I originally booked through Expedia without any issues, but when I needed to extend my stay, I booked the additional nights directly through the hotel. Because of events happening in town, the rate skyrocketed, and the cost of my room nearly quadrupled by the middle of the week. I understand rates can fluctuate, but it was extremely frustrating to pay around $400 a night for this level of service. To make matters worse, our room keys constantly stopped working. We had to make multiple trips to the front desk to have them reprogrammed, which became a daily inconvenience. On top of that, the hotel advertised a “free breakfast,” but when we went to the restaurant, we found out it wasn’t included at all and started at $22 per person. Between the overpriced valet parking, inflated room rates, repeated key card issues, and misleading breakfast information, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I expected much better service and value for the price and would not choose to stay here again

The Concierge was really rude I asked about checking in granted I was early but the way the attendant spoke to me was horrible, she gave me attitude for asking questions saying I needed to wait which was fine I just didnt like how she responded. Then I was seeing her give other people rooms after us while we were still waiting. I called customer service and asked for a room and why others were going in before me even though they got there much later than I. The customer service rwp on the phone called the front desk as I was at the lobby so they new it was me that was calling and while I was on the phone waiting for the agent the Concierge person who was rude to me came over and gave me a room key. No smile no word, just turned around and walked off. That was really rude horrible customer service at the front desk

I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking to do any additional fun activities especially returning from cruising.

Spacious room, modern facilities and great location Not about the property itself but upon checking in, we were told we get 20 dollars per night credits to redeem if we dined in. We thought we would take advantage of it and dined in the night before leaving Seattle. Food was actually very good so we don’t regret but upon checking out, we were told we actually wouldn’t qualify for 20 dollars. This is frustrating, the staff who checked us in should have double checked before telling us that and we probably wouldn’t have dined in (we didn’t regret though as the food was tasty but this felt a little cheeky to get us to dine in).

Friendly front desk, customer oriented. Great restaurant, had fish and chips, cooked to perfection! Crispy fries not greasy! Homemade tartar sauce,fabulous! Breakfast is from a menu, again fabulous, generous portions. Rooms are huge, roomy bathroom.with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, make up remover, body lotion and hand wash in full sized containers. Comfy beds and linens,with more than enough pillows! Slept very well. Large windows view of the city. Quiet surroundings ,scenic view. Coffee maker in the room, small refrigerator, desk, love seat, desk, chair, side table with plenty of room with all the stylish furniture. I have a trip returning to Seattle next month and will be staying here again. Not yet

We stayed at the Crown Plaza the night before boarding a cruise ship to Alaska. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Seattle which makes it walkable to many attractions. Eric at the front desk was very kind and helpful at check in. The elevator system is high tech and took a little time to get use to, but we figured it out. Parking fee is high but expected in a City with little to no parking. The view from our room was amazing- we enjoyed our stay.

Clean, modern and comfortable. Good enough location, but is at the top of the hills if you are planning to explore on foot. They charged us for breakfast that we didn’t have, luckily we asked for our bill and noticed it, otherwise the charge was just put on our card without explanation. Managed to get it sorted but isn’t great.

The location was good for walking to the places we wanted to see and the baseball game. It was very clean and comfortable

Close to Pike Market and the Cruise Terminal. Breakfast is expensive with not much choices. Some people are smoking marijuana on the streets close to the hotel like it’s nothing. With the price I pay, I could have stay to someplace more comfortable.

We enjoyed our brief stay at the Crowne Plaza. The room was clean, well appointed with a pleasant city view and the staff were accommodating with early check in and directions to the Space Needle via the monorail.

The hotel was centrally located. Easy to access transportation, shops, dining, tourist attractions. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Rooms were large, roomy, clean, and modern. Would definitely book here again.

Everything was really good. We got a handicap room and that was kind of a pain. There was only 1 towel for someone to dry off from a shower. But other then that it was really good places to stay.

good value location to allow you to explore Seattle and relatively close to the light rail system to allow you to travel further without car (including SEA-TAC Airport). Downtown Seattle is relatively hilly though so you may need to plan for that.

It was great except that the cleaning person on the 18th floor didn't remove food left by other guests in the ice machine closet. There were stacks of pizza boxes with half eaten food and other plates of food near the ice machine. I was concerned it could attract rodents. Generally, everything else was great.

Nice view of the city from my room! Room was next to the elevator which made it a bit noisy. They let me check in early so can’t complain too much.

Once I got used to the secure elevators the rooms, I found the extra safety to be appreciated. The location was very good. Not bad walks to the waterfront and all the sites in downtown Seattle.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff and server at the restaurant were helpful and friendly. There were enough choices for breakfast. The airconditioning in our room was loud and ran every few minutes, although we did not check the setting. Using the elevator seemed confusing to most guests, thankfully we’re familiar with it but it would be nice if it’s explained better to new customers.

From the moment you park, to the restaurant they have, front desk to housekeeping the staff and the place is exceptional. 10/10 location is immaculate. Definitely coming back!

Room was on 32nd floor and beautiful with a big window. Bed and furniture very comfortable, shower and bath a delight. Wifi free and adequate. The breakfast was the only part of the stay we found overpriced. A free small continental breakfast would have been a nice gesture.

Flew in very late. Arriving past midnight. Front desk clerk was absolutely phenomenal. Came to Seattle for a cruise, picked this hotel due to how close it is to the port. The hotel provided info on a shuttle to the port as well as from the airport to the hotel. Was on the 27th floor and the view was awesome. Would book this hotel without any hesitation.

Perfect for what we were looking for, extremely near downtown, but it is five or six blocks uphill from all the main areas back to the hotel so you will get your steps and flights in. Other than that, the hotel was perfect.

After celebrating the life of my Aunt who passed away, I returned back to the hotel to the valet parking lot and was not provided service by a staff member. The staff member ignored me and then provide service till after one of his colleagues open the door for other residents, and I asked if someone was covering valet he pointed to the individual that refused to help me and then that person stood up and walked over to provide assistance. That is the reason I gave four stars to the staff because aall other staff members at that facility are excellent.

Room was clean and staff were very pleasant, good amenities in the room & a great view. Elevators are direct to floor, which is very nice. Parking was a nightmare. We arrived and were instructed to circle the block, as they were understaffed in valet and there was nobody to park the vehicle. After circling, finding a spot to pull over, we waited 30 minutes before someone was able to assist us. Very frustrating after a multiple hour drive to get there, and having prepaid parking. Would have been better to pay for an overnight spot elsewhere.

Room was big, clean and beds top. Good and fresh Breakfast. Hotel position for sightseeing ideal. Friendly and helpful staff. Little bit noisy from the highway.

One thing to note: there’s a wall switch that unexpectedly turns off the power to the outlets. It caught us off guard, so just be aware of it. Otherwise, a solid stay.

Hotel is in a great location for seeing all the major activities in downtown Seattle. Can take the light rail from the airport to about 3 blocks from the hotel. And use Lime scooters to get around everywhere. Staff was fantastic. Breakfast is/was too expensive so I would suggest plan accordingly. I would happily stay here again in the future.

Initial parking for valet service is a bit challenging due to limited street parking, but once you can park and leave it for valet service it’s great! Rooms are clean and beds are so comfortable! Late evening snacks in the restaurant are really good and Phillip provided excellent service. Definitely a great choice if you want to enjoy the market, pier, and baseball or football!

This was a great hotel overall. Clean and well taken care of with helpful and friendly staff. If you take the light rail into Seattle, be prepared for steep uphill walk to get to the hotel. There are great restaurants within a few minutes walk. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant, so I can't review that. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place with a wonderful view!

Room was spacious and clean. It is located on a hill, so if you plan on walking, be prepared. Check in was fast and the employee was very nice to walk us to the elevator and showed us how the keycards worked with the elevators. It was a short walk to Pioneer Square and Pike Place, and conveniently located by the light rail station.

It’s conveniently located close to the downtown area, with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby, which made getting around and finding things to do very easy. Decent hotel. HVAC is low wall unit with wall thermostat. Just a little noisy. No problem hearing TV but noticeable at times at night. Lots of room. Shows a little age. Few things in my room were noted: bundle of sheets left on window sill, light bulb loose, one of the headboard lights was missing, the ice bucket was full of water. Slight road noise as most rooms overlook fwy. Great location. Restaurant looked nice (I didn't use), Got a great deal so I would stay again if the price was right.

Our room was large and comfortable. However, we were across from the elevator bank, which makes an announcement any time someone wants to use the elevator. Late night and early morning that was irritating. The restaurant had very nice breakfasts - lots of options and all the food was good. Hotel staff were great - check in was quick and easy. A billing problem at check out was easily resolved. I would stay here again when in Seattle.

Great breakfast with attentive, friendly staff. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of several attractions and just a short walk from the Link Light Rail. We took the Link Light Rail to and from SeaTac Airport to the University stop and walked to the hotel from there—very convenient and stress-free travel!

I was a little disappointed in the dining hours.. I understand timing.. But when there is an event near by, I think the restaurant should consider special hours for service..

I was there two nights. Our room was in front of the elevators. There are several rooms of elevators at location. The design is not ideal. That said I really like the hotel. Next time I’ll make sure my room is not near the elevators.

A wonderful experience overall. Eric was most hospitable and gave us the best room possible on the top floor. We were very pleased with our tay, especially for the price point. Pro tip. Get the parking included in your room, you will save money and are guaranteed a spot. The location is a 10 min walk to Pike Place and all shopping downtown. Many fabulous restaurants all within minutes from the hotel.

Staff very accomodating, big room and comfortable. Bedding not put back very nicely and bath mat a bit tired and looked a bit stained. Restaurant charges a service fee which was unexpected.

The staff was initially ambiguous regarding their early check in policies, there is a “ first come first serve “ policy I personally have not encountered when traveling, staff stated thy would notify when the room was ready, however upon returning to the property 5 hours post arrival it appeared they were going to provide the “ ready “ room to a patron under said policy. I did not receive the “ ready room “ notification until an hour after I had already procured my room key. The room itself was located parallel to the elevator which became a nuisance due to foot traffic. The overall property was well kept, updates are welcoming.

Unassuming from the outside, but can’t be beat in terms of quality for the price point. Central location, great bar with delicious food. Only con, no room service, but otherwise far exceeded my expectations! Would highly recommend!

The king size bedroom was good size, very clean and modern. The bed was comfortable.The bathroom was very well maintained and the cleaning service was exceptional. There were some water pressure and temperature changes taking shower. The staff members at the front desk were friendly, attentive and helpful. The only thing that was somewhat inconvenient was their elevator service that was programmed to stop only on the floor where the room was located. We had to go back to the lobby every time when we needed to go on the floor where our friends were staying and they needed to come to the lobby and use their card to take us to their room. On one hand it is very good from the security point of view, but on the other hand for us it was annoying. It is possible to go straight down to the lobby, or restaurant without using cards. The hotel provides free bottles of water and coffee maker, but no items accept shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap and hair dryer were provided in the bathroom. It is convenient that the staff calls the taxi service. We did not use their parking services. The breakfast is not included, but $20 credit is given every day for eating in their restaurant. The buffet breakfast is very good with hot food, breakfast pastries and breads, several kinds of fruit, vegetables, juices, yogurts, and meats. The hotel is located close to the freeway so traffic noise is noticeable. It is a walking distance to places of interest, shopping and restaurants, the area is safe.

There was a good amount of options for breakfast which was great! Even with buffet there were some really nice servers to give it a nice feel. Very lovely, I recommend choosing Crowne plaza!

My first time staying here, the staff was incredibly generous. The room was spotless and offered a fantastic view of the Space Needle. I highly recommend paying for the parking; it was worth it. We attended a Mariners game and opted for an Uber instead of driving, which was convenient.

The front desk people were SO kind and amazing. Personable, friendly, hilarious and immediately welcoming. Our room was clean and very nicely styled. The beds were very comfortable and the PILLOWS WERE SO MUCH NICER THAN USUAL!! the bedding was soft and didn’t feel like the usual stiff and scratchy hotel bulk sheets. highly recommend, and the location cannot be beat!

We loved this hotel… Everything about it; safe location, proximity to Pike Place Market and downtown restaurants/coffee shops, great restaurant on site, e-bike racks nearby, friendly/helpful staff, on site parking (for a fee but worth it) and very clean and comfy rooms. We plan to stay here each time we return to Seattle.

Great staff, fantastic breakfast buffet and service, good sized room and nice amenities. The only issue was that our room was located facing the noisy freeway. When we mentioned this issued, they kindly changed our room to face the city side of the hotel.

The staff were great, but the room was not 100% clean when we arrived. There was a random gummy bear on the rug, dirt on the floor, and a tissue in the wastebasket.

Very nice room

Staff are helpful and friendly at this gorgeous, modern hotel. We stayed in a King Suite on the 10th floor on a Saturday night, and the room was very comfortable and quiet. Bathroom had a full sized bathtub too. The soaps provided smelled great and did not irritate my skin.

Bathroom was not very clean had hair all over the floor. The bath tub had black hair all over the curtain. You can hear the people above you flush toilets and walking around. Behind the bed looks like it has not been vacuumed in a while. It was ok we have stayed at very nice hotels so if you are looking for one that has a nice view this would be your best bet. But cleanliness was not there.

We went from the 15h floor which was stunning in itself, to the 32nd floor with the view of the space needle that we had purchased originally for the other three nights. The rooms are clean, smell good and I can’t say enough great things about the staff!! Especially T! I will be returning here next time I’m back!

Great room with a very comfortable bed. Was only 2 blocks from the parade route. Lots of local bars and sites within walking distance.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. Room was very clean and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. Location is central to all sites and walking distance to light rail and buses for easy travel around town. Would stay here again!

Standard hotel stay except for the very expensive dinner. Prices were high enough but then they added 10 percent sales tax, 10 percent Food tax and 18 percent service charge. After that the credit card machine suggested 18,20, or 22 percent tip.

The staff was nice and attentive. The only thing I didn’t like was the house keeping when they cleaned my room they did not leave an extra roll of toilet paper and the free water bottles they leave for you one of the bottles was open.

Where do i start about this stay? 🤔first off, the front desk weren't as friendly, they werent willing to listen to questions you wanna ask. the door to the room wasn't secured when it suppose to. A stranger can get in and out of the room without the door card. Never seen that before. Anyway got it to be fixed after all. And formost of all this experience was that, the parking attendants were so beyond rude. They have no respect to the customers let alone their jobs. I think the hotel should definitely look into their staff especially the parking attendants. Also, i dont think the parking price is fair, i think this should be looked at also, some of the room parts were not as clean. The price to the hotel is unfair and confusing, which i have to call and ask about the pricing i got charged. Overall, i will not come back to this hotel with everything gone wrong to this stay.

Super friendly staff at the front desk and in the restaurant, and a very clean room. Whoever runs this hotel also pays attention to small details like the cleanliness of the air vent in the bathroom. It was the cleanest I've seen in any hotel. Also the bedding seems to use more natural fibers which really helps to have a great sleep.

We arrived late on Sunday, December 14 (around 9:30 PM) and were placed in a room with fruit flies flying around and landing in our food. When we contacted the front desk, we were initially told the hotel was fully booked and we could not be moved. We were offered a scent spray, which I declined due to asthma. After expressing that we would need to find another hotel if the issue couldn’t be resolved, a manager finally moved us to a different room. The manager was kind, but we were confused and frustrated since we had been told no other rooms were available. Unfortunately, the second room had issues as well. The refrigerator was not working, and later the lights began flickering, which made us feel unsafe. We were told engineering had already left and nothing could be done. My husband unplugged the refrigerator, which stopped the flickering. I also contacted corporate and was told I would receive a call back, which never happened. The manager did comp breakfast the next day, and the remainder of the stay was mostly fine. However, on our last day our key cards were unexpectedly deactivated, causing difficulty accessing our room. While some managers tried to help, inconsistent communication and maintenance issues significantly impacted our experience. Overall, the stay averaged 2.5–3 out of 5.

The hotel is at the top of the hill on 6th Ave. and I really thought we would hear more traffic noise but I had no problem sleeping.

We arrived and found out that parking was not included and that you have to do valet. So we did Valet for one night and we have now been charged 3 times for it. One of these charges happening almost a week after we left this hotel. While the manger was great in helping us with the car trouble and giving us the expedia price as it wasn't listed on expedia as no parking included, but to keep charging us over and over again despite that fee being already paid for on the first day makes this place not worth it to me as this tells me they like to sneak in hidden fees hoping you won't notice.

The Front desk People were absolutely wonderful. We were about to leave after we checked out and I realized that I had left my cane in the room. I went to the front desk and they were able to get me a key and into the room really fast and I came back down just as my cab came. I will stay at a hotel who hires people like that again!!!!

Clean room

I ate breakfast on the last day. It was fresh but expensive. I had avocado toast and bacon and a boiled egg. The heating went out one night but when reported it was promptly taken care of. I called front desk a couple of times and was either left on hold for over 15 minutes or no one picked up the phone.

Lobby, desk staff, valet, room, hotel restaurant, and location were all great. Only issue was the room across the hall was having a very fun and loud party and it took us reporting it 2 times an hour apart to get it resolved, but it did eventually quiet down. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Everything was great except that there was no complimentary breakfast. I went to go and get some breakfast and the hostess told me it was $27.99/person for the buffet. I wasn’t even able to get any coffee for free. Other than that everything was amazing. Oh and elevators are so cool.

Could not check in even 10 minutes early, had to wait until exactly 4 when there is a line of people waiting, couldn’t pay for early check in. AC unit was loud and vibrates, wakes you up. Walls and doors are thin, can hear every conversation in halls and the person in the adjacent room going to the bathroom.

They have a restaurant too at 2nd floor which was great because some resto close early. Staff members are super nice,, lobby is spacious they got water and lemonade water,, you can buy some snacks too and drinks at the lobby and they have microwave and utensils just in case you brought food home from walking outside. Overall amazing stay, i super loved it,, gonna consider going here again if i visit seattle again

Staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and the location was close to many amenities and interstate but very steep hills to and from. The drawbacks were the bed and pillows were not very comfortable and the soundproofing was horrible, we frequently heard sound from the hall and the neighboring rooms using their restrooms. We are unlikely to stay here again.

Yes, to "spotless" (the room) and Yes to the many courteous staff members we encountered during our stay. Our room was comfortable as well as roomy, with a great view of downtown Seattle. Brooke, when not attending to other customers in the lounge, was especially informative about the city, answering our many questions (we both worked downtown at one time). Valet parking was easy. All in all, very happy with our stay at the Crown Plaza Seattle.

I cannot underscore the sentimental value of that blanket, which was passed down by family and which my son slept with every night since a baby. It is the only piece of property that my son is genuinely attached to. Needless to say, he and my wider family have been very upset since it was taken and my son has been having a hard time sleeping without it. In any case, no matter what the piece of personal property is, it is unacceptable for hotel staff to take guests' property of any kind from their rooms. To make matters worse, the hotel's response was disrespectful: they did not care, were dismissive, unresponsive, unhelpful, and/or rude (I called several times and spoke to 10 people including Shawn Schulze, sschulze@cphotelseattle.com). Until this month, I had so much patience and hope. Now the only thing I feel is anger/confusion about how a big-name hotel that makes so much money off guests can take something so important to us and then be rude on top of that and get away with it all (they refuse any kind of remedy).

The room had problems with the toilet and the sink was very slow draining. The shower got hot and cold over and over. There were doors that joined the rooms and you could hear the neighbor on the phone for over 1 hour

Beautiful hotel, easy in and out to all the amenities nearby. Room was perfect. Spacious, several light options through the room and comfortable beds. Shower reduces pressure occasionally but that is offset by the availability of large size shampoo/conditioner/lotion etc.

We had an excellent stay. Very convenient location, easy walking distance to pikes market, the link train station, etc. Obviously updated recently, clean and spacious.

We loved the hamburgers!! must say the mushroom burger is one of the best burgers i have ever had. large and tasty- fries great as well. so good I had it again - this time she got the regular cheese burger and ate half of it cause of the size lol. totally worth it. The valet parking is expensive, I think $65 max day. but if you're just staying a night or two is worth it for convenience and for safety of your car- we stayed 8 days, but we were gonna be mostly out and around, and 2 of those nights at a different place (airbnb near mt rainier) so for 8 days we ended up paying like 150 or something for the total valet time- not including tip which I will leave later. Also we discovered that right in front of the building entrance you can sometimes find a spot on the street which is free 8am to 8pm and some other parking conditions- overall convenient. The cons: sadly our room shared a partywall door to the room next and you could hear everything and the people staying were being super dumb loud, arguing, yelling, laughing, and crying - total bs behavior at all times, 2am 3am 6pm random times mostly at night - front desk was reached 3 times and luckily for them we tolerated it more than most would've because we were passed out otherwise I would've been calling police on this

These guys told me I had to park with the hotel. Never mentioned anything regarding a charge, then took $150 out of my deposit and said it was because I paid for parking when my intention was never to pay for their parking. Had I knew they were asking a fee for parking I would’ve just had my car parked where it was before the valet forced me to park with them. Piss poor service and company

The hotel is nicely located in downtown Seattle. It is 4 blocks from the subway. 6 blocks from the waterfront, and close to the convention center. The rooms were clean, comfortable with great views. The food in their restaurant, while not off the wall fancy was delicious, well priced and had more than ample portions. The front Desk was friendly and helpful.

This property was nice, from the friendly staff to the great views. We had a small issue with the toilet, but maintenance resolved it quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff was super pleasant. Room was quiet and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Rooms seemed recently refurbished and modern. The off season rate was amazingly inexpensive for a downtown hotel of this quality. As the case with many downtown hotels, there is very limited access for vehicles and valet parking is expensive. Although they have unlimited in/out valet parking, we choose to use Uber for our stay. There is a nice convenience store one block away as well as the on site restaurant and mini-store in the lobby. No resort fee and free use of the in room fridge. All in all, the Crowne Plaza Seattle exceeded our expectations.
