Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any requests we had. We loved the patio doors off the bedroom into the courtyard and the pool area was great. Comfortable bed and furnishings. Great location.

The refurbishment of this hotel is the best I have ever seen. I've stayed at many mid-range hotels for years and this one is excellent. The hotel front desk personnel (3 young men) were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable.

Reasonably priced, close to freeway access, shopping across the street, and great service, the Aiden was the perfect choice. If I'm ever in Scottsdale again I will again stay there.

I was very impressed by the location. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. The entire property including the elevators were pristine. They offer a bar, pool AND jacuzzi! Great location and easy parking. Will definitely be staying here again.

We had to pay for breakfast $10.99 each adult, not charged at other best westerns. Pool area was awesome, the patio suites and outside game area are cool. Hot tub was hot but no working jets. Lots of parking for trailer.

The location was near our Friend's house and that made it easy to travel, the Hotel staff was very Friendly and helpful. We had Breafast and enjoyed what was served. We have no complaints

Clean and welcoming, good breakfast and the hotel had a bar/grill downstairs which was very nice after 16 hours in the van driving in from Oklahoma City Parking lot was a little tight for big vehicles and the abandoned cybertruck clogged up flow.

It was a good stay very quiet. I didn’t eat the buffet breakfast looked not tasty. I had some cocktails were good. The jacuzzi. Wasn’t that hot and the bubbles didn’t work. Other than that it was nice and enjoyed. My stay. I loved the patio also. Front desk the young man was so helpful and very sweet.

One thing I wish they’d improve is the water pressure of the bathroom sink. It’s barely more than a dribble. No problem with shower plenty of pressure but not the sink.

I had a four trip to Arizona and this hotel is located in a very beautiful area of a Main Street with lots of dining and shopping. It’s looks like tropical beach area sans the beach but add a Mountain View! The room was extremely clean. The staff were helpful and breakfast was always wonderful cooked. The pool area was well taken care of and I would definitely stay again.

The gym was very dark after sunset but they had a decent amount of equipment. The hot tub jets were not very strong but the water was clean and a good temperature. The bed was very comfortable and the room was great for a mid level hotel experience. The breakfast was average but decent value as it was only $10. Bar food was not great or overly healthy but that’s the reality of a smaller hotel so not a turnoff in any way. I enjoyed my stay and the staff were all quite friendly.

I understand they have bars in the handicap rooms, but with a slippery floor like that, they should have bars in all the rooms. The pool area is enjoyable and nicely furnished; however, this time the whirlpool/hot tub had only one jet working properly.

I went to sit by a pool and get away from the cold and it was wonderful. the pool was clean and seating area was very nice.

Close to amenities

We always stay at the Aiden when we go to the Scottsdale area. Clean rooms, friendly staff and nice amenities. I would highly recommend the Aiden.

Room was the best of any hotels we stayed in during our trip to AZ. (Clean, smelled fresh, curtains closed well, AC worked well). Breakfast was almost $12 and was minimal for that amount of money. I have to eat gluten-free, so they only charged me for a couple hardboiled eggs and a yogurt which was appreciated. Hotel is in a good location to access Scottsdale Old Town, the airport, and the Phoenix botanical garden all being an easy 20-30 minute drive depending upon traffic. The hotel has a nice outside swimming pool, and many people were outside enjoying it and tanning during the day. I appreciated the desk area since I had an online class one of my days there. Only issue was the shower curtain was hung too high for the shower so water was running off the curtain onto the floor when we'd shower. The front desk said management is aware. Hope they take care of this issue before the hotel has water damage.

Not paying for that kind of breakfast

So, I sorted my initial search by "breakfast" and must have not realized that breakfast was NOT included. $10 per person per day. Still cheaper than taking everyone out, but a massive hit for us as a whole. My bad, but I still degrade my review of the hotel because "no free breakfast." I would have stayed elsewhere just because of that.

Breakfast is most definitely NOT worth the $10 they charge! It is the same terrible breakfast all hotels usually serve for free. With so many great food options in the immediate vicinity, don't waste your money on this barely edible breakfast offering.

We like that it is close to Salt River Fields for spring training. Close to restaurants and shopping too. We liked it fine 2 years ago. But this time there were a bunch of little league players in the building. Their coaches and parents did not watch them. They ran through the halls, yelling and screaming. They also were playing door bell ditch. We told staff about it but no one seemed to do anything about it. Frustrating because there is a pool the kids could use, and plenty of open space near it. Yet the adults let the kids run wild in the halls!? Not so sure we will be back.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the hotel room was clean. It’s an excellent choice for the price we paid. The only takeaway is not having free breakfast, but it’s not the worst thing in the world.

Great stay at Aiden by Best Western for our family of four adults. The room was comfortable enough for everyone, check-in was smooth and easy, and the property was clean. We especially enjoyed the quiet pool area, having cabanas available at no extra cost was a really nice touch. Dry Bar toiletries was a very nice surprise. Would definitely stay again.

We had a shared covered patio space. Perhaps post a sign, or require people to sign a notice,, reminding people to sit in front of their own patio doors on their designated chairs, and that no smoking is allowed on the patio.

This hotel was great, the staff was friendly, the pool was wonderful, rooms were quiet and clean. I only have one minor complaint, there were no luggage racks available at check in OR check out.

Clean, modern, friendly and great location. My only complaint is for the bathroom door. It’s a sliding barn door. You do not have complete privacy, which is odd for a bathroom. We did not have time to try any of the amenities or the breakfast that you have to pay for but everything looked nice.

The sink had no water pressure and the shower didn’t have pressure either and we had to point the shower head inwards unless water would come out of the shower as the curtain wasn’t long enough to keep the water in the shower. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Although breakfast is served, we did not partake as we had plans with family. The breakfast is not free, it is around $10.00. The hotel was quiet and is a short distance from the 101 freeway. We did not hear any freeway noise.

The room was great, had to ask for housekeeping that never came but we’re able to get more towels easily. The pool area was nice but smaller than expected. The fire pits were non existent and the turf area was not very well taken care of. Otherwise was a great and cheap place to stay.

A little dated in the decor

The pool area was filthy!! Dead grasshoppers laying on the concrete for 3 days. Tables not cleaned, broken table roped off with caution tape. Caution tape?? Just not a good sight. Had to ask for towels in the pool area 3 times. Bathroom faucet is to short. Water goes all over the counter while just washing your hands. Have stayed there 4 times. This was as dirty as its ever been. Was hoping the water faucet issues were addressed. Probably won't go back.

They need to clean out the carpeting Inside the Hotel it's very dirty, I was staying in a room with a sofa bed when I pull out the bed the mattress didn't have any fitted sheet. I have to ask for another blanket and another sheet. Aside from that everything else was good

This Best Western has a beautiful pool-nice workout room-cute bar--nice rooms with a lot of space--across the street ther is a Chick Filet (sp?). Across the highway it is close to there is a grocery store and a really nice strip mall. Highly recommend if you are staying in Scottsdale.

The only problem we had was that the air conditioner was very loud. It would turn on frequently, so it was difficult to fall asleep. Also, the shampoo and the conditioner very small. Otherwise, excellent location, great breakfast, very clean.

I was in Scottsdale for health issues. I stayed at the Aiden for over a month and it was a fabulous hotel. The staff are wonderful, the pool area is great and I would stay there again in a minute. It’s in a great location and quiet, because it’s a two minute walk to the main road.

Updated, good location plenty of restaurants nearby. Negative: they charge twelve bucks for the poor quality breakfast.

Set adult only hours for the pool and hot tub. Hot tub was a little green color….. needs a good shock.

Good value inanoverpriced market

I booked a 2 bed room. Upon arriving and checking in, no mention of any issues. When I got to my room it was a 1 bed room. Went back to lobby and was told they had to change my reservation cause there was a leaks. No notification to my whatsoever. As a fam of 4 I needed 2 beds. They stated they were completely booked for the night. I asked to speak with manager but he wasn’t available since it was after hours. Staff brought in rollaway bed us for the night and offered us to speak to manager in am, next morning, we spoke to manager and said nothing he could do since we had already spent the night!

Convenient location: shopping plaza nearby on Shea Blvd. I went to the supermarket to get water bottles. And I went to Canton Dragon for lunch.

The hotel was conveniently located near the places we needed to be, making it easy to get around. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would consider staying here again.

The first night I was there, the area by the elevators smelled like marijuana!! Ok I get it, people smoke, but inside!?! And then the second night, the smell made it in to my room!! The smell was horrendous!!! I called the front desk and they told me the smell had been there all day!! It was horrible!! I have asthma so smoke can make things worse for me. Luckily I just used my inhaler but it was gross!!

Room service was not include with the stay, you needed to request room service 24hr in advance, low water pressure on toilet, faucet, and shower, staff where not very welcoming and very bland on there service. I would not go back even with a free stay.

Pool was well kept and hot tub was nice and warm. One of my favorite parts of staying here is using the big massage chair in the gym but that was out of order unfortunately. Loved staying here for our weeklong christmas vacation. Room was a very good size. Loved the set up that it had like a studio with the mini fridgw and microwave, but also what might be considered like a "dry bar" for you snacks/food, to store things, and to hang your items. The pool and hot tub are right next to each other and its perfect. The heated pool was fun but making it a little warmer for the winter time would also be a little better. They also had a small fitness center, which we didn't use, and they had an outside grassy area to just basically hang out that was very nice with heated lamps too. They have a food area, a bar, and a mini shopping spot all in there which makes it perfect for when you just don't want to leave. Oh, and starbucks coffee too. All the people there were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be going back and staying there for our next vacations in Scottsdale.

Room was spacious, parking easy, housekeeping was strange...one day they just gave us new towels and emptied the garbage and the next day they did everything (me are our beds too). I requested housekeeping everyday, you have to request it but both days were different.

This was genuinely one of the better stays I've had in all my travels. The hotel is in a great area, very well kept, great clerks at the front desk, room was modern and kept up well, with a great functioning HVAC unit and good quality shower and bathroom. I slept better than I do at my own house. Would love to stay here again when I'm in Scottsdale.

Walking to the room on the 1st floor it started smelling really bad. We started feeling nervous since the halls were short and LOTS of turns. The carpet looked disgusting. I was pleasantly surprised to get in the room though. Looked neat n tidy n clean. Bed was awesome and soft. 4 pillows decent. Cable tv was nice. Overall, the gross smell & carpet in the hallway sticks out to me and question how clean our room truly was. The bed was everything to me that night though n it was awesome! My husband did the checkout n didn’t know the room cost which wasn’t explained to him by staff. Especially since they tacked on another $100+ dollars!! Check out Friday 8:00 & it’s Sunday evening and still not corrected. BE AWARE that they charge once u arrive and include a deposit of $100 ! I never saw that anywhere except a sign only on the front desk. They didn’t even mention it either. N as I said, still have not released the funds. Btw don’t let hotels fool you that it’s your banks fault ! I’ve been in this situation before ! I won’t stay here again !!

The room was clean and seemed updated. Liked being on the 3rd floor rm#309. The shower curtain was short so water splashed on the floor and had to be mopped up with towels.

The staff were very unapologetic about not being able to take $50 cash and had no other way to check me in unless a supervisor or manager who was coming on later to approve of such. In this day and age, staff should have the ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently to ensure a smooth check-in.

The staff, room and overall condition was great. The only gripe we had was the cost of what was offered as breakfast was ordinary what you fins at every hotel that is half the price of the stay and the breakfast comes free. If you are going to up charge at least try and make the breakfast worth the money.

Surprisingly wonderful!! Room was so clean and newly renovated. Pool area was well kept and good size for small size hotel. Good central location to shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again.

My family and I stayed for 4 nights. The hotel was clean and the pool area was very nice. But our room was not cleaned once. After the second night, I called the desk and asked for our garbage and towels be taken care of. They said they would send housekeeping and never did. I had to call the front desk at 10 pm to get more towels and a trash bag.

Shower has moderate pressure and slow to warm. Needs a longer curtain - floods the bathroom floor.

Music too loud in the lobby and by the pool. Also, terrible music choice. Staff were not very friendly. Coffee had only pre packaged creamers.

Staff is very nice. But neither TV in my room worked (maybe both remotes happened to be out) and the clock was not changed after few days post time change. These little details matter because as a guest, I wonder how many other details were missed. Like proper cleaning and disinfection.

If you’re looking for a quiet, restful hotel, this is absolutely not the place to say. Room door slams happen late into the night, they start again early in the morning. My room was not cleaned after returning from my day trip to Sedona and it was already 4pm. I told the cleaning crew not to bother since I was going to be in the room now. There was plenty of free parking outside and it had lots of places nearby to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. The 101 was just around the corner too.

Overall stay was great pretty disappointed about breakfast. I thought I saw advertised as a continental breakfast but upon check in was informed breakfast would be $10.99 per person for what normally is a continental breakfast at other hotels.

I wrote a letter to the hotel. They plan to reimburse you (the third party). I hope you will refund me. I was intouch with you on the night that I left. I wound up paying 500 dollars to sleep for 2.5 hours at the Westin hotel where my conference was being held.

Hotel corridors were dated but rooms were updated and clean. No restaraunt on site but could order food at the bar. Nice clean pool and hot tub. Pool chairs were comfortable.

My highly valuable medicine that most women would love to have their hands on, that was in the little freezer compartment was not recovered by housekeeping. When confronting the front desk, was met with contentiousness & complete lack of professionalism. Was forced to file a police report, as my property loss is valued at over $2000. Very shady housekeeping & terrible customer relations skillset from front desk. Very upsetting experience.

Cons: No Ceramic Cups/Glasses available in entire property, just okay toilet paper, and staff was nice, but some of them lacked customer service and did not seem happy. Heater would make weird noises when it was on.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast and coffee were very good. We recommend.

The stay was great. The housekeeping staff was not courteous or helpful. I dropped my purse and the contents as well as spilled my drink and as they walked by or/and talked with each other as I was checking out hands full, no help. It was a very harsh feeling. In my opinion, what they did was equivalent to seeing me drowning at the beach and not caring enough to even call for help let alone reach out a helping hand. That is the issue in our society too often we pretend not to see someone who needs help so that we don’t have to take the time to evoke a feeling similar to care. Concern. Vulnerability. Society is way too comfortable staying silent while watching someone in need .

Room & facility are nice. There needs to be more than one front desk agent at check in. At check in, the agent didn’t go over any stay details such as confirmation of dates room type etc. One evening a different agent was eating a pizza in front of guests, overall not professional.

It was clean, staff was good and for a quick one night stay it was exactly what I needed.

Hot water did not work so they put me in another room to shower that also didn’t work the third time I got to take a hot shower. Also it was never mentioned that the breakfast was a charge so it cost me $22 to eat a yogurt for two days!

The rooms have small fridges and microwaves set up in an efficient manner for preparing meals and storing foods. The pool area is pleasant and the 24 hour gym is well equipped. There is a full bar which also offers meals during afternoon and early evening hours. The hotel is reasonably priced and the staff are courteous and professional. There are also EV charging stations in the parking lot.

Very clean room, cooler a bit noisy , pillows too lumpy but otherwise everything was quite nice. A big plus is that windows actually open, which is rare!

Breakfast was not included. Also, they demanded a $150 deposit for amenities. I had to call the hotel to release the deposit because they were still holding it 2 days after checkout. Also, the checkout receipt didn't print properly and didn't include their phone number.

This place is Simply Amazing. I usually go to Scottsdale around two times a year to visit my family and I always stay at this hotel . The rooms are , smell good and they are well kept. The pool is simply gorgeous everything is very clean and pretty. My brother works at the medical building across the street from this hotel and he always recommends it to the patients' family when they're looking for a place to stay.

The pepople were nice at check in . Cleanliness of the room wasnt the best. There was a bug in the bed and hair on the top bedspread abd the sheets between. I called thr front desk and she came and changed the bed and apologized. They didnt offer andthing to make it up which is fine but u think they would have.

Room was clean and nice. I loved the location so close to the freeway (101). Staff was very nice and cordial. Parking lot was convenient and free. We would definitely consider staying there again if we decide to travel to the Scottsdale, AZ area.

The doors to enter the bathroom are terrible. Why would you have a rolling barn door that gives no sense of privacy for the entrance to the bathroom.

This time the faucet for the bathroom sink was spewing water all over the counter and staff looked at it on Thursday but was not fixed as of Sunday. Also, the tv could not access any stations and same situation on reporting and not fixing.

Room 123 bathroom was wacko. The faucet in the sink was too close to the bowl, so when I washed my hands, the water went onto the bathroom counter, and then onto the floor. The toilet was also too close to the counter, barely missing the sharp corner many times.

Everything was great, especially the rooms and the bed. The bed was fabulous but the only bad thing was the TV was all messed up, but it ended up finally working.

Very nice hotel, outdoor area was well laid out with the hot tub next to pool and had nice cabanas with a bar close by. The room was a nice plush bed with great pillows. And the shower pressure was amazing. The bathroom layout was nice and big also. We drove 11 minutes to a nice restaurant that apparently will be closing this May.

It seemed like a really good value for the area. It’s very close to Taliesin West, which I knew I was going to visit. Also bookstore, gas stations, food options. Pretty much started by professional building buildings and shopping centers. Nice outdoor area with family turf area plus pool. Quiet with a comfortable bed. Nicely appointed bathroom with shower. (No tub).

Beautiful stay!

The only thing that disappointed me was that this hotel had a restaurant but it wasn’t included in the stay cost. I’m sure that this hotel has the money, and not to cover the small cost of a free breakfast is just a money grabbing shame. The hotel would have been perfect if it wasn’t for that. It’s expensive enough to travel, why can’t your company afford to supply a free breakfast for all of their guests and not just a few. I’ll have to rethink my booking with this the next time I’m looking for a place to stay.

The only odd thing was that the faucet just barely reached the sink, so washing hands would result in water on the counter. And if that’s my biggest complaint, it must have been a nice place.

We stayed here a couple years ago, and just recently. The hotel has not been updated and is really showing its age. The room was not in good shape.

We were locked out of our room because person didn’t check us in right. There was no breakfast free to go. Not worth the $10 when in other hotels free. Bartender was also the cook!

3 nites no maid service the whole time.

Our stay was very nice. The room was clean, and everyone was helpful. The only odd thing about the room was the bathroom door. The "door" is a sliding barn door with a large gap on either side of it, which means there is no privacy for anyone in the bathroom.

I liked that the place was vibrant, the staff welcoming and kind. The breakfast was simple.

Chose for its proximity to several ballparks and the airport (everything was about a 20 minute drive). Pool and patio area was fabulous. Dining options were good and a large grocery store a 10 minute walk.
