great pricing, excellent location with lots of dining and entertainment options nearby. clean room, staff is super friendly and easy to work with. i will definitely stay there again next time i'm in the area.

Rooms weren't very clean. Towels and sheets had stains. Our toilet was leaking onto the floor at night and they told us there wasn't anything they could do for us. We just dealt with a flooded bathroom that had a bathtub that barely drained until we could leave first thing in the morning.

Not located in a good side of Scottsdale. Small sign in front of hotel, small sign on front door stating one must enter through back door, door to my room has visible gaps and was difficult to open and close. Next door to an adult book store.

I arrived after full day of travel to meet a young man at the front desk. He managed the property. Unbelievable way. Noise would bend over backwards for me. Anything I asked for he does it all him as his assistant he’s always working. He always answers the phone he always greets me with a smile can I go on any further? I get a stipend from the male clinic so that co-pay is an out-of-pocket equals about $50,000 a year that I have to pay -$1000 a month and so my wife so I could this place obviously location and cost cause she knows I slept in firehouse for 28 years I could sleep anywhere. I’m just completely satisfied can’t say enough anyways even with all the responsibilities he has he manages to put it all together I don’t know how what he does and anyways I can’t say enough be safe

This is an older hotel. With those expectations, this was a nice place. Clean. The area was clean. Looked like fresh paint on the exterior. Would stay there again.

It was a nasty place! We did not stay there. So old and run down. Had a bad smell in the lobby when we arrived and the room was even worse...we went in for about 5 mins and all had headaches starting from the smell. I tried to call the property many times and the phone would just continue to ring with no answer! I would like to try and get my money back if possible. Please let me know what to do.

I would not recommend. There were people talking and smoking right outside our door at all hours of the night. Very thin walls too. Didn’t even have a blanket available in the room.

The rooms and motel are not as depicted in the pictures. The staff was sleeping on a mattress on the floor in a room behind the customer service counter. This is not a location I would recomend to a stray dog. I was told by my booking company, Roadway Inn would refund my charges, in which they did not. Untrustworthy and not worth the troubles.

I reserved a double queen and the room was full size beds. I feel if the property does not have queen beds, we should have been advised in advance so we could find a site more to our needs. Also I think there needs to be accessible rooms. We had requested them and again was not told there were either none or already in use. The manager has to be given props as we had forgotten some items and they emailed us and we were able to retrieve them. Lastly I did not receive a receipt. I had prepaid for the room and upon checking in, the paper looked like different rates. All of these could have been resolved by some good communication when I made the reservation several months in advance. The bathroom needs some upgrades, the bedsheets were stained and torn. There were holes in the curtains and ironing board cover also was in disrepair.

Not the worst place I’ve stayed…but certainly not the best. It is NOT in Old Town Scottsdale. It sits next to an adult toy shop a block from a cabaret. Also RIGHT next to a car wash and you hear loud vacuums going off constantly. The photos are deceptive. It’s stale. Low vibe. The front desk has a bed behind it. The rooms are stark. Stale. Not one a piece of art on the walls. The door molding was broken off. The sheets were stained. Functional for sleeping a night but not a nice place to spend time. Would never stay there again.

This motel should be removed from Expedia. The nastiest motel I’ve ever stayed at. I was supposed to be there five nights but left after one, without getting a refund. Holes in the door, stains all over the ground, black dirt or dust all over the air vents. Dead bugs in the room. The most run down motel you can imagine.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The room was absolutely disgusting and we had to check out early. I had the manager walk the room and they agreed because of condition. I am working with Hotels.com to get a refund. I saw the reviews were somewhat low, but I’ve never seen anything like it. The drains were completely clogged with hair and would not drain at all so we could not take showers or even wash our hands. There was mold in many different places in the room, the sheets are dirty, the chair was dirty, the floors were disgusting. There is a car wash next-door that blast music starting at 7 AM so you will wake up to that. I got management and had them walk-through the room and they said they were having problems with the cleaners ??? but they rented it to me anyways ??? thought I could save a little bit of money and be close to old town and it was a big mistake. Do not stay here, I should’ve turned around and walked away when I was checking in when I saw that the front desk person sleeps in a bed behind the front desk and there is a basic washer/dryer that they are doing the laundry in so it’s not getting clean or sanitized. My bad, we were in a hurry, unloaded our luggage and went to a concert. I am not picky, as I hunt and stay in a lot of different motels and hotels, but this was beyond anything I’ve ever seen.

Room smell like cigarette , the door handle was broken spoke to manager and ask to get it fixed because didn’t feel comfortable having a door can be easily open without a key card.

Nothing. After booking 3 x abs given 2 rooms I demanded a refund and I left and had to find a new hotel at 10:30 at night. Horrible hotel Everything! Front desk very rude. Room wasn’t even booked when I got there. He claimed no reservation. Rebooked and room was disgusting, lights didn’t turn on, refrigerator was hot, phone in room didn’t work and reeked of smoke. Went back to front and got another room. A bit cleaner but no refrigerator at all, no ice bucket, shower gross and numerous police cars on property and knocking on doors looking for people do serve warrants. It was unsafe, dirty, not welcoming & a horrible experience. Now I’m still fighting to get my refund as i did not state there and the hotel assured me I would be refunded in full.

The room had no phone , refrigerator or adequate wifi. There was paint chipping from every corner and various visible repairs.

Location and price is the main thing the property has going for it. Staff doesn’t seem happy to be working there and aren’t as welcoming but at the same time weren’t rude to me or anything negative. I also read reviews about how dirty the floors were and those turned out to be true. I brought Clorox cleaning wipes and wiped the floors down because the floors were grainy with dirt and I threw my socks away that touched the floors.

I got into the shower in the morning, zero slip graud in the shower/tub flooring. I slip in the tub and fell onto the toilet. At this point I took my time to regain my balance, finished the shower. I proceeded carefully load my car, looked into the office windows, dropped the key in the drip box and left. Formality one of the main reasons for visiting Arizona was to see a spinal, neck specialist for damages of the spinal cord injuries. I can't express my regrets in the hotel stay yet the manger noise coming from his back home, sleeping area kept me up late lastnight. I truly don't like to leave such negative comments but the management should be aware. I would like to point out the hotel staff said the release of the security deposit would not be released 7 days later. Surprising yet it's true. Nothing. Booked the wrong hotel.

No breakfast Wi-Fi doesn’t work. The guy at the front desk was sleeping and it took a long time for him to wake up and for me to check into my room. He was actually snoring very loud when I called to see if anyone was there he picked up and hung up the phone didn’t say a word three times. I didn’t like the dog barking all day and night next door or the car wash place that’s right over the wall that people are blasting music and podcasts or the front desk person who sits there all day and doesn’t shower at all. It stinks in there or why is this hotel, not updated at all given the location that it’s in.

The location was good. The guy who checked us in was not friendly. The room was dirty. The floor was gross. My husband walked barefoot from the bathroom to the bed and his feet were black. The beds were old and uncomfortable. The ceiling had water stains on it. They force a deposit $100 but would not take cash and charged $5 fee for processing card. Will never stay here again.

I use Expedia so motel's like this can not steal from me. However, this motel found a way. They charged $100 deposit and only returned $95, claiming an administrative fee. This reflects negatively on Expedia as well as this location. I would recommend not staying here and not using Expedia because they do not protect you against thieves like this.

It has an adult store right next door, and people sitting on a wall by it; looked creepy in the area. We wanted to leave, but chanced it. Slept gud, and no bedbugs here. At least the restroom was clean, and beds were comfy. Deposit for this place was not mentioned except it said pay $5.00 at the office. Paid $100.00 deposit here. It was a quiet stay, and we won't reserve room here again. Foreign Indians run this place and you can smell the aroma and spices they cook with through the walls.

We walked to Old Town at 11pm on a Sat night and felt completely safe. The front desk staff was great. It was clean and fleshly painted. The bed was really comfortable. I'm used to sleeping under a blanket. I like the weight on me. I could have used a blanket. We were in the back unit so the road traffic noise was less for us.

The owner or property manager or whoever it was desk agent must’ve had a very terrible day because he took it out on me when I tried to check in forced me to go find somewhere else, I think he is Middle Eastern descent, terrible representative of this property

The mattresses are absolutely disgusting. I lifted up the fitted sheet to find out what the large mattress lumps were, and discovered the mattresses are thoroughly stained with bodily fluids, worn out / lumpy, and there is no protective or waterproof layer. Its just the mattress and a thin sheet you sleep on

The door jam was broken like somebody tried to kick it in, And I could see daylight looking through the front door because it was barely on the hinges. The walls were very dirty, And we were afraid to walk around on the floor, barefoot. The shower has many voids in the grout and water is leaking into the wall. The one chair for the desk had duct tape on the arm rests. I noticed housekeeping, cleaning the room next-door. The beds were stripped, and there was many stains on the mattresses. I was afraid to look under my sheets After that. The room is a four person occupancy room and there were only two towels. But my sheets were clean the TV was OK. And it did have a mini fridge that froze everything, Pretty sure the thermostats broken on that cause I turned it all the way down, And a microwave. I forgot to mention the front planters did not have plants in them only weeds. And the location is between a Wendy’s and an adult store. I only stayed there because it was cheaper than anything else and it was two blocks from the venue I was attending. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

And it did have a mini fridge that froze everything, Pretty sure the thermostats broken on that cause I turned it all the way down, And a microwave. I forgot to mention the front planters did not have plants in them only weeds. And the location is between a Wendy’s and an adult store. I only stayed there because it was cheaper than anything else and it was two blocks from the venue I was attending. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

The motel was old and outdated. Cheapest hotel for the area. Tub was rusted and peeling by the faucet. Toilet seat was very loose and almost dangerous.Paint peeling off the wall. The staff checking me in was super friendly and courteous. The first room had a sink backed up but staff got me to a new room right away. I’d stay here again.

Extremely nice budget hotel - I have stayed at several budget hotels since September and this is, by far, the best. WiFi service was super, spacious room and overall very nice.

The staff was very helpful and considerate. I didn't tell them, but I was checking in due to an unexpected incident at home and was feeling very down. The staff member was personable and welcoming, going the extra mile, and it made a major difference. If needs be I'll be extending my stay, if possible, and thanks to the accommodations, I look forward to it.

I drove for 9 hrs from ca n got there around 11pm. Hotels said I would pay $20 at the counter but this guy charged me $100 in addition to my stay fee. When I told him the site indicated $20, he turned around n went into room… I was forced to pay since it was late at night n I had my son in the car. He gave me a room in an isolated area. Once in room, walls had stains n so did the water faucet. Bed was comfortable. But I will never stay here again. Oh , when packing my car, another visitor stated the guy in office was so rude to him… ppl… don’t stay herr

Rodeway Inn was adequate based on the nightly rate. The lighting in the bedroom and vanity area were somewhat dim. Possible switching to LED bulbs with high light output. The plumbing in the shower/tub should be repaired/replaced; excessing leaking when the water is turned on.

My room was clean, the bed was fine, and the AC was cold. The man who checked me in was friendly and helpful. That being said this is Old Town Scottsdale in name only. It’s wedged in between an adult bookstore and a car wash. The primary issue would be security. Don’t stay here. We checked in, walked into the room and immediately turned around and left to find another place to stay. The room smelled horrible - stale cigarettes and god knows what else. Very dirty inside and very unsafe area.

There was medical grade scissors and clamps left under the bed, the trash wasn’t emptied and full of drug paraphernalia (foil and residue from smoking fentanyl), someone’s lingerie and the floor was so dirty when I got out of the shower, the mat in front of the tub turned black. Nobody was available in the front office the entire time

Good bed and a fridge with good pressure and temp from the shower. Caution, the price means you will have low income travelers next to you and all that comes with them. Location is good with plenty of eating establishments near by. I will stay here again.

I live stayed at this hotel before and didn’t have any problems. This time after making a reservation which was confirmed we headed to the hotel.we got there a bit after midnight. Mind you I’ve Che med in in the past at the same time with no issues. This night the sign in the wi doe gave a phone number to call for assistance. I called for I’d say a good hour and a half and not once did anyone answer or return any of my messages. The end result was no room and wasn’t able to get refunded, and Expedia wasnt at all helpful.

Overall a safe and easy stay. Only trouble is the car wash place next door seems to think it is ok to play the music loud into the evening. They do turn it down when asked but still an annoyance. Other than that all good.

The stay was good the place is a little rustic but ok. Don't try to check in early it isn't allowed.

Thought I was going to enjoy it but when I got there I paid for a suite right more money for suite . And he decided to give me the smaller room . And I told him hey man I got a suite he looks again like he didn’t see it the first time . Had the nerve to ask me are you going to be using the kitchen area ! Like that’s none of your business but I told him yes then he ask can you cook !! Like wow and when it came down to just having my uncle over because I having issues with a place to stay rn. The bad teeth front desk guy told me no visitors at all a don’t be going in an out the room !!! Like what th fu#* and then said if you do not like that then leave rn !! So rude an I felt so disrespected

This was a really wonderful place to stay, especially considering the price. Amazing value for a quick stay. We had to arrive very late (11pm) for my wife’s surgery the next morning. Check-in was easy and fast, staff was very friendly and nice and didn’t even take a deposit. Property was newly updated & painted and felt very clean and nice for a $70 room.

A good bang for the buck. It took me a while to figure out the shower as the hot water is only accessible when you barely turn the handle on. I saw a couple of small bugs and there were some minor repair issues in the room.

Gut in the front who was never actually at the front desk was very rude and inconsiderate. Was never at his post and used profanity around my young kids and looked like he was always doing something suspicious

This was a bait and switch. The pictures of the room were nothing like the actual room itself. The majoity of the outlets were not functional, the night stand lights did not work, and the bed coverings were subpar The area was somewhat transient and the staff was not around…nor did they answer the phones. Horrible stay especially for the $$ spent…..it wasn’t worth $50/night vs the $137…..Expedia should vet these places before allowing them to list

First, there were no blankets on the beds just one regular sheet and one heavy sheet. No extra blankets were provided. The shower curtain was torn and the bathroom smelled of mildew. The additional lock on the door was non-functioning. The floors were dirty (As witnessed on bottom of our socks!) There was paint peeling off the wall. All the hangers have been removed from the closet bar. In the middle of our stay (we were there two nights), the refrigerator gave out and the frosted over freezer section melted all over the floor (which we did mop up with a towel that was filthy when we finished). Housekeeping did deliver fresh towels, the first morning, but did not take the soiled ones. The good news is we were quite busy and didn’t spend much time in the hotel room.

Property was conveniently located near Old Town Scottsdale. Room was clean, Towels were nice and heavy; internet was Great and Room had 55" TV, Fridge and Microwave. Outside appearance looked older.

There was a terrible strong sickening room spray smell in the room. Also there was only one flimsy thin coverlet on the bed with no blankets .. it was not enough to keep you warm. We slept with our coats over us. Bad choice. I did not check reviews b4 I reserved.

Hotels.com agent was not helpful in assisting me and wanted me to go in a speak with hotel manager. Totally clueless.

It was gross and well below the standard I expect from Hotels.com. My tiny little room looked like a shed behind someone’s garage. No one manned the office. Only a piece of paper taped to the door with a phone number “in case you need anything”. I couldn’t find out the WiFi until the 2nd day. I didn’t realize there were no blankets (just a single sheet) on the bed. A wall heater blew out hot air for 30 seconds then shuts off. No shampoo or other products just a stick of soap. Etc, etc. You should take this OFF your site.

This hotel is filthy. The floor was sticky, the sink was broken, paint is peeling off the walls and the mirror was broke. We had to change rooms because the front door was broken and couldn't lock. The second room we had reeked like an ashtray. The front door looked like it had been damaged and was fixed with a few drywall screws. It was terrible.

When I get there I was asked if I had pets. I said I had a dog. They said “we don’t allow pets”. I let them know I spoke to someone earlier who said they did allow pets at a charge. “No pets.” I asked “What about about the person I spoke to on the phone a few hours ago?” They said “Every rodeway inn has their own pet policy.” “I understand that but I was told you allow pets or I wouldn’t have booked it otherwise.” “…” Bait and switch. I was dumbfounded. They showed no empathy whatsoever. Told me I had to contact Expedia to get a refund. Expedia has tried to reach out to them several times of the past couple of weeks and they still haven’t responded. Idk what type of shape the motel is in but don’t do business with them just based off how they treat people.

The room was disgusting. We would have left if we could have gotten our money back. We went to CVS and bought a pack of disposable disinfectant wipes and wiped everything. I have never done that in my life and am not a germaphobe. I didn't use disinfectant during entire COVID pandemic.The bathtub had not been cleaned and was full of soap scum. There was sticky syrup left on nightstand.Tons of cigarette butts outside the room. One bed didn't have a blanket and the other had a thin blanket. The air conditioner was very musty so we couldn't run the heater. The door, door knobs and light switches were sticky and dirty. There were people staying in the hotel who looked like homeless drug addicts. There were black stains on the wall typical of meth pipe smoke. We honestly were so uncomfortable that we had trouble sleeping. The hotel is next to an adult toy store. Feels creepy. The worst hotel I have ever been to and I will NEVER stay in a lower priced hotel again without looking at it. I honestly am still in shock.
