Absolutely loved the hotel but the only thing I didn’t care for were the television choices!

Calm area. We didn’t like the strong smell of smoke that was absorbed into the walls and towels and finding dog droppings on the lawn was very unpleasant.

Property was pristine. Property did allow pets, but we didn't bring any. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but the slamming of doors was a bit much. It was also noisy above us since we stayed on the 1st floor. We would book a stay here again, but away from the exits and book a room on the 3rd floor.

Exterior stairs were not cut properly, there was a landing and both top step was wrong. Top step of the run was higher making a trip hazard which I'm short so was a high step for me. Surprised this would have passed an code inspection.

Overall, everything was very good. Clean, neat, and modern. I was pleasantly surprised that our room even had a full kitchen — you could actually cook there if you wanted to.

The location was the only thing I did like about the property and the staff were really kind and helpful. The property looks like it’s very old and been patched up to maintain some form of hotel standards. It was FREEZING and snowing outside and the hallways to the hotel were warmer than my room (with the heater on). There were holes in the walls that were patched up but not painted over, huge stains in the carpets, toilets didn’t flush right, water pressure was very low, cracks in the seems of the walls and floor corners, rips in the curtains, fence outside wind was busted as if it’s been kicked in. Again the staff was very kind but this should not be a Hilton, more like an upscale motel 6. The rooms were just very run down. While I was in the lobby trying to change my room another guest came in complaining about the water running down his ceiling behind the head board of his bed. They were kind and moved him to a different room also. But this place should not be under the Hilton brand cause it definitely did not give Hilton, not even residence inn, more like a Motel. Definitely would NOT EVER be returning to this property. The pictures are deceiving on the websites. And if you book through a third party you will get the cheap run down rooms that need a lot of things fixed, in the back of the property (that’s the perception I got).

Convenient to where I needed to be.

I didn’t stay. The booking was not what i expected. There was no access to a pool. There was no hot tub. I left as soon as i checked in. Didn’t eve stay

Friendly fast service

Food options for breakfast was repetitive. Need more like French toast sticks, danish’s, etc.. otherwise rooms were comfortable and easy in and out of the location. I will come back .

I can't say enough about Homewood Suites in Schaumburg, Il. The property is kept up and looks like it was an apartment complex before. This is a great thing. The suites are big and comfortable! Separate living room, kitchen and bathroom with lots of space. On drawback if you can't climb stairs, the buildings are separated and have 2 to 3 floors. Not ideal if you have lots of luggage or difficulties walking but the staff are happy to accommodate their guests which they did with a smile. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. Kudos to the staff and management!

We arrived earlier than expected and they were nice enough to let us use the pool and check us in early. The room was clean and the free breakfast in the morning was amazing! They even had carnitas, homemade chia pudding, and a bunch of other stuff on it. Pool is small but still good enough for the kids!

Pool was not maintained and having lot of bugs and other crap in there.

There was no room available when we tried to check in. I was not notified.

Customer ser ice was very excellent. As we were checking in, my huband was having ballance issues and they anticipated my needs and changed me to a lower level without me having to ask. The room was spacious and clean. Very nice pool and grilling area as well.

Excellent stay. Very good continental breakfast. Convenient location. Greatsuites. Called to ask about crib and it was in the room upon arrival. Nice staff, only issue was pool was locked and they couldnt find key but its start of summer so we were probably some of the first that wanted to swim this year.

Overall great experience would come back

My stay went smoothly and the staff was very friendly. My unit was close to an exit door, so it was a bit loud. Other then that, my stay was excellent.

Perfect amount of space when traveling with teenagers.

Wonderful facility--very nice

The fireplace suite we stayed is was awesome. The only reason I gave it a good rating and not excellent was the bed was super uncomfortable. Very hard, and the couch that folded into a bed was a VERY HARD futon. Other than that the place was amazing.

There was a lot of dog poop around that we had tk be careful not to step in. The room was basic but spacious and clean.

All I can say is that the hotel refused me to stay because of some city ordinance, and I understand that part, but they took my money and are not willing to issue me a refund .

The only negative is, is that the hotel need to invest into more comfortable sofas in the living area. Those sofas look soft until you sit down and they are HARD AS A BRICK!! Other than that, The stay was great!!

I check in at 9:00 or 10:00 p.m. and the first room they give me there's construction inside. Go back to the main office and they give me another room. I go in the room and the carpet was washed and wet. So I asked for a refund. Very bad service. They would not even give me a refund until I argue.

The only down fall was that our bathtub did not drain while showering so you stood in dirty gross water and also the handle was broken so it was difficult to not only turn on but also to get the water temperature to hot. These both concern me bc if the bathroom was cleaned properly the maids would/should have alerted maintenance this fixed.

Superb Customer Service... from the time we arrived... EVERYTHING has been excellent.. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Great breakfast... Lovely holiday decorations in lobby (great backdrop for photos). The only hiccup was being wiithout water service for several hours due to a pipe bursting near the hotel. I am hoping the hotel will offer some sort of partial refund for this inconvenience. All in all, this was a great experience.

One of the standout features for me was their pet-friendly policy, which allowed me to bring my dog along for the trip. It made our stay so much more enjoyable to have my furry friend by my side. Awesome mini apartment like one bedroom suite. Didn’t have an oven, but not a deal breaker, the room was clean and cozy. The different units were not marked off very clearly, but once you figure it out, it was fine. They have a very lovely lobby and the breakfast was awesome. Definitely will be staying again when in the area.

This was my first stay at this hotel and I really enjoyed the comfort of the room the staff and breakfast . I will most definitely be returning and sharing my experience with my friends and family . The best customer service.

We have a suite for 6 and it was roomy and very clean. Staff was very nice. I definitely will return to this hotel!

We booked this because it was close to Medieval Times where we were celebrating my son's birthday. When we pulled up it seemed clean from the street. Once inside we had to wait for residents to get their mail before we could even check in, once checked in we drove around back and we were instantly uncomfortable as there were what we think were residence just staring at us as we hurried into our room, which one of the men stood in front of the door and wouldn't let my son open the door while my husband was out of sight around the corner, as soon as he appeared the guy asked him if he wanted help getting to his room and my husband was polite and said no. The room itself wasn't clean, nor did it smell like any cleaning product had been used and once we turned the water on it showed as all the water beaded (this is unclean). There was 4 people literally blocking us from parking when we returned from the show and would not move, we had to park in a different area out of site from our room and walk through the courtyard where again we were met with some not so pleasant people. We hardly slept there was so much noise. We got up and left as soon as we could. We will never go back to this place!

Check in and check out was super easy. This hotel is different from others I’ve been too. The outside layout is more like an apartment but that’s what makes it unique. I think they did a very job cleaning the rooms because everything felt very clean and homey and we didn’t find anything left behind from other guests. The place itself can use some updating but again, its very clean. They did a great job and it shows. However, the pool water was a little dirty but maybe its because there were a few guests there prior to us going in the pool. I love that they have a kitchen, utensils, fridge, microwave. It’s so nice to have everything in one place especially at this place. We will definitely stay again!

The outdoor pool area was clean. The rooms are okay. Our room did smell like someone had previously smoked in it. Our room was supposed to have 2 queen beds but the size was most definitely full and quite tight. We would probably pay more to stay somewhere else next time. Also the hotel has the Hilton/Homewood name but it is independently owned and operated by a family business.

The hotel is laid out more like an apartment complex, which is different but actually kind of nice. Convenient to Woodfield Mall and other Schaumburg locations.

Room was nice. Kind of out dated. Breakfast was good every morning. Bed was very comfy. Had a fridge, sink, table and countertop burner to make food in the room of wanted. Staff was nice. I would recommend friends and family to stay here.

Really good place to stay.

Was a decent hotel. I did not like the 10 pm sharp curfew where we had to leave the courtyard. I’m talking on the dot they come out and send us inside. It was discouraging considering we were sitting quietly in the patios chairs talking amongst friends. I’m not an early to bed king of person so that part wasn’t for me

Would definitely stay again. 1 bedroom suite was wonderful with a 4 and 1.5 year old.

Nice room, clean and lots of natural light availability. The lobby was nice and the breakfast buffet was good. Has lots of parking available. Didn't have any loud neighbors. Had a 3rd floor room. The elevator did make me nervous though, it was clunking loudly and wasn't a smooth ride up and down.

Great property. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast! The location is easy to get to and in the middle of everything. Will stay again next time I am in town.

It was 11pm and I have 3 small children so we all slept in the bedroom of the suite because the roaches were in the kitchen area. In the morning I told front desk staff in a very nice way and all they could do was stare at me and say nothing. I never requested a refund, we did stay the night. But I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The exterior of the building is like” small condos apartment complex “ , it was very hard to find the apt / suite number. There are no written signs. It does look a little shabby from outside but it’s pretty good from inside. Good spacious place. It was clean. No complaints, it’s a decent place.

The location of the hotel was awesome close to everything. When we checked in the front desk person was awesome. With a lot of suggestions on where to eat. Breakfast was nice. Not huge but enough to start your day. The rooms are very big. Ours had a little kitchenette with a king size bed. I would highly recommend staying there.

Homewood Suites Schaumburg is amazing! The atmosphere, the cleanliness of the property, the service from the staff… excellent! Only thing I wish were better was the sofa bed… quite uncomfortable but beyond that, the suite was nice and comfortable.

I didn’t like the fact that it was an outside pool and no indoor but overall stay was great! My family enjoyed themselves.

My grandson & I were in town to attend Midieval Times for his birthday. We enjoyed our stay overall (although I did not realize I booked a place with an outdoor pool until it was too late to cancel). Room was clean & set up nicely. Staff was friendly on the occasions we had to interact

The service was impeccable. My primary complaint is that the property is divided into separate buildings. If you want breakfast or to go to the gym, you have to get dressed to go OUTSIDE in the cold and the dark to walk to the main lodge. It's very inconvenient.

The room was spacious, like an apt... just wish housekeeping program the clean rooms so check in would have been a breeze but i had to wait 35 minutes to checking after driving 6 hours. i would stay again because of privacy and space

If the only pool is outside, it should specify that in the listing. No milk/creamer option for the coffee. Called to the front office multiple times, no answer. Had to walk down, which in a normal hotel would be no issue. But when it’s cold and snowing, it’s less than ideal.

My family and I went in the winter and the room I reserved had a nice fireplace.. the only thing I wasn’t please about I request room service returning to the room after a long day to no clean linens or towels 😏after an hr they did bring it up for me to change

I stay here every year during a local trade show. It's quiet, and comfortable and close to the action without being at the center of it.

the furnace did not work in the room. it was 62 when I got there. I was given batteries for the thermostat, but they were the wrong size. They gave me an electric heater that help warm the room to 68.

It’s just Ok. The beddings were dirty and had to ask for new ones. There hotels were not cleaned well enough, there were still left over foods in the room.

Room was clean. Beds uncomfortable and bedding not warm. Room was spacious and accommodating. Why do all hotels no longer put trashcan in the bathroom? Would stay again. Pool too cold to swim in, but nice access to basketball courts and felt safe.

This is a family friendly hotel that can accommdate a family with more than 2 kids with suites. The front desk staff are friendly and breakfast has varity of foods.
