Reviews
The hotel is generally clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. However, the location is a major concern as it is in a seedy area with prostitution and homelessness. The property is also older and in need of updates.

My room smelled smoky and it smelled like someone was smoking close by my room.

Super nice staff
- 5/5
Their Breakfast was awesome, Location is Great.
- 5/5
Very friendly
- 3/5
Not too far from bus route. Check in and check out were a breeze. Bathroom didn’t look very clean especially bathtub.
- 5/5
The young man at the desk was very friendly and helpful. He was able to give me knowledge of the area and local places to try. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Minor water damage in the hallway ceiling was about the only issue I came across. I would recommend staying here and I would stay again if the opportunity arose.
- 4/5
Very nice staff. Close to restaurants and attractions.
- 1/5
Run down. Cots for beds that squeaked. No work area. Super small lobby.
- 4.5/5
Location was good. The front desk person was very nice and the room was big and very comfortable. It has option for parking without pay extra and it was clean.
- 4/5
Close to light rail and local shops and dining
- 5/5
Staff was very welcoming. Nice to us. Very professional N/A
- 3/5
Room was spacious, front desk friendly and convenient to Link Station . Breakfast was the same tired hotel stuff, very limited and neighborhood not the greatest for just strolling around but fine for driving to places.
- 4/5
We had too rooms. They were a bit on the rough side, but still plenty of space, and the beds/pillows were very comfortable.
- 3.5/5
the breakfast was really quite good but limited...with the food prices today, that is understandable.
- 5/5
The morning breakfast was delicious! Everything was incredibly clean and the room had awesome amenities. There's a ton of food and shopping options within walking distance. And super easy access to public transportation. Just take 1 bus all the way to all the touristy areas of Seattle!
- 5/5
Always a nice and peaceful stay. Wish there were more shopping and entertainment businesses around. Staff always most pleasant.
- 4/5
It’s was good , staff was very nice
- 4/5
This hotel was clean and staff was friendly. I didn’t love the location but I felt safe.
- 4/5
It's an adequate budget hotel for a few-night stay. The hotel needs some improvements, but you get what you pay for.
- 4/5
We always stay at this hotel when we visit our daughter in the area because the prices are reasonable and the property is conveniently located. We are satisfied with everything about the property...except perhaps the quality of the breakfast food. I would say this could use some improvement. But otherwise very satisfied.

Lousy
- 5/5
Live in Seattle but needed a cheap place for the night while water heater was being replaced where I live and a very nice, secure, clean hotel highly recommended. North of downtown by very easy short ride to downtown.
- 5/5
Clean, efficient, large rooms .
- 5/5
Everything you need you have it simple
- 5/5
Nice hotel, safe, good location.
- 4/5
Heater/AC unit made a loud noise when in use. If you sleep lightly it will wake you.
- 5/5
The room was superb
- 1/5
Nothing to be honest It did not smell good inside I really wish there was not anyone loud to the point you can hear them from their hotel room kitchen table was not wiped !!! We felt so grossed out
- 3/5
Only complaint is that the walls are too thin. We could hear everything from the room next door. Also the double door handle was broken but the deadbolt seemed ok. But caused me concern. Parking under the building was tight for an SUV when outside parking was full. Thanks for the stay. Jeff
- 2/5
Furniture in room was broken. Room was underwhelming. Walls were damaged, rooms not bathrooms not clean. Everything.

Filthy room
- 5/5
Was a ton bigger than expected and very comfortable
- 4/5
I really liked how cold the air conditioning went, as I was overcoming some serious overheating and so the AC was majorly helpful in cooling me down and letting me get good sleep. There was a weird hole on the top sheet on one of the beds, and also the temperature settings on the shower were incredibly touchy and hard to get the hang of but ultimately I had a good shower and slept on the other bed and so it was ok.
- 1.5/5
Nothing was liked about this stay. We arrived to the inn and had poor customer service and the parking was horrific. Spaces too tight and had columns blocking parking spaces. Lobby clean but once entered the room, the drywall was horrendous, the hallways smelled like cigarette, the bathroom door did not close, ac was funky and the bathroom had holes in the wall. Tub was yellow and water was either too hot or too cold. Overall, not worth the 300 we spent to stay here. Would not recommend to friends or stay again. The room could have been more put together. Less janky for the price that is being charged. Scamming customers. Would honestly request a half or full refund.
- 4.5/5
Breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful ? ?the handicap bathroom setup was excellent.
- 4/5
The hotel was 100% booked, but the staff worked to facilitate an early check in.
- 2.5/5
Didn't take advantage of breakfast. glad nobody could get up elevator unless they had a key card to due location. Front desk staff were nice. Location is very sketchy. This part of N. Aurora is well known as a prostitute and drug dealing area to those who live there, not to travelers who are expecting a safe place. Glad gates are installed to keep cars relatively safe but wasn't expecting to have my head on a swivel.
- 4/5
We were told it was 3 miles to T-mobile but it is about 8
- 5/5
Left before breakfast to be at Fred Hutch Cancer Center by7. Check in gal and check out gal was polite
- 5/5
Always so helpful!
- 4/5
The breakfast was good, a bit repetitive with the eggs and sausage. Bagels and toast were available. OJ went out and was not fixed after 7 days. The waffles were tasty! Room was cleaned everyday. Cold in the hallways. Location is a bit noisy on Aurora Ave. Curtains didn't black out all the way.
- 5/5
Everything, especially the staff. Pet fees per night.
- 4/5
Very
- 2/5
The front office staff was courteous and helpful. However, when the staff changed shifts, notes weren't exchanged and I had to explain issues to the new staff all over again. This hotel is definitely among the worst ComfortInn hotels I have stayed at This experience has left me feeling if I should trust hotel pictures and experiences at hotels.com

- 5/5
Great location to the hospital. I felt safe with my car being locked in at night.
- 3/5
The pillows were so small that I couldn’t sleep well. They were the size of kids pillows. The staff was trying to clean the room before it was even check out time. They were aggressively knocking on my door. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Great service
- 2/5
The breakfast had very limited options and the eggs were very rubbery.
- 4/5
Breakfast was so-so. Very secure building.
- 5/5
Clean room. Water pressure in bathroom terrrible. Staff very nice and friendly.
- 4/5
Neighborhood not the best but we didn’t have a problem
- 3/5
It’s old it needs some update
- 5/5
I enjoyed our stay. Clean room and attentive staff.
- 1/5
The hotel from the outside looks ok however when you enter it starts to get bad then going up to the room TV was to small bed was definitely used and I found blood spatter on the back of the bathroom. In the morning i went down to the fittness center which was less than desirable. Feel free to find a different hotel
- 4/5
Room is clean and staff are very nice. Breakfast included was a great bonus.
- 1/5
Area filled with prostitutes and homeless.Dirty and disgusting.
- 1/5
Would never choose this location again. In a very sketchy area. Prostitutes right outside the property. Gunshots heard. Screams heard outside. Homeless & unsavory characters all around the area.
- 4/5
The room was under lit (no lamp near the desk) and no lighting in the room aside from bed stand lamps. The housekeeping experience was odd. The first day the bed was left un-made and the room not cleaned - only the towels were replaced. The next day the maid knocked on the door even though the Do Not Disturb sign was out, but ultimately the room was fully cleaned.
- 1/5
Neighbors were loud and throwing things at the walls all hours of the night
- 3/5
Bathtub-shower knob broken… needs a complete renovation. Dirty.
- 1/5
The bathroom floods when showering and the wallpaper is peeling in there with water damage and black mold. The phone didn’t work and the lights flickered a lot. So many things were damaged in there. The staff was the best part of our experience.
- 2/5
Neighbors were really loud you can actually understand what they were saying , there was prostitutes across the street I didnt let my kids look out the window. The wallpaper in the corner of our room was coming down. When we arrived they did not have hot water took them about 2½hours to get it fixed but another family there had stated it was gone longer than that.

- 3/5
Area ws not safe. Lots of homeless people and drug users and prostitutes.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful and rooms were very clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Did not realize this was on such a busy street and probably 85% Asian ,also not many options close by for eating without an Uber, which was way over priced
- 4/5
The property was generally quiet despite being off of Aurora. The free breakfast they offered was decent. My biggest complaints would be that the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, and the coffee pot in my room only offered decaf coffee.
- 4/5
Comfort inn could have selected better position then this one , They are spoiling their image
- 3/5
The hotel was clean and updated, the staff was very friendly. The surroundings outside of the hotel property were horrible. There were prostitutes and drug users on the streets around the hotel all hours of the day. There was no place to air our dogs on the property forcing us to leave and walk on the unsafe streets. Breakfast was very sub par. Egg patties that were tasteless and spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce were the hot breakfast choices every day.
- 3/5
The breakfast was saved by the malted waffles, the rest was just meh. The neighborhood was semi-industrial, with a few workers of the world’s oldest profession plying their trade across the street from the hotel. Overall it was overpriced by at least $50 per night.
- 5/5
felt very safe and was close to lots of food options
- 5/5
Great service and breakfast. Room was clean and spacious - even had a full kitchen! Bed was comfortable. Only complaint was the area and view was not the nicest. But the hotel takes precautions and locks their parking lot at night.
- 4/5
Shortly after arriving, someone else was booked into our room. Fortunately, the deadbolt kept them from walking in on us. TV was difficult to operate. We called for assistance but they never came. We eventually figured it out. Our Lyft driver called the area “sketchy”. We didn’t know Seattle so was not aware of the area. The room itself was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
The beds were okay, and the internet was slow somehow complicated to connect
- 3/5
Downsides: the water pressure in the showers is absolutely terrible. The hotel is also located in a rough area, and on the surrounding streets you will see plenty of prostitutes, homelessness, and people on drugs. I have stayed at this hotel two times now in the space of about two years, and overall I do recommend it as a decent place to stay to be near Seattle.
- 3/5
When driving from Seattle the main road is full of prostitutes (not kidding) they weren’t even discrete. The bathroom door didn’t lock. And there was a piece of the door that broke off. Breakfast was mediocre. Staff was really nice and friendly.
- 1/5
I would not recommend staying here.
- 5/5
It was in a great location that was reasonably clise to everything we wanted to see.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
The beds were extremely comfortable
- 3/5
The staff was amazing, they were so nice and helpful. We were on the second floor, and the floor above was so squeaky that we could hear every time people walked. It would even wake us up. I'm not a fan of the homelessness around the hotel. That, however, is a city problem, not the fault of the hotel. The hotel did have a locking gate and a fence to keep the property clear of them.
- 5/5
I would use this property again but in a different location but over all i liked wear i stayed.
- 1/5
Management was rude and rooms were dirty and not upkept.
- 5/5
Lynwood is beautiful
- 5/5
The service especially the front desk was great especially Lotus. Unfortunately there was some obvious prostitution in the area that cheapened the experience. Not what we expected.
- 4/5
The property itself was nice and clean, and I booked to save a little bit of money so I can rent a car. It was great having a car, but the location was a bit sketch as there was lot of prostitutes in the area. Also confirmed this when speaking with locals from different areas. The staff at the hotel were nice and great having breakfast ready everyday. I had to run to the store later in the evening and didn’t feel like it was unsafe, but you can see the women and homeless.
- 5/5
We had a good first experience at this hotel. Happy since we will be visiting often. Surprisingly quiet. Friendly staff. Access to parking. We will be back!
- 3/5
We stayed here for a long weekend trip to Seattle. The location was great but traveling up Aurora Ave was sketchy. Lots of prostitutes between days and and Chick-fil-A, so be ready.
- 4/5
Coffee and breakfast in lobby was a plus
- 3/5
The rooms themselves are old and need to be renovated. There was paint cracking on the walls, felt very old and used. Didn’t realize the part of town this hotel is in. Very dangerous and lots of illegal activity happening all around.
- 5/5
loved our stay. It went really smooth and there’s plenty of parking. We were even able to check in an hour early.
- 2/5
Lack of toilet paper. Bathroom door will not close. The power is out and it is 91 degrees outside. When will the power come back on? Please reply to this question as soon as possible.
- 3/5
Clearly needed some work. Bathroom door wouldnt close, no doors on the cloaet.
- 1/5
This property needs to be renovated. The room that we got at first smelled like something had died in there. I went down to the office and told him that we cannot stay in these conditions so she gave me another room and that room smelled like dirty feet. The cabinets were falling apart. The drawers in the kitchen were falling apart. nothing was wiped down. The fridge also had an odor.. so we decided to go to Fred Meyer and get Blade plug-ins to make the room smell better. While we’re out, we noticed that we were in prostitution Central. Not a good place to stay if you have children.
- 4/5
Bathroom door was off kilter. You had to muscle it shut with a bang; otherwise it swung open again. Other than that, bed was comfortable and room was clean and quiet.
- 3/5
Rough area but the hotel is fine for a night.
- 4/5
Hotel was fine but neighborhood not so much
- 3/5
We decided not to stay here after all because it was in a neighborhood that seemed unsafe and was much farther from downtown than I realized.
- 4/5
It was nice enough. The area was like much of Seattle. Generally clean except for the tub.
- 3/5
Staff were great. Rundown area.
- 3/5
It was alright
- 4/5
Good place to stay. Loved the fridge & microwave in the room. Great space/roomy!
- 4/5
The hotel is in a run down area and the hotel itself is old looking and slightly musty smelling. The lighting in our room was very dim and it was hard to put on makeup because of the poor lighting in the bathroom. On the upside, everything was very clean, the staff was very helpful and so nice! Great breakfast selection too!
- 4/5
Parking was not great, spaces were small.
- 3/5
My room was my only complaint. The shower was not cleaned good and the tub stopper would not stay up, there were dirty q-tips on the floor and other trash. Did not like there were no towel racks to hang wet towels and wash cloths. Breakfast was very good and the bed was very comfortable.
- 4/5
That said, I really appreciated how accommodating the staff was overall, especially since I had informed them I’d be checking in late night 1. I would definitely consider staying here again.
- 3/5
Old
- 4/5
It was a central place but really needs upgrads
- 2/5
We booked two rooms for our out-of-town relatives. Both rooms were very spacious. However, the fridge in room 306 was not working and had mold growing inside. The air conditioning in room 307 emitted an electrical burning smell and required a power-off reset every few hours to function properly. The front desk staff were very friendly, though we were out for much of the days and didn’t report these issues during our stay.
- 5/5
Good stay
- 4/5
This hotel delivered as advertised. No frills, clean room. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
The place was ok. The room was a bit dirty, definitely didn't have a deep cleaning prior to my stay. The bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable but dated
- 4/5
Very pleasant to stay with warm staffs!
- 1/5
When we got to the room the Curtains were torn hanging by the windows the lights were not working I complained & they gave us a room even worse. We left the hotel right away & went to another. You should not deal with this hotel as it is a dump and misrepresented & I want my money returned.
- 5/5
Great place to stay for the price
- 3/5
The shower knob was old and hard to find a good temperature. Bathroom door broken. Very loud noise from some sort of compressor every few hours. Mold on the bread - black dirt on the curtain. Over sort of old and run down.
- 3/5
Staff were friendly and quick.
- 5/5
The front lady was very nice and personable
- 4/5
All good,thanks.
- 5/5
Convenient location. Nice breakfast
- 4/5
Property is conveniently located, the hotel was being renovated and rooms are in the process of being updated i assume
- 5/5
This hotel is on Aurora in North Seattle which is “colourful” but it felt totally safe and clean. The beds were super comfortable. Staff were friendly. It’s located only a short 10-15 drive to Ballard area and a little longer to downtown. I would stay here again if you just want a place to sleep and you have a car to get around.
- 3/5
It was fenced which is great considering the part of town it was in. Staff was very friendly & it was clean & quiet. Breakfast was average but good. Would recommend to others.
- 4/5
The staff were very friendly and professional.
- 1/5
when I asked the front desk they said that they are only available in the morning and it is not her problem or her Issue at this point to provide us with Towels. she advised me very rudely that I should wait till the morning and address my issue to the housekeeping instead.
- 2/5
If you like prostitutes then its a great spot. There's 1-4 of them kitty corner to the hotel all night long, and the constant flow of john's. Everything else was quite bad. My microwave did not work. My fridge did not work. The light outside my window was blindingly bright, and the blinds did not close. They did not fix my microwave In the two days that I was there. They did not switch my rooms either. The breakfast was okay, but the juice machine was heavily watered down both days. The vending machine was basically sold out both day. They also do not allow you to use the stairs on either end of the building. You must use the elevator and, you must scan your key card to use it. The lady at the front desk, who was there multiple days in a row, definitely had covid and coughed every three seconds. Extremely irresponsible to have the one person that will be interacting with every guest that comes into the hotel, coughing all over their key cards. They only set my key card for 1 day. So and the next day I was locked out of my room, and they said maintenance would come to fix the issues in my hotel and they just never did. The older lady working at the counter in the morning was very nice. I have no bad things to say about her. I feel bad she works at such a bad hotel.
- 5/5
Friendly staff.. I enjoyed my stay
- 4/5
This hotel was convenient for where I had to be in seattle. Staff was certainly very friendly and a decent breakfast served in the morning. Location a little sketchy, but we felt safe enough as it is manned and monitored 24/7.
- 3/5
Hotel was good, no issues. It’s not in the best neighborhood though.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Nice and comfortable.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Room was spacious and clean.
- 5/5
Staff was super helpful
- 1/5
There was no water pressure in shower and would not get hot unless set to the highest setting. The beds are on a metal frames that are unsafe for children especially toddlers. Our granddaughter her herself several tiles and has many bruises from them. She is 21/2 years old. Worker when we checked in was unpleasant and the breakfast was not worth eating eggs were gross and not kept enough for all guests. Fruit was spoiled and not fresh.
- 2/5
The stairwell carpets are very dirty and stained
- 5/5
Service and location excellence
- 3/5
I booked two rooms during the black out for 2 days. After checking in, i told the reception that we are checking out after first night. We didnt like the rooms and for my family with allergies, it was a big concern. The next day we check out and they still charged me for 2 nights. Booked through expedia and they didn’t help either. Disappointed with hotel and expedia.
- 5/5
It was great very quiet
- 1/5
I changed three rooms and none of the rooms had heater working. I was freezing in the middle of December. The bed and the room floor were terribly dirty. The bathroom did not have enough towels and shampoos for two people and there was a water leakage in the bathroom. The staffs were not even trying to help us and I was not able to cancel and refund my money to this point. Not recommended at all. That was my worst experience in the US in last 7 years.
- 1/5
This property is in a drug and crime infested area of Seattle. I do not recommend it to anyone.
- 2/5
Room was dirty and smelly
- 5/5
Convenient to get around
- 3/5
Neighborhood feels sketchy, upholstery and room decor was dated and not particularly clean. Tried to take the stairs to the main floor and had to back away, it was pretty dirty:(
- 5/5
The staff is very welcoming and helpful as needed. The room with a kitchenette is specious and nice. The room service is great. I would recommend this place for anyone who needs a place to stay.
- 5/5
Very close to home. Accommodating me in a pinch so my out town visitor could occupy my my apt w privacy.
- 3/5
The building is down at heel with lots of things, nearly broken and scarred.
- 5/5
Nice and clean. However, didn't make beds daily or restock coffee supplies.
- 4/5
No pharmacy type store near by, limited restaurants
