Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas

It was clean, comfortable, well appointed and quiet. The room was in an excellent location for my husband with mobility issues. The staff was hit and miss. Some , like the gentleman that checked us in, were very welcoming and helpful. The two women in the morning seemed put out that I was interrupting their socializing.

The pools were amazing, staff was beyond friendly and helpful, villa was beautiful! The location was ideal, as well. Our girls trip was perfect and the Hilton was a huge part of that!

While we “figured it out” during our stay, I feel as a Hilton, the amenities standards need to be raised instead of only the price point.

The villas are the way to go! So spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for the family. Full kitchen which was nice to have and also the large living room.

Clean, close to so much (within walking distance), most of staff very friendly Description wasn’t up to date - there is no gift shop on site…Starbucks is on site but machine was down and they ran out of product so we had to walk to next location for coffee and even if it was in working order, it’s only open until 12. Not very convenient.

The proximity to things was a + , Definitely not deserving of the number of stars it claims. The AC in my room was set to the coldest setting, yet the room remained uncomfortably warm. The room itself was subpar, as was the hotel overall. Customer service was also below expectations, with the exception of one excellent check-in staff member. I genuinely regretted my stay, especially given that it cost far more than what I would consider fair value for what I received. That said, it did serve the bare minimum purpose for the 1.5 days we needed to acclimatise before our road trip around Arizona.

We loved the villa. It was very roomy for our family. The amenities and pool were great also. Recommended!

We didn't get into our unit until after 5:30 PM because (supposedly) it had been left very dirty by the previous people. Even then, we found popcorn under the sofa, no toilet paper, and just a small amount of toiletry products in the bathroom.

Staff was friendly, but they were obviously experiencing a shortage with their housekeeping staff. Other than that we were pleased with our stay.

Price was high; but related to time of year and busy Scottsdale week. Would have loved to eat breakfast on gorgeous patio outside but it seemed due to a conference in the patio next door, there wasn’t enough staff for that.

Location to golf, baseball and downtown Scottsdale was fantastic. Pool area was great. Would loved to have another option for food on site, but the pool bar food was fine for afternoons outside. Shower head a little outdated with crazy spray and low pressure.

The staff was awful not friendly. Not helpful The only person that was wonderful was Efron. The place was not a resort feel there was no hospitality other than Efron. I feel so let down I would appreciate a refund. So much money for a low budget hotel feel.People (other guests) by the pool were saying the same thing. One of our uber drivers says definitely not the place to stay.

I am a Hilton Honors member, and used the Hilton site as well as other sites. 1. The facility was under renovation and that was not noted on any Website. Specifically, the work out area was pictured as a large well-fitted room, However, the workout area was jammed into a very small (10' x 12') room where no more than one or two people couild work out. 2. When a Hilton CSR reached out and we informed her of our disappointement, she promised to reduce our billing, which did not happen. 3. The mini-frig in our room needed to be replaced -- it was done so in an expert and efficient manner.

Location, felt safe, two bedroom Villa was very large and clean. The pool by the Villas was obviously not as well taken care of as the pool near the hotel.

Location and next to Flemings restaurant. Nice they have Starbucks coffee in the restaurant bar early in the morning. The room I had was not remodeled. The bed was extremely lumpy. The bathtub old, small and stained from so much use. The toilet was low to the ground and barely flushed. I specifically wanted a bathtub but I wouldn’t get into this one. Some of the front desk staff were polite while others were just rude to me. I waited 3.5 hours for this old room. If someone had said it was not remodeled, I would’ve switched.

The villas are really nice and have been updated recently. Great for a family traveling with kids. It is a little removed from the Hilton Resort itself though. About a block or more away.

Some of the towles were stained (Im not saying they weren't clan but one looked like it had a toothpaste stain on it).

Fitness center is under construction so I was disappointed in that. They made a small room available on the 2nd floor but it was way too small and confining.

The staff were very helpful, friendly. The only downside was on Saturday, 11/01' night the bar/ next by the pool was closed. We were ready to watch the Dodgers games with drinks. That was disappointed.

Had I been made aware of the situation, I would have never booked that room. I then contacted the front desk for awareness and was told that there was another room available on the other side of the property that did not have construction ongoing. After cleaning the room and unpacking our belongings just the night before, I repacked our things to change to the new room. Issue #3: We received the keys to the new room located on the other side of the property, and once we stepped inside the room we noticed an extremely offensive odor. The only comparison that I could draw was of a scent of raw sewage, which immediately made us our stomachs turn. We left outside of the room and I headed back to the front desk and made the staff aware. I was then assigned to my third room, which was a much larger unit on a different floor. Issue #4: Once inside, I was relieved to finally have a pleasant smelling room but then we noticed that the carpets had several unsightly stains.

The staff is top notch. Wish I could give the hotel higher marks. The property is below Hilton’s standards and it needs updating in the common areas and landscaping. It is a stretch to call this hotel a resort.

Loved the privacy of our villa, and the great price! We stopped in for only one night, a stop-over on a road trip, but the villa was amazing, perfect for a great nights sleep for me and the kids, and loved to be able to text the front desk for extra blankets. Also, the room service was quick and delicious! Just what we needed after a long day on the road. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely gorgeous! The only issues we experienced were 1) no bedding provided for the pull out couch and 2) the soap dispenser in the shower was empty, which made for a cold dash across the bathroom so I could grab the hand soap for washing up. Both issues were remedied by the hotel.

LOVE staying at all the Hilton properties. Excellent staff. The only issue was the AC. But we were already in bed and didn't want to deal with it.

Room service was quick and food was great. Oasis the pool bar/grill was excellent. We had a bartender by the name of Ryan and he killing it! He made the perfect drinks and his customer service was beyond great. Even when he got super busy he always checked on us. The check in staff was great as well they were on top of everything So was the manger he took care of us when we had AC issues. Will be back again for a staycation.

My husband is in a wheelchair! And loved this place! It made him feel free to roam around the hotel to the pool and other places around the hotel, friendly staff and very helpful! We recommend this place especially if you have a loved one that needs extra help! The hotel is beautiful!!

⸻ My daughter and I had an amazing stay at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort! We loved every minute of it—from the beautiful pool and hot tub to the live music that added such a great vibe every day. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the resort truly made our trip special. A couple of small drawbacks: the outdoor courtyard was under construction during our visit, and on the one day we needed the shuttle, the driver wasn’t available. But aside from those minor hiccups, everything else was absolutely lovely. We would definitely stay again!

On a positive note, the staff was friendly and responsive—anytime I called, they were quick to come and address the issues. I appreciated their helpfulness, but overall, I was hoping for a more comfortable and better-maintained stay.

THE STAFF (ALL) was awesome!! The front desk crew was excellent! The hotel grounds are beautiful, well cared for, & guy on his golf cart shuttle continues around the hotel grounds…that made me feel safer as I was sitting outside for while, Starbucks coffee, outside pool had PLENTY of lounging chairs for all that were at the pool, clean rooms equipped with everything you need (lighted magnifying mirror, blow dryer, shamp/cond shower gel lotion Water pressure great! Left a tip for David at front desk - I’m sure he’ll get it they’re a good crew! Thank you!

One of my guests had a medical issue and was denied a roll away cot due to a fire hazard? The hotel offered no other accommodation for her and asked that we pay hundreds of dollars to upgrade to a villa. The main pool was swamped with kids and families from a dance competition that did NOT have pool access or a guest room. There was 2 big conventions that wiped out all the snacks and drinks for actual paying guests. Not enough pool towels or waters for paying guests. There were kids peeing and throwing up in the pool. The wait times to get a drink at the bar exceeded 30-45 mins and the bartender called me “sir” when I am clearly a woman. Our room never had enough towels and garbages were not emptied regularly. Highly disappointed with this hotel

This place is really beautiful. However what makes it really stand out was the exceptional staff. The staff in the breakfast area was especially amazing but the front desk staff was also stellar. They made our stay amazing!! The beds were comfy, the pool area is AWESOME. I would definitely go back.

Cleaning staff were very accomodating of our schedule, and the few times we ate at the hotel the food was good.

Legitimately one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Wet sheets, moldy comforters construction. The name resort should not be affiliated with this hotel. The staff was less than helpful saying things like they lost their blender. When another person told us that not true that person just doesn’t like to make blended drinks. When I asked for extra blankets and things it took forever. The only saving grace is it had Flemmings in the hotel. But if I were Flemings, I would be embarrassed to be affiliated. I truly never review hotels. That’s how bad this was.

We had a good time. The place feels a little dated in need of some upgrades in the rooms. Lobby is the nicest area. Staff was great but they are severely understaffed. Good location, close to everything but not in the middle of it all so its quiet and easy to navigate.

They are finishing renovating the villas , so everything was brand new and very nice and clean

My favorite thing about staying with the Hilton brand is the personalized welcome message you have waiting when you enter your room. At this location specifically, I thought the front staff was amazing. They were hospitable, answered questions, made sure I got to my car safely due to my time of travel, assisted me with navigating the area and just above and beyond customer service.

The breakfast buffet was terrible. The food looked good but tasted terrible. The waffles were like mini waffle croutons, the eggs rubbery and dry. The location was nice. The bed comfy. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Pots and pans in the kitchen were dirty, kitchen counter dirty, dishes were dirty. Furniture was scratched and finishing was peeling, worn out. Area around the villa was deplorable, dust everywhere, piles of gravel and dirt left on the entrance, workers using machines early in the morning, unable to rest because of their noise, there was no privacy as there were men on the back too. Windows had to be closed, there wasn't enough light inside the living room area and really depressing feeling inside the villa. I was not told these were the conditions of the villa or I would have gone to another place. You spoiled my vacation and demonstrated that the name Hilton is not reliable. I never expected something like that from a chain like yours.

I liked the property. It had a good swimming pool. Staff were friendly and responsive! The only complaint I have about is the beds. It might have just been us. Our bed sunk in the middle and it was uncomfortable.

Way too much of of the hotel lobby room perfume that they utilize. It is awful and not good for those with sensory issues.

Room was filthy, dishwasher didnt work well to clean dishes. House keeping didnt do a good job doing more than replacing towels. Overall pretty terrible considering the price. I dont reccomend anyone staying at the villas.

Overall the hotel is good, but I wouldn’t say it’s excellent. The lobby, restaurant and pool is gorgeous. My room was spacious but very dated. If you update this hotel please: add more electrical outlets in the room and bathroom. Bathrooms need more shelving and sink space. More or bigger mirrors in the room. Better lighting in the bathroom. Lastly, better cable service and specify what channels you actually get. I liked that the room was very quiet. Location was handy to lots of shopping and restaurants.
