Nice hotel but overpriced.

Our stay at Adeline Hitel in Scottsdale was excellent & we received an outstanding service from each of the staff. We highly recommend it.

Excellent location. We didn’t have breakfast. We needed a microwave oven.

Everyone was pretty kind and the place was cool kick back vibes. I loved the pool with DJ. Didn’t like that I booked a room with view of pool probably at least 2 months in advance and I got a room but could not see the pool. They said it’s 1st come 1st serve.

Hotel was very nice and well run. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Glorified motel. Rooms very minimal/motel-like. Beautiful lobby/bars but come to find out 20% gratuity on everything. My wife and I ended up spending $40usd on 2 bar rail drinks with a disrespectful waiter at the speakeasy. Pool was closed for 2 days of our stay.. Overall.. would never come back.

My only feedback is that my husband and I went to the pool area in the afternoon to catch the sunset, and we noticed a few empty food containers near the pool, as well as some empty cans in the water, which we removed when we arrived. It may have been due to the Memorial Day holiday weekend, but perhaps guests could be encouraged to be more mindful of littering, or maintenance could check the area more regularly. Overall, we had a great experience!!! We definitely are coming back!

The best part about this hotel is the location and the staff. It’s literally 5 mins from anything around downtown Scottsdale. The pool area could use a remodel and AC in the rooms are super loud. Overall a nice hotel to stay at in Scottsdale.

Our room was great! Perfect for our Date night mini getaway. We are at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, absolutely loved it!

This an older, but well maintained property with a 'cool vibe' and to a person, genuine customer service. Enjoy your breakfast as the sun rises over the pool. A legitimate fitness room, too!

the pool was nice i’m not sure how such a nice hotel doesn’t have smart tvs in the room, so that was really disappointing we stayed for 3 nights and never had anyone come to clean our room

Overall it was a great stay. Just be aware that the front window in your room faces the walkway so that might bother some people. Otherwise room was updated and clean, the pool was nice and there was a resort fee but you could use half of it for food and drinks.

The pool is refreshing and everything was just great.

​While the beds were actually quite comfortable and provided a good night's sleep, the functional issues in the room were impossible to ignore. Multiple power outlets in our room simply did not work, making it a struggle to charge devices. Even more concerning, the property lost running water at various points during our stay. ​I am honestly surprised this is a Marriott-affiliated property, as it just isn't up to the usual brand standard. If you are looking for a true 4-star experience, you may want to look elsewhere. Don't go there expecting a high-end stay—it’s closer to a 2.5-star motel experience at best

The bathrooms are really small and a one of the servers was not a good very poor on attitude and service!

Looks like a lodge inn or a motel style, not a resort style hotel. Rooms are all next to each other sharing a balcony, hearing people walking and talking outside, not much of privacy. Please change the hand soap bar to a liquid hand soap. The soap bar made our hands so dry peeling. Overall I think this hotel is over priced and not at all considered a luxury resort hotel.

This hotel was very welcoming, the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. We had a great experience!

The staff were great and the speakeasy was moody and fun. The room and bed were comfortable, although the pillows were terrible. The overall feel of the place was just okay. I was expecting a little more luxury and refinement for the location and cost.

This is such a great hotel for a fun getaway! Really cool , safe and in a great location! The pool party is very fun!

The hotel is cute and trendy. Early in the week only one waitor at Pool bar this resulted in long lines and delays. Rooms are a bit on the small side (we had two double beds and it was cramped). Otherwise the hotel is great, staff is very friendly and we enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Adeline. It wasn't too big. It wasn't too small. It was a nice balance of business and families. I think due to the business orientation, they had coffee on offer early and I could get my coffee and sit by the pool in the morning, which was lovely. The pool was beautiful. The outdoor space was nicely designed and well kept. The room was clean and spacious and had all the amenities you would want - overall we were very happy with our stay.

Not what ii expected for the cost. Rooms are basic, could use an upgrade. Huge hole on the bedspread, spot of something red on the street. Walkway to our room was full of equipment and a broken piece of furniture. Pool area was nice looking, but overcrowded so we didn't get to use it. The artsy look throughout the facility was nice and fun, but for well over $300, the room should have been better.

The pool is gorgeous. Has rentable day beds and cabanas and has a fun pool bar. The rooms are clean, have quality amenities and the beds are super comfy. I ate at the restaurant once for breakfast and really enjoyed my food and the service. What put them over the top is when I left behind an old blow dryer, in an attempt to make room in my suitcase for some purchases. They contacted me the day after check out and offered to ship it back to me. I will definitely be back.

Outdated hotel no elevators and you have to take your luggage throw stairs. rooms are old and it seems like a motel I would not recommend. The only positive side is the pool and staff. Also, they charge a a resort fee although they have nothing related to a resort.

Pool was very nice, outside the bar was a great sitting area in front of a fireplace and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were a basic redo of a standard 2 story motel and very noisy with anyone walking or working just by your room

The room was too dark and in a bad location. I could hear noise, road, and people walking by. The bathroom left much to be desired. The strawberry salad is amazing!

It was a really cool hotel and great location! The staff was nice too. The room didn’t seem that clean in general, we also called two days in a row to get fresh towels and never got any. The pool area was very cramped and hardly any space and it was super shaded and had the most uncomfortable pool chairs so I don’t recommend if you wanted to sunbathe.

However, the walls are paper thin and we were blessed with neighbors that started fighting around 1030 and in spite of our exhortations to quiet down, it continued til we got up and left at 0630. No other rooms available, so moving was not an option, and for the cost of a one night stay, how much more are you willing to throw away? Boutique hotels are off my list.

Best beds in the biz! Large room. Good storage. Glad refrigerators were added since my last visit in 2019. Breakfasts were delicious. It's a well-maintained property. Did not love being at the back of the property. It felt isolated. Also, the room had a distinctly musty smell on arrival. Running the a/c helped to minimize it. Not having outlets at the bedside was annoying. Poor lighting in the dressing area. The "resort fee" was irritating. It's taxes! Call it that and roll it into the room charge or add it as such.

100% disappointed in the bartender at the speakeasy. She was incredibly rude to me and my friends. She could not be bothered to smile, she set our drinks down with an attitude, and she was bossy. I was very shocked and embarrassed that I brought friends.

Excellent property with great views from the pool. Room was clean and modern, however there was zero water pressure. Luckily I'm bald and didn't need to wash my hair or I'm sure the soap wouldn't come out - that's how weak the pressure was.

They only clean the room every 3 days so considering we stayed 3 nights, they never came. They also charged a daily resort fee of $25 (each day) that was not explained up front.

My stay started a little shaky, arrived early after 12 noon and was told by the front desk staff our room wasn’t ready it had to be cleaned but it would be ready in an hour. They would definitely call us! At 5pm we still hadn’t gotten a call from front desk staff so we went to the the front desk to see what the problem was. Not sure why…. We checked in and were able to get an an an excellent poolside room 30 minutes prior to checkin . The only thing i did notice when we turned the sheets the next morning ..this the last sheet..there was a dark blood stain .

The hotel was great, it was a great choice for a staycation with my family. Room was comfortable pool was clean and cool all weekend. The bar outside made great tasting drinks, would definitely recommend.

I stayed at this hotel with my two kids for two nights and really enjoyed it. The place was exceptionally clean and conveniently located. Although we didn’t see many other children around, it wasn’t an issue at all—the environment felt very safe and welcoming.

Very relaxing and quiet place to stay, easy to get work done when i am there on business, staff is very nice.

I’ve been coming to this hotel since its first re-model. When the first reopening and had nothing but wires hangin from the ceilings for the TV’s and such. I absolutely love it here.

It is time to clean a s maybe replace the patio furniture, cushions, and chairs outside. The food at your restaurant was out of this world. The room was updated and nice and clean.

This is a chic little boutique property that has all the quirks you are looking for. Not as nice as Hotel Valley Ho...but also a third the price this tine of year.

We had a great time! I was greeted by really nice front desk women, she was very helpful. We only stayed one night but it was a great experience. The pool was nice, with fun games to play. Overall, a really nice time.

A very aesthetically pleasing hotel, vintage vibe and comfortable, however, extremely loud music on Saturdays that vibrates the room and some outlets were inoperable.

Nice clean place I liked it no problems with anything. It was a chill stay and got to enjoy the pool with the kids.

The pool is large and lovely. There is a destination fee to be aware of. It is a part of Marriott Bonvoy.

Thank you so much for a great stay and atmosphere. Perfect way to celebrate my birthday and also have a nice getaway with my husband. The location was amazing as well, as we were walking distance to so many restaurants, shops, and bars. We definitely will be back.

This was my first stay at hotel Adeline. I loved everything about it. It was clean,the pool was fun,drinks and food were excellent. Everything was so convenient. But I have to really point out how friendly and helpful the staff was. Every single one of them…especially the men and woman that worked the bars and the restaurant. They were just the best. I can’t wait for my next stay.

This is one of my favorite hotels and I've been staying here for years anytime my travels include Scottsdale. The staff is friendly, the hotel is always clean, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Highest marks!

Great place to vibe and respect

Great, hip updated hotel at an affordable price. It’s an updated “motel” meaning all rooms are open to the outside, and our room faced the back parking lot so we could hear all the traffic and everyone walking outside the hallway. I’m a light sleeper and slept with white noise on but still woke up multiple times a night to various noises. Staff was friendly and the speakeasy bar and pool were highlights for us. Would stay here again given the reasonable price for the location and area. Close to many great restaurants and shops in the area.

Great place, staff and amenities. Need to add a welcome packet to the rooms with details to remove the “guess” out of one’s experience.

However, Our room was very noisy. We were on first floor on the end, we could hear everyone as they walked by. We were also right by stairs and that too was noisy.

Overall was a nice stay -- yet the service was very slow. Felt as if there was not enough service staff or the service staff was not organized to be efficient. For example a lot of patrons had to get up and go find their waiter to ask for the check or to get something they needed. The staff was just so stretched thin they could not be on top of everything.

What a cool vibe and setup. We loved the laid back atmosphere. Location was perfect and very nicely remodeled and clean.

lobby is nice, food was decent, room itself was clean. You had to pay 25 dollars per day as a "food credit." This gave you 25 dollars off in the resteraunts, but it really did not. They keepthe 25 dollars regardless. It is so you have to stay at the hotel to eat.

The rooms were cute and modern. Bed was comfortable and clean! Loved the pool area and that we were able to park right next to our hotel room. Great location! Some parts of the room could have been cleaner. Our bathroom floor had smudged makeup on it, and some parts of the room didn't look like they had been properly dusted. But overall it did feel like a clean space!

Pool loungers were not very comfortable, because of big gap between back and seat.

Overall, we had a nice stay. The hotel is very conveniently located. The common areas are very nicely updated and the food and beverage, while expensive, was good. The room itself could use a little more attention. It felt very much like a flipped cheap hotel room, dark and a little dank. The bathroom especially could use some serious upgrading. While very large, the vanity area is very small and the shower is tiny. It's a continuation of the bathroom floor with a chintzy shower curtain and a showerhead on the wall pointing straight out into the bathroom. So unless you wedged yourself right up against the wall with the showerhead shooting you straight in the face, water was going all over the bathroom. Both days we had to sacrifice one of our bathing towels to catch all the water coming out into the bathroom. Pretty bad for nearly $300 a night.

Stay is ok. But the bill is overcharged. The invoice total amount is 323.82 after I pointed out. That is what they gave me. But my credit card statement says 349.65. Please explain why you charged me additional 25.83?

This property is unique and Marriott did a great job of updating an older property and making it modern. The location is great and within walking distance of Old Town and Fashion Square Mall. The staff was friendly and helpful as well...

‘Twas nice

Upon check in, the girl at the desk was cheerful and offered me a New Year's Day margarita, and it set the tone for our visit. The restaurant bartender was pleasant and informative as well. Vibrant staff makes a difference, and we enjoyed our 2 day stay. The interior courtyard/pool is very chill, and as it was post-nyd, we had the place to ourselves to enjoy and relax. We will definitely recommend Adeline to friends, and will likely return for another food tour of Phoenix/Scottsdale.

Fun, boutique hotel! Close to everything in Scottsdale.

Stayed here when I went to see family for Christmas. As others have mentioned, this seems like an old motel that they gave a retro vibe to and slapped Marriott’s name on it. First the good: staff was super friendly and accommodating. First room smelled like grandmas basement (moldy mildew smell). They gave me a new room that overlooked the pool. The bad: second room vaguely smelled like smoke but didn’t feel like changing again. Property seemed dead. Probably just an off time. I can see this place being a party spot in the summer. Quiet is good though. On my second night I heard a scrapping and scratching noise coming from the room next door. Thought they were doing construction. Asked the front , they said no and even checked the room. It was empty. Creepy right? Well after a quick google search it sounds like they have a rodent problem in the walls. This continued for a while until I decided it was time to go. To their credit and with the help of hotels.com customer service, they refunded me the unused nights and I changed hotels. This is an independently owned hotel with Marriott’s endorsement. Don’t be fooled as it doesn’t keep up with their standards and cleanliness.

Place was nice. A bit run down but staff was friendly. Salad was good. Vanilla smell throughout the lounge is a bit much.

They never texted. When I showed up that night, the "pool view" was staring out to an incredibly large HVAC system. This is a jazzed up motel not a 4 star hotel. The front desk worker needs some serious training.

Great welcome with the bellhop who is super attentive. It is a renovated motel and our room’s venting was poor. Always stuffy in there. Fair price and good location. Would stay again for the right price, but not my first choice.

Property was trendy and well appointed. Room was very clean and comfortable beds and bedding. Staff was incredibly accommodation. Lobby Bar was great also! Will definitely return.

Lobby entrance is gorgeous and smells amazing. The staff is very friendly and provides you a complementary margarita. The design, style and decor gives good vibes. The location is perfect for those that want to have a quick drive to hundreds of shopping and dining options. We will return :)
