I got sick
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. The room was perfectly sized for the two of us, and it was very clean. All of the staff we interacted with were incredibly kind and helpful. We hope to stay again in the future!
- 5/5
Good breakfast options. All staff were friendly and attentive.
- 5/5
Great location and no complaints
- 5/5
fine
- 5/5
Great location really clean facility and friendly hospitality
- 5/5
Perfect location for Pikes market, Trains a block down to get to space needle super comfy and nice Nothing I didn't like it was perfect
- 5/5
Friendly, attentive staff. Well maintained room.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. Can easily walk to Pike Place.

- 2/5
Long wait times for room lobby was packed the staff
- 5/5
Beautiful room, amenities and staff!
- 3/5
everything was okay except bathroom shower basin glass some gaps between basin end and glass end so when you shower
- 0.5/5
They charge me twice for the parking lot
- 5/5
Love this hotel!! Will choose it when available!
- 5/5
It was a good experience. We just had to leave very early to catch a flight
- 5/5
Great customer service! Very suggestive of local experiences and restaurants!
- 5/5
very clean and prompt service
- 3/5
Centrally located and easy access to the light rail and public transportation. The staff was responsive and helpful. I did not take a shower that had either: correct temperature or water pressure, regardless of time of day.
- 4/5
Location was the best, everything from convenient store to easy access to the freeway and then few minutes of walking distance to Pike's Market....An amazing bakery right accross the street from the hotel. Everything was awesome! As far as the room goes...it was ok, nothing too special. Bathtub was clogged and the room was really cold, but the bed was sooooo comfy! Over all it's worth the price. I had no idea there was a beach close by...would've loved to visit.
- 3/5
The hotel room feels like it was thrown together from an outlet store. Toiletries had not been refilled by cleaning staff and they have the audacity to leave a QR code for tipping the staff when they aren’t even performing normal duties. The food is beyond expensive and all comes with a mandatory 20% service charge that the hotel keeps 5% of…but, still has a tip line because the staff put the absolute minimum effort in to serving you. The location is great but for the price, you can do better.
- 5/5
Courteous staff, clean room, firm comfortable bed. Walking distance to pike market place, mono rail to space needle and Westlake shopping outlet.
- 3/5
It’s a bummer that rooms don’t have microwaves anymore and the price to pay for parking
- 3.5/5
Did have breakfast but lunch and dinner was good and the customers service was great
- 4/5
I wish they did coffee in the lobby or something. Our heater did not work well.
- 5/5
Large clean comfortable and quiet room. Friendly helpful staff.
- 5/5
Close to Seattle activity
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
Water faucet leaking water and something was wrong with the water pressure. You could hear when someone was showering in the next room because it was so loud.
- 3/5
Food bar was fine. Hoping for more options at the snack bar
- 5/5
Very nice downtown location, very convenient.
- 5/5
I checkes out early and dis not have to opportunity to have breakfast on premises. I dod have dinner at thw restaurant located on the 5th floor. Great atmosphere and staff.
- 5/5
Clean, quick check in/out process, floors were quiet.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing
- 4/5
Staff are very nice. There was a very loud noise for some time in the late afternoon, which the front desk explained was caused by old pipes when water demand is high. As we hoped, it was gone when we returned in the evening and all night. The location is so good for many venues, and the price is reasonable by Seattle standards, so we will continue to stay here when we come into the city.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent -- a quick walk to Pike's Market and other attractions. There was a big rip in the carpet in the room. I felt like it made the room look unattractive. It was right in the center, and it made it seem as if it wasn't a priority. I really hope you fix it.
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast and drink selection
- 5/5
Very clean room! Staff was excellent and helpful!
- 5/5
Really enjoyed our stay, the staff was nice, room was perfect with good views of the bay. Would stay here again!
- 1/5
I don’t appreciate the Hotel automatically adding 20% tip to the f&b bill and then keeping 15% of that total for itself. That's just an dishonest money grab. And don’t forget they charge $69 for parking and $25 for a destination fee
- 5/5
Room was nice and clean
- 4/5
Location Shower water never gets hot
- 5/5
Room was very clean and spacious. Very comfortable beds!
- 4/5
Staff were very nice. The room was clean but the shower did not have hot water.
- 5/5
Love this location!!! Staff is great too!! Parking very expensive tho
- 5/5
spotless room, amazing service, great food and athmosphere at the newly renovated resturaunt
- 5/5
It’s clean, safe and centrally located.
- 3/5
The pictures of the hotel look much better than this very average Hilton hotel. It was clean and fine but otherwise dull.
- 5/5
Everything was awsome the comfort of the bed was amazing!!
- 5/5
The location was key, room layout was nice. They allowed an early check in. We had no complaints
- 5/5
Great experience
- 3/5
When checking out, I was told to pay $180 for the stay, however I’ve already paid most of the expense through Expedia, if not taking a look at the receipt, I’d charged twice , which is very unprofessional “accident”
- 5/5
Love this place
- 5/5
We stayed on the 18th floor. The view was spectacular. The room was clean and as pictured.
- 1/5
The rooms were dirty. There was a lot of pink mould in the bathroom. The Trim around the doors and the carpets were dirty. The whole thing was just gross. The check in process was brutal. They might have 24/7 check in but the staff were sitting in the back napping. I couldn't get into the underground with my key.
- 1/5
Location I only booked this property as it had 4 EV chargers however none of them were working when I arrived very late at night and my car had 7% chargers however none left. I was awoken constantly by my phone to tell me that my car had stopped charging, eventually I had to get up at midnight and drive 15 mins to find a supercharger to charge my car. I eventually got back to the hotel and to sleep at gone 1am. I was extremely tired the next day at my early morning meeting. I should have booked a different hotel as the staff didn’t seem to care
- 5/5
Always a great stay. A home ways form home!
- 4.5/5
location was very good
- 4/5
Close to theater
- 5/5
Our stay was great. Highly recommend.
- 2.5/5
Location; convenient to everything in downtown Seattle Clearly had been some water damage in the bathroom that they hadn't fixed. Only one towel in the bathroom so my partner and I had to share. General issues with cleanliness. The mini fridge did not work. No option for room service. $60 to park on top of room fees
- 5/5
Everything was so easy and smooth!
- 3/5
Check-In and Check-out took a while. There was always lines with only 1 or 2 attendants. The bellhop service guy Medi, outstanding, very nice and happy. My daughter's room had a microwave but when they opened it, there was trash inside and they didn't have a tv remote. Which brings me to the TV's. It is your very basic channels and there is no streaming for your own accounts. They should really consider upgrading all TV's. You have to travel to 2 other floors to get ice, which was annoying. The parking garage smells very bad like they need to replace their dumpsters or something. Smells like you're walking into trash from the elevator. Other than that, it was a nice stay. Beds are comfy and so are the pillows. They weren't flat and uncomfortable. Location was great, just down the street from Pike Market and prime shopping. The Elephant Pub was good for food & drinks, and a better vibe than the hotel bar.
- 5/5
Nice simple hotel easily accessible from the freeway. Safe convenient parking on site. It's my go-to place when I'm visiting Seattle. Pretty decent for the price
- 2/5
Nice hotel, but very understaffed in all areas. No answer at phone front desk after multiple calls, repeated request unfulfilled after having to go to the front desk multiple times. food very good but took for ever. Spencer at the front was very good and did all he could to make things right. All in all we wouldn’t stay at this hotel again until the figure things out.
- 4.5/5
Location
- 2/5
Safe would not open, called to front desk to have it fixed, no one came ! Got free drink coupon, but only for chardonnay, wouldn't let me upgrade to Savignon Blanc! Had the bread appy.. 4 pieces of dry, stale bread for 11 dollars!
- 2/5
The bathroom sounded like the plumbing was going to breakdown at any moment. EXTREMELY loud… kept me and my baby awake for hours, bc neighbors would use the bathrooms and we could hear on our room as well.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
I did not eat breakfast but the restaurants in the hotel were good options and they provided a lot of stuff. Everything was clean and went smoothly. Wonderful customer service.
- 5/5
This hotel was exceptional. Parking is a little pricey, but everything about it was great. Easy access to the market.
- 5/5
Great hotel!
- 3/5
go back.
- 5/5
Centrally located. Shopping and a variety of restaurants within steps.
- 5/5
Spacious in the room, really enjoyed the small couch in between the beds gave us another place to lounge.
- 5/5
Keep up the good work!
- 5/5
Yes, there were. Nice drinks at the bar.

Good location
- 4/5
The room was small..and the bath tub was outdated
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
The vouchers for the dining are really appreciated.
- 3/5
Property was fine. Expedia was horrible..won't do that again and will spread the word!
- 5/5
Great place
- 3/5
The room felt very impersonal.
- 5/5
Very easy. Was able to get a room early in the day
- 5/5
The staff was amazing! So helpful and so kind!
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay at Hilton Motif. The location couldn’t be better, right by Pike Place and all the action. Super comfy bed, clean room, and great service from the staff. Perfect spot for our Seattle trip.
- 1/5
Was supposed to be reimbursed but never was
- 5/5
Location Breakfast - hopefully it has rice
- 5/5
We stayed at the Hilton from Friday to Monday and attended our first Seahawks game. We had a very comfortable stay
- 1/5
Dusty room. Not clean and old decor. Not a 4-star hotel level. So disappointed for the price I paid.
- 5/5
Heart of downtown of Seattle
- 5/5
Property was great! Room was clean, but a little dusty. Sheets, bathroom and couch with in great shape and the staff was phenomenal. My main issue was not with the hotel, but the homeless drug use nearby
- 5/5
Parking overnight was a bit expensive, and not having the restaurant open later than 10am was disappointing for some us late risers. Overall would go back.
- 5/5
This is a great area by location to attractions and dining options during day time hours. At night time it's a different story. It's best to not walk around the area as the street people are out and it's not the safest to be out.
- 4.5/5
We we double charged for parking and it wasn’t reimbursed
- 5/5
I would have liked to have an ice dispenser on my floor.
- 5/5
Awseome experience. The staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable.
- 3.5/5
Close to pike place and all the local attractions
- 4/5
Parking and Access - Parking isnot included with the booking. This should be noted.. Getting charged an addition 75 per day is extreme
- 3/5
Location good
- 5/5
Excellent location and room was clean.
- 4.5/5
My original room was not available when I arrived.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff, especially Catie! Very comfortable beds and rooms.
- 5/5
Great location for a tourist or foodie to enjoy
- 5/5
Pike Placeに近いため、朝食に出かけることも可能で、混雑を避けることもできます。 近隣はレストランも多く、食事のオプションは多様です。また、TagetやPCCマーケットも近く、買い物にも便利はよかったです。
- 5/5
Hotel was nice. Beds and pillows are comfy.
- 5/5
Centrally located. Easy to train and monorail and walkable to other tourist locations.
- 5/5
Perfect hotel nice view walking distance to the heart of Seattle!!
- 5/5
Beautiful room with a great view! Restaurant downstairs sucks and was super slow but the hotel was wonderful!
- 5/5
Excellent location and wonderful staff. Made our stay easy
- 4/5
Great hotel. The only downside was added fees that were not disclosed when booking.
- 3/5
In addition to average furnishings for a downtown Seattle hotel, be prepared for a $25 per day “service charge” which totally negates the”complementary” drink and 15% discount on dinner. The restaurant was closed the night we were there, so we missed out on the discount as well. Not impressed.
- 5/5
Thanks for breakfast team for delicious breakfast
- 4/5
The ADA room we requested was spacious and had very good bathing facilities for mobility challenged people. Unfortunately, getting hot water to shower in was a hit or miss affair.
- 4/5
Clean rooms, easy access and good property. Just that the breakfast was not worth the price they were charging else would have given 5 stars
- 1.5/5
Location was good. It was very dirty. Staff was somewhat nice but also rude. I’ve stayed in other hiltons for less money and had a more luxurious experience. I was disappointed
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 4/5
Lobby offered apples and refreshing water
- 5/5
Love this Hotel property. A close, easy walk to the Pike Place Market area and other attractions on the water front.
- 5/5
It works well with a big group as there are many places close by to walk to and enjoy.
- 4/5
We had 2 rooms but they put us on separate floors. Our rooms thermostat was broken so the room was cold. But it was a big room and very clean and I would stay there again. Oh, also shuttle hotel arranged never showed up to get us but I had arranged something else on my own as I did not trust their "system".
- 3/5
The location is great! Unfortunately, our room’s a/c thermostat was broken and could not be fixed during our stay so nights were a bit hot. Also, there seem to be a shortage of towels. We had to call for towels every night and one day we only received ONE towel for the 4 of us. Besides that, it is a clean hotel and a great location.
- 4/5
Great location and view. Beds were very comfortable. The only thing I disliked was the bathroom but overall I would stay here again!
- 5/5
The location is great! The staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Is in a good location and the lime bikes out front make getting around the city super easy. Room was clean and nice. Parking is also secure under the hotel so you don’t have to worry about people breaking into your car at night.
- 1/5
Dirty,
- 5/5
Amazing views, amenities, and close to Pike's Place Market
- 5/5
Nice hotel... Near so many things you can walk to which is nice. Great stay.
- 3/5
Parking garage a night mare… checking in and out had to wait for security
- 5/5
Great and clean hotel
- 5/5
Awesome!
- 3/5
Everything is close and comfortable beds and room too many extra costs.
- 3/5
Beds were comfortable and room was vlean
- 3/5
It took a long time to check in. We then get a key to a room that had a man inside it. Went back to the front desk and the attendant played it like it was no big deal. It was me and my two daughter - it is a big deal. Ended up getting another room but the experience was not pleasant at all.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 4/5
It's a nice hotel in a good location. They rarely have enough checkin staff the four times I've been there but the wait isn't too bad. Rooms have been redone and are nice. The restaurant was being remodeled so breakfast is a $35 buffet in a kinda weird space. Parking is $100/night.
- 4/5
…
- 5/5
Hotel was
- 5/5
It was a great property to be able to walk to different locations nearby. All the staff were very friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
Very nice rental…clean!!
- 2/5
The maintenance of this property is horrible. It used to feel so high end, but now from the lobby to the rooms they clearly have given up.
- 5/5
The hotel is clean and quiet. Staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. It has easy parking in the garage (for a fee), is within walking distance of many attractions, convenient pickup/dropoff for ride share, and within a few blocks of the train station.
- 5/5

- 2/5
Paid extra for breakfast inclusive via Expedia, but the hotel said that there is an error and breakfast is not included in the rate. Tried to call Expedia customer service for support and help but no avail. If no issues, Expedia is good, but if there is any one-offs, Expedia is not reliable. Might not book via Expedia is any possible arrangements can get off track.
- 5/5
Of furthermore going wonderful stays to complete.
- 5/5
One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The location was convenient and it was clean and very quiet.. The staff could not have been nicer, and that includes the people at the restaurant on floor 5.
- 4/5
The staff did not give accurate information about the hot cider, though. There was complimentary cider in the lobby and, when it wasn't there, they'd say that it would be available at 3p. By 5p if it wasn't there, they'd say that it was seasonal and that it had gone away for the Spring and that it would return in the Autumn, only for it to turn up the very next day. If you're not sure, just say that you're not sure. That's a better answer than giving out inaccurate information!
- 2/5
The Hilton was nothing special. Money hungry hotel with all of the fees. They charge a $25 daily fee for guests to enjoy water in the lobby.. or fruit which was rarely out. The fee also includes a “free” welcome beverage and $15 off a meal from their restaurant..what a joke. The room was nice and the staff were friendly but other than that did not enjoy the stay. Would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Hotel was very convenient and clean. The staff was just ok. Over all the hotel is nice, I would stay here again.
- 3/5
Expensive parking
- 5/5
Took the train out for a night to celebrate 10 years of being best friends! It’s my second time staying and I won’t stay anywhere else! Great hotel and staff, perfect location!
- 3/5
Not a bad hotels, clean and good service. However, charging $25 a day in destination fee... Not sure for what? No pool or even a decent gym. It's showing real signs of wear and tear.
- 3/5
It was close to downtown and easy to get around.
- 2/5
Thermostat didn’t work, bathroom sink didn’t drain properly, overall a very average hotel.
- 2/5
Additional charges were a lot
- 5/5
The staff was super informative and very kind!
- 3/5
The front door staff were average.
- 5/5
Location is great, close to downtown, shopping, and other attractions
- 5/5
good
- 5/5
Great location, clean and safe
- 5/5
It was a mother/daughter getaway. We had a great time and appreciated the easiness it was to check in so late. The extra hot apple cider and water was great!!
- 5/5
The Motif is an upscale property, with great amenities. The staff is friendly and professional.
- 4/5
We had a lovely quiet stay! Very convenient location
- 5/5
Loved everything about this place. And the staff were great, especially Kyler!!
- 3/5
Checkin counter service needs to be improved. I'm a foreigner and it's hard to pick up words if people speak too fast. I did ask multiple times, but I still didn't get some stuff unclear. Gave up understanding, cause it's tiring, but if I were working there, I'd do differently.
- 5/5
Very walkable area, lot's of great places to eat and see within walking distance. The waterfront is just a 10 minute walk. The hotel is not too fancy, but it’s good for a night or two. I would stay here again because of the location and price.
- 5/5
Wonderful visit. Great location to fun things.
- 5/5
This hotel is in a great central downtown location just an easy walk to Pike Market, shopping, multiple restaurants. Large spacious rooms with lobby market and full service restaurant- will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Wow! Awesome staff and very kind staff. If you’re on the higher floors, be prepared to wait going down the elevators, if they only have one side of the elevators going.
- 3/5
Parking fee is high. Resort fee is high. Apple cider (winter) is included as benefit for the resort fee that you pay daily, but apple cider is not always available. $10 food and beverage credit can not cover one breakfast
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Staff was very nice hotel was very clean. Only issue was that there was an elevator issue where there was a long wait to get on on the last day of my travel. Hotel was aware of the issue and was currently working on it to fix the problem
- 5/5
Walkable to pikes place market and in a central location.
- 3/5
We’ve stayed at this property several time. It’s gone through multiple renovations. Its current design does not feel inviting. The room we got was on the top floor and was about the size of a large walk in closet. They nickel and dime everything. We asked for an hour later check out time because our flight wasn’t until 11:00 pm at night. Charged us $25… for one hour! On our bill it was listed as an early check in fee. When did this become a thing? I always thought if you get to your hotel early and your room was ready great. If it wasn’t you waited. Now they charge you for that?
- 1/5
Never get back to this hotel
