    Beautiful room and very clean. I loved the property has a gym. and the carpet in the room that starts a bit after the tile when you initially walk through the door is very thoughtful! I was charged twice. and there isnt room service as far as ordering breakfast.

    Room was so hot. 75 degrees, we contacted the front desk and they told my husband to take it apart and try to fix it which made no sense.. like we're the guests!! Send maintenance to come and fix it! They told us there was nothing else they could do since what my husband did didn't work.

    We arived and the host told us our rooms were not ready yet and to give them 15-20 minutes. Totally fine, we went and grabbed some lunch and stopped at a gas station before returning. Upon return a different host explained that the computers were down, but they had our room keys and we went to our rooms. I got 2 rooms, both king size beds. When we went up to our rooms, they were both dirty and uncleaned by the maids who were in our hallway. We asked then if they could clean it and they told us 15-20 minutes it will be done. I took my child down to the pool to entertain him and get us out of the way for the cleaning ladies. We were down there for about 30-40 minutes. Upon leaving a diffrent hotel employee stopped us to tell us our rooms were not cleaned and to give them about 15-20 minutes and they can have them cleaned.They also tried to move us rooms multiple times after we had already been given our keys and took our bags to our rooms. My husband told them that we are not moving rooms. It took a total of 3 hours to get 2 rooms gleaned that were right next to eachother. They got our rooms cleaned and gave us some M&MS for the trouble. Im not sure if they were missing employees that day but it was a bit of a headache getting a clean room. Or a room cleaned.

    Everyone was really nice. The hotel was easy to get to, and it was really clean. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. My favorite part was the made to order breakfast (which you do pay for, but it wasn’t overly expensive). The only reasons I didn’t give a 5 are because the pool was out of order and the elevator made weird noises. That seems silly, but the noises were very concerning!

    Room was comfortable for our limited overnight before flying out. Next to highway, so be prepared with ear plugs or sound machine (used our cell phone Better Sleep app on green noise and slept great). Ample parking, friendly staff, convenient to ORD.

    I wasn’t able to check into my room until after 5pm when check-in is at 3pm. I was told housekeeping was in there. Only to get in the room and there was a broken window. The bar was closed and so was the pool. My over experience wasn’t a good one.

    I can tell the bed Linens were not changed there were hairs and crumbs and things of that nature on the beds. The shower water went completely cold, ice cold, and I told the front desk. All they said was sorry about that and did nothing to resolve the issue.

    The property was clean for the most part. The property could use some updates. The a/c was not functioning properly but worked. The desk clerk at checkout was not very pleasant. I usually get a itemized bill receipt but I didn't. The elevators were extremely slow. The beds and bedding were comfy. The carpets had stains and hair was still in the shower from previous customers. It wasn't the IHG level that I am accustomed to.

    I had a wonderful stay with my sister and besties this past weekend. Hotel is very clean with ample parking and accessible to major highways.     I am thrilled they let me check in early. I came for my DNP graduation wirh my son. I am disappointed there were only two towels in the room, one regular coffee pod. I could have gone downstairs and asked for more but I chose not to. I booked a hotel with a po but it was closed and if you book a roo. Wirh more than one person for more than one day, why do you need to adk for badic essential item. The units air conditioner was loud, the room with a view and sound of a busy highway.

    There was no soap for the bathroom sink or the bathtub. There was no shampoo for the tub. You took away the bars of soap, so the maids do not know when the container is empty so they left them empty. There was no dispenser for the toilet paper. You had to find a couple of half empty rolls on the shelf. A dispenser would have been nice.

    I found it to be a perfectly nice hotel. The checkin staff was personable and efficient. The room was clean. The bed, etc. were all good. I was there for 3 nights. They said they would only service the room on request. On the morning of day 2, I ask for fresh towels and an additional bar of soap as the soap was the size of a half dollar. The room was not serviced. I made do. I asked again on the morning of day 3 that the room be serviced. Both the morning manager and the general manager assured me it would be a priority and that it would be serviced. IT WAS NOT. That evening I had to go to the front desk for additional towels, soap and shampoo. They had no shampoo (only conditioner). That's simply not satsifactory. There are simply too many other options in the area.

    It was so terrible that we checked out early after 2 nights rather than stay the full 7 nights and moved to a different hotel - Hyatt in Chicago. I am so scarred by my experience that even during rest of my trip i am avoiding any IHG property as i do not want to live through the nightmare. Housekeeping staff picked up the tip we left them, but did not bother to leave paper cups and fresh towels.

    The staff is very friendly and I like the rooms and the bed. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 was because I had no soaps or shampoo in my room.     Families and parents, please note that the pool is closed as of June 2025, and it appears to have been out of service for some time. We stayed with a child, but they were not included in the breakfast. While the breakfast is good, the kids' breakfast is inexpensive. Additionally, the hotel seems to need more attention to detail. For example, the water provided for guests had old orange slices in it and was quite disgusting.

    The gentleman who drove the shuttle was exceptional!!!!(Antonio) The 2 servers at the Happy Hour were very personable and pleasant. Thank them for their suggestions burger and Alfredo!     Buying the breakfast for an additional fee is worth it if you like simple fixings– sausage, potatoes, eggs, breads (muffins, scones, pancakes, biscuits), and fruit. Bar has a decent stock of drinks (beers, wines, spirits) The area around the hotel is very quiet; easy access to freeway but next to a nice suburban residential neighborhood. Within 5 minutes of shopping– health (Vitamin Shoppe, Planet Fitness), various restaurants (national chains, local eats, various cultures), and specialty stores (sports, hookah, beauty, etc.). 10-12 minutes away from Burlington, Ross, a nice mall (Simon property) with A LOT of stores. Convenient, but with location with high accessibility, variety of amenities. Will stay again for a lot of reasons!

    There was a giant dead spider as soon as you walk in the room. The sheets had yellow stains from previous peoples sweat. There are signs that say vending machine, but they do not have one. The ice machine was broken.The shower head was broken.

    Pool was out of order and we weren’t even notified about it. The whole point of staying there was because of the pool. Then breakfast was only for two people when my sister and I were traveling with our kids, that’s a little ridiculous especially when we’re paying for it.

    We planned a quick little mom's day away and booked with the Holiday Inn Chicago. We had an issue with our actual room's temperature. We had turned on the AC to cool the room down some and it ended up getting up to 80 degrees in our room. Then we flipped it over to heat and then that's when the cooler air would blow. It was strange but that was the only issue we really ran into.

Overall okay, but can tell a quick remodel was done without a care of quality. The toilet paper holder was loose and did not hold the toilet paper. There was no fridge in the room, even though i chose a room that did. I was never told by staff what time checkout was, it was posted as 12:00PM on the back of the room door. However on my day of checkout someone knocked on my door at 10:45AM, I was in the showering so I did not respond. The person used their keycard and opened the door, it did not open all the way since I had the secondary lock in place. When i was able to get to the door there was no one there. I did have my do not disturb sign in place. Not a big deal just odd and irritating.

    Checked into the hotel and our room had no towels. They told us that housekeeping went home and they cooks t help us with getting any towels. I could keep going on and on but I’ll never stay at a Holiday Inn again. With so many options in Schaumburg, book something else.

    My room wasn't ready when we arrived at 3:00pm to check in. We waiting until 3:45pm to get a room. The room wasn't not very clean. We found wrappers, hair ties and the bath tub was dirty. There wasn't any linens for the pull-out couch. There wasn't any cups and only 1 coffee. The pool was cloudy/disgusting and there were not any towels. I will not return to this hotel.

    The night front desk guy was very rude. We came down because the room above us was very loud at midnight and he said oh well. Earlier in the evening we asked for additional bath towels as there was 2 in our room and 3 people staying and he told me no- because housekeeping had already left. Our room was dirty. Price tags on the floor, coins all over the floor, toothpaste all over the mirror, and the shower had soap scum and mildew all over the tiles. We have stayed here before and it was not this bad- not sure what happened, not I know I won't be back.

    Hotel is old and in need of refurb. Pool was broken. Restaurant super slow. Rooms have weird smell. If it wasn’t for the staff at front desk (Josh), I think I would have left. He was incredible a helping us when problems rose.

    Worker at the front was very unprofessional, also during check in she had advised me to let her know if the room was dirty which was also very concerning for me and my family then when we got to the room the bath tub smelled like urine and there who no shower towels so I had to go down and get them which bring me to another point there was not a working phone to call downstairs I thought that was odd my friends stayed at the holiday in also across the hall and also no working phones ! The stool for sitting looked so filthy that we had to cover it with a towel worst experience!

    Not a very good stay, they ran out of clean towels. Towels wouldn’t be ready until 11, check out is 11, and wouldn’t let us leave later. I could understand if it was busy, there were less than 10 cars in the parking lot. Low grade items in room, very cheap shampoo and conditioner. I recently stayed at a holiday inn and was very happy and surprised how nice it was. This was an old raddison and they didn’t bother taking the time to take off old names to put new name on. Cheap hotel. You get what you pay for. Breakfast states that it is free, it’s only free for 2 people and portions are very small. Would not return.

    Not enough washcloths. When I arrived, there wasn’t any washcloths in the room. I did get two from the gentleman at the front desk, but when I called for more the next day, I was told they would bring some to my room along with the towels I requested, and only the towels showed up. The housekeeper in the hallway said she only had one washcloth on her cart. I’m only leaving a review because this is the second time in a row this has happened.
