My kids enjoyed their breakfast every morning, I didn’t have to get them out of bed and love that they have a kitchenette. Highly recommend. Only thing my kids would have wanted was a pool, but I didn’t mind that so much. Grounds are clean, centrally located for our needs and not far at all from I5 and the airport.when we have guests in town we always recommend this residence inn.

Disappointing

Residence Inns are always spacious suites that make one feel more at home than a traditional hotel room. This one was no exception. Helpful staff, I was handed a first floor key and requested a higher floor. Done in less than a minute. LOvely suite, excellent modern shower, spotless overall. HIghly recommend. Oh, FYI the airport shuttle closes at 10:30 pm. My flight came in early enough to not be a problem, but late flights could be a crisis (cab or uber/lyft, but they hate losing their place in line for super short rides0.

Overall, the room was good, although there was a problem with the AC in the room. The thermostat didn't seem to regulate the temperature very well. I had to turn the temperature down to below 70 for the AC to work but then, it became too cold. When I turned the temperature to 72, the AC would stop and the room would be very stuffy. I let the front desk know and they had someone looked at it while I was out for the day but the problem seemed to persist. Overall, the stay was good and I would stay here again, maybe a different room.

We were told we have a lake view with a balcony. The balcony wasn’t even big enough for 2 people to stand on, much less for chairs to be on. The lake view was non existent. The breakfast was mid.

I have been doing some traveling over the last 18 months, and had stay at several hotels from the east coast to the west coast. I much said this is one of the most enjoyable hotel that I had the privilege to stay at.

Everyone on staff was extremely helpful. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. My only complaint is that the room was listed as "lake view", but there was no view of the lake. Otherwise, our stay here was exceptional.

We only stayed overnight and it was a great experience. Our much needed rest with a very clean and quiet room was overly satisfied. Breakfast was also enough to have our fill in our morning travel to the cruise terminal. Great staff, great hotel!

I got 2 small bottles of water at check-in and one diet Dr Pepper in the am from the small fridge by the front desk. They charged me over $15! Ridiculous! I asked for a copy of the bill at check out and after 10 minutes they still couldn't figure out how to print it! I suspected this over charge was the reason why. The girl said we should have gotten 2 bottles of water the night before at check in. Everything else about the facility was nice and it was clean. The AC in our room did not work. The thermostat said the batteries were low.

It was a short walk to the train station, Handy for going to Downtown Seattle.The laundry room was good to have. The breakfast was average, it was not what we were expecting from a Marriott. Disposable plates, plastic cutlery. There was no other food available, other than microwave meals & pot noodles. It was not what we were expecting.

We chose this property for its proximity to the airport and the fact that it was an easy walk to the Light Rail station at Angel Lake. We also intended to use the free shuttle service, and were pleased with the convenience of being dropped off at the airport. Arriving after midnight, our check-in was handled smoothly. Our room was large, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was in a comfortable setting although there was limited variety of choices. There is also a small ‘convenience’ section to purchase late night snacks or toiletries.

Breakfast ok not exceptional and coffee was not good:-(. Plenty of parking. Lack of front desk staff upon arrival and one staff person (? On his break) did not rise to get a clerk to assist us. While we had a clean room, there were used dishes in our sink upon arrival.

Everything was great besides our room was a bit dirty and a few old joints sitting on patio floor which made me feel like room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned.

Staff was welcoming, the place is tucked in a very quiet area very close to the airport. The property is clean and well maintained and not run down at all. Room was clean as well. The entire place was very nice and guests were equally pleasant. Included breakfast was a plus.

The best hotel I’ve stayed at in years. I was flying from Ohio into Seattle and after a stressful rental car experience I arrived to the hotel and was overwhelmed with how beautiful the room was. The staff was so helpful and I even ended up extending my stay I didn’t want to leave. The room was a full on suite/studio with a fully loaded kitchen, pots, silverware, everything I needed. The living room was equipped with a sectional couch, large tv, desk. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud it was so comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, glass shower, great lighting and just exquisite. I was even given a free parking pass. My free breakfast, so good, fresh omelets, oatmeal, fruits, coffee, waffle maker everything you would need for a jump to a great meal to start your day. I will always book this hotel when I’m in the sea-tac area. Obviously highly recommended!

Cleanest room ever and I travel once every two weeks. Huge room, staff was friendly and went there way to make sure I knew everything about keeping my car there. Loved the property and shuttle was right on time!

Such a deal, given the size of the room, the beautiful lake beside a huge park with playgrounds, and very accomodating staff. It's a good train ride away from the city, but out of all the hotels in this part of Seattle, pick this hotel! It's always where I stay.

The pullout bed was horrible not comfortable at all. they also don’t ever vacuum under the couch or on the couch I went to open up and food was on it and under it this is the second hotel this trip where they did not clean this area. The other one’s a Marriott also hint hand. Check in person gave me no information on when check out was or when breakfast Also no information on WiFi. Odd. Parking sucks not enough spaces

The airport shuttle only runs untill 10:00pm, but this information is nowhere to be found on their website. Additionally, when I called from the airport no other options were made available to us - even though we later discovered that after 12:00pm, they don't actually offer a shuttle but send Lyft vouchers instead - so that could have certainly been offered at 10:15pm when I called needong a shuttle. The other thing was they don't offer any sort of streaming options on their TVs - only cable TV! It's been 5 years or more since I last saw a TV without smart options ina hotel!

Shuttle service and staff were great! Breakfast was a bit lacking compared to other Residence Inns I've stayed at. Parking was sometimes unavailable.

The room itself was terrific. The staff were tremendously helpful. I wish I was aware that guests of the hotel are charged $18/day (+ $5/day in taxes) for parking. Had I been aware of these additional charges, I would have looked at booking a different hotel.

We were not aware that the shuttle ended at 11pm. Unfortunately our flight was delayed and we missed the last shuttle by 10 minutes. Our room was very dirty. It’s like they changed the sheets but didn’t vacuum. The room also did not come supplied with the necessary bedding for the pullout bed. We were given a broken mattress protector and no pillows. Very disappointing.

When I accidentally rode the wrong shuttle that took me to Marriot Seatac Airport, the graveyard operator told me they couldn’t pick me up—even though the shuttle driver later told me he could have picked me up because it was on the way. I ended up waiting about 10 minutes before the driver took me back to the airport. When I finally arrived, the front desk assigned me Room 119—a handicap room with a strong unpleasant odor. I explained that I did not book a handicap-accessible room and asked for the room category I paid for. The front desk agent told me the hotel was fully booked and that no other rooms were available. I then contacted Expedia, where I made my reservation, and reported the issue. After Expedia called the hotel, suddenly the room category I originally paid for became available. It took nearly an hour before I was moved, but the new room was significantly better and clearly what I should have been given from the start. After a long international flight, this was extremely disappointing. I had been looking forward to relaxing in the correct room, but the delays and issues meant I didn’t make it to the mall or even to any open restaurants in time. Will I come back? Maybe. Would I recommend this hotel? Maybe—but only with caution.

We enjoyed our stay. Rooms have an apartment feel with plenty of kitchen necessities. We loved having a toaster. Breakfast had good options. Nice laundry facilities too. Shuttle is from 5 am to 11pm. Hotel is a short walk to the rail line, bus stops. The airport is only a few minutes drive away.

Stayed for 4 nights and never received any room service. Requested twice but never received one. Had to deal with dirty toilet bowl, removing diapers and other trashes gathered from day to day use by myself and walk around piles of soiled towels everywhere in bathroom. Complained and demanded to speak to the manager on duty. Each time we were denied an opportunity to share our concern and employees refused to give their names. Finally emailed the manager who never responded back. Will be my last booking at any Marriot in future.

Room is ok. Waited 1h+ at airport for the shuttle, was told later there was no shuttle between 2pm and 3. We called twice, was told each time the shuttle will come soon, never told us there was no shuttle, otherwise we would have called the uber. Also breakfast was awful.

The receptionist at check in was there both times we stayed there (late afternoon into the evening). She had the personality of a corn cob. Everything she did and all questions asked of her was as if it was such a demand of her time. If you want an improvement on your hotel I would say educate her on attitude or fire her.

I reserved a room with Lake View (Balcony) by paying a premium through Expedia. When I checked in at the hotel, I asked them to confirm that my room is Lake View (Balcony). They said “No, you got just a standard room with no Lake View and no Balcony. That is what you reserved. If you have a problem with that, contact Expedia”. I knew that they were lying to me, and I contacted Expedia, and Expedia called the hotel. They told Expedia differently that my reserved room is Lake View (Balcony), but there were no availability for that room type at that night.

The receptionist wasn't kind. I called several times from the room. She never picked up and when I was going to the front desk she was in person al calls or smoking outside. No at all client oriented.

The service was friendly, room was in good condition except for a couch that was dirty and looked like kids had used as a trampoline. This was at the far end of the hotels so if you didn't have a car, then it was a long walk back to food, groceries or other stores.

Nice hotel. Very clean and easy checkin. Great for our two dogs. Not a lot of yard for bathroom duty, but enough! One negative was The shuttle did not come for over an hour ( we arrived at 12:30 pm on a Saturday. We called 3 times to ask for the airport shuttle and were assured it was on the way. We ended up taking a taxi to get to the hotel . The desk let us know they were short some staff.

This property was so lacking the Marriott brand. More like a Motel 6. First thing receptionist's attitude was one of "who cares, why am I here". When we arrived there was a family (NAVY VET) that had to drive there because thier dogs weren't able to fly from Atlanta because of the heat factor. They called to leave message they'd be a late chick in because the airline refused to allow the dogs to fly. After almost 2 days on the road they were told at check in their room had been "automatically" cancelled. Reception didn't offer any help just told them they didn't have any rooms for them. This family was moving to Japan as part of his service. Attitude was "why are you bothering me"! I needed to print our airline boarding passes but was told they got rid of their business center. Unbelievable, your hotel is next to the airport! Then I wanted to iron my cloths but only was given an iron and no ironing board. WHAT? Attitude by staff was horrible to say the least.

It was a nice stay. Our plane got in late, so we didn't get to stay in the room long, but it was a great experience!

I reserved the room through Expedia and was told that my room selection is limited to Level One when the booking comes from a third party. That was disappointing.

The room on 3rd floor had a beautiful view of the lake and Mt. Rainier. We were surprised that it had a kitchenette and large bathroom with separate changing area. Staff were very helpful and allowed us to wait and/or store our luggage until a room was ready--early check in from cruise. Very close to SeaTac airport and the shuttle staff were professional and helpful. Mass transit train link to Seattle is across the street. Definitely will be our go-to hotel when we return to Seattle!

HOWEVER, the reason for not giving it a 5 star rating was because we selected and paid for a balcony with lake view. We recieved neither. The balcony is a Juliette balcony which we could bearly stand on. As for the lake view, quite honestly there was none.... not even if we stood on the bed.

The room had no hand soap at the wash basin. The front staff said that they had completely run out and could offer no alternatives, and told us to "just reach in and use the shower soap". Ridiculous. Hand soap is a basic necessity and I've had hotels make alternative arrangements in an emergency, e.g. could simply arrange a squeeze bottles from a local store. Was it really that much of a surprise for the staff? Later at night I asked for ear plugs, but again they said they had completely run out and could offer no solution. They offered to compensate some part of the room charge to make up for this lack of these basic services, but then reneged on it and said that they would instead just take off the parking fee. The cost that hit my credit card does not make any price adjustment for either of the above promises. Now do I need to reach out to them and figure this out again?

Very close to SeaTac airport. Large room which included a kitchen and the bathroom also was large and the shower was great.

Great stay, suite was very comfortable, the sofa bed sucked though! It was literally like sleeping on a box spring, there was hardly any padding at all, just terrible. And I think if a group is checking in with more than 2 people, the hotel should made the sofa bed for you, they should at least ask upon check in. But otherwise great stay. The breakfast staff lady could’ve been friendlier, no big deal but I think with a place that was a good experience, minor improvements can make it so much better but yes otherwise enjoyed the stay.

Needed to be near the airport for an early morning flight. Picked this location since it's close to rental car Return. Everything was handled with ease by the night staff. Only had a chance to sleep and shower in the morning... Total 5 hours. Great bed.

We stayed one night, very comfortable and easily accessible to airport and light rail into Seattle.

Shuttle bus does not start until 6am, so if you have an early flight, you need to find another way to the airport.

They said they would contact hotel to move my dates (I'm also a gold Marriott member. Hotels.com and Marriott both pointed their fingers at eachother for the lack of communication. I only needed to bump my dates 4 days. I called the hotel myself and they didn't offer any kind of help or service. Marriot and Hotels.com said I needed to talk to the hotel which I called and they told me I'm was totally out of luck. Zero stars for this location and Marriott and hotels.com. I stayed at the Hyatt when I was there 3 days later. Huge bummer. But I'm only able to give this review because they charged me in full. So here's my review. ZERO. Good luck bros.

Super clean and beautiful property, was impressed by the lake view, king bed, balcony room I had! Had a beautiful view of the lake. The bed was super comfortable which makes a big difference for me when choosing a hotel. Property is also very close to many excellent dining options. It was convenient, well priced, and would totally stay again.
