Jen and David at the front desk were amazing, very friendly and made my trip feel like I was at home. The pool and hot tub were not well kept and dirty. But the rooms are clean and housekeeping is great..

The parking was easy. The property desperately needs an upgrade in the rooms were not great. The shower was ridiculous to try and use. You had to pull with all of your strength on the faucet to get it out of the wall to actually have any sort of water pressure. The carpet in the hallways was coming up. The breakfast was not like every other holiday inn and they charged $15.99 per person. The servers were incredibly kind and I genuinely felt bad they were wasting their time because they were such nice people without customers. I would not stay here again.

Someone stole my husband's sweatshirt from his room, which was left behind in the closet and has not yet been recovered or turned in to lost and found. I know that no one stayed in the room the night after he left because I spoke with the front desk. Terrible customer service at this hotel. I was told I would be called back and have yet to receive a call-back from anyone there. I was put on hold for a long time this am when I called for a second time. Sad, as the hotel was extremely expensive for one night and just a terrible experience all around. This was a special item to my husband, even if it didn't appear important to others.

Clean but needed to be updated, staff in the kitchen were great.... serving platters were way too much food. It was good, just too much.

Three stars because there were two issues plus the fact that they don't have complimentary breakfast (which we did know in advance). First issue - we do not believe the advertised queen beds were actually queen sized. Maybe there is some variation in queen sizing, but they seemed very small compared to what we are used too. Second, the thermostat had to be the most complicated thermostat we have ever encountered. "Push two buttons at once for three seconds" for one thing; "push two buttons at once for four seconds" for something else. We never could get it figured out. Otherwise, the room was clean, and we appreciate that. We just wouldn't stay there again due to the smaller-than-expected beds and complicated thermostat. The area is nice and convenient. Not noisy. Maybe it's just what someone else wants.

The staff was great! Clean. Disappointed that the pool heater was not working. We visit the area often and this may be a deal breaker for us next time. Nice to have a cafe in the building since you need to drive to get anything.

The room was dirty (the tub had dirt and stains), the kitchen sink faucet didn't turn off easily, and the handle popped off the sink; the furniture was light colored with stains. And lastly, we were checked into someone else's room (the TV said welcome ...., which was not us). Overall, not a great hotel.

Room was clean. Only complaints are that the pool is not heated and the jacuzzi was out of order. Also, 15.99 per person for the breakfast buffet seemed steep for what was offered. No free coffee or breakfast options.

Room was ok but bath towel had a hole in it and general overuse. Some minor scratches and damage to walls and fixtures that would have looked better if that was addressed. For the price a continental breakfast would have been nice. I neglected to see that they did not offer that. Hot tub was ICE cold. Pool was nice.

how do i see about getting some type of refund or credit, one i paid extra for breakfast option that was listed on the website and when i got there they told it was not on the reservation so wasn't able to get it. and the room we had had the air conditioner running the whole time which was very loud in the bedroom and asked to be moved to another room but they were completely booked.

Overpriced. Hotel was loud, not that nice. Couldn't walk to any restaurants. Website said breakfast was free, and we get there and it's $15. I'll eat elsewhere thank you. Go to use the hot tub, and it's ice cold. I learn later that the heater for the hot tub doesn't work. Would've been nice to know that beforehand. Poor value. Will stay elsewhere next time I'm in Phoenix.

This was my first time staying at this Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites. First of all, they need a technician to check the doorknobs, we had a very hard time opening the door. And also had a very hard time with the television. There was no water to make coffee, what is the use on having coffee maker?

Stayed just one night. I would say the hotel is average and what you might expect from this brand. Bed was too soft and the AC blew right on it which didn’t make for the most comfortable night.

First night there our key pad on our door didn’t work and the maintenance man came and attempted to fix without success. Could be a nice hotel if they renovated it !

We stayed one night in a king bed room after a flight into the area. The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Toiletry products were all Dove brand, which we appreciated. There are several options for food and shopping in the area. We would stay here again.

The one bedroom suite was absolutely massive and super comfortable. And the AC worked great. Honestly this is our new go to hotel for all our visits to Scottsdale. The only thing that could use improvement is the lobby had a strange stinky smell. Honestly we didn't care because the room was so ginormous and cozy.

This was a typical Holiday Inn property. The room and bed were fine. The bathroom could use some paint and deep cleaning. The pool was small but interesting shape. The waterfall feature created a great sound but the pool was Freezing cold. I stated that in my welcome text and got back- glad everything is good. I stated the Freezing pool again. No response. Asked to talk to a manager. Not available but they will contact you. Still waiting a week later. Decent at best.

The room was spacious and comfortable. But, the view out the window was awful. We were on the second floor and the entire view was the top and inside of a canapy, along with random building supplies shoved in a corner. One of the screens was filthy and difficult to even see through. The filth was so bad the screen appeared to have bars on it. When we asked for another room, we were told none were available. We had just checked in at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon and I doubt all rooms had been taken by then. We were told that a manager would be available the next morning if we wished to speak with her. Yet when we checked out the next morning, we were told the manager does not come in on Saturday mornings. I would not recommend this hotel.

The maintenance in the room is what is needed to be addressed. The entry hall light was out. The handicap bar in the bathroom is barely hanging on the wall, and my TV remote never wanted to work. The jetted tub was uncomfortable because of the seating. The location is very nice and quiet.

We were so happy to stay there. My daughter and I enjoyed staying there. Pool was very clean and beautiful. The hotel looked very new. The breakfast was served with care.

We stayed here to attend the Barrett Jackson Car Show. It was a short uber ride to event. The room was spacious and clean. There was a small dining area and bar where we could get a bite and a cocktail.

We’ve stayed at this property several times over the last few months, and whilst it isn’t the best in the area, it was adequate, comfortable and convenient. This time we booked a room with a jacuzzi bathtub, what a disappointment, the bathroom was dirty, and the bathtub was in such poor condition, an attempt had been made to paint it, the job was so badly done, a toddler could have done better with a toothbrush…..I am not exaggerating. The room overall was very dated, paper peeling off the walls, and well overdue for a PROFESSIONAL refit. The staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming and nice, it’s such a shame as this experience has put us off staying there again. I must add too that we did not ask for a room change as the hotel was extremely busy due to events being held in the area.

Washroom fixtures were old and difficult to turn on and off, needs updating. Staff are very nice, the breakfasts were lovely and reasonable priced, service was great.

Once again, despite sending an email and calling the hotel to tell them I will have a late check in and to not give my room away, they did. I had to go round and round with the front desk to get a room. They did up grade my room but I should not have to deal with this. They kept saying if I was a member of their hotel I would get benefits. Why would I want to be a member of a hotel who treats people so poorly. Bottom line they don’t like dealing with third party booking but have no problem taking the money.

Nothing spectacular just a very basic room. It states there is room service limited aka no room service. The lady at the front desk bad mouth about using Expedia wouldn’t print out a receipt upon check out because I booked on Expedia which didn’t make any sense.

The only reason I booked this hotel was because it said it has EV charging. The location was not convenient for the trip. The EV chargers were broken so there was no reason for me to stay there.

The area surrounding the hotel was crawling with vagrants and homeless people. I guess its everywhere nowadays. The check-in staff insisted myself and my travel companions park our motorcycles in a remote, unsecured parking lot srveral hundred yards away from our upstairs rooms. After a healthy tip to what we think was a manager, we were allowed to park in front of the lobby entrance in the "taxi waiting area." Food and cocktails were within walking distance. The hotel was clean and huge! Not sure I would stay here again on a motorcycle trip. Or with my family.

Spent $300 for one night. There was nothing special about this hotel to justify the cost. At least there could be free coffee beyond the crap in the room. The main problem was a very noisy AC unit. The front desk said many of the rooms have noisy AC. No individual controls of the AC in the room.

I liked the free Lyft rides within a radius of 5 miles.

The staff at this property really goes above and beyond. Not only did the front desk help me to arrange transportation everywhere I needed, but they were incredibly helpful and responsive to other things I needed during my stay. The only thing that was frustrated is that my booking said breakfast was included and it wasn’t.

Was charged three times for incidentals totalling $300. Room key stopped working as their system showed I was not even checked in although I had all my things in the room

This is a great hotel. The location is excellent right off the 101 loop. It’s quiet, clean and cozy. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. Also the staff was wonderful.

This property is very old and in need of major renovations. The AC was so loud and just ran continually even on Auto and never really cooled the room well. The bathrooms are old and outdated with warped doors and peeling paint not to mention no exhaust fan so it make the whole room hot, hence the AC never shutting off and cooling the room. The property itself around is ok, but the rooms need to be updated.

It's a hotel. The room was comfy. Provide both soft and firm pillows.

The pool water temperature was extremely cold and they did not change the garbage in our room. Other than that everything was good.

Post COVID not having the trash taken out and have to call for toilet paper is not appealing. I guess this is the new way of doing business.

The hotel is not as updated as I thought it should be but it was clean for the most part. It was lacking some updates related to phone/ computer charging. There is a business area but nothing in room. The service was somewhat poor we didn't get our breakfast vouchers upon check in and the sever at breakfast was rude, I was informed that because I didn't come to breakfast with my spouse I would have to pay. I would recommend staying here if you value customer service.
