-Dirty wash cloth hanging on shower curtain rod when we checked in -Food wrapper in bathroom -Staff did not take garbage that we left by door while we were staying there which was 3 nights.

We left early because of the roaches in our room. I went to speak with the staff & I was told that “they don’t have roaches” so I recorded the roaches on & behind the stove; I showed them the footage & they apologized. I asked was I gonna be compensated for leaving early & they said no. I asked if they had another room cleaner than the one I was in & they said no. So we had to pack up & find someone else to go!

The Good: The room was big enough and the bathrooms were moderately clean. Kitchen area was clean and seemed well maintained. Bed was comfortable. The location is close to many restaurants and only about 15 mins from the train station (Metra). Plenty of desk space and comfortable chairs. The Bad: There were condom wrappers and articles of clothing under the bed. The A/C worked good, but was loud kicking on and off. I could also hear music on Friday and Saturday night, all night. Seemed to be coming from the parking lot and other room/s on our floor. You could easily hear the conversations in the next room when you turn the TV off. TV was older and small. Ultimately, I have traveled a lot and been in much worse locations. For the price and convenience, I would stay here again. I doubt I would bring my family though.

I asked to see the room before I purchased and room was outdated, smelled of cigarettes, and the linens were stained with hair all on them. Decided just to leave and book a different hotel. This hotel is run down.

Hotel was dirty. Didn't have an iron. When asked for one, they have me another that didn't work. The door key didn't work. Had to get it programmed 3 times. Saw two roaches. Hallway floors are filthy. However, it's in a nice area.

Everything was going reasonably well until I spotted a cockroach crawling on the sink next to the refrigerator. I felt anxious and uncomfortable throughout my entire four-night five day stay.

Expect to come here and spend zero time in the room but to sleep and shower. The hotel has weird smells and water marked floors in certain areas. The AC in my room didn't work, after talking to the front desk they sent nobody to look at it. One evening I came back to the hotel, got off the elevator for my floor and found a Hispanic man passed out in the middle of the floor. I wouldn't stay again with the abundance of hotels around the same area. The only great thing about this hotel is it's location.

My entire stay was fine, until a few hours before checkout a staff member tried to come into my room. I don’t know what happened nor did I make a big deal about it, but luckily I had the door latch on. Otherwise everything was great.

Bed wasn’t made, dirty sheets balled up on the bed. She gave a new room. Bed made however the bedside table was peppered with stickiness, there was a strange wrapper on the made bed, the floor was clearly not mopped or even swept. I pulled back the blanket and sheet and it was clearly that the sheets had not been changed, just the bed made. There was a wet spot on the blankets as well. I went back to the desk to hopefully get a clean room and no one was there. I waited and looked around for at least 15 minutes before using the phone in the entrance. No one came to answer the phone, mind you it was 2am… I let it ring and could hear it at the desk for 20min. Also the key swipe didn’t work and I was locked out. I left and had to walk to another hotel.

Check in staff was kind and let us check in about a hour early. The first thing we noticed about our room upon entering was a very strong smell of marijuana. Our room was not prepared for extended stay at all. There were absolutely no dishes, silverware, cups, glasses, pots or pans to be able to utilize the kitchen area. This is supposed to be the advantage of staying in hotels like this, to cook your own meals and save on eating out. Our room didn’t even have the microwave, just a dirty shelf where the microwave should have been. The room was also missing a remote to the TV. One of our room keys needed to be re-magnetized multiple times during our two day stay. We decided to leave without staying the second night in this place. While the staff was friendly, I would not stay in this hotel again.

No shampoo, and staff is not even apologetic, just saying they run out of supplies. Towels are crumply and not even fit to use, too small to cover your body. No sponge towels. Will not be staying in this hotel. This should be delisted and gives Extenday Stay franchise a bad name.

I enjoyed my stay, and I was well accommodated. The staff was friendly and professional, and I never encountered any issues during my stay.

First off you're supposed to check in at 3pm. I was not able to check into my room until 4:30pm which made me late for my 5:00 reservation. I messaged hotels.com who accepted that the hotels excuse was that someone else checked out late so I had to check in late. I tried to get hotels.com to somehow compensate me for my late check in because if I requested a late checkout they would try to charge me extra. I received no help with that. Then there were no wash towels at all. I was told they were running low at 4:30 p.m! I did not received wash towels until possibly 11:30 p.m. When I finally did get to my room housekeeping must have swept the room but swept everything right outside the door because there was dirt, dust, and everything right outside my room door. There was also a roach crawling in the bathroom floor which I saw the next morning as I'm doing my business on the toilet. I even took a picture of it if this allows me to post that. It was a horrible stay and experience. How am I compensated? Nothing at all.

It was close to everything The rooms weren’t properly cleaned. It had a bad odor and food was still in the refrigerator. They also have roaches. Which is why we didn’t stay and had to find another hotel.

The rooms are filthy. The hallways on each floor have a nasty different smell. The only good thing about this place is that the staff is friendly and helpful and it’s close to Woodfield Mall.

Room smelled slightly of tobacco, which doesn't bother me. I couldn't quite get a hot shower, and the shower controls were unintuitive.

For the most part, the room and hotel served their function as a place to sleep for the duration of our trip. There were some less-than-ideal spots about the experience, mainly the state of the fridge/freezer (dirty), the fan in the bathroom being extremely loud, and the main issue was that the door to the room didn't fully close without having to really work at it. From the inside it seemed the only way to close the door was to use the deadbolt as a lever of sorts and this could pry the door into position to be able to be latched, from the outside it just required a LOT of pulling, almost to the point I was afraid the handle would break off the door.

Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were spacious. For the amount of people there during my stay, it was really quiet. Front desk staff were all very friendly. My only complaint is that the microwave was taken out of my room and never replaced. I was told several times someone would bring one but they never did. I also had to supply my own dishes, pots and pans and utensils. I was told at check-in that everything was “scarce”. Not a huge inconvenience and something I dealt with.

The guy working the front desk was soo nice! But then we got into our room - the kitchen area very dirty, bathroom floor had hair balls, the bed on the right side was soo caved down in only the middle as if 10 thousand bricks sat there for days.

The location is great. The room is big but neglected and not clean. One needs to know that this is long term stay so other rooms are occupied by long term that use that as there rented house. Loud/ visitors/ music etc.

Very good and friendly staffs. Good place to live when you don't have a car, you can walk, as you have many restaurants, super markets, clothings and a Mall close to this stay.

Our kitchenette had nothing stocked in it. We had to go to the desk to request items. We also had to go get a TV remote. The continental breakfast included individually wrapped small blueberry muffins, granola bars and packets of oatmeal. Not really anything to choose from. Our “queen” beds also felt more like full size and was a tight squeeze for 2 adults to sleep.

The staff is very courteous. We didn't have any body or face towels in our room and the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed because the anchors in the rod were coming apart from the wall, causing the rod to droop and the curtain to fall from both sides to the middle. Still, it was quiet at night & the heat & appliances worked. I'd go back the next time I needed somewhere budget-friendly to stay for a while.

I book this property often for my guests from my church where I am the pastor, and the staff has consistently made extra efforts to accommodate their needs, plus the price is affordable.

I stayed here for three days, and it was a terrible experience. The toilet flush wasn’t working properly, and it got clogged on the second day. When I reported it to the front desk, they just handed me a plunger. There were always older people sitting near the front desk, constantly trying to engage with everyone, which felt uncomfortable. I also requested room service for the second day, but no one ever showed up. On top of that, the room smelled strongly of weed. There were several other issues as well, but I don’t even want to mention them. I’ve never felt the need to complain about a hotel before, but this stay was truly disappointing.

I know the hotel can’t control people but someone was definitely smoking in a room near or above us. The bathroom wreaked of cigarette smoke. The room had a strange odor. The floor needed sweeping, it wasn’t bad but I could see a some debris that was missed.The staff was good& everything else clean.

The positive was the staff is very nice and helpful. There were several negatives. The room did not have a microwave and it took them close to 14-16 hours to have one provided. The room itself was dirty and had a bug investation. I haven't had an issue staying at this location with either issue until this last visit. I'm very disapointed.

Hotel is very conveniently located and the hotel staff was trying to be helpful. However, the hotel condition is way below industry standard. First room had thick cigarette smell even though the room was supposed to be a "Non-smoking" room, second room had odor smell that the staff said was originated from the room carpet. A big bug was found on the room table. No shampoos or conditioners were provided in the room. The customer was asked to buy those things from the vending machine for themselves.

The floors were sticky and there were very very loud people above us that stomped across the floor from 7pm to 8am when we left. I tried to call down to the front desk to complain but no one would answer the phone. We got no sleep.

The bead was very creaky. The kitchen had ZERO equipment. No micro wave, not plates, utensils, glasses, pots, pans. In other words, it was useless. There was no armchair in the room even so the picture online shwoed that.

First the room i booked said it was furnished with a king bed and full size sofa bed. There was no sofa bed. The bed had crumbs and hair in it. Bathroom sink had hair and look to be crumbs in it,so did the bathtub

Inside it's dated and there is a distinct odor of cigarette smoke, even though the hotel is designated Non-Smoking. The carpets have a stale odor as well. The Kitchen is ok, with cabinet space, sink, microwave, full Refrigerator and hot plates for a stove, but is stocked with nothing. You have to go back to the front desk and request what you need. You only get what they have on hand. The bed linen looked like it had never been changed and there were large nasty blood stains in the sheets. My wife went berserk. The pull-out Sofa bed did not have a mattress on it, so another trip to the front desk was required. It took some time searching but a mattress was found. The units common areas was quite dusty. At the front entrance is a full sized trash container. By the end of our 2nd day it was completely full. It went unattended to until our final day and was then finally emptied. During that time trash was blown around from the overfilled container all over the place and began to look unsightly. A weather mat at the front door was blown into the hedges and stayed there for several days. Lastly, neighbors in our hallway were loud and distracting. The morning breakfast was less than desirable & needs a lot of improving. The hotel and stay was highly disappointing.

The place was not clean at all. From the point of entry and check in you could see trash debris everywhere. It looks like it had not been vacuumed in a week. when i got to second floor elevator door opened there was a very foul smell. Proceeded to my looked down there was a open bag of soiled baby pampers and when i opened the room door 210 the bed was not made and no pillow cases on the pillows and the next day i was woke by barking dogs on every floor. Overall a very very bad stay.checked out early and went home.would have been better off renting a tent to stay in .the place should be CONDEMNED IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Checkin went well. Came back down to grab my stuff from my car 10 minutes after checkin. The front desk staff was screaming and holding a knife while swearing at a guest over the counter. I walked outside the back door. Within 5 minutes I wasn’t allowed back in the hotel for almost an hour because of the police. Then someone puked in the lobby and in the elevator and three hours later it still wasn’t cleaned up.

Booked 2 twin room got 1 king bed room. Had my 2 kids with me so it was a terrible stay. Breakfast is a joke. Coffee is terrible. Kitchen Cabinets won't close. Lights wont turn on.

We checked in around 3 AM and asked for late checkout. We were told late checkout was 2 PM so we paid for the extra time and went to our room. We put the do not disturb sign on the door and went to sleep. 11 AM is normal checkout. At 11:05 AM the front desk guy was banging at our door telling us we need to get out. Totally disrupting our sleep. I wouldn’t stay at this location again

Discount property that could do more just to keep things in working condition

The first room we were given was filthy. The bathroom light didn't work, the microwave was dirty the refrigerator was dingy and old the floor had bug shells in the corners and one of the beds was wobbly that the mattress with base came completely up from the floor when you just sat on the edge. We asked to move to another room and although the lady at the front desk was very pleasant she didn't know what condition the room was in. When she moved us the second room was a little better but when we saw the curtains with tiny holes in them it looked as if they have a serious problem. The bed covers were thin with only one sheet and only two pillows for two queen beds. And the drawers had roach shells in them not clean at all. The breakfast to go was a muffin and coffee but no choices. The location in Schaumburg right next to Woodfield mall come on this could have been a great place to stay but unfortunately the staff could careless. My recommendation is to stay somewhere else!!!!!!!😲

Commode was not cleaned. Microwave was missing. Two requests were not successful in obtaining one. Refrigerator was noisy when it cycled on and the doors did not open in the correct direction for the kitchen area.

The tv wasn’t working the refrigerator wasn’t getting cold at all and it was nets flying around everywhere in the bathroom from the sewer and plus they gave us a handicapped room. The linen on the bed was dirty and the carpet was nasty as well next time I will be going to their other location

It needs money spent on updating. Shower curtain rod failing off the wall. Hole is developing in the tub. Hand rail in tub missing.
