Perfect place for a construction guy that smokes in the front parking lot. No coffee maker in the room, no cups, no silverware, I wanted to make some tea after a long flight. I had to go to the front desk and beg for a cup. I was there for a week. I bought cups and silverware. I empted my own trash. The first guy at the front desk was great. The others were grumpy. No exercise room. No business area, which I needed for printing. There was a desk in the room which I needed for working. Nice mattress I did sleep well. I would not recommend unless construction worker or large family with dogs trying to get out of the heat and enjoy a swimming pool.

Convenient location in Scottsdale centrally located. You can go north or south to old town. About the same distance. Some pet owners are going to pick up after their pets. Has nothing to do with the staff or The Extended Stay.

Trisha the Manager was AMAZING!!! She went above and beyond. The rooms were clean, the floors were clean! I've stayed in many hotels where the laminate flooring never feels clean. It was clean! Rooms were spacious and the grounds of the hotel were clean and pride has been shown to keep it looking that way. The breakfast could have used stronger coffee. Ha! We will stay here again!

Front desk staff were great, super friendly! We loved having a kitchen and being able to cook our own meal after a week of eating out. The room seemed very old and had that old smell but other than that, it served its purpose.

We received a call prior to checking in and were told that the room they were originally going to put is in had maintenance issues so they were moving us and would comp the whole weekend . When we showed up and they realized we booked through hotels.com they said they could not comp our stay because it would be hard to get our money back way

I attempted to get a refund because my husband ended up in the hospital and was admitted I was told I needed to go to the front desk when I came back to get our stuff and the manager would make a decision . I did not have time for that because my husband was in critical condition . If I tell you the situation why do I have to come back and let the manager decide . It should just get taken care of .

The kitchen 'things' are a la carte. You tell the staff if you want dishes etc...all carefully explained on a card. We wanted something to heat water for tea that didn't reek of coffee and they complied. We asked for a toaster...and it was immediately available. We needed a second chair, which was not quickly available, and a staff member brought a folding chair from his own home...so we ended up with 3 chairs and the couch...perfect for our needs. Some things needed improvement...a document could not be printed until the next day, for example. The room seemed pricey...but it was Scottsdale in March, during spring training. Location and supply and demand. And for us, for personal reasons, this location was perfect...in every way. I take exception to those who complain about the breakfast: 1) they clearly state it's grab and go, like many properties we've been to....and 2) you have your own kitchen for heaven's sake. Would we stay there again? We're in Scottsdale twice a year for about a week. I would have no problems staying there again.

There was hair in our bed, bathroom, and shower. There was a water leak from the above room. The hotel did end up giving us a refund on the second night and that was appreciated.

Police on scene 2 times, I had a dirty room no soap or shampoo the complementary breakfast was a joke it’s just 2 types of muffins and nutrigrain bars. When I told this to the front desk and showed him the bag of items from kids toys to drug paraphernalia and the guy barely apologized no offer to settle with a guest that paid $136 for a below average room with sub par care. I will never go back to this location again. Epic failure to ignore the fact experience in person The smell and lack of customer service.

I found a cockroach in my room, which is completely unacceptable under any circumstances and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. Additionally, on Saturday night around 6:00 p.m., I had an interaction with the manager, Shayne, that was extremely disappointing. He was disrespectful and rude, and when I attempted to speak with him, he refused to make eye contact and dismissed my concerns. His behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate for someone in a managerial role. You may verify this interaction by reviewing the camera footage from approximately 6:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I am deeply dissatisfied with both the condition of the room and the way the situation was handled by management. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed promptly.

We were a party of four and booked a room listed as accommodating four guests. Since rooms with two beds were unavailable, we chose the option with one queen bed and a sofa bed. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was only a twin—far too small for two people, and there were no linens provided for it in the room. When I called customer service, I was told there was nothing they could do because staff had already left and we would “have to figure it out for the night.” The room itself was in terrible condition. The window was left open and the room was freezing, likely to air out the bad smell. The carpet had large black stains, the room smelled unpleasant, and even the towels and linens felt dirty. It did not feel clean or maintained at all. Safety was also a major concern. There are no hallway cameras, and we saw people entering and leaving the building freely at all hours. Someone even knocked on our door at 2AM. With no staff or security present, we did not feel safe. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience we’ve had. We would not stay here again or recommend it. Very disappointing, especially for Scottsdale.

Hotel is very aged and smells like a nursing home. Room was relatively quiet but the bed and linens are similar to a Super 8 / Motel 6. The property is very nice (grass, trees, parking lot well put) and in a great part of the city, but there are also homeless people in the parking lot if that concerns you. I’m sure they’re harmless and they didn’t bother me.

We switched rooms when we arrived because the first room smelled like someone was smoking weed in the bathroom. The second room wasn't that great becazue it wasn't 100% clean. The floor wasn't swept or mopped, there was a sticky spot. We had to ask for any items we wanted for the kitchen. Not all items we wanted were available so we settled for one pot and two plastic spoons. We ended up buying what we needed to get by while we stayed here and cleaned the floor ourselves with lysol we bought and a towel. We checked out early.

The elevator, stairwell, and room did not look clean. There was a hole where the exhaust fan should have been in the ceiling and the sink in bathroom would not drain. The faux liner of the tub was also peeling off and both the lobby and our room smelled upon arrival.

The room was dated, not the cleanest, it’s more like a low income living facility, not a hotel. Couldn’t even use the pool with my kids because there was strange men out there all day and night drinking and smoking weed…not nice at all! The hallways to our room had full garbage bags outside of the room doors and by the elevator area. We asked for the plates/pans option and they had nothing but a pan to use. They claimed to have breakfast and there was NOTHING except coffee or tea for all 5 days we were there and it said breakfast included, lie! Overall it was gross and felt unsafe! Horrible hotel, do not waste your money! Yikes…

Walking in the "lobby" had boxes and to go cups and very random things scattered around. The staff was not friendly, seemed a little put out by having to help us. There was small bits of trash, hairball and such in the elevator and hallways. The hallway was poorly lit. The photos on booking.com were not at all what the rooms looked like. The room was gross. There was what looked to be mold and rust in the shower. There was old grease splatter on the side of the refrigerator. The microwave was chipped inside and rusty. The sofa bed/couch had the upper back corners torn up like a cat had ruined them. The floors were not carpet but had spill stains that dirt and hair were stuck to. Hairballs and dust all over rhe flooring. We were there about an hour and checked out, and got a hotel accross the street. They had offered another room but we had no confidence that it would be any better. We were all disgusted. It felt like a truck stop hotel at best. I wish I had taken photos but we were trying to get ready before our event started and we needed to move quickly to go somewhere else to do do.

We loved every aspect of the experience.

The hotel is a miss. The first room we had was terrible. The curtains were ripped and would not close, missing furniture and the safety look was missing. The room was probably the worst I have had in 40 plus years of travel. We requested a new room which was marginally better. Breakfast is bad. Pity as the hotel is ion a great location and staff is great. Owners need to invest some money in upgrades to make it all it can be.

This was one of the dirtiest places we have ever stayed. The pull out couch mattress had a huge disgusting stain on it. The queen bed had stains all over the sheets. The pull out couch didnt even have sheets. I had to ask for sheets and make it myself. There was something flung onto the ceiling above the bed. We slept on top of the sheets. This should have been a $50 stay not an almost $200 stay. We will never return to your hotel again. Hire some new housekeeping and replace your stained sheets and mattresses. Word of mouth is very powerful and we will let everyone know to not stay here.

OMG Ewww! The musty old smoke rubber smell started it off. Our room keys were given to us in a post it note. The bed was not clean. It was more than lint and when we asked for additonal sheets, they were handed over no questions; kinda like it was expected. The dishwasher literally had chunks of food in the bottom of it. The bathroom top drawer had hair and dust in it. The floor near the nightstand was visably dirty and easily came up when wiped. The sofa bed was DISGUSTING. The sheets were gross and dirty. There was doritos on the bed and a dead bug under the matress in the frame. We got this room with the plan to use the sofa bed for sure. For a Scottsdale hotel in this area for this price, I am appalled. If we had more time I would have tried to find something else.

Came into town for work and got stuck out here during Valentine’s Day. Hotel prices were absolutely insane, like over $500 for a “normal” hotel. I usually don’t ever stay in extended stays. In my home town they are full of crackheads and very sketchy in general. Not this one though! Your vehicle and belongings are safe here. It wasn’t the cleanest or nicest hotel but there was no bedbugs or roaches.

Hate to write a bad review. This is an issue that can be sorted. But I would want to know if it was someone else’s experience. Bed bugs. On the floor, in the bed, under the sheets, in the corners. Large, various stages of development, and definitely a situation that’s been overlooked for a while. We left right away so we didn’t pick up any hitchhikers in our bags and clothing. Jan 2025. May be completely different at a future date….

The rooms were were done and the property is in the great locality. A safeway is just 3 blocks away. I was only sad that the swimming pool was under maintenance Otherwise the stay for 8 nights was worth it. Drove to Page (270 miles one way), Williams (161 miles one way) and Sedona (175 miles) from here. Thanks

Stayed in several Extended Stay hotels in th past so I know it’s not the brand that is bad. But never again here. Last Thanksgiving we arrived to a police encounter; two residents from two separate rooms were in a physical brawl. This year, three police cruisers were in front when we checked in and we got to witness a man in his underwear and tee shirt being dragged out and then planted facedown on the doorstep to get handcuffed. The place is dirty; the tub allows you to stand in three inches of water while you shower because the drain was clogged. I could go on but it is best I just say next year when we return for thanksgiving we’ll sleep in our car versus stay here if nothing else is available.

There was hair on the pillows and blankets, as well as on the back of the toilet and seat, all very dark. Besides the hair there were two very obviously used Q-tips on the side of the toilet. It was absolutely filthy. There was a spot of blood on the ceiling above one of the beds, and stains all along the wall behind the second bed that could have been just about anything. Also, there was a large stain on one of the headboards that one can only imagine the origination of. There was also a bloody booger on the latch of the window. I wish I was joking!!!! The fridge had broken parts and god knows what kinds of food spilled inside, as well as two moldy ice cube trays in the freezer. The drawers in all of the furniture in the room, as well as the cupboards in the kitchen were also covered in hair of various lengths and colors. The pullout mattress was an absolute nightmare. Full of holes, about 2.5 inches thick, and fully BROWN so that the person sleeping there was disgusted and instead slept on the couch folded. The plug behind the nightstand is an active fire/shock hazard. If even nudged a little, it sparks like a literal lighter. Besides all of this, generally unimpressed with the customer service. Petty, and curt when asked for towels or bedding, and there was an open fight in the lobby between employees when we left one morning. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!

We checked in around 730pm and got into our room and noticed a dead bug on the carpet. We simply threw it away and thought no big deal it’s dead. Next thing we know we see another few bugs crawling on the floor, as we looked closer they were roaches. I called the front desk and she apologized and offered to move us to another room with one bed. We had 5 people with us and figured if one room was infested with cockroaches the other might be as well. We asked to get a refund and the lady said yes, front desk was great and she felt very bad. As we were leaving we saw baby roaches on the bed. We ended up checking out and booking at a Marriott.

Nice quiet property, room was dated but nice. Staff were lazy, less than honest, and inattentive. Coffee was like water because “that’s the way the night shift likes it”, continental breakfast was nonexistent as they “had ran out”. Staff failed multiple times to send email receipt required multiple calls over several days to obtain.

The room smelled of smoke. I should have asked to be moved. However, I was so busy with my brother's memorial service, I didn't have time or energy to move. The staff wasn't particularly helpful when I let them know of the problem. They offered no solutions or suggestions.

The room was spacious but the pull out bed was like sleeping on springs. The bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast consisted of choices between granola bar or tiny muffin. The local was in a nice neighborhood. Not worth the price

I booked 2 queen beds and only got 1 with a twin pull out sofa bed. The beds were not comfortable. We neeeded a plunger and they said they gave all of them out so that sucked! We called numerous times for a plunger and they kept saying they handed them all out and didnt know where they were. I was like ok so what do we do? And the lady at the front desk was like I dont know. I called in the morning again for the plunger and the man that was at the front desk was alot more helpful saying he was going to the maintenance closest to call back in 5 min. I did and he said yes I have a bunch right here. So makes me think the night before she just didnt walk over to the maintenance closet and look! Will never stay here agin!

I arrived at the hotel to check in and was informed that they had transferred me to a different hotel 15 minutes away. I never got a call or anything. When i arrived at the new hotel, i was told the hotel room had only one bed when i had reserved for two. After some adjustments i was given a room with two beds smaller than the original room had, and was charged more.

Can't beat the location. It was nice and quiet while having good links to freeways and main roads. The hotel itself is a bit run down. Pillows are like pancakes, no breakfast to speak of, the floor in my room was sticky and the water pressure was poor. Also, my room was mistakenly given to the next people who checked in! All was resolved quickly, but it was a pain to deal with after a long day of travel. Would I stay here again? No, it didn't meet enough of my needs.

We checked in to the room and it smelled horrible ! The hallways smelled great. We went and asked for a diff room and they were so polite, they gave us another room. Appears to have just been remodeled. Very nice!! They say free breakfast but they had 1 pot of coffee and a few muffins in a bowl. They need to put their trash bins somewhere else. They are big and right by the elevator to go down. But the trash smells so you either take the stairs or wait by the smelly trash cans for the elevator.

Everything was decent for the price we paid. Cleanliness was fair overall. There’s no “breakfast” unless you like coffee with a pre packaged muffin because that’s all the options they have. Our room was supposed to be NON SMOKING, signs posted around also said NON SMOKING however our room smelled of cigarettes as soon as you walked in and faded while in the room but upon entering every time it was just like walking in the first time. ALL of our belongings including our suitcases, shoes that we left out on the floor and our recyclable bags that we took snacks in still smell of cigarettes. We stood from Friday to Sunday to put in perspective.

I checked in and noticed immediately that my door wasn’t locked. I went to leave shortly afterwards and discovered the door would not latch. I informed the front desk, but they refused to do anything about it or even transfer me to a different room, therefore, whenever I choose to leave my room for any length of time I have to bring all my belongings with me because there was no way of locking the door. This place is pathetic. Stay away!

Our room, curtains are broken, dish washer did not work, toilet was dirty, but worst of all, it did not have hot water in the shower. Because the hotel is fully booked, the one and only front desk staff told us to tough it out. Will check next morning. It’s 40s and too cold to take cold shower. Overall I would rate this 3 out of 10.

On a good day, this would be a two star hotel. We way overpaid for this one due to the gold tournament in town. No lobby. Large TV Screen at desk video recording customers as they check in. Slow check in process - They ask a lot of questions before they give you a key. Room smelled like greasy hamburgers had just been cooked. You have to ask for a coffee pot. I had gnats in my sink. Toilet had build up stains in the bottom, exhaust fan buzzed loudly. My room on the second floor was just above the designated smoking area, so I had to keep my window closed. Bed and pillow were ok. I'm shocked its on Hotels.com website.

No hot water for any room. Wouldn't call plumber. Everyone had to wait until the morning. Several people complaining but still refused to fix problem. We left for next destination without showering. Remote control needed batteries. Clerk didn't know how to use screwdriver. Bed very, very uncomfortable.
