A positive review after staying for 4 nights. I did my research, Physically checking other nearby Marriott hotels and found that the residence was the only apartment like setting, the full fridge and kitchenette were awesome along with the entire room. Fresh and clean linen. I was able to get a King suite with a pool view on ground floor. The breakfast was average and included, they also had an excellent bar well equiped whith great bartenders. The staff was spot on. Special shout out to Harvey and Joe! professionals working for me. I believe I am a tough critic, and happy to reccomed this Residence Hotel. Great Price! Ease of access. Safe, with a great pool. Shopping across the street. Thanks.
- 5/5
The place was perfect! We have family in the area and usually stay for 3 to 4 nights. The price was exceptional for the accommodations: a studio unit with a king bed, spacious living area, and a nice-sized kitchen. The location was close to family, shopping, and dining. The property was very clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast was included and had many options with fresh fruit to go. We will definitely stay here again. One slight negative—it can be hard to locate.
- 4/5
Internet connection was temperamental. Improving that, and also having at least one ice machine on property, would be my only suggestions for improvement.
- 5/5
very clean rooms. facility was excellent and staff friendly.

Great spot nice food options around the hotel and has a very nice on site bar.

Staff were responsive and friendly. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
- 3/5
Breakfast and staff were great. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and smell of the hallways and room were not up to our expectations. We also had to call to get more pillows and blanket blankets for the pullout couch.

All very good - the gentleman at the front desk (day shift) is a star - super helpful and just the right amount of friendly combined with professional. Breakfast exceptional. Didn’t use pool - but saw many others using it. Overall for us felt a bit overpriced - but appreciated it nonetheless
- 5/5
Very nice room and facilities. The staff was terrific and the breakfast was very good.
- 4/5
This property is in the midst of condominiums, strip malls, and 3 - 4 lane streets with heavy traffic. If you’re looking for a picturesque setting , with a traditional southwest feel, this place is very far from it. On the other hand, this serves as a comfortable mini-pad with generous amenities for a business trip or family stay.

Clean large room with a good kitchen.

We really enjoying this place. Will stay there again.
- 5/5
We had a good stay. Thank you.
- 5/5
nice stay
- 4/5
Clean, quiet, easy check in. My only complaints are that they were out of half of their breakfast items and never refilled them, the front desk staff was not very friendly, and we had to pay to park there.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 5/5
The breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Cage free eggs! Miso and rice. We were impressed. The handicapped accessible room was perfect for my husband and he said he will return any time. The only down side was how loud the air conditioner was all night. I'm a light sleeper and it woke me up every time it came on.
- 5/5
The hotel is in a great location. Check in was very smooth and the staff were approachable and informative. The room exceeded expectations with everything in good working order and being very clean.
- 4/5
We enjoyed staying at the Residence Inn in Scottsdale very much. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was very good. I would only complain about the lighting in the room. 45 watts light bulbs made the rooM always dark. Impossible to get any work done at night. Unfortunatley the mattress was so soft, it made the bed very uncomfortable.
- 3/5
A/C unit in the room extremely loud. Smoke detector above bed flashing like a strobe light all night. Trash pickup outside the room at 4am.
- 5/5
It was very convenient, clean, comfortable and staff were friendly. The breakfast was exceptionally good! Nothing.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4.5/5
The location in proximity to my conference as well as the "home type" feeling of the room. Unlike a standard hotel room.
- 5/5
Staff friendliness, quiet location.
- 5/5
I would definitely stay here again, this space was amazing. The pool was nice, really enjoyed breakfast, and

Our shower dripped all night. Not enough light in the dressing area.

Quiet
- 5/5
Rooms fit our lifestyle and the pool is convenient.

Loved our stay as it was close to great shopping & perfect location for us to visit my two daughters & their families, my youngest daughter lives near Desert Ridge off of Hwy 101 exit 31, Tatum & my other daughter lives in Scottsdale right off the Hwy 101, Exit 42

A/C units in the room are Loud. Every other item is great.

Excellent stay
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 3/5
Clean and modern, but the pull out couch mattress was terrible so thin and uncomfortable
- 5/5
I wish they would turn the temperature on the hot water up
- 5/5
Close to lots of good dining places and shopping
- 5/5
Don’t think we should have to pay for parking. Other than that everything else was great. Thanks
- 4/5
Instead Of Just the hotel.
- 5/5
Good location, good service.
- 4/5
A place to sleep - little more. Definitely looked better in the pictures. But we were fine. If you need a place to stay and don't need any resort feel, this will likely work fr you.
- 5/5
This hotel was great! It was clean, the layout of the rooms were nice and it was in a good location. Overall a very good experience!
- 4/5
I did not read the fine print. I was zero disappointed that I had to pay for parking. Except for that everything was very good
- 2/5
Disappointing
- 5/5
The location was perfect, the bartender was super nice, the room can take a little bit more of attention, I found pills under the couch and the carpet was not vacuumed.
- 5/5
I loved that I could cook in my room and I plan on staying there every time I stay in Arizona if possible.
- 5/5
Property had great amenities, was newer, very clean, and met all standards expected at a Marriott. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
place was amazing :)
- 5/5
Such a good vibe at this hotel. The bartender was fabulous and the gym equipment options were top notch! We enjoyed a few fun nights using their outdoor space - excellent fireplaces/outdoor furniture and pool toys kept us entertained!
- 5/5
We had a really great stay!
- 4/5
Location is nice, away from outside traffic. Nice place. Would use again.
- 5/5
Breakfast options were great and included with your stay.
- 4/5
You have to pay for parking which would be nice to know ahead of time
- 3/5
Was good. Average in need of some repairs To flooring but had everything we needed for a quick stay.
- 5/5
Did not like having to pay for parking.
- 5/5
the staff were friendly and polite, the breakfast was good and the room was clean; in good condition. Overall, a pleasant experience. Marietta was able to accommodate a-12 p.m check out. Definitely, we will come back to this hotel.
- 5/5
Wish parking was included not $15 a day its really my only complaint
- 5/5
We like it very much
- 5/5
I enjoyed it
- 5/5
Excellent
- 1/5
We rented the space to have somewhere to lay our head after playing softball all day. We only showered and slept. I travel a lot and this experience was by far the worst that I have had. The graveyard staff was a gem- he was accommodating as he could be. The kitchen staff were also great. For the money I spent I would expect a room with no issues. The hotel might want to consider fixing the obvious problem before renting it out and getting poor reviews because people are flooding their room.
- 5/5
Perfect for a quiet stay
- 2/5
Carpets are filthy and have a stench and staff were not the best or friendliest! Nonetheless it served its purposes for one night.
- 5/5
Very clean property all the way around
- 5/5
9/10 for my stay. You do have to pay for parking though …
- 5/5
Very friendly staff
- 5/5
It was a good hotel but breakfast was bad
- 5/5
This was the perfect place to stay for Boise State's historic first playoff appearance--we love Scottsdale with its amazing shopping and safe environment. We loved the continental breakfast and walking around the property. We even spotted a jackrabbit early in the morning. We hope to come back many time for more Fiesta Bowls!
- 5/5
Excellent staff!!
- 4/5
There were cockroaches in the kitchen of our unit 207. I mentioned to receptionist she didn’t seem to be concerned about it.
- 5/5
Everything was great! I used the fitness room and it was wonderful! Only thing I couldn’t get the peloton bike to fully work and I have one at home so not sure what was going on but everything else was fantastic!
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 4/5

Every thing posted on Expedia was accurate. Very updated and beautiful. Cleanliness excellent. Staff amazing. Pool and hot tub great. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
All the staff were so friendly. My room was wonderful! It was clean and had a wonderful kitchen area. Bed was comfortable. The friendly staff really put this place on the map for me.
- 5/5
Heated pool, hot tub outside fire pits and the grill for supper
- 5/5
The front desk employee was fabulous. Our room extremely cleanand comfortable. We already booked our next stay in J
- 5/5
Parking arrangement is annoying.
- 5/5
I asked front desk to have maintenance give me a call to see how I can turn the heat on and never got a call back. I figured out how to do it but would be nice to have had a call back
- 4/5
Private location
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and accommodated my early check in
- 5/5
I had a great stay just like last time I was here. They do a great job. Excellent staff
- 5/5
It was a great hotel stay and a very nice room. Thankyou & great job to the staff & management.
- 5/5
Overall a great place. Nice rooms. Clean. It is near a busy intersection so there is a little noise, but in the room didn't have any problems with the noise. Didn't realize it is $11 a day for parking so that was a bit of a surprise, but other than that a good place to stay.
- 5/5
Having to pay for each night for parking wasn't great, but over all it was a great experience
- 4/5
The air conditioner was in a locked closet in our bedroom area and it was very loud. We had to turn it off to sleep.
- 5/5
The front desk worker when I checked in was very nice and the breakfast was delicious.
- 5/5
We stayed 5 nights and loved every minute of our time. Don’t forget to tip the house keeping staff and breakfast server! 😊
- 5/5
Friendly staff and nice room but because of the remodeling the carpet and bathroom floor needed to be vacuumed. Had lots of white stucco on the floor and appeared to have not been vacuumed at all but it may have been walking from above dropping pieces onto the floor? But that much? We were on the first floor. Very nice place tho. Such a minor thing!
- 5/5
Very nice place with a new bar and plenty of good food options within a couple miles
- 2/5
Extremely noisy air conditioning
- 5/5
Great for business travel
- 3/5
PAID PARKING IS A RIP OFF!!! THIS IS A NEW SCAM!
- 4/5
Construction was a minor inconvenience.
- 2/5
We arrived after 2-13 hours day drives very tired. Hotel guest service person said machine to make keys was down. He let us into a room next to 2 very loud dogs barking. He moved us to new room. We had quite a few pieces of luggage due to staying a month. We had to haul all to new room.
- 5/5
Our suite was clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay there again.
- 1/5
Hidden fees to scam you. Parking fee with tax $10.18 they don’t tell you about till check out. Not on booking site. Only one pillow for sleeper bed. Old and outdated
- 5/5
Very clean, free breakfast cheap parking fee very close to Christmas at the event hosted by the Fairmont resort.
- 5/5
Beautiful suite - high end decor and neutral colors. Kitchen is functional. Desk is appreciated.
- 5/5
Always so convenient
- 5/5
The staff went above and beyond accommodate me and my family.
- 5/5
The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was just so warm and kind and so very professional. He started the visit off in such a wonderful way. He seems very passionate and genuine about what he does ! The room was exceptionally clean, very quiet, and very comfortable. Great location
- 4/5
The room was comfortable. Excellent location. Appreciate the breakfast buffet. Only negative, this applies to most hotels nowadays, the room is not refreshed each day. Guests have to clean the room, make the bed, empty the trash, go to the front desk for towels, coffee, etc. The cost of hotel stays has doubled and guests are provided half the service.
- 5/5
Great property. Having a kitchen made all the difference. My only complaint is that I didn't know it was pet friendly. The room across the hall had two dogs barking constantly. There should be a section where there's no pets.
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
It was a great hotel for a longer stay. We were there 8 nights. Clean room and friendly staff. Only complaint would be the mattress needs an upgrade. We put a couple blankets on it and it helped but wasn’t normal Merriott quality mattress
- 5/5
Staff was very courteous and helpful
- 3/5
While the sign to the exit/ entrance doors said the building was locked for the security of the residence, they were not. One could enter the building without using their keys and virtually enter any floor without having a reservation or checked in to stay there
- 5/5
Great hotel near premium shopping and dining. Modern, clean room with lots of amenities.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet hotel with large rooms, full kitchens, comfortable beds, great amenities and pleasant staff.
- 4/5
Property is tucked back in a quiet enclave near a very busy section of town.
- 5/5
Morning breakfast varieties clean quiet shopping nearby location ideal.
- 4/5
The kitchen was definitely something we used a lot of. Unlike other hotels where you only get a microwave and a mini fridge, this establishment went all the way with making sure your family can enjoy its stay.
- 5/5
Fantastic stay. Wonderful room, comfortable bed, safe and quiet.
- 4/5
The room was super nice with the little kitchen and nice updates. The a/c was pretty loud and made it hard to sleep.
- 5/5
It was immaculate! Can't wait to go back and use the fireplace in the room!
- 5/5
It was not clearly specified that there was a parking fee. We didn't realize we were charged until after the stay. It should have been clearly stated at checkin.
- 5/5
Excellent palce, friendly staff, very good breakfast with frutis, bagels, yogurt, quiche, waffles etc.
- 5/5
Perfect for traveling for work.
- 3/5
The room was large (accessible room) but if pulling out the sofa bed, you had to move sofa and kitchen table to allow bed to be extended. Pillows were flat. The a/c sounded like an idling car so we tried to cool the room before going to sleep so it would not wake us up. The breakfast was disappointing! Microwave burritos or sandwiches coupled with oatmeal bowls and bagels. Not even a waffle maker in sight. If it you couldn’t cook it in a microwave or toaster - it wasn’t available. I’ve had better breakfast at less expensive chain hotels. This is the age of less service and more cost and Residence Inn jumped on the trend. Even at check in, I stated that I did not want to be next to the elevator. The front desk told me I was not. I was in a room down the hall from the elevator. The door to the room was a little down the hall.. the headboard of our bed was against the elevator shaft wall! However, the elevator was not an issue - couldn’t hear it over the air conditioner! Would not stay again. Only positives - bed was comfortable and location was central to most places we went.
