Reviews
The hotel is undergoing renovation, which has led to a mix of positive and negative experiences for guests. While some guests appreciate the spacious rooms and good breakfast, others have faced issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and unavailability of amenities like the pool.
- Spacious rooms
- Good breakfast
- Under renovation, leading to unavailability of amenities like the pool
- Cleanliness and maintenance issues

Everything. It was closed down when I got to it. No option to transfer my stay. Just a refund and figure out another place on a budget. Not easy
- 2/5
It was difficult to find using Waze. Hotel lobby was clean but elevator and hallways were dirty. The rooms were kept up better than other areas. They were doing some outside painting and I guess slowly getting ready for inside. I was not happy about this hotel and after an 11 hour drive, it was too late to change hotels.
- 5/5
Good Location still needs some updating, the Girl at the Front Desk was great, I forget her name but I remember she was from the Philippines and had a great personality
- 2/5
Property was in the process of closing down the following week for a rebranding effort. It was in need of basic maintenance/repair, "breakfast" was marginal, carbo rich lacking any protein. Front desk personnel were mostly unfriendly and unhelpful. Expedia needs to do better due diligence before listing properties.
- 4/5
The stay was nice but i wished i had known about reconstruction. I am a single female and although no one bothered me, it didnt feel so comfortable staying in a somewhat deserted hotel. The hot tub was nice and hot.The staff was kind.
- 3/5
The staff could be nicer and more forgiving about the situation, but they act like everything is normal and it is always this bad. Based on observation of the breakfast area we ate elsewhere.
- 5/5
Great staff! And the pool was very nice
- 4/5
Great value. Great location!
- 4/5
The ac in the room wasn’t the best besides that everything was good would I would book another stay there in the future
- 4/5
Could have used a microwave.
- 4/5
I loved the fact that there was a fridge in the room, which i did not expect there to be due to all the photos I looked at of the rooms did not show one. I do wish there had been a club chair to sit in.
- 1/5
When I asked the receptionist about it, the response I got was simply “I don’t know,” with no attempt to fix the issue. The cleanliness throughout the property was poor. The hallway had a bad smell, the elevator was dirty, and even the door leading to our hallway was filthy. The continental breakfast was also not good — the fruit seemed spoiled and the toaster was very dirty. At checkout, there was no acknowledgment of these issues and no effort to make it right. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
- 2/5
Did not use.
- 3/5
Arguing in front of customers staff at front desk, not professional room not clean for three days .. continental breakfast was awful dry cereal, and fruit doughnut….
- 2/5
Staff was the only thing that made the experience decent.
- 1/5
Hot tub not working. Elevators not working. Door wouldn’t completely lock. Front desk wouldn’t answer when called. The AC would turn off and on constantly but was the loudest AC unit ever so it kept waking me up. I never write reviews but the was the worst stay I’ve ever had. And the breakfast was donuts and yogurt.
- 1/5
Very poor
- 4.5/5
elevator was broke
- 3/5
The elevator was out of order, the washing machine took my quarters but didn't work until the maintenance man came and fiddled with it. There was no regular coffee for the Keurig in my room or towels by the pool. But the front desk staff was ready and willing to provide. All the employees I encountered were friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
Marketing Listing and amenities not aquarate. Not listed when booking for price in area was they are under construction, hot tub not working which was selling feature, elevator not working, there was garbage left out around property, and breakfast is only Continental should state such
- 3/5
Breakfast barely acceptable location excellent Made did not show up for the second day, elevator broke, and no one notified us or put a sign on the door. Donuts were stale had to go to front desk to get clean towels. Bathroom fan was intermittent Who
- 2/5
Had to wait 1 hour after check in time to get a room due to shortage of cleaners. Their only elevator was broken. Parking lot under construction. Looks like a child painted the lime green accents on building. Feels like a jail

There was a construction project which started right under my window at 5:00 am every morning!!!
- 3/5
Hotel was generally in lower than average condition. Room was ok but elevator didn't work when we left. No hot breakfast was basic muffins, donuts & bagels.

Nothing Outside was disgusting and dirty. Dirt and black all over the doors and walls.

Check in was a mess. I have to check my credit card statements to make sure I wasn’t double paying
- 2.5/5
We checked in the lady at the front desk, was not polite. She did not make her arrival comfortable as if we were bothering her. Also, the Jacuzzi was not working, but they had to sign that read out of order written with crayon. When we asked her about it, she said she had no idea her clue, but if that’s what the sign said, then I meant it was out of order. Very rude I like that the room was clean.
- 1/5
I told the night guy how gross it was, but apparently it was fine with him. I wiped the floor with the washcloths and it was black as can be, lol. Paint was missing/scratched on rooms door. At least the sheet seemed cleaned ;-). I don't even know why this place is on Expedia!!! that made me very mad tbh. And the quicker, $166 for the last minute room! Heck no ! $65 is what this place is worth, that you book it 10 days in advance or last minute!
- 1/5
What breakfast?? A few bagels and coffee.
- 4/5
Very good

No kitchen, no cooking
- 2/5
Parking good. Entrance tight due to current construction. Construction crew starting up loud equiptment at 6:15 a m is unacceptable. Room definately needs updating and deep cleaned. Needs paint. Bath tub rusty around faucet. Bathroom floor has been flooded, cement and tile cracked and unsafe. Mattress the WORST I’ve ever tried to sleep on. If I thought it would do any good I’d ask for my money back. Very disappointed.
- 4/5
Room clean pool clean, construction going on i think to add more parking not sure. This was our 2nd stay with them.
- 4/5
Hot tub was not working our last day. Parking was safe. Construction was going on when we were there.
- 5/5
Everything was great, but only thing was the hot tub was not hot at all but other then that all good. Thank you
- 3/5
The room was clean. There was a lot of construction going on around the hotel. They needed a new dresser as the drawers didn’t lineup. It felt a little cheap but the bed was very nice. I just needed an inexpensive place for one night and everything else nearby was $500 + enough so this fit the bill.
- 2/5
The carpets in the hallways must be replaced ASAP. The hotel is not clean. Water damage in the shower. The keys didn't work twice and needed to be replaced. The AC was loud as a helicopter. Add to all, there are 2 huge cellular antennas placed on the building. Final: take in consideration that the hotel is on the path of Scottsdale airport planes.
- 4/5
Good value for the price, room was pretty clean and bed was good, place is under renovations and alot of construction going on. A little tricky to find the entrance look for the Potbellies and turn immediately
- 5/5
It was nice.
- 1/5
Called on check in time -4pm, arrived after 4pm told rooms were not ready then given keys found it was a handicapped type room - called desk to get another room so not to use a handicapped one up, next room bathroom sink gap away from wall that silicone didn’t fill. Entry door dent/crack, bathroom wall cracks, wallpaper peeling. Booked 4 nights stayed 1 cancelled 3. Will not stay there again.
- 5/5
Parking was good and so were the rooms. I think the biggest difference is getting use to the elevator’s being outside.
- 3/5
The hotel was clean however it looked like it was falling apart. The elevator was sketchy a the “security” doors did not work so anyone could enter. The hot tub was not hot and did not work. My kids enjoyed the pool, that is probably the best amenity. The breakfast was cheap but the room was ok. The air worked great although it was loud. It was the economical choice for us and you get what you pay for.
- 5/5
Great location, helpful staff A little worn in places. Stains in the bathroom.
- 5/5

- 5/5
There was some construction in the front of the building
- 5/5
Hot tub and pool were great and open till 11pm. Clean room and friendly staff
- 2/5
Was very disappointed. Room smelled funny, hard to describe. Furniture was worn and beat-up. Beds were supposed to be queen, they were full size. Fitness room out of order and breakfast had very few choices. Whold place just looked shabby and unkept. Was not what I expected. Would definately not recommend.
- 1/5
The pictures are very deceiving. It does NOT look like the pictures on the internet at all. Not the outside or the rooms. The "first" room we were in, the air conditioning unit was loud and then when it clicked on to run, it was really loud. You could not sleep. At 1 am we moved to another room.
- 4/5
We did have to sweep the room because there was a lot of dirt and some trash in the room. Also the construction outside was not so appealing. But the staff was great.
- 3.5/5
Convenient location Under construction

- 4/5
The key to the front door took six or seven times to work. We had a hard time getting in the door every time we went back to the room. I told the front desk about it and they said they're going to be replacing the security system in the near future.
- 4/5
The elevator was making weird noise like it really needed some oil somewhere and our room one lamp did not have a light bulb.
- 4/5
Never got a chance to use the pool, but it looked good. Room cleanings were nonexistent, but the front staff were excellent.
- 2/5
We did enjoy the pool qnd hottub. I requested a room on 1st floor as i have emphysema, they gave us a room on 2nd floor, furthest from the elevator, the coffee maker didnt work and air conditioner cooled very little and was noisy all night, scraping noise. The bed was comfortable and nice tv.
- 1/5
No black out curtains. The air-conditioner was too noisy.
- 4/5
great people good rooms a little dated and no protein at the breakfast
- 4/5
bit shaggy looking but clean, good bed, and nice breakfast. parking lot under construction is temporary but still looks janky..
- 3/5
Only issue they are renovating so not fair to leave bad review however they need better breakfast options.
- 1/5
Horrible experience. Had to wait over an hour to get a room that was already confirmed and paid for. "Continental breakfast" was a joke. Cereal, old donuts, and frozen (undrinkable) orange juice.
- 4/5
This place is a hidden gem. With the renovations underway, I see it as a valuable option for common travelers with modern room designs at a great price. The rooms are very nice, clean and appealing white and gray themes. The hallways are being fitted with new, grey-wooded themes and rugs. The pool in the back is beautifully maintained, and we enjoyed swimming in it. It's too bad the hallway rugs on the 3rd floor had multiple stains, but I suspect this will be changed out with the renovations. Also, our room's bathroom needed attention. The water kept backing up in the tub while we showered, which was gross. And, the mirror and counter were damaged upon arrival. I was disappointed to learn the outside doors were not programmed to the keys on the 3rd floor, meaning anyone could enter from the outside doors. But, I felt the area was safe, and my room felt secure. I suspect some of these things will be improved as the renovations are complete. So, for the price, this was all okay. The continental breakfast was very basic, no hot eggs, bacon, etc.

Pictures are a poor representation of the overall condition of the hotel. It is in poor condition poorly kept up and is in need of a good G.I. bath or scrub down with brushes and sanitation walkways are filthy. Carpets are dirty in the areas that are carpeted and the elevator smells like an old mechanical piece of machinery breakfast Buffay well you just get a doughnut and some coffee that’s it. Have a nice day. Oh, maybe fruit or yogurt
- 4/5
The staff is very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
Clean
- 5/5
The spa was great.
- 3/5
The room was in fairly abysmal shape. Clearly there had been water damage and paint was peeling off the walls. The bathroom floor was squishy. Housekeeping did a good job overall, especially considering the situation.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice. Unfortunately there was construction going on in front of the hotel so it was hard to see where to pull in. Staff was courteous. They allowed me to check in. Early room was clean. Just a couple of things, key cars were giving us troubles. I had to go to front desk twice to get new cards. The water pressure and our shower was poor. But the pool was beautiful. The air condition in the room could have worked a little better. Overall the stay was pleasant. The location was ideal.
- 3/5
Staff were a little testy. Lobby and halls were worn and could use an update. The room was clean and everything was in working order. The neighborhood was a little rough. I feel the price was high for the overall experience.
- 3/5
great pool area, Wi-Fi kept up. friendly and welcoming staff!
- 3.5/5
Good
- 4/5
Clean towels not provided on2 day
- 2/5
The property was dirty outside, furniture dilapidated, walls unpainted, elevator dirty. The welcome mats were both grossly worn out. The nightstand was cracked and had paint chipping off from water damage. The toilet paper roll came undone easily dropping the roll. No towel rack by the sink, only in the shower room. But that rack was loose and indanger of following down. The paint stripping below showed that it had many times. Breakfast selection was paltry. 2 kiddie cereals only.
- 1/5
Absolutely disgusting hotel. Rooms are dirty, bugs everywhere beds on fit on frames, I have plenty of pictures of proof.
- 2/5
Unclean, rundown
- 5/5
Probably comparable to a Motel 6. No extra amenities but a clean room and really good, friendly service staff.
- 2/5
Breakfast ok but not many choices. Continental breakfast. Would not choose this place next time.
- 5/5
The room itself was nice. The pool area was wonderful. The breakfast was very basic. My only complaint is that there isnt room darkening covers over the windows and there is sooooo much light coming into the room all night long. It was like trying to sleep in the middle of the day.
- 4/5
The tub shower needed some drain cleaner. Tub would fill up when you showered
- 3/5
If you just need a place to bathe and sleep, this will do. The whole facility is run down and appears to not have seen a coat of paint or good scrubbing for years. I didn’t visit the pool but from a quick glance, it appeared to be the most well-kept part of the hotel. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The lampshades in my room were ripped and torn. The mini fridge quit working on the 2nd or 3rd day and the staff asked if I had used the hairdryer as that would trip the fridge outlet. The hairdryer was falling apart. Enough said?
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
.
- 3/5
Pool area good. Kitchen….. what can we say.
- 4/5
The pool and hot tub were awesome. Even just spending time pool side in the comfy cushioed chairs was nice and relaxing. Our AC was noisy, but a friend in another room had a quiet one. The beds were wonderful.
- 4/5
They are remodeling When that is done i am sure it will be fine
- 1/5
Front desk check in girl almost rude. Toilet seat was broken, small bathroom with limited towels. Worst of all was when I pulled the comforter back next morning there were stains.would not return!
- 1/5
Don't not stay here this place has bed bug!!!! Wish I could rate it a 0 with stars!!
- 1/5
Hotel is a motel 6. We reserved 2 queen bed, received 2 double beds. Our room keys didn’t work. Rooms were rough inside, walls and base boards were scuffed up, furniture is particle board, bathroom needs renovation. They charge a 100.00 deposit on arrival. The hallway had pieces of the wall falling down and laying in the hallway. I would not recommend.
- 3/5
The shower in my room had no pressure and the water did not get hot...just warm.....very dissapointing
- 2/5
Although the staff worked hard to get our rooms ready at the published check-in time of 3pm, we had to wait due to their being understaffed. The property is not well kept, and the photos in their listing are not representative of the property itself. I do not recommend staying here.
- 5/5
Great staff, clean spacious well appointed rooms, super convenient location, all amazing
- 2/5
Construction zone out front Tub does not drain No maid service / will only empty trash / give new towels- no cleaning, was there 5 nights No customer service, constantly on the phone many minutes with customers left waiting with no one to help them. Staff not knowledgeable about anything Breakfast toaster from 1973 with only 1 side working.
- 2/5
The hotel was rundown. The door was peeling. Paint carpet was dirty. Didn’t have any amenities and generally the place look rundown and I did not feel comfortable especially at $125 a night.
- 2/5
Shower backed up and hotel needs some updating.
- 1/5
Every part of this hotel was neglected. Staff was rude and short answered. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The pictures and reviews on expedia did not represent the quality and experience of this hotel properly. I would give them zero stars if it were a possibility.
- 3/5
Room is extremely basic with no safe or microwave.
- 3/5
Room was small but reasonably clean. Bathroom had no handicap bars jic. Sink in weird angle so couldn't wash face. Coffee pot didnt work in room.
- 3/5
The staff was polite. The breakfast serving area had broken equipment.
- 3/5
Room was OK but missing lightbulb and phone that did not work. The hotel manager was abusive and should be fired. The person who fixed the problems with my room, however, was wonderful.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was polite and helpful.
- 1/5
Despite cost of nearly $200/ night this hotel is thumbs down!!👎. It is in the process of being renovated so SOME things can be forgiven and overlooked, I’ll give them that. But overall it was NOT acceptable. Check-in took waaay too long- understaffed. Girl kept apologizing for the computer system- saying it’s very old and needs upgrading! Our room- the FURTHEST away from the elevator was not well maintained. Floors were dusty from construction dust, no light bulb in nightstand lamp, one entire wall of electrical outlets did not work! No hangars in closet cabinet, etc, etc! Breakfast was one of the poorest ever seen and we travel A LOT! So, In a word- AVOID!!!!!!
- 3/5
Room condition was good, staff friendly, hotel did not meet advertisement. In middle of construction. Really poor breakfast. Would rate as a 2 star hotel.
- 3/5
Room is okay but the corridor/hallway needs cleaning.
- 5/5
Great Staff any time of the day
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay!
- 4/5
No complaints except that the HVAC unit was excessively noisy - I eventually turned it off to stop interrupting my sleep.
- 3/5
The staff was pleasant and check in went well. In general the facility needs updating and cleaning in and out of the rooms. Has been under construction for at least a year now.
- 3/5
Rooms seem worn out. Perhaps under renovation? Scuffs, marks dings in floors, walls and elevator. Not enough towels to meet the number of people in the room. Positive is it was easy to get to and in a good location.
- 1/5
The most horrible place I have ever stayed. No cleaning of the room during your stay. The inly way you can get more bath towels is to take your dirty ones to the front desk and get more yourself. Not a safe place. Very sketchy.
- 5/5
Good place to stay
- 2/5
Front desk was great. But room was really dirty. Pee all over the toilet. Tv was filthy floor was dirty so was sink.
- 3/5
Nicely located very friendly staff great water pressure beds are a little flimsy And the tub didn’t drain well
- 1/5
Dirty is an understatement. Wall, counters, night stand all dirty. Blankets and towels stained, online pictures are photo shopped.
- 3/5
The entrance and the elevator are filthy, but my room was nice and clean.
- 2/5
The room was disgustingly dirty and most of the stuff was broken
- 3/5
The room and lobby area were clean. We had to ask for lightbulbs for the side bed tables (they were missing)! Also, there was no waste container that we could find in the room. Bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
for the better.
- 2/5
The grounds are littered with garbage, the floor in our until was filthy, we asked for a ground floor unit and were told we would have to pay $20 more, we have stayed there previously and there was no extra charge. The place is run down
- 2/5
Pool and hot tub were great that’s about it. Water pressure of shower was horrible. Towels felt like sandpaper. Took about 10 tries to get the magnetic key to open the door each time—that was very frustrating and staff said they know it’s a problem for all rooms. Then update it! Not worth $225 per night.
- 2/5
The hotel is undergoing some renovations but continues to attempt to keep up as a functioning hotel. The grounds are not kept up at all. Our room had a little porch area that was never cleaned and so it was dirty and dusty being on the ground floor. The room was clean. The linens were good, but there was no daily offering of room care at all. The service people at the desk were very attentive and capable. The daily breakfast that was offered had a nice array of multiple items to choose from, but there was no prepared food, i.e. potatoes or eggs. I would not choose to go here again.
- 5/5
The staff from the front desk to housekeeping was very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our stay and it was a perfect place to stay to watch the Phoenix open golf tournament. Easy Uber ride, nice and close. The beds were the most comfortable we've ever stayed in, and lots of high-pressure hot water! Also, being so close to the airport, we didn't hear a thing, and we are on the top floor! We'll definitely stay here again. The paint on the walls in the bath I need to be touched up a bit though...
- 1/5
The only ok I could give this place is the proximity to TPC. Other than that, terrible. Our AC didnt work, the house keeping people barged in our room at 9 am when we told them not to, the "continental breakfast" is absolutely not that, your lucky to get a muffin and a coffee, the room smelled like old gym socks and we were called on our last morning there asking when we were leaving. This place sucks!
- 5/5
Friendly staff great location
- 2/5
No trashcan in room, stained bed linens, broken inside door handle, covered smoke detector, boogers left on the wall in the bathroom!
- 5/5
Staff was helpful and personable. Room was clean. Good value for the money.
- 5/5
Staff was helpful and personable. Room was clean. Good value for the money.
- 4/5
The bathroom baseboard had indication the water struck and caused paint to flake off exposing the baseboard underlayment. There was a number of high power antennas adjacent to the elevator and may cause interference to anyone with RF sensitive medical devices.
- 4/5
Room was good, staff was great. Pool and hot tub were sure nice! Can’t wait to see the hotel with renovation done.
- 4/5
Pool and Hot tolub in great shape (though the hot tub water seemed due for cleaning) Elevator is in dire need of service as it shakes in the way down!! Towels and room cleaning only on demand, which is good - cost impact and environment in a water limited state).
- 5/5
The staff were helpful and friendly! Hotel clean and they provided a good breakfast!
- 2/5
The staff were good, but this was the 4th time we’ve stayed at this hotel and it’s gone downhill fast. The elevator was very shaky, the shampoo and lotion bottles were super small, and Saturday morning we were awaken by construction - this among other things made it a lousy stay there.
- 4/5
Room clean, hallway nice, staff friendly. Breakfast just pastry, coffee, juice, yogurt and some cold cereal and oatmeal pouches.Construction fence around the front of hotel but never heard noise. Great safe location and can walk to food places. Hot tub and pool nice but have to ask for towels. Stair case and landing need painting. Would stay here again. Good price but just basic.

Booked The Revival in Scottsdale, AZ based on the photos and description listed online. What I arrived to was nothing close to what was advertised. The property was actively under construction, which was not disclosed during booking. Staff professionalism and appearance were poor, and the overall condition of the property was unacceptable. When entering the room, the door barely opened because it hit one of the beds. Once inside, the room was very dirty, outdated, and poorly maintained. Bed frames were falling apart and the room did not feel clean or safe to occupy. I immediately requested a refund and was told the hotel could not assist and that I had to contact Hotels.com. After driving 2.5 hours, I was forced to leave around 10:00 PM and find another hotel last minute. Hotels.com attempted to contact the property but was unable to reach them. Despite clear misrepresentation and unacceptable conditions, they only offered a $50 voucher instead of issuing a proper refund. This experience was extremely frustrating and misleading. Advertising this property in its current condition is deceptive. I would not recommend this hotel and strongly advise others to avoid booking here until renovations are complete and listings accurately reflect reality.
- 4/5
Room was clean but overwhelming smell of Fabuloso(cleaner). Continental breakfast was just that-pastries and cereal. It was VERY convenient to my primary destination. I will utilize again.
- 1/5
Under construction. No access to gym. Very expensive. Would never stay there again.
- 1/5
Dirty, beat up. Wife refused to stay. We left immediately and lost all the money since we pre-paid. Pictures don’t represent the reality.
- 3/5
Pool and hot tub were well kept, rooms were dated and worn but the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was basic. Lots of construction on the property and the fitness room was closed.
- 5/5
Staff members were super cool
- 4/5
Safe area - quieter part of the city
- 5/5
in the throes of remodeling, the entrance is hidden on the side.....we had to call the front desk to figure out where it is!! the room are a bed a chair a desk a shower bath...you do have a coffee maker and a fridge too..ample closet space and drawer room..this is a stripped down place to hang your hat - and the price reflects that!! the continental breakfast sufficed...the staff is outstanding!!! for no other reason than how professional and helpful each one who sat at the front desk was, and so were the cleaning people!! we will be back....
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
I was staying from out of state and they made very good accommodations for me. I needed my room changed to a bottom level and they did that and I had a service at mall and they were great about it. The hotel was very clean. I would recommend.
- 5/5
Price was half of neighboring hotels so I was suspicious. It was clean, bed was nice, nice TV, and just fine. It was basic but well worth it.
- 1/5
Booked Comfort suites in scottsdale, RSVP was changed without my approval to Rvival which i could not get in the hotel due to a major constractions surronding the hotel

Staff was nonexistent with a rude demeanor. No customer service at all. Shocked with a $100 deposit fee at check in and didn’t return it at checkout. They said give it a week. Why do they get to keep the deposit?? Check in took 20 minutes cause no one was around. Typical of the weekend. Room was very small and stark furnishings. Very noisy cause it is a block from the airport. AVOID this place.
- 3/5
The room is nice but they take forever to give your $100 deposit back. I’m still waiting
- 5/5
The Jacuzzi OMG !! Was excellent Felt and worked Amazing. The breakfast didn’t consist of any hot entrées but after eating it for a few days then adding my entrée I really appreciate it
- 5/5
Great room and staff
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
El desayuno muy malo Nunca hacen servicio a las habitaciones si lo se pide en general muy malo
- 1/5
Unhelpful and not friendly customer service. Inadequate breakfast choices
- 5/5
Clean room , front desk was very helpful. They are renovating the outside.
- 1/5
The room I booked was not available. Per check in clerk- Orbitz sent over for single king bed instead of 2 beds. No other rooms available
- 1/5
Absolutely horribly. Made a reservation, drove 2.5 hours away, Hotels.com canceled it while i was driving and Rivial Filled the last room. Both were not helpful oraccommodating. Very inconvenient, will never book with either again!!!and we wer
- 4/5
Nice rooms
- 3/5
Room was ok
- 2/5
The hotel had good reviews when I booked it but it is in need of serious repairs. The outside is dirty and dingy. The elevator was disgusting. The rooms were dirty l mold in the shower.
- 4/5
Staff was very courteous. facility is just OK.
- 3/5
Yes
- 5/5
Room was clean, restaurants were close by
- 2/5
It was terrible. I would not stay there again.
- 5/5
The staff is amazing here. So friendly and honest.
- 4/5
yes all good
- 4/5
Great for the price. Was more than expected. Parking was fine. Front desk seemed to be dis-interested when I mentioned that, even though not allowed in the room, guest were smoking (and I don't mean cigarettes) on the balconies/common areas. If a property is no smoking, then ensure that guest who don't smoke don't have to put up with smells that linger throughout the hallways, etc.
- 5/5
No issues, here minus the $100 deposit.
- 5/5
Staff were polite and room was clean and quiet. I loved that you have extra security to get into the hallway after getting out of the elevator. Will be booking again.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Everything was clean and was a good stay. Helpful guests
- 1/5
Room’s tinier than advertised. Bathroom small. Shower awful, no house keeping.
- 3/5
It was under construction during our stay and a little confusing to get into. The room was OK however it was very loud and we heard our neighbors until late hours of the evening
- 2/5
Didn't find the pool. Lots of construction going on. The rooms were too small for two beds. The room had two twin beds. The front door would only open 1/2 way open because the bed was in the way. (That's how small the room was) Breakfast was poor. No eggs, or protein.
- 5/5
Hotel and room was nice and personally people were nice
- 3/5
The room had a nasty smell that wouldn’t go away. There was an even nastier smell when you turn the water on in the sink. Saw the housekeepers smoking right outside the door to the room they were cleaning which is why the non smoking rooms smell like smoke. Breakfast is all cheap stuff with no protein option. Package oatmeal and yogurt, dry donuts. No options for a diabetic.
- 3/5
Room is very small, but clean. The exterior, hallways are dirty and old.
- 1/5
Rude front desk person. Person starting a fight in parking lot was reported to front desk person and they said " nothing we can do"and they said
- 2/5
Gave me key to wrong room
- 4/5
Room was clean. The hotel is dated, but very convenient. Kinda like a motel but rooms are accessed by an interior hallway. It was good for the price.
- 4/5
Walkways and elevators needed some attention. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 2/5
When you would take a shower the water would dripped outside. We had a hard time opening the door to our room.
- 3/5
Hotel photos aren’t accurate. It’s old and being remodeled hotels.com misrepresented the property Nice staff good location
- 1/5
When I walked into this room, it smelled like rotten eggs. I've never been asked to sign something stating.I will not steal
- 3/5
Older motel and overall clean but no frills.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, plenty of parking space.
- 3/5
Wasn’t what the pictures advertised. Was under construction
- 3/5
The rooms were so small that the door hit the bed when you opened the door and you had to squeeze in. The regular chair not the office chair, was by the sink. No room beside or between the beds for it. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Phone in room did not work.
- 5/5
The hotel is $100/night, but clean rooms and cold AC
- 5/5
walkin shower
- 5/5
going through construction but still good
- 4/5
Clean room, but pressure of shower not strong. Bathroom had stains from leak on panels. But overall clean
- 3/5
Rooms were ok, couldnt open door all the way due to it hitting the bed. Sink backing up randomly. Not a huge deal you can still wash hands but had to spit in toilet or shower when brushing. For over 150 a night, thats too much considering all this. The pool was really nice and very clean! Staff were amazing! I liked staying there great location to take an uber anywhere.
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable and it was safe and nice.
- 4/5
Staff was nice and polite,
- 2/5
Key cards kept deactivating, had to change rooms 3 times, 1st door handle broke, 2nd not clean third had no microwave and coffee maker wouldnt work. Not a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
Pool and hot tub are sparkling clean Free breakfast
- 5/5
Great hotel for the money.
- 3/5
The elevator was out no one mentioned that on the website. It looks like they’ve been going through mass construction the room we were in was fine. It was clean, but the air conditioner would kick on and sound like an airplane was taking off. It would do this every 5 to 10 minutes All through the night kept waking us up. It was very loud.
- 3/5
AC unit made a noise the whole time
- 3/5
Staff was good. Front area of hotel under construction. Heavy scent of cleaning fluid in room
- 4/5
staff were helpful/corteus -room was clean
- 4/5
Clean room, polite staff.
- 2/5
The room was to small with tje amout of furniture that was in there. Some items/furniture was broke or damaged. They had construction going on. The breakfast was not good.
- 3/5
Overall ok, older building and our toilet broke in the morning and
- 3/5
Very nice area . Only thing was the smaller airplanes would fly right over the property .the a/c made loud noise. Quiet other than the planes
- 2/5
When I booked this hotel they did not tell us that it was under renovation. The toilet paper holder and the elevator were broken. With the construction there was dust everywhere when you walked out of your room during the day. The room looked nothing like the pictures.
- 5/5
Love this Hotel! The staff are amazing and the rooms are clean and Starbucks is right nextdoor!
- 4/5
Elevator needs to be repaired. Asking guests to use the stairs with luggage is difficult.
- 3/5
The bathroom fixtures were not fastened firmly to the wall in room...towel holder, tp holder, etc. An easy fix which the cleaning person should notice and report.
- 2/5
Hotel was okay. No working elevator so having to climb three flights of stairs with three small children was less than ideal. Also got charged for the deposit twice. Have not received refund yet and was told I’d receive it in 3-7 business days
- 5/5
I was very pleased at the quality of the property for the price point. It was nice to not have a tiny fridge as well. It also had the largest flat screen for a 2-3 star property. I can see why it was the highest rated lower cost property to the Mayo.
- 5/5
Excellent staff.
- 2/5
Had we known in advance.... there were other choices we would have made for our four night stay. Yikes!
- 5/5
Safe secure venue
- 2/5
Comforter has stains. Toilet paper holder is so crooked it's actually funny. Baseboards and corners are dirty and stained with age. The room just looks worn and gross overall.
- 4/5
Good hotel. Pretty solid overall. They promote a free breakfast and it's basically a continental breakfast. Toast, coffee, Danishes, and yogurt. Other than the unclear promotion of breakfast it was a pretty decent place.
- 1/5
The elevator was broken and they put us on the 2nd floor. We couldn't get the door open wide enough to bring in a cooler because the bed was too close to the bed and the second room they put us in had a broken bed. I would like to get all my money back on this reservation.
- 1/5
The omly reason this place sucks is because the business owners are greedy and skimp out on everything. The place is falling apart. Elevator did not work. Wallpaper peeling off walls. Cracks everywhere. Overpriced Not a good location. Food desert. Everything is super overpriced. You can get a much better place for the same price near the airport or in Tempe. Scottsdale people are stuck up and bigoted.

- 1/5
Evening front desk employee was rude, condescending & unfit for customer relations. Room was dirty, bed was uncomfortable, elevators were not working, theres construction on site, shower ceiling was leaking had to change room. Overall, the worst place I've stayed in Scottsdale
- 3/5
Elevator not working under construction. But rooms were clean and staff was friendly
- 1/5
I was in the room about 30 minutes before the alarm went off! It was VERY, VERY loud and went on for a LONG time! We had to go outside because the sound was hurting our ears. Other guests were coming out of their rooms, as well, holding their hands over their ears. In about 15-20 minutes, it went off again! My husband went to the front desk to inquire about it. The same rude woman was there and she said it was posted that the alarm might go off. Yes, it was posted, but the notice said this would happen up to 4:00 PM. It was now 5:30 PM! “Well, she said, there was nothing she could do about it.” Really? Absolutely NO concern? I will NOT ever stay at crappy Revival Scottsdale Studios again!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly
- 5/5
Great location
- 1/5
THE PROPERTY. SMELLS. IT IS LIKE THE BATES MOTEL.....
- 2/5
Under construction. Elevator broken, Gym closed. First room shower broken. Second room one bed broken, poor water pressure. Internet spotty.
- 2/5
The male with the green hair was so unprofessional. the rooms SMELL AND THE BATHRROM IS DISGUSTING. THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT BE RENTING. I WILL POST ON ALL WEB SITES
- 5/5
In my opinion front desk staff at noght should be less judgemental, just becauae a guest ahows up with a back pack straight out of work doesn't make that guess a homeless person.
- 3/5
It was okay for 2 days. Minimal breakfast but price was right.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
Room was nice but tv was difficult to work. Also on third floor and elevator was broken. This wasn’t communicated prior to booking.
- 4/5
The breakfast does leave a bit to be desired…
- 4/5
The room was clean, staff helpful & polite. Love the pool & hot tub with xlnt hours. There was construction out front that made finding and parking at the place more difficult.
- 3/5
The room was nice and clean but the AC took a while to get the room cooled. A nice stay for a short trip!
- 5/5
Excellent services
- 3/5
They need to up their breakfast experience drastically. Rooms are so-so. Pool is very clean and nice.
- 4/5
Room was small but very clean. Major renovations going on but no noise even being at the end of the runway at the Scottsdale airport. We would return.
- 5/5
nice pool and hottub
- 5/5
Nice room. Very quiet. Like the little gated patio to sit outside. Will stay here again.
- 4/5
Great airport hotel
- 4/5
Great price for Scottsdale. Didn’t realize it was a Motel but it seemed pretty secure. The elevators were not working so they let me change to a ground floor room. Cute little courtyard with a gate for each room. The updates were just okay but the bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was clean but the shower head was terrible!!! No water pressure and the smoker smell from next door wafting into my room are my only complaints. I would stay again if I needed to.
- 3/5
Rooms are nice but hotel is still under renovation. Elevator didn’t work. The breakfast was just bagels and muffins and bad coffee.
- 5/5
The rooms were dated but comfortable
- 2/5
There was a problem with the computer when I was giving my deposit. I had to scan my card 3 times and my credit card company reported that $100 was withdrawn all 3 times
- 1/5
The elevator was out of order and there wasn’t more than 5 cars in the parking yet the front desk lady decided that it would be a bright idea to place me with my 2 kids on the last floor. This made it hard since we had to go up and down the stairs!
- 3/5
Poor internet
- 5/5
Everything was fine.
- 3/5
Construction going on. Needs work.
- 4/5
Great price/good value. Nice to have a pool and hot tub. The overall exterior condition of the property was just OK; it could use some upgrading.
- 3/5
room clean had a problem with tv but she came up and switched rooms for me very quick . my biggest complaint i was put on the 3rd floor am on disability was told the only rooms open but no working elevator it was difficult to go up and down if i had known i would have gone else where and also what up with a $100 security deposit on arrival after already paying do not stay here
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Great little hotel. Clean rooms and clean all hard floors perfect for always having bare feet inside. Room was on bottom floor and had a great patio with table and chairs small enclosure with short wall and little gate very cool little hotel.
- 1/5
Our trip to Phoenix was to take my family member to one of the clinics for medical purposes. The morning of my check in we received a call letting us know our appointment was cancelled due to Insurance reasons So, unfortunately we had to cancel the reservation. When I called and spoke to agent at the hotel they said I needed to reach out to Hotels.com and so I did and I let them know I had proof. The next day I received an email saying they denied my request. This was upsetting due to the fact that it was our choice to cancel this stay, the decision was made for us.
- 5/5
Construction during stay.
- 5/5
I stay here often and it’s easy, safe and clean. I know they are remodeling so I cannot give a proper review because of course it’s going to have dirty carpet or doors that aren’t working and the elevator out of service .
- 2/5
Construction being done.
- 4/5
Room was clean and hotel was close to many shops
- 5/5
After they changed the name of the hotel they took away the nice continental breakfast. Overall, nice place to stay.
- 5/5
Great stafd
- 4/5
There is still some construction going on but still very pleasant stay. Amazing staff is making a big difference.
- 1/5
Terrible terrible they keep your deposit and refuse to let you talk to a higher up or give corporate a call
- 1/5
Terrible absolutely awful worst staff ever!! I’m warning everyone this place is a joke they keep your deposit no matter what and they are the rudest people I have ever dealt with
- 1/5
Apparently if the towels have to be washed , you get to buy them!! 2 towels for $100… fyi you don’t get the towels! No they keep them and they go right back into rotation!! My room had ants like hundreds. I asked for ant spray a broom but nope they had nothing and offered no help. They did suggest I use water and wipe up the mess with the towels. They even gave me two more towels when I brought the ant filled ones back up to the front desk! This place is a joke and doesn’t belong in Scottsdale
- 3/5
Overall felt pretty bare-bones. The breakfast was very basic, no hot foods. Muffins, bagels, yogurt. We were at a couple's retreatment so we really were only here to sleep and change, so it worked for what we needed, but I wouldn't recommend it.
- 4/5
It was very quiet
- 3/5
Ignoring the blatant misrepresentation on the Expedia description, the construction that is not mentioned, the additional deposits that were not disclosed on Expedia, but were required at check-in, the demagnetized keys every time they were used, and the lack of knowledge by the front desk clerk, this was an ok property. Clean, good parking, decent area.
- 3/5
Cheap stay. Room clean and updated. Common areas/halls need cleaned and updated.
- 5/5
Great stay for the price!
- 4/5
The location and parking was decent the pool and hot tub and surrounding area seem clean, but there was quite a bit of construction going on that was not listed when we booked
- 5/5
Breakfast is awesome! Clean and comfy even with the construction going on.
- 1/5
We had a fan in our car since we are relocating, we just got our fan and adjusted, 06-07-25, checkin & 30 pm, whoever it is please learn to talk to customers after all we are trusting and paying you, it was long tired day and when we stop by for our stay, make ur arrangements and prepare the room before since we book the room early, don't give the answers saying room is not prepared we wana save power so didn't turn on ac, it is Arizona it will take time for room to get cooled
- 5/5
If you get a ground floor room you can unload your car very easily, the pool was very good too .
- 4/5
Overall it was not a bad hotel to stay at if you don’t mind being a little bit farther than old town. For the price it’s definitely worth it, all the staff were very friendly and helpful and everything ran smoothly. Very quiet place not crowded at all which was super nice as well.
- 4/5
Was quite, property needs an upgrade in the hallway and the area towards the elevator on the 3rd floor
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Nice area
- 4/5
Decent place. Quiet stay.
- 1/5
Horrible stay! No breakfast served and no form of management to help resolve issue. Manager was scheduled at 7 am but never showed. I even called again and still no manager. By far one of the worse hotel expierences ive ever had sadly. I would like a complete refund !
- 5/5
Always quiet and drug free environment great place for the family to stay
- 2/5
the bed was literally sinking in, i checked under the bed and it was completely broken.
- 2/5
Did not like anything about this property. There was stuff on the walls and ceiling and just dirty over all. I would not stay there again.
- 2/5
We arrived to a room looked ok. One bed was broke. The tub didn’t drain correctly. Yellow stains on one bed. Red chip kid hand prints on another wall. Wasn’t just okay. So asked switched rooms in the am cause we were so tired. Next room drain issues stains on bed and decor was a downgrade. Desk had damage plugins are a safety concern as they had it wrapped so tight around wasn’t fully in. Also stains everywhere. Blood on wall. Used toilet paper in tissue box area. Soaps weren’t filled up. Also pool wasn’t maintained. Flowers all in pool. Ants and bees everywhere. But we tried to make it best we could. For a Scottsdale hotel I highly do not recommend with children. I should have got more pics.
- 1/5
Terrible
- 1/5
Do not stay here go to the Hyatt!! After they keep your $100 incidental charge per stay it ends up costing the same ! I’m still waiting for $800 in refundable incidental holds to be released! They don’t even have room service or a snack bar there’s no reason or opportunity to even to buy or spend money on anything other than the stay which is collected right away…. So yeah RIP OFF!!!
- 1/5
Ants on the floor ants in the bed on the patio!!!! Then I get charged $100 for 4 towels that were given (to me to shower with)to wipe up the ants I had to kill myself using hot water I poured out of my own personal mug!!! They didn’t provide or offer ant powder , broom, a mop, a roll of paper towels ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP after I asked specifically for all the things i mentioned. I was charged for cleaning ants out of their disgusting hotel room
- 1/5
Ants everywhere, the floor my bed the door. When I walked desk to ask for help they told me they did not have any powder nor could I use a towel or something to get the ants out with . I had to use water and towels !! Not they’ve kept all of the incidental charges and are claiming the to replace the towels is upwards of seven hundred bucks!!
- 3/5
I received our room keys, went to the room, used the key to open the door to find people in the room and it looked like they’d been living there. Next room key received, sent us to a room that had the TV turned on, bed turned down, bathroom light on and the angry woman’s DL on the sink counter. Room 3…. This one was without any people in it but still not the 2 bed room we reserved. I called the desk and said I was done lugging our bags from room to room and they could fix the room issue the next morning. Just as a I feel asleep someone was trying to open the door and then banging on the door. I got dressed, opened the door to find an older couple and the new desk person. I explained this was room 3 of the night for us and I wasn’t moving. My daughter was in the shower and we were there for her to go to Mayo Clinic the next few days and he could give us our new room before we left but I was done. The next morning we ate breakfast, switched rooms again, left for Mayo. The rooms were clean, the staff was nice, the hotel was under construction and we didn’t know prior to arrival. Based on the safety alone of the first interaction I would not recommend staying here. The lady behind the desk was blonde and named Karen, she was in over her head when there was 5 people checking in as well as an angry guest.
- 5/5
NaA
- 4/5
The room was clean. The shower was nice.
- 4/5
Was good 👍
- 5/5
So the hotel is currently going a remodel but still have it 5 stars because there was no construction during my stay and where they was doing it was blocked off by a fence and u couldn’t really see it. Would definitely stay here again
- 3/5
When I checked in the front desk person was not very friendly. He wasn't necessarily rude, but he wasn't very welcoming either. When we checked out, the front desk person was a little friendlier but not much. The friendliest person was the lady stocking breakfast. It was nice that the room had a full kitchenette, and would be nice for a longer stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. They could have spot checked a little more, though, as there was a used washcloth and a comb hanging from the shower rod and a q-tip on the bed. The tub faucet was dripping and there appeared to be water damage on the bathroom wall and floor, though.
- 4/5
Nice stay
- 5/5
Great hotel with great business around it offering many options for food. The property was under construction outside during my stay but otherwise everything was excellent especially for the rate.
- 3/5
When you lay down on the bed it goes down
- 5/5
Walk in Handicap shower is huge. Restaurants next door, less than a minute walk
- 4/5
I like the privacy they provided and if I needed something they were quick to help.
- 3/5
Under construction and being updated. Terrible shower and very limited breakfast. May try again in a year.
- 5/5
Room was immaculate, everything new, great tv connection. Construction in parking lot.
- 3/5
Not what I expected at booking
- 5/5
The hotel parking lot is under construction but it was very quiet service is great friendly stuff.
- 4/5
Paul and jacob is very clean
- 5/5
A basic hotel that has been modernize. Place is very clean, and relaxing with swimming pool area. Staff is very friendly, and has a morning breakfast area. Defiantly recommend it if you are want a place to stay at if you are for a clean, nice, affordable hotel.
- 4/5
Quick overnight stay, perfect for the occasion. Definitely will stay again, nicely remodeled with comfortable beds. Restaurants close by was convenient.
- 3/5
It's sad to see the current state of the mindset and work ethic of a number of workers (not all). Perhaps it's poor training, toxic work environment, poor work culture (owners and managers are not exempt from this), poor hiring standards, a new conditioned mindset of society, unhappiness in one's life or unhappiness just for that day, or just poor upbringing. Who knows? Even though I don't believe in robotics, automation and AI, I do at times see the reason
- 4/5
Except for the construction going on it was a nice place.
- 3/5
I liked the stay for how much we paid. I feel like I would book again for that price. 239 for 4 night is not bad. The area around was nice. Not to fa from attractions.
- 5/5
reasonably priced for the accommodations, service friendly and efficient
- 3/5
Continental breakfast sucked. Coffee maker did not work and furniture falling apart. Otherwise it was a safe place to sleep.
- 5/5
The bath tub was clogged so water didn’t drain very fast but over all it was nice
- 2/5
Front desk clerk was rude and lacked customer service skills. We arrived earlier than 3 PM and asked if we could check in any earlier. She gave a definite no because supposedly no clean rooms but there were plenty of empty clean rooms. She waited until 2:55 We asked if a room became available would she let us know . She shook her head yes but we had to ask her if she would like to have our name and phone number?? to call us. The rooms are ok. Renovated but you could see painted over areas still with dirty wall showing. Bed was fine & items ok in room. Towels were like sandpaper. The air conditioner did not work well and when running it sounded like someone was running heavy equipment during construction. This was an all night event. We stayed 1 night. Continental Breakfast was stale donuts, stale bagels and , overripe bananas, dry cereal but coffee was good. Worst experience was front desk clerk with a very bad attitude and total lack of customer service training. We will not stay at this property next return to PHX and we go often.
- 4/5
housekeeping didn’t go clean my room even though i called for it but besides that everything else was good
- 4/5
Nice place
- 4/5
Building under construction. Pool water was so cold ., I will try again in different season and weather. Breakfast was simple good enough. Small mall right Accross street for my granbabies shopping.
- 5/5
The water pressure in shower head needs to be adjusted as it was a very soft pressure/light sprinkle. Made it difficult to wash hair etc. everything else was decent.
- 3/5
Service desk was rude upon check in
- 4/5
The stay was great the bathroom vent didnt work the vanity light was burnt out. They did get the light replaced.
- 1/5
Not friendly at all
- 5/5
Just didn't like the construction site.
- 3/5
Checked me in early. Sheets were dirty. Shower is only half enclosed with a glass shower door so when you shower, water sprays onto the bathroom floor. My wife found a used condom on the floor. Shortened our stay. The TV was a good size. Not a good value for us.
- 5/5
Comfortable bed and quiet area
- 5/5
Nice and affordable
- 3/5
The room was clean and had everything I needed. The staff was very helpful. The laundry room needs some love, specially the dryer which wasn’t very clean. Overall good for the price you pay.
- 5/5
Was a great start
- 5/5
Staff was nice
- 5/5
Amazed at the quality we got for this price! Most comfy beds EVER.
- 5/5
The staff was great, check in and out was very easy and location was perfect !
- 3/5
There was a lady who heard everything going on and helped us and we believe she was gods angel . Super grateful for her. (She was a guest). The cleanliness and how nice the hotel is I would give 5 stars . But as for the employees. If I could give them a 0 I would. Definitely need a better front desk lady !
- 4/5
Convenient stay close to what we were eating and vacationing
- 5/5
There was a construction fence around the front of the property so it was confusing. Didnt know if they were open and when trying to order food the delivery driver had the same issue. Other than that it was clean and for the most part it was quiet.
- 3/5
Location is great, have a picture of what i found inside room. Didnt feel comfortable and never got a resposne from hotel using my mail regarding that
- 5/5
.
- 1/5
Inconvenient.
- 3/5
No microwave, coffee maker did not work. Bed was good. Breakfast very limited.
