    It was an okay stay. Room was well worn and dated but clean-ish at least. Some sort of convention going on and other hotel stayers were up super late and loud in the hallways. Cooking something very odorous as well so that was kind of annoying. The guy at the front desk was super great so well done there.     This property is clearly not being maintained to Hyatt standards. Our room would never have passed a basic QA inspection. We found hair on the bathroom walls, floors, and in the bathtub upon arrival. The bathroom door was crumbling, and the furniture was scratched and heavily worn. The issues extended throughout the hotel. Hallways were littered with old garbage, room service trays, and dirty dishes. Baseboards were ripped off the walls, ceilings showed water damage, and the overall property felt neglected. The outdoor pool was covered with a tarp and surrounded by a deck with a large hole in it. Walking through the atrium, we could see rooms on the 4th and 5th floors that appeared completely trashed through the windows. What frustrated me most was the lack of management response. Brandon at the front desk reviewed photos, apologized, and agreed the room was not up to standard. He advised Director of Operations Florijan Matic would contact us. Nothing. When I followed up, Brandon discovered the case had been closed without anyone reaching out. He submitted a second ticket. More than 48 hours later, still no call or email. To make matters worse, the hotel was hosting a convention featuring highly sexualized costumes and displays in public areas while children were present. The condition of the property and complete lack of follow-through made this an incredibly disappointing stay.

    There was a major water main break that caused significant damage throughout the whole hotel. This happened the day before we checked in and were never alerted. Bar and restaurant closed. Clean up crews drying out everything out 24/7 in the hallways. Dirty and smelly. Told the front desk how displeased we were and they could care less! Nothing complimentary. Never again!!!

    It looks nice on the outside and lobby, but the rooms are very tired. We had a room on the main floor, which is actually half a level below the lobby. You can smell the pool and the mustiness of the hotel. Carpets are old, lighting is bad, TV is old tech. It's just tired. Felt a little gross to walk on the carpets.

    First, no working TV or room phone! Tried calling the front desk with cell phone and their phone was out of order. Pool was FREEZING!! Kids couldn’t even have fun! Jacuzzi was broke down. There was a bug in bed next to the window. The coffee in the room was disgusting. I’m sad we waisted our time and money staying here

    The carpeting in our room had dark black ink stains right as we walked in, which was not a great first impression. The bathroom is updated, yet tiny, and there's unused empty room space outside of it, so that was a little frustrating. The bed was comfortable, and the rest of the room was tidy and nice. The elevators are dated, and one was broken most of our stay. We got coffee early both mornings and there was only one man working at the cafe counter, so the line/wait was unusually long. Overall, we found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Lampshades were heavily stained, faulty light bulbs kept going in and out from overheating, heavy dust flying around the room, damages to the bed frame and night stand, deep crack in the ceiling, black mold in the vent in the bathroom, and a pool that can't be used because of how cold it is.     Stayed one night had an unpleasant experience at checkout. Had two rooms reserved for the next two nights nonrefundable. We didn’t go back. They can keep their money. I won’t stay at any Hyatt anymore. They’re not like they used to be and neither are their people, enough said.

    We were disappointed with the condition of the room we stayed in. The furniture had distress marks and looked worn while the bed was very average. Also, the bathroom did not have a fan. Their lobby was nice which is not representative of the rooms.

    Honestly I think this will be our last stay there. I decided last minute to drive up to my kids chess event.I asked at desk if they could match hotels.com. They stated they can not but if I wanted to step aside and book online I could. Then mentioned I could cancel it their was a chess rate that must have been steeper. I was tired and just said no that's fine. The hotel pool is notable cold and the building is outdated too. If it was.not for the convenience of staying there for in between matches it really has nothing amenities wise. Rooms are outdated, toilet ran on off. The shower level was wayward. It does offer a Starbucks in the lobby but they were out of a lot of stuff and my latte was the worst I have ever had. I don't understand the room rates being attainable.

    Bed sheets had holes in them. Bed did not have a comforter on it. Instead they used a sheet, a blanket then another sheet. Hotel room was very dated and worn. It did not match the price asked to stay there.

    The staff everywhere on site were super accommodating and friendly. The food and drinks were above average. I would have rated with 5 stars and excellent, but our room was way too warm. We even shut the heating unit off, and still, the room was super uncomfortable for sleeping. It stayed at 75. Had it not been so late, we would have called for maintenance. Otherwise I would highly recommend it.

    Overall, we had a very pleasant short stay. The room was spotless and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, with extra towels thoughtfully provided in the bathroom.     My husband had a medical emergency on Sunday morning and the front desk associate had perfect recommendations for Newmed walk-in clinic. After his evaluation the MD on duty sent us to St Alexius which is the ER that the Hyatt employee told us to go to. We are pleased by such excellent service. The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is 5star!

    Horrible beds and pillows for the price range. There is a mall literally across the main road about 3 minute drive. There are plenty of restaurants in the area with a sports bar and a steak house right next to the hotel. Olive Garden is also about a five minute walk.

    We were in room 5334 which was at the end of a corridor and didn't have any noises extra, only a slight hum from the fridge and the usual air conditioning. The bathroom was quite small and the door, when opened, nearly touched the toilet but the shower was good. There is a shuttle bus but it only works within 4 miles so you have to pay for a taxi for the airport or get the 606 bus over the road and then the train from Rosemount.

    I have stayed at The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg several times within a span of 9 months. I love how convenient shopping, and dining options are in the area. I must admit this particular stay was as pleasant as my previous visits. My check-out process wasn't seamless as past visits, and the bathroom wasn't as clean as it has been in the past.

    Hyatt Schaumburg is located in an area that is upscale, with plenty of shopping and good restaurants. The hotel itself is modern and well maintained. The staff that I encountered were excellent. I asked Kam , the receptionist, where something was located , and instead of pointing she walked me to the location and in addition, showed me two more areas ( pool & gym). Poll is small , only 4 foot deep but room temperature, not icy cold. Starbucks in the lobby . Breakfast is buffet priced at over $20 , but nice , with just about everything, including omelette station. Tool has programable safe. Bathroom is rather small . You can't enter the shower without closing the bathroom entrance door. Room was clean on arrival and cleaned daily . Checkin is at 4 pm, checkout is at 11 am .

    It started very well with an early check in and loved how spacious the room was it was very clean and accommodated the final dress fitting i was having with my client. The hotel in general in all common areas were very spacious and airy. i would definitely stay here again. The hotel was close to everything and the mall and shopping areas were walkable if u don’t have a car.

    This property is worn out and in desperate need of room updates. The staff are heads down and seem overworked. That leaves the impression they don’t have much time for you.     No hot tub, pool was all one depth all around and was in a basement on its own. We were in a room super far from elevators that must have flooded because we had to walk through slushy wet carpet to get to our room, which made our carpet wet. Couch in the room did not pull out and one side of it was open with no arm rest so not comfortable to sleep on at all. Room service came but didn’t give us any towels so we had to call for new ones.

    Staff were nice, beautiful lobby, room was great, and the breakfast was outstanding; would definitely stay again! Also, conveniently close to the mall, plenty of dining options, and the highway. Highly recommend

    The hotel is beautiful, convenient, clean, and affordable. When we first got there we were given a room and upon going up to it there were already bags and someone was clearly staying there. We went downstairs, they told us there shouldn't have been anyone but gave us a new room. We went back upstairs at which point we walked into a King Room when we had paid for (and needed) 2 doubles. I called down this time and said I needed the double room, and they argued a bit over whether I paid more for a double, my need for a double, and said they'd check and call me back. No apology at all.15 Minutes later he called, met me upstairs with a key for a room (3131 maybe) down a long smelly hallway, but it was 2 doubles, no one was staying in it, so fine. The AC dripped all night long so there's a large wet spot on the floor next to the bed. Two night stay, we wouldn't be hanging out in the room, we're fine. I also approached a staff member in the lobby (carrying something, so I assumed working otherwise I wouldn't) and asked if they knew where I could get some utensils. They replied saying they were off instead of pointing me in the direction. I work in retail and understand bad days, again, this isn't a bad review for a bad hotel. I get the hourly employee mindset. I wanted to put this out there so maybe they'd look at it as an opportunity for improvement.

    However, it was really noisy on our first night. They must have some kind of party in a tent right below our room. We can hear the loud music on the 5th (top) floor till 2300. The bathroom door was hard to close, the door to the room has a gap in the corner so other people can see the light in the room from outside via the gap. The iron left a burnt mark on my white cami.

    Disappointed with room received after checking in. We were to be upgraded to the deluxe king suite instead of receiving a reimbursement for breakfast as we were checking out prior to breakfast being served. We instead received no reimbursement and was placed in a demoted room the standard double queen.

    The property was very clean. Inside and outside was very clean. It’s conveniently located near tons of shopping and dining options. It’s also located near several family attractions. I was there for a family reunion and everyone enjoyed their stay. My only issue was the bed was NOT comfortable. I did manage to get some sleep though. The check in receptionist named Kam was an absolute charm. She was very attentive helpful and accommodating. She was the best representation of the hotel and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. If I were to return to this particular hotel it would be because of Kam. She’s the best!

    The room also had a connecting attached, which left the light on all night and with the giant gap around the door, lit up our room like we had our lights on. Definitely not what we expected from a Hyatt Regency.

    booked this hotel based on its 8.6/10 rating on Expedia, but my experience was completely different. The room was dirty, it smelled of dampness, the carpet had a bad odor, and the bathroom was also unclean. When I complained, the manager said I would receive a refund, but that never happened. I feel completely disappointed and misled. I do not recommend this hotel.

    We reserved a four day stay and the hotel itself and the employees were great! The issue was that the A/c on the 4th floor was horrible! We couldn’t get the temperature to go down past 74 degrees in our room! The outside Temperature was 95 degrees and the humidity was about as bad!! My wife and I finally decided to leave the hotel and went to another one after three nights!

    Fine for a week. It’s got a good location by the mall and restaurants. It’s gut amenities like a Starbucks, bar, restaurant and room service. It’s been remodeled but some stuff is showing wear like the carpet, multiple layers of paint, etc.
