Hard to access from handicap parking

We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Chicago O’Hare. The one exception was that we were given a smoking room. One night a person came to his room very late and smoked quite a lot. This rested havoc with my breathing health issues. I requested a non smoking room and assumed that was what we were given.

We enjoyed the clean rooms with our stay. The airport shuttle service was excellent. The breakfast was very decent. It was also nice coming back to the pool or hot tub after a long walks through the city every day.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was good and started at 5:30 a.m., not 6 like other hotels.

The staff was very helpful, rooms were very clean, amenities were clean, breakfast everyday was good and the hotel is within reasonable distance of shopping as well as restaurants for dining.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton by Hilton. Room was clean and upgraded. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There were cookies out when we would come back at the end of the day and always water bottles available. We loved the pool and hot tub. Would recommend

The hotel was in a great location, close to the airport. A couple of restaurants were also walkable. The staff was helpful and the shuttle bus to the airport was also very convenient. The property was clean but could use a makeover. My biggest complaint was we had a room right next to the very loud street. All night, I listened to revving of engines and loud cars. Also, the big hotel sign was right outside our window and it lit up our window. We had an 8am flight and I wish I would have asked for a room on the other side of the road so be aware.

The staff were nice and very helpful. We appreciated the courtesy ride to and from the airport. The beds were comfortable enough and the place is clean, although not as clean as other places we've stayed with a little dust in the corners. The actual building and grounds are very dated and the place is pretty tired overall.

The room was beautiful, updated, lighting was perfect, bathroom was clean and well maintained! The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, appearing to enjoy their job. The breakfast was good and well stocked with adequate seating and clean space. The airport shuttle was very convenient! I also appreciated that breakfast started at 5:30 so we were able to eat before leaving for the airport. It was PERFECT for our needs - one night stay prior to catching a flight. If I was staying to enjoy the city, I wouldn't pick this location as it is pretty industrial as you would expect for an "airport" location. However, the hotel is well maintained and updated. A steal for the price!

Perfect to spend the night between flights. An excellent shuttle driver picked me up at airport. The return driver was uninterested and slow. Many of us sitting on shuttle as he took his sweet time to board. Just leave yourself a little extra time to avoid this. Front desk staff super friendly.

The hotel was generally quite nice and the staff very friendly, but a few things could have been better. I couldn't connect my laptop to the wifi, even though it worked fine with my phone; I called Hilton tech support and they assured me they had remedied the issue, but after three days it still would not connect, and I've never had a problem at other hotels, including other Hampton Inns. Also, the breakfast room was small and pretty chaotic, although the staff did a great job of keeping the food stocked. But overall we had a good experience there.

Spent one night at Hampton Inn before flying home. Bed was VERY comfortable and I slept great. I also tried out the jacuzzi/pool and it was really clean and very relaxing. The only disappointment was that the shuttle left before the breakfast area was open so all I got was coffee before leaving. Would definitely stay here again!!!!!!!

Hotel shuttle was helpful

Everything was great including the breakfast and the free shuttle. Staff even gave us free bottled water when we checked in which was so wonderful since we flew in, didn't have a car and differences in local drinking water often upsets my digestion. Just what we needed after a long international flight.

The breakfast was pretty good. I would not say the rooms are soundproof as I heard planes all night.

Good breakfast starting at 5:30 am and timely shuttle. We went to dinner at QBar down the road and it was excellent.

Everything was great but the only problem was the pool and the hot tub. Both were cold and my kids and I couldn't enjoy it at all. Some measures need to be taken when customers experience these issues, given our financial commitment to rental and other.

Room and public spaces seemed very clean, good selection of breakfast items and very good quality, seemed pretty popular with most of the guests. Check-in and out quick and easy. Room had plenty of space, lots of power outlets, and modern, stylish bathroom. Room temperature easy to control. Nearby airport and highway noise fairly muffled and not too noticeable.

Staff was good. Breakfast was awefull, few items has some smell too. Had a 1 queen bed room and it was so tiny that i cannot explain in words. The location of the hotel was also on a street where it felt like it was not that secure. Interesting how we get fooled by the pictures online.

It’s a good option for a quick rest. Has the minimum expected for the price you pay.

Property charges an incidental fee that was supposed to be returned at check out. They processed it as a debit and still have not refunded. They keep giving me the answer that is my bank that should resolve it. My banking institution shows the debit from the hotel and that they need to issue a refund. Vivienne at the front desk keeps telling me that it's my banks job. Rooms are not noise proof, they are bright and loud

Airport shuttle such a win

I liked how clean the room was! Very comfy and cozy. Had plenty of clothes storage space. The breakfast was okay I've had better. The "hot breakfast" eggs, bacon, and potatoes weren't even warm. The drink machine was out of order.

This was a decent enough hotel, the parking however is limited, hard to find a spot.

The room we got was with 2 queen beds, spacious, with mini fridge (no freezer), microwave, wardrobe with mirror, another big mirror, even night light in the bathroom, which I love. Breakfast was good, nothing spectacular. As long as they have waffles, I am happy. There was also egg/cheese omelette, bacon, cereal, oatmeal, fruit yogurt, and dry stuff like mini muffins, bread, etc. The staff was nice, checking in and out was fast.

My experience at the Hampton was wonderful, the staff was awesome great customer service. Our room was nice and clean and the continental breakfast was good. We’ll be coming back here for sure, I have nothing negative to say but thank you for an excellent experience and great customer service.

What a pleasant hotel experience! We stayed over for 1 night as I had a company party to attend. The room was clean, well set up and quite comfortable. The staff were outstanding. Anahi helped with our check in and check out and she did a great job and was such a positive representative of the hotel. She helped with an early check in that was seamless. The staff also sent texts to make sure that we were settling in right after our check in. Nice touch. We would definitely stay here again!

Room was clean. The amenities were good. Most of the staff was friendly however, my first encounter with the staff member was a young lady working in the front desk when I checked in on Thursday night at first, my key card did not work in my hotel room and I specifically requested a room on the end corner. The young lady responded to me didn’t even bother to check. She just defaulted and said they were booked, and that there were no more rooms available. Then I saw the older white lady checking in and I noticed that her complementary gift included water bottles, but also snacks. My complementary gift did not include snacks. I just received three water bottles so it almost felt like there was some prejudice or racism there which made me feel like I wasn’t an appreciated customer. I then noticed on the website it appeared that the shuttle offered you rides to other destinations in the area while I was quickly informed that the shuttle only took you to the airport and that was it. The breakfast was good. I just didn’t feel very welcome when I was there I felt like I was just a number. I chose that hotel because of the shuttle and I thought the shuttle offered you rides to other destinations in Chicago and it did not. Overall, my day was just OK but I do not think that I will book this hotel if I come back to Chicago, which I do plan on coming back but I think I’m gonna stay at another hotel that seemed a little bit more friendlier and made me feel like I was welcomed.

I recently visited Chicago from Atlanta to spend Saturday with my grandson who goes to college outside of Chicago. Staying at this Hampton Inn made the trip so easy. The staff was extremely courteous, especially the front desk. The room was spotless. The breakfast was very good. The easiest part was the shuttle back to the airport early in the morning.

It was a pretty good stay! The staff were amazing and very attentive during my stay! The breakfast was great and there were a lot of options. There are just two things to keep in mind. The hotel is located on a very busy street which is obvious since it’s located right next to the airport. For example, if you’re driving southbound it’s very difficult to get to the hotel due to traffic and there is only a center turning lane. The room was clean however, the walls are thin, and you can hear the shower run and toilet flush from the room next to you.

The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable even the pillows were great I rarely find such a good combination! The staff was quick to greet us and extremely efficient, friendly, helpful. I had a few special requests as I'm 64 on oxygen and I use a walker. Every staff member welcome my family and helped us enjoy our stay and feel relaxed. We only spent one night because we were taking my grandsons to the airport in the early in the morning. The hotel shuttle was perfect, grampa was able to take the boys to the airport and come back to the hotel and rest a bit before we headed home. I absolutely recommend this Hampton inn, and I will definitely be back to enjoy another stay. The breakfast was also amazing the boys had a good breakfast before their nine hour flight, which helped me relax and enjoy our visit. The selection of breakfast items was enough to satisfy the whole family. We had a adjoining rooms with queen beds. I couldn't ask for a better stay, so thank you Hampton inn staff!

There is no water bottle in the room, no guidance for how to make a coffee in a room. No toothpaste is very small thing is make big different front desk never told how to open the door. I have to go down twice. Door wasn’t open.

Room is clean. Not too quiet thou. You can still hear noise from the outside. They didn’t clean our room at all and we stayed for 2 nights. I didn’t complaints thou. Staff were ok. Not too friendly or helpful. Parking quite small. They need to put a ventilation in the bathroom to help get rid of the smell. Overall it was OK. Not bad. Not super great. Still come back but not too impressed. Maybe it’s just this location. I’ll try a different location next time.

After a terrible hotel experience during our stay at another hotel, this was a truly refreshing surprise! The hotel was beautiful & clean & the staff was the friendliest I’ve encountered. We spent part of the evening eating & talking with friends in the lobby. I couldn’t help but notice how the desk staff’s positive attitude impacted so many guests dealing with travel delays.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice being included and the free parking was nice while we used the train to get back and forth to downtown! We would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast buffet: employee constantly yelling at people (not us) to close the lid on the tray of eggs. Slamming doors close at 10 when people were waiting for bagels to pop up. Pool: unsupervised kids. Notified front desk and the kid were there for another hour while we were. Safety: exterior door to parking lot did not lock or require key card to enter for the entirety of three day stay. We notified the front desk on day 1 Both key cards stopped working on day 2 of three day stay. We were locked out of our room and they had me and three kids wait in the lobby at 9 pm until my husband arrived to show his id even though it was my credit card being held for the hotel room. The next morning the keys stopped working again. Overall, not an impressive stay. Would not recommend…especially for the money spent.

Everything is good, Unfortunately, the TV system had an issue — the screen showed a bluish tint, which was uncomfortable to look at. It seemed that all the TVs in the hotel had the same problem.

I came here because of the proximity to the airport. Was able to take a free shuttle even though we arrived after midnight. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and the room rate was good for Chicago in the 3 star hotel range.

This property really surprised me. I booked a Queen bed but they gave me a double lol (extra space for just me). The tv was upgraded with my favorite streaming services and the bathroom was pretty cool too. Breakfast in the morning and a shuttle back and forth to the airport was also so convenient . I would definitely rebook here!

Room was very nice and service to and from the airport was excellent. Only stayed one night but will stay here the future when flying into and out of O’Hare.

A little expensive for a nice convenient hotel. Highway noise wasn't too bad. Best part was that the room was squeaky clean, and the shuttle got me to the airport just in time to make my flight.

The staff were friendly, our room was very clean, the gym was well-appointed, and the pool and hot tub were great! I felt safe in my room and around the area. Breakfast had a wider variety of items than I expected, and the coffee was delicious :) The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet, too.

Great hotel

Staff was pleasant and the free breakfast was stocked even after the 10am close. It was appreciated. The room was clean enough. The pillows are child-sized, a little annoying for someone who likes to sleep sitting up.

They got us checked in early without even asking, so we could go to the game with no worries. The shuttle service was awesome! The hotel is super clean, comfortable, and friendly!

Nightmare night. No safety box had to carry all my valuables everywhere. Breakfast just ok Be warned , room is made other everyday. This is only announced on a sticker on the bathroom mirror.

This hotel is very clean. Loved the fact that the shuttle comes every 15 minutes to pick you up from the airport.Unlike some other hotels that could take half an hour up to1 hour.

I was recently stranded around midnight in Chicago after the air traffic system meltdown in England delayed my Heathrow flight by 3.5 hours and British Air was incapable of providing hotel accommodation for some reason. I quickly booked a room at the O’Hare Hampton using Expedia, BUT when the taxi delivered me there, it turned out the Expedia site was in error, and there were no rooms available. Despite my visible frustration, Alan, the agent on duty, worked with me to quickly cancel and get refunded the payment from Expedia. Alan then found a room that had been closed for cleaning and mercifully booked me into it so I could recover with a few hours sleep after my 24+ hour odyssey. He was always helpful and accommodating. Alan for President, I say — and as I told him: it’s why I chose Hampton Inn instead of others near O’Hare for half the price. That night of sleep made all the difference on my continued journey for a family wedding the day after.

The staff was superior in all interactions. The rooms were neat and clean with no maintenance issues. The hot tub was an amazing temperature, just right for soothing aches and pain. The breakfast was okay …. It could have had a little bit more on offer for hot foods. But over all it was the best experience I’ve had recently at a hotel. I have four more days planned on this trip so we will see if it stays the best.

Great location, fantastic hotel with super friendly staff. The Shuttle Bus to Chicago O’Hare runs 24/7 every 15-20 minutes which is super convenient for those early morning or late night flights.

I called the hotel at 1130 the 16th the operator said no rooms available and she will cancel it .

This truly is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in and everyone was sooo nice. If you need a clean hotel to stay in close to the airport and have no interest in walking to restaurants or bars this place is incredible. But there is absolutely nothing in walking distance for food or other entertainment. As a hotel, this place is wonderful. I wish every hotel was managed this way and was so clean and friendly.

The staff was amazing. I arrived late to a packed lobby and the women who checked me in didn't tell my room number out loud in the packed lobby. Solo women traveler goals, right there. Made me feel safe and comfortable immediately, and they were all so friendly. Hoping I don't miss a flight again, but if I do, or need a stay before flying out of O'Hare, this is the spot.

I stayed at Hampton Inn Chicago Int'l Airport for one night and it was a great experience. The check-in was smooth, quick, and the staff is very friendly. I booked a king room with sofa bed, and it was enough space for my family. I liked the personalised touch with the welcome message on the tv. The bathroom is bright and has good shower pressure. The room seems to have good soundproofing as I did not hear noise from other rooms. The next day, breakfast options are: waffles, eggs, sausage patty, boiled eggs, cereal, bagel/toast, and yoghurt. Drinks are dark roast coffee, decaf coffee, hot water, tea and hot chocolate packets, and orange juice. There is a fitness centre, indoor pool, and business centre. Parking is free and they also have a shuttle to the airport which you'll need to check with the front desk for the times. The area has no food or store options within walking distance but you can drive south about 7 to 10 minutes for Jewel Osco and fast food restaurants. Overall, I liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again as it has great amenities and above all, the service is excellent.

It's just north of a rough neighborhood, but it's actually really nice. The staff were delightful. It's clean and well-kept. Breakfast was boring but sufficient. Not too close to the city, but also not too far. Like 30-50 min depending on traffic.
