Despite its excellent location, this hotel did not live up to its 9+ rating. We were surprised to find highly inadequate guest parking, which forced us to utilize street parking. Given the high score on the platform, we expected a much higher standard of quality and service.

Can't recommend this spot highly enough. First time flying into LGB (about 15-20m ride from airport – they do have a free shuttle to/from, just need to call ahead). The location is great. About 5m walk to Main St with all different types of restaurants/shops & another 5m from there to the Seal Beach pier. The staff here was awesome. Anyone I interacted with (including guests) was upbeat & positive. I stayed 2 nights & used the hot tub 4x haha. I can't wait to go back!

Was a nice place. Very clean. Would have love the pool to be heated

Overall the room wasnt bad. However there was one big problem. The carpet in our room was damp. The entire carpet within the room was noticeably damp and it was disgusting. We had to wear socks and throw them away just so we wouldnt be barefoot. That ruined our whole view of the property.

Staff very helpful and friendly.

Good location

Older hotel, but well maintained and good service. Only has a single elevator. Small fridge and freezer in the room, along with a microwave and coffee machine. They also had coffee in the breakfast area and in the lobby. Breakfast exceeded expectations with waffle maker, hot omelettes, sausage and potatoes along with pastries, cereal and instant oatmeal. Will stay again.

The shuttle pickup from the airport to the cruise terminal the next day, and the pickup after our cruise was wonderful. Great communication, friendly staff all around, and the property was really nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it anyone visiting the area. I thought the price was a little high, but I understand that is what the area demands, and it's actually a pretty good value for the area.

We arrived at 2:30. 4:00 pm was check in time. My mom is in a wheelchair and was exhausted. We were directed to pool. The pool was very cold 70 degrees. We stayed about 45 minutes then check on room. Still not ready. We were allowed to check in at 3:20. No one helped or even offered to help with luggage or wheelchair. One key did not work. I had to navigate luggage cart and my mom to a room that was very far from elevator alone.

Breakfast had decent choices including fresh fruit and the usuals: eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, decent coffee. Room was clean, nicely remodeled--had a little balcony overlooking the park--neighborhood was charming, safe with some decent food choices nearby. Will stay there again.

Stayed 1 night before heading to Royal Caribbean cruise out of Los Angeles Cruise Port. Pickup from Long Beach airport was a huge bonus. Shuttle driver was friendly. Upon Arrival we were treated to freshly baked cookies. The front desk explained the routine. Breakfast Buffet was nice with plenty of options. The room was nicely kept and comfortable. There are plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. The beach is about 2 blocks or 10 minutes walking distance away. We would definitely stay here again. we enjoyed our short stay, wish we would've came 2 days early for the cruise.

Clean spacious room. We were given an upgrade when we checked in. The beach, and plenty of eating establishments are within walking distance. The area was quiet and felt safe. There is free parking, but some of the spaces are very tight. Breakfast is usual stuff, eggs, waffles, potatoes, etc. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was walking distance to the pier and many other places around the area. Felt safe the entire time and would go back if ever visiting Long Beach again.

They say there was a free shuttle up cruise terminal but there was a fee.

The free breakfast is about the same as most places, waffle makers, hot selections and cereal options. No donuts. They have covered parking and shuttle service. Easy access to the cruise terminal and within walking distance of the beach.

Just spent one night as attended the exciting Clippers/Warriors game at Intuit Inglewood and visiting son who works in Garden Grove. Easy walking distance to Main St and the pier where we took in the ocean. Hotel is pirched above the parking lot on a busy street where can hear cars whiz by on PCH if you have your sliding door open. We got pizza from New York Slice on Main but probably should have got cheesesteaks next door. Clean rooms, friendly staff, good lil breakfast area (coffee not strong enough but we normally grind own beans at home), good overall value for the price. Definitely did the job and would stay here again.

There was a young homeless man smoking a meth pipe and a tobacco ciggerette in the hot tub. He was wearing street clothes in the water and was eventually escorted out by security. The security worker was amazing. He asked me to make a note for management about the door that stays open and allows the homeless population to enter the hotel area. He's right. That door should have no way to stay propped open the way it was. Otherwise , fine stay for what we needed.

The room was small it was dirty it was noisy and the balcony had a ginormous palm tree in front of it so the view was obstructed. I don't know how this place got excellent reviews but I had a very bad experience here

I enjoyed my stay here. Free coffee and tea in the lobby was nice and refillable water stations. A bit of a walk to the beach would’ve liked it to be closer but I was there for Christmas so it was a bit cold to swim anyway. Very nice hot tub in the pool area and very nice rooms

The hotel couldn't be in a more perfect location! Walkable to the beach, shops, and great restaurants, I felt totally safe! The free chocolate chip cookies at 6pm were a nice touch, it was quiet, loved the balcony, the open air hot tub, and there were whole fresh avocados on the breakfast bar (which were perfect)! I guess that's how you know you're in California. Highly recommend. Would totally stay here again.

It was a lovely stay and always is. The only thing I struggle with at Pacific inn is always the shower temp being luke warm and the pool being too cold. They don't do a ton of updates and because of the location that pretty much flies, but if they did anything I would love for them to provide hotter water in the shower pool and Jacuzzi!

Very very clean room, neat and meduim sized room, fancy showers are awesome with patio really ties the room together. Pretty cool designed building, Built like a fortress, the parkinglot/garage is at level with the hotel lobby. All three stories of the hotel are above the parkinglot/lobby. The interior is triangular and at the center on the first floor is the pool and jacuzzi. There are two stairwells that I found, that all lead to there own keycard entrance ways separate to the lobby. I really enjoyed the hotel and the area. Will return.

We booked there on the advice of other cruisers, but the place is really run down. It looks like they tried to update it but it needs more. Our room smelled bad, like mildew. Also, I was under the impression from other cruisers that the shuttle to and from the cruise port was free. It is about the same as an uber or lyft but with a long wait. Also if they have a shuttle to and from the beach we were never informed nor did we ever see a shuttle of any kind. The town was fun, nice shops, and the resuarants and bars around had great food the Yucatan restuarant and the Hangout were awesome, Hennessy's had some great music. The beach was sad to me, it was covered in trash but kids where playing in it anyway. They need to have a big community clean up becuse there was plasic and furniture floating out there.The pier was fun and thier were lots of cool birds. I would not recommend this hotel, but the town of Seal beach is fun at least for a one time visit but I would find another place to stay and hope that the town will spend some time on cleaning up the beach.

The staff here is amazing! The rooms are clean and updated. The breakfast changes a little daily, and has a nice offering. Lots of little details. The pool area is clean and we loved being able to overlook the pool area. The designated parking garage and lot was also a nice plus! We would definitely stay here again!

Location was good except for traffic noise. This is an older building which has had makeovers but lacks soundproofing so not the quietest place.

The staff was so friendly we even met the owner and he was really friendly and helpful! Everything was really clean the breakfast was really good they had waffles omelettes fried potatoes fruit oatmeal a lot of different things! We would definitely stay here again!!!

The hotel itself is in a great location. Mostly quiet neighborhood. Parking was a little challenging later in the day after coming back from our activities but we got lucky both days - there does seem to be some limited street parking too. The rooms can definitely use some flooring updates. Bring your own pillows if possible - they seemed to be the size of throw pillows. Unfortunately we didn’t get to take advantage of the free breakfast but the front desk was absolutely amazing in providing some late night treats behind the counter that we took advantage of!!!

Very friendly front desk gal held our bags due to us arriving early, then pointed out where there were shops, etc, to visit in the area, plus gave us a pool pass if we wanted to relax there. Everything looked spic and span clean!

Everyone was very nice and helpful. We felt safe and comfortable leaving our 18 and 19 year old daughters there while we were on our cruise so they can hang out at the beach for a few days.

I love being able to walk and explore the area from the convenient location! Included breakfast on site was an added bonus! Room and property were clean and I was pleasantly surprised to find a Jacuzzi tub in the room's bath area! Staff were friendly and helpful! Check in and out processes were simple and quick! Would definitely recommend! Stayed one night before our cruise from the Long Beach port and was so glad I chose this area instead of the busy Ling Beach area! We were able to explore the walkable beach area including shops and restaurants and would definitely stay longer! Uber was easy and convenient to hotel and again to port!

I love this hotel for cruising out of long beach, they are clean and comfortable. The staff always goes above and beyond and anre extremely helpful and accommodating. The location is absolutely perfect for dining and shopping. I loved I could pay $ 30 (a nominal fee) to check in early since our flight came in before four. All in all I will continue to choose this hotel for location , staff, shuttle and proximity to port and dining.

We loved The Pacific Inn. This was our first time in California and needed a place to stay for two night while traveling up for Disneyland. My 18 year old stayed at behind at Seal Beach while I took my younger daughter to Disneyland. The rooms were clean, roomy and the breakfast was great. The staff members were super friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our accommodations.

Newly renovated. Best continental breakfast I have ever had. Mattress seemed new and firm. Staff was so nice and helpful. Pool and spa were clean and inviting. Local to restaurants. Within walking distance of the beach and shopping. Will def stay again!

We were in town visiting a friend for 5 nights and this hotel was so welcoming and beneficial. It's only acceler ride from the beach or you could walk there too in 2 min. An indoor pool and hot tub when you're just tired of the beach in your swimsuit. Staff is very kind rooms were clean and the breakfast was always tasty.

There aren’t really any hotels in seal beach that are walking distance from the ocean. The Pacific Inn is very convenient as a base for getting around in seal beach. Planning to stay again soon.

Such a great location, a few minutes walk to Main Street, Seal Beach. Loved our corner room. Free breakfast was appreciated and had both Continental and hot options. Served our needs perfectly. We definitely would stay there again.

Clean. Wonderful crisp sheets. The show stopper for me was being put in a room around the pool its so pretty and a joy to walk out to. Breakfast was on par with other continentals. Lobby is very small though if you are going to hang out go to the pool area.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and cozy rooms. I loved the balcony. I received a call prior to our stay just to confirm our stay and if I had any questions, which o thought was nice.

Right within walking distance of all things in Seal Beach. We loved our stay and will be back! The rooms are clean, the parking was ample and free, the service was great, bed was comfy. We didn't use the pool or spa but it looked nice and clean. This will be our go to place for our future stays in Seal Beach.

When we checked into our room, the temperature was 90 degrees. I attempted to adjust the room temperature using the wall thermostat to prepare for our eventual return late that night. When we returned to the room at about 10:30pm, the room temperature was 100 degrees.

Love that this hotel is walking distance to the beach and has great surrounding restaurants and shops! Hotel room was great, pool was nice temperature, breakfast had plenty of different options, and staff was wonderful! They assisted us with both an early check in and ensured our request of a tub was met since we have a little one. Definitely will return with my family!

Close to a great beach

Great location if you’re planning on going on a cruise out of Long Beach! Walking distance from the beach and lots of place to eat and drink nearby! They offered free shuttle services to and from airport. You must schedule ahead of time.

The location is perfect. We would walk to the beach every day and it was very close to restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back.

We stayed the night before our cruise and they offered a shuttle service to the cruise terminal. It was the perfect hotel very comfortable and cozy, close to restaurants and the beach

This is the second time we have stayed there and really like and it within walking distance to shops and restaurants

Great hotel to stay in for one night before our cruise. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If getting a balcony, be aware that most overlook the street and McDonald’s parking lot. If you want a view of the park, be sure to ask for it. Also, the pool and hot tub are in the middle of the very small interior courtyard, so you might hear noise from guests at the pool in your room until the pool closes at night.

We always stay here when we cruise out of Long Beach. Nice clean rooms excellent staff. 🙂

Sàfety was #1 Used your room key to badge in to get on the elevator, Dislike was my balcony, traffic noise and no view, taco bell and McDonald's, That was minor, This property is an Excellent place to stay

Great location

This hotel was definitely top notch. From free airport shuttle, free breakfast and cruise terminal shuttle (for a fee) they had everything we needed for one night stay before our cruise!

The Pacific inn was a very good place to stay. It was clean and the room was very big. Not to far from the cruise port. The breakfast was good and all the service was excellent and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location, easy to get in and out. Check in was super easy, the room was as advertised. We had a balcony which was awesome because the weather was amazing! Very close to everything! About an hour from LAX.

We always come to Seal Beach in the spring and always stay here. Park the car for the weekend and just walk everywhere.

Decor is a bit dated but rooms were clean and staff are friendly. The area is very walkable with Seal Beach just 10 minute walk away with many beautiful homes in the neighborhoods surrounding the property.

We enjoyed the hotel. Had everything we needed to enjoy our self.

VERY clean hotel! Friendly and available staff. Offers quite a bit amenity-wise for a very good price. Easy walk to some great food places. If driving (outside of major highways) traffic seems light/not hectic. Relaxing and safe vibe overall. Very close to the beach- could walk but if deciding to drive to Seal Beach be aware of parking traps- it was not easy for us to tell that it was paid parking so we unintentionally parked without paying and got ticketed a hefty fine (of course this has nothing to do with the hotel). The beach itself was beautiful and clean but it was extremely windy and cold because of the extreme winds. This could just be the time of year we were here, maybe other months it would be warmer and more pleasant conditions at least for swimming and hanging out for more than an hour.

I loved the patio! It was so clean and homey! I will definitely be staying here again! Only thing I wish they did have is streaming access

I conducted a region meeting for six employees. The meeting room was perfect size and the staff was very helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were modern, clean and quiet. Good breakfast too.
