DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Seattle Airport - Southcenter

This hotel is my go to for staying near the airport and south center when traveling with my family. It has large comfortable rooms that sleep multiple people, it’s clean and safe and easy to navigate.

Location was perfect for our grandson’s soccer tournament. Pool need a lot of repair and cleaning.

Decent property some stuff helpful

Although the hotel did not have microwaves in the rooms, we were able to request one during our stay, which was a convenient option. The location was excellent, with many stores, restaurants, and local attractions nearby, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area.

Nice big room and comfortable bed Room next to noisy outdoor aircon units. Ran all night and had terrible sleep. Asked to be booked for airport shuttle but got missed off the list and no seats available when we had to leave for the airport

Great location for the hotel close to the airport but right next to a great mall with lots of food options and things to do. I highly recommend this hotel to other travelers. Whenever I travel again to Seattle I will definitely book here again.

The room Is quite large and clean. The front desk staff is very straight forward. They are doing there job. The stairs going to the front door were filthy, there was vomit by the entry for the whole day. Overall for the area, it was a good place to stay for a couple of days. Also it is a safe and secure place. There was no people loitering.

The staff was excellent, the pool was great and the buffet was delicious. The pull out sofa I slept on so the kids didn't was one of the worst nights of sleep of my life. My family however used the twin beds and loved them. For a hotel you'd think it would be super comfortable or offer basic Inflatable beds I'd zomedht.

The property was spotless, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. It is a little outdated but didn’t really bother us at all. Rooms were also sound proof so the neighbors didn’t bother us at all. Loved how they gave us a few complimentary drinks and cookies while we checked in. We also loved how check out time was 12 p.m. Our stay over all was great.

Comfortable room with good restaurants close by, and the hotel had good food options in the lobby restaurant as well. Everything was clean and comfortable. The free airport shuttle was very useful, and they let me store my bags at no charge and took me to the airport after the checkout time.

The place seemed old but with price and the service not at par to other older hotels. Kudos!!

Negatives: SOUND! The walls are very thin, and people next door were loud til 1am. Heads of beds both on the same wall, so no way to sleep while they were up! The shuttle was convenient, but pickup was frustrating - I took the shuttle from the airport to the wrong Doubletree, and it wasn't mentioned there are 2, with different shuttles! Going to the airport, the desk clerk told me to wait inside, that the driver would get me, but at 2 mins before departure, I realized the shuttle was outside about to leave, and nearly missed it!

Not as busy as the Airport DoubleTree, but clearly the same level of service and maintenance.

Breakfast was good but didn't start till 7 am. Water in my room was $6 for two bottles that came from a $5 Costco case.

What we enjoyed were the cleanliness and location. We felt safe and every concern we had was quickly taken care of. Also very comfortable for family and I’d stay again without or with the kids!

It is convenient to Seattle highways and close to restaurants and shopping.

Only issue I had was someone started yelling at 6am(sounded like cheating spouse). It got stopped pretty quickly but just couldn’t give 5 stars due to that, would definitely stay again, very convenient, nice place.

The staff elevates this hotel which is starting to show signs of age. It’s one of the few hotels in the South Center area that offers an airport shuttle service, There is a limited service Starbucks affiliate in the lobby that opens at 6 am.

Loud, homeless people in lobby with the cops, jacuzzi broken and out of service when asked about before booking was told the jacuzzi and pool area were open and working. I chose this place because of the jacuzzi. Bed was terrible, room was decent. Staff was good.

Walls were super thin could hear other people’s conversations, and got woke up to someone peeing in a room next to us because it was so loud then the same person slammed their doors for who knows why but shook the photo frames on our wall though they would fall off. Hot tub was about as warm as a baby bath got cold the longer you sat. Wish the smoking area was farther from the front entrance as you walk in you walk thru huge stinky smoke clouds.

The staff here is amazing, from Amir the shuttle bus driver, who came when he said he would be there, the dispatcher who was very respectful of my hearing problems over the phone, Steve who checked us in was very polite and respectful and was able to get us a late checkout. Our room was very spacious for the price. I highly recommend this hitel

Everything was not like a “Hilton” entity Room was clean and bed was comfy but the staff member who checked us in was a real jerk. I’ll never go back to this particular hotel.

Nice hotel, large room overall but very small bathrooms with the sink OUTSIDE the actual bathroom itself. Tub and toilet are crammed tightly into a very small room. Claustrophobic guests would have to use the lobby bathroom, but no idea where they would shower. I guess the pool?

They was very good and understanding during my stay. Only thing is I couldn't find trash bags in my room and when I was trying to talk to house keeping they didn't know much English so it was hard but not a big deal. Would be somewhere I would stay again if visited the area again.

And to the incredibly kind waitress at NW Landing, I am so sorry we did not catch her name, Annie or Abby I think. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. She was genuinely warm and attentive, and it made our dining experience even better. It is clear this hotel has built a team that truly cares about their guests. Excellent service like this makes all the difference, and my family and I are already looking forward to our next stay!

Unfortunately the small children upstairs screamed for long periods and ran up and down the corridor or room for several hours when we’d had a long flight and wanted to rest. Convenient Westfield shopping mall across the road.

Our room smelled terrible! It was an awful sour smell and ruined the stay.

Their jacuzzi and sauna are not working. This is a very old hotel not expecting and would not consider as a 4 star hotel. Staff are not friendly. They don’t even smile or greeted you at all. The door in our room is all chipped. Not something I will come back and booked again.

Great overnight stay at the Doubletree.The airport shuttle pickup was quick and efficient. The front desk experience good (particularly the warm cookie). We smelled weed in our room all night from another bedroom. And it set off our alarm in bedroom around 10pm. Bery loud. Woke us up. We had small kids with us. We actually wnding leaving hotel at 11pm become I didnt want me kids breathing in weed smell for hours

I’ve been staying at the Double Tree at Tumwater for the last three years. I feel like the customer experience has really gone downhill. Everything is an upsell. You pay $20 a night for parking now in just a parking lot. I was charged $3 each for Kirkland brand water bottles that I didn’t even realized were being added onto the room fee until it was too late. The hot tub was broken (it was broken last year). And the insult to injury was the over priced bland breakfast buffet ($30 a person) where there is no where that advertised a price, because I wasn’t given a menu when I came in.

About parking i have to pay separate which is not mentioned when we booked plus taxes. Which is 20 % crazy they charge us for water which we never drink from there. Overall experience was horrible never think about to book with double tree by hilton again.

The rooms were nice and big and clean and the beds were comfortable. We were not aware it was $20 for parking a night but, the biggest disappointment was their charging of breakfast. We were there with a team and some of the families were not charged for each person while others were. Very unfortunate that I will think twice the next time knowing this.

The Check-in was terrible and took 45 minutes because Expedia didn't send the reservation over. The clerk had to re-create the reservation and i stood there a long time while he fumbled around..

It's difficult to give a lot of feedback as we were only in the room for about four hours due to flight delays. The room seemed clean and we slept comfortably for those few hours. The bathroom was clean and very spacious. Our shuttle driver was very sweet and friendly.

My room was clean and inviting. They are now my go to Hotel when visiting the Seattle area!

The only major problem we had was returning to airport via shuttle. The shuttle guy never came in and told anyone he was there and then he just pulled away. He hadn’t checked his lists to see if people were there. Desk called him before he left driveway but he wouldn’t return so it cost us 35.00 for u er to make our flight. Disappointing end to our stay.

My sister and I booked this hotel last minute due to travel issues, and were pleasantly surprised by the price, convenience, and helpfulness of the staff.

the check in process was smooth, the room was large and our family of 5 were very comfortable. The only problem was the shower drain was not working well resulting in ankle deep water. We called the front desk to report it and although it took a little while, they called to say a plumber was coming. We were in the process of leaving but the front desk gave us a courtesy discount for the inconvenience. i would stay at this hotel in the future.

Lobby furniture was a sore eye considering the price to stay here. The pool hot tub was not working. The room had a moldy smell, garbage behind the bedroom tv stand, and the coffee pouch was still there from the previous visitor. Will not ever consider staying at any double tree ever again.

We are local and booked our family of 4 for a 1 night get away. We booked a king room. They allowed early check in. When we got to the rooom the bed was a queen. (We have a king at home and are certain of the size). I asked the front desk to please move us to a room with a king like we booked. She insisted that the bed in our room was indeed a king. Bed size is very important as our toddler sleeps with us. They would no move us and insisted it was king sized. Check in was unprofessional: one employee was hanging on to the other. Faint smell of musty carpet and cigarettes. The pool (the main reason we booked - family pool time) was murky and gross. The hot tub jets were broken. And there was a polyamory expo going on while we were there. All in all, poor experience. Would not recommend to anyone.

This was a perfect place for a quick stop in Seattle. Staff were friendly and the bed/room was comfy and spacious. Close to a major shopping centre with everything you could want. We would definitely stay again. Plus the free airport shuttle was awesome.

We originally went to the other DoubleTree Airport hotel (apparently a common mistake) but were quickly offered a shuttle to the correct one. This hotel is very dated but clean and the rooms are huge.

Bed sheets smelt like perfume, the beds were broke and sank in the middle. Charging usb port on desk was broke. Tv options had poor selections. Most hotels these days allow you to login in to at least Netflix on the tv.

It was a nice, comfy room. I was disappointed in the fact that their pool & hot tub was closed for maintenance. I picked this hotel for that reason. None the less, I enjoyed a couple beers at thr bar.

Disappointed by any hotel charging a fee for outside parking in an open lot without security and then warning not to leave anything in your car because it is not safe. ?

Elevators smelled like smoke. Asked for room service and she made the bed but didn’t change the sheets. Hair on countertops and uncomfortable beds.

We stayed for supercross. Quick drive to the stadium, great location. The mall is within walking distance. Hot tub was out of service, otherwise a great stay!

This was a good airport option - just be careful when booking - it's NOT the Doubletree right near SeaTac. It's down in Southcenter. I made this mistake when I booked via phone on the tarmac after landing in SeaTac. Two other separate people on the shuttle were also mismatched with their bookings. Other than that, it was nice, staff was friendly and the room was clean, quiet, and fine.

Nice pool for kids

Was really disappointed that the hot tub was shut down body was hurting do to my health would of helped thats 1 reason I picked double tree always had a good stay on traveling staying at double trees and no laundry rooms

The stuff is so nice and amazing

Wanting to make sure there was a pool and hot tub, we called ahead and asked. Without hesitation they said yes. Upon arrival the hotel was nice and the staff were friendly. Once settled in we went to explore. I couldn’t wait to see the hot tub. When we went to the pool and hot tub area there was a sign that said out of order until further notice. The hot tub was empty and full of construction debris. It looked like it had been broken for a while. The pool was dirty and had a film on it. We didn’t even let the kids swim. When I asked the staff I was told it was working. When I mentioned the sign I was told it would be checked into. They called back and said it was broken and they had no time as to when it would be fixed. When I told them how upsetting that was as I had called before booking to make sure and I was told yes. Nothing was done to make it right. For the staff to not let us know when we called was not ok. One of the elevators was out of service which made getting to the 6th floor slow and cumbersome. The bathroom in our room was also dirty and the tub did not drain and filled as you showered. I would not stay at this DoubleTree location ever again.

Large rooms, with technically two areas. Paid parking, but if you're smart, you can get around that. Close to good restaurants.

Very nice

Love the walking distance to the mall, and how peaceful and ease the hotel was! Room was great had an slight odd smell but not so bad at all! Appreciated the staff too very chill and hospitable!

Fantastic stay

Perfect stay for our family.

The room is comfortable and next time we hope to stay longer so we can enjoy their nice pool, gym and sauna. We were informed we paid for a breakfast (though we didn't, as we were leaving at 5:30am) but they said we did and would request a breakfast box to be ready when we checked out. Upon arriving at 5:33 to leave for the airport, they did not have the box ready. They hurried to get it, and it was an apple, bagel (cream cheese), small thing of granola and a water. If you have a choice, don't pay for this. The room is dated and furniture has some stains on it. The Bar area is very loud and we could hear it in our room even though we were a number of floors up. The biggest improvement they could make is updating the TV to allow for streaming services. The area is convenient if you want to do some shopping or go to some restaurants and it is about 10 min from the airport.

Great staffs. Easy access, close to pretty much everywhere. Everything else was great.
