Very rustic, too much for me. The keys didn't always work which was inconvenient. Off street parking does not mean there is a parking lot for your car. Check in was on the phone. I could not get the air conditioner to work but there was a fan in my room. Wi-Fi worked well but the TV kept turning off. It was just not for me. Don't let my review skew you I just am a hotel with amenities girly. If you like antiques and friendly puppies then this place could be okay for you.

This was a clean, well kept property. We loved the beautiful gardens and delicious breakfast each morning. It was fun to stay in a house that was so unique. The location was great; quiet, but only 10-15 minutes to most places we wanted to see. The only reason I would rate it 4 stars is that I thought it was good - but not great - for kids. I think a couple traveling or friends is best suited for this property. We loved our stay overall!

A lovely location on capitol hill, just 2 streets away from bars, restaurants and stores.

Room was very clean & comfortable. The manager, David, was accessible & helpful with dining spot ideas, ice for a sore hip & made wonderful breakfasts. We really enjoyed this beautiful B & B & would be happy to return!

We absolutely loved the property. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and everything was very clean. Anne was a delight. We will definitely be returning.

Great victorian home stay. Clean and Comfortable.

The place is magical, 1909 house, fully furnished with period furniture. As a guest you have access to 3! Living rooms, tea 24/7, super nice staff, fantastic neighborhood with shops and restaurants, and easy commute to downtown. Highly recommended!!!!

This was my first time at a bed and breakfast, I was traveling with my 20 year old daughter and she really wanted to stay there so we did! The room was spacious and clean and had good amenities, some of the furniture is original to the house so it was nice to feel the history, the owner was very nice and accommodated our request to keep our bags in the library room and return the key 2 hours after normal checkout time (we needed the key to re-enter the building), breakfast was nice and different from day to day, coffee and multiple variations of teas were available but I am sorry the coffee was watery, they did provide instant coffee to make it stronger but we just went out for coffee after breakfast, the manor is charming with old but well kept furniture and very nice decor, they have a very cute super friendly golden retriever and we had so much fun playing with him every morning, I wish we had access to the history of the manor, I googled it and found out it was built in 1909 by a chemical engineer, there are a lot of coffee shops and restaurants at a short walking distance and u can take the bus to downtown and walk to pike place and honestly you can even then walk to pike place, we mostly Uber’ed but we took the bus and train and monorail one time each, overall, if u r a bed and breakfast kind of person, this is a really great option

Breakfast was delicious. The other guests are charming. I have added a third night!❤️

The entire stay start to finish was amazing. We had a late arrival and he met us outside w his sweet pupper. The carriage house suite is a MUST. So private and fully stocked. The house is incredible. We loved everything about the stay!

Excellent! Highly recommended

This was a great place to stay. The house and host was very inviting and warm. Convenient location. We will stay here for future trips to Seattle.
- 5/5
Breakfast each morning was tasty and set a good start to the day. The hosts were friendly, easy to talk with, and happy to offer tips about the area. The location worked out well — it’s in a quiet neighborhood, but still convenient for getting around. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing place to stay, and I’d be glad to come back.
- 5/5
When we arrived we were absolutely stunned at how lovely the guest house was. It is like stepping back in time 100 years or more - original features and decor everywhere. The location is spot on - loads of bars and restaurants in Capitol Hill all within walking distance, a nice park 10 minutes away and a bus stop that takes you right upto Pike Place. Breakfast was very nice - my only observation is we could have done with a bit more of it - but thats being a bit picky. A nice touch is that breakfast is served around a huge dining table so you get to meet the other guests.

Truly a hidden gem! I loved my stay at the Manor. Highly suggest that travelers stay here to enjoy Seattle!

Pretty good for my first Airbnb! The outdoor lounge area is beautiful and serene! Perfect for late afternoon/evening relaxing. Perks because I was able to get a room with a private entrance. Loved that it was an older building. Gave it a cozy charm. The smart tv where you could sign into your apps was nice as well. Chill host (and co-host, their friendly dog 😊). Smooth check in and check out. Would stay there again!

Very close to downtown. Parking was easily available on property or street parking within 1 block of property. Very quiet and beautiful manor! David was awesome! When we stayed there…. It literally felt like home! That was the atmosphere. Water fountain outside, piano in the living room, a library/study. It was an amazing stay!

Staff was great! Beautiful home. Breakfasts were wonderful.

Lovely B&B with welcoming hosts and great breakfasts.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay here very much, especially the proximity to several restaurants and shops. The hosts were fantastic and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious and the room was spacious and comfortable. We would definitely go back when we are in Seattle.

We really enjoyed our stay. The side room with the bed was a great touch. Also, the couch bed accommodated us well.
- 5/5
The building was so beautiful and well-maintained, I loved the doggies that would come around every once and awhile!!
- 5/5
Rooms are master suites in old grand house. Very comfortable with private baths. Our room had sitting area with fireplace. Location is perfect for walking to bars, restaurants, city parks, and lake views.
- 5/5
Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. Area is close to train and lots of food options
- 5/5
Wonderful setting and awesome breakfasts!!

Beautiful old house. Staff was warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend
- 4/5
Great location, friendly hosts and overall very good place to stay, would reccomend to others. Only slight negatives were the outside seating area which could be tided/freshened up and breakfast where some self serve options, i.e cold cereal and some pre knowledge of the cooked option (today we have x,y,z etc what would you like) would elevate it further. What was served was excellent so no complaints there and dietary needs were accommodated.
- 4/5
Lovely place with pleasant hosts. Spacious and good amenities. Very nice breakfasts. Located in 1909 mansion with beautiful furnishings and elegant public areas. While we had ensuite bathroom with old tub and shower, apparently some have shared bathrooms. Parking is limited and on street parking is rarely available. Price was a good value for Seattle. Interesting variety of restaurants nearby. We would consider returning here

Very beautiful
- 4/5
Only gripe is that coffee is not available until 8:00am. Would be nice to have it in the room or down in the main area.
- 5/5
Great location at a reasonable price. Really enjoyed talking with the other guests at breakfast. Comfortable bed and accommodations. Very friendly staff too. I’d highly recommend.
- 5/5
Very convenient location and a cute and quaint property with modern amenities
- 5/5
Beautiful place, great area, friendly staff :)
- 5/5
They have a wonderful place, we felt comfortable and very welcome. It was like being home away from home. Very polite and very friendly and so peaceful. I have told all my family and friends if they are going to Seattle and want a nice place to stay to visit Cecil Bacon Manor and they will never want to stay in a different place.
- 5/5
Very different type of location just like being in someone’s house. Bathroom a bit small and the shower was in the main bedroom. Might not be ok with everyone but it was fine for me.
- 5/5
Very welcoming and the stay was just as perfect! I will definitely be returning. Thank You David!
- 5/5
The best place to stay! Would recommend to anyone and will be back!
- 5/5
Lovely spot in a beautiful home. The owner was very accomodating. Really walkable neighborhood too.
- 5/5
Stayed here for 3 nights going to Metallica over the weekend. This is an outstanding B & B, the staff was very good and the breakfast was very delightful. The property was very nice snd within walking distance to restraunts and walking distance to public transportation. We loved the house pup who greeted guests outside always wagging his tail. If and when we go back we wouldnt hesitate to stay there again.
- 5/5
We had a fantastic visit to Seattle. The hospitality was amazing. Their response time for any need to communicate was immediate. They absolutely go above and beyond for their guests. Breakfast was a fun way to meet new people. Overall A
- 5/5
The house was built in 1909 and had some of the features of the period. Beautiful house and the breakfast was very good. Within walking distance to restaurants and stores. Nice park close by also.
- 4/5
Everything very good. Four stars not five are because all towel bars in the bathroom were loose (I really hate loose towel bars) as was the robe hook on the bathroom door, that actually fell off. Outside, the walls around the property are in need if some TLC - a power wash and (maybe) dome paintbto remove the graffiti.
- 5/5
We love this bed and breakfast! The food and coffee were delicious. The customer service was fabulous, and the ambience was perfect. There are tons of delicious restaurants in walking distance. Volunteer Park is also an easy walk. We hope we can stay here again the next time we come to Seattle!
- 5/5
Well put together property with a more classic antique furniture layout. Very inviting. Friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
This was one of my favorite vacation stays. The property is beautiful and eclectically decorated. Checking in and out was as convenient as a text message. Breakfast each morning was consistently pleasant. The neighborhood is clean, safe, and quiet, and an easy walk to restaurants and shops, but also to the light rail to get to the airport, train station, and downtown. I will absolutely be booking here again on my next trip to Seattle.
- 5/5
Fantastic stay! Not to far from things. Host was gracious and kind. Would definitely recommend and come back.
- 2/5
I think it did not offer value

Friendly and quaint

Very nice family owned bed and breakfast. The breakfast was delicious. Parking is a little crazy but we made it work.
- 5/5
Great place to stay away from Downtown Seattle. Felt like being at home. David is excellent host and breakfast was nice touch every morning. Great to meet people from all over the world.
- 5/5
The hosts were charming and the home is incredibly beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent location - very quick to get to downtown Seattle, the ferries, the Space Needle, etc. A hidden gem in Seattle!
- 4/5
Lovely property. Would stay there again but would prefer a different room.
- 5/5
It is a wonderful B&B hosted by David and his husband. David was there to cook us wonderful breakfast and we had an eclectic group of other guests who were friendly. He was patient when I kept forgetting how to use my fob. The place is walkable to many attractions and the setting is somehow tranquil even though we were close to downtown and to the university. I would recommend it highly

Lovely stay in a wonderful neighborhood

Proprietor was vey friendly and helpful. The Manor was beautiful and really inspired wonder. I loved the history and ambience of the place. Rooms felt very private and quiet. Breakfast was very good. We have a special needs child and the staff were very happy to accomodate our needs. Patking was a bit tight, but the proprietor helped us figure it out. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our stay!
- 4/5
A very individual style of accommodation. A beautifully kept original home. All the rooms are very different so read the descriptions. Breakfast was served round a huge table- oryou could eat on the veranda or in a separate room. David was very welcoming. An excellent cheap bus service into the city, about 3 minute walk away.
- 4/5
We would stay here again.
