I never ever write reviews however this had to be mentioned. I was unpacking our bags after just arriving & my 18 month old was just walking around and I look over to check on her and she has a huge ROACH in her HAND. My older son smacked it out of her fist causing it to fling to the floor, and we have no idea if it was dead or alive when she picked it up. I scooped her up and we all went down to complain and front desk was a little put off with our story but not really that apologetic, asked us to go up to the room and bring everything down (4 bags & a pack and play, we were on 4th floor) which we dragged down just for us to get handed a new room key, and drag everything BACK up the elevators. Once getting into our new room my son immediately went to shower and comes to tell me how much hair is in the bathtub & shows me the stains all over the shower curtain. We have stay at countless wingate/wyndham hotels in orlando, fl for years now (since covid) and have never experienced anything like this before. I was very surprised so little was said/done to make up for this disgusting encounter. Only positives I will say is upon arrival the lady checking me in was super friendly, gave me milk for my baby, breakfast was as good as it usually is at wingate/wyndhams, and the location was right next to 95 making it easy to get back on the road,

The only thing I can think to note as a possible negative is that the lighting in the room is very yellow. The bathroom is bright white however.

This is a nice property for the price. The breakfast is basic, with very few options. However, the staff was pleasant, the beds were comfortable, and above all, the rooms were clean. I will definitely stay here again.

The night shift (12a-7a) receptionist doesn't get paid nearly enough for what she did for us! She was the best part of our hotel experience. We also loved the breakfast. We were unlucky with the night we chose to stay, and that has nothing to do with the hotel itself. The experience we had is what made this a bad stay. We stayed under a room that kids were left unattended in for hours 10:45p-1230a. The kids kept running around and wrestling around on the floor, so we were unable to sleep after driving 12 hours. I had complained to the receptionist that worked until 11 (the one before the amazing one), and she did nothing. She said she couldn't leave the desk to check it out nor did she call in the room to tell them to quiet down. I went down an hour later to complain again because the noise was getting worse, and the amazing receptionist called into the room and went up to check when nobody answered. Police ended up being called, and the parents finally came back and were asked to leave. Of course, they didn't leave quietly and caused a scene that woke up the whole floor. She handled it the best she could as there were no open rooms with 2 beds we could move to. I am also not usually one to complain, but after driving 12 hours...we were exhausted and paid to sleep in a hotel where people (in my opinion) should be respectful.

the room was somewhat cleaned, the bathroom had some mold in the shower, i found hairs in the tub. bed sheets did not fit very well, i had to keep putting it back on the bad. the tile floor was missing grout, the water pressure in the shower was a joke. i will not be returning to this hotel again

My only gripe is that the bathroom, while very clean, needed some repairs to the tile floor and bathtub. Everything functioned but it could be ether repaired or updated.

I usually prefer the old staff. A new associate told my 12 year old granddaughter to leave my service dog outside because the hotel is not pet friendly. What she should have did was spoke with an adult and verified rather it was a service animal. That was very unprofessional. I have been using this hotel for a few years and because of the unprofessional behavior of the new clerk it will be loosing pour business for a while at least until they get rid of that unprofessional female that is new.

Conveniently located next to the airport, the main highway, gas station, clothing stores and restaurants. The front desk staff was very helpful. The double queen bed room was spacious and comfortable. It was an ease to get in and out.

Room was quite neat, good as shown in the pics. Room was well cleaned, bed and pillow covers were arranged very well. it was so soft and nice to sleep in. Room had 4 mirrors, 2 queen beds, a table and chair, a closet with iron & stand with few hangers, refrigerator, microwave and few accessories. This really helped our little ones food to heat / save. The lake and golf ground view was so nice to see in the morning times. Water in bathroom shower comes so slow, in a way avoiding excess water wastage and leak. So need to get adjusted and planned accordingly for the time taking to complete bath activities. Breakfast was very nice with quite decent options for our two day stay. First day Sat was with Smashed egg, bagel, waffle, cereals, fruits and muffins. Second day Sun was with potatoes fry, bread, waffles, cereals, fruits, muffins. The ground staff was helpful to change the trash covers upon requesting to change after day1. AC remote was missing, it required to adjust manually. Breakfast food options can be improved and added to a variety and can be listed in advance what is available on the next day so that if we feel we dont have the required options, we can plan accordingly to step out early. Having food options for people who are VEG and NON-VEG will add an advantage card for both type of customers. In bathroom - mats at the sink, commode, tub can be arranged in fresh - there's often some water that can spill from the shower curtains, it was quite bit slippery and had to make use of towels to not fall. Within the tub, it was bit slippery. The non slippery mat might needs to be verified. There was no vent in the bath room leaving bit hot post shower and leaving the door open. Have a window to OPEN/CLOSE will allow to let fresh air IN sometimes when required. Although we reached 30 mins early to 3.00 pm ET, we had to wait almost till 3.30 ET to get our rooms ready available and post couple of follow ups. It would be nice to have the reserved rooms ready and available atleast an hour before to the reservation time so that it would help early check ins and plan for the remainder of the day to tour accordingly.

Hotel was okay. Room was missing some furniture, big open area where a sofa or loveseat would have gone. Cleanliness, varying hairs on bathroom floor and floor edges not clean. So staff were very helpful, others were sleeping on lobby furniture in the AM - maybe waiting for official start to shift? Breakfast was decent and filled when we arrived. We didn't use any other amenities, just stayed the night for sleep and breakfast then back on road.

Second time at the facility. Location is ideal being off I95 and plenty of places to din. There were ants in the bed. First we thought they were brought in by the luggage couch but we woke to being bit during the night. We took digital photos and brought up to management who were not concerned. They said they would have the cleaning crew look into it. This treatment turned us off staying at the hotel again.

The hotel was just what we needed for our trip. The room was very spacious, clean, and quiet. The staff was friendly. We were, however, surprised that a hotel of that size and quality apparently only has one luggage cart. Because we were traveling with two small children, we had a fairly large amount of luggage. When we came in, we had to wait while one of the staff went to find the cart. As we were leaving , one of the staff said he would bring it to us, but he never did.

Bed were super comfortable!Front desk was super nice and helpful. The only issue that we ran into was breakfast. We went down at 8:50 as breakfast stops at 9:30. And the breakfast buffet had been hit hard where there was nothing left except for grits and a couple of bruised bananas. The breakfast attendant comes back in at 9:10 from being outside and stated she wasn't putting no more food out bc breakfast ends soon. She sits down in the lobby and was on her phone until 9:30 when it was time to clean up.. There were a lot of guest left with no options for breakfast..

What hotel in 2026 doesn’t have at least one USB charging port? There is not a single place in the entire hotel to charge one’s phone. They could at least have a few portable chargers to loan out. I don’t have pictures because my phone died. For breakfast, the eggs were dry, bacon under cooked, and the French toast over cooked. The bathroom had bleach stains on the wall and some of the wallpaper was pealing. The toilet clapper didn’t always seat, so the water would continuously run. If you left the bathroom light on, because there was no night light, the loud fan would also run. The clock, that had the incorrect time, went off on its own when we were trying to sleep Outside smelled bad due to the nearby swamp. Attention to little details can make a difference.

I wasn't happy with the TV, this is 2026 and this room didn't have a smart TV. Also, the chair in the room (at the table) was very stained. I put a towel over the chair when I was at the table using my laptop.

Shower Head and bathtub faucet are dated and move around as though they aren't anchored to the tub enclosure....shower head works fine but bathtub faucet barely let's water out to fill the tub. Also new caulking is definately needed in the bathroom. Wasn't worth the money I paid to stay there, prolly won't again. ROOM 127

I needed to check out two hours late and was charged 50 dollars for that. I thought that was an unreasonable amount. I will never stay at one of these hotels again. The staff was very nice.

Breakfast was adequate, well organized, and well maintained with food and serving products, TV had terrible color, and needs instructions on how to select desired channel. Putting in channel number only tuned to non-existent analog channel; needed “-1” to channel number you get digital channel.

This was my first time staying at a Wingate. It was for one night and the reviews were good. I am not sure where those people stayed but the property had water damage, the bathtubs had rust stains and some other stains. I would not put my feet in it. I wish I could upload a picture. The hallway and rooms had an odd smell. A bug ran across the bed. I requested to switch rooms but they were fully booked and would not refund my payment because the manager wasn't there until Monday. They ended up switching my room which i know means they gave me someone else's. the new room also had rust stains. I wasn't expecting the ritz but I would expect decent bathrooms.

The photo of the hotel was wrong and of another Hotel in another area. This one is outdated and old. The hallways smelled like weed and our room smelled like a musty closet. Our refrigerator was missing the knob and non-functionable until staff came and swapped it out ….the pool was closed due to a health board violation, we were told. The breakfast was undersized for even the 20 people present with missing eggs and GREY sausages..The ice machine was broken and unplugged on floor 2 and lobby one had no ice and was told it takes 30 minutes to make a cup worth.This was a 3star at most for just the beds comfort ..Not worth the 169$

For the most part, the staff was friendly. They had the air on in our room upon arrival. The breakfast was awesome. The floor in our bathroom and in front of our bathroom was very weak. The bed was comfortable. I feel that it was being negligent no one told me on the phone call that the pool was not in service yet. The rates should be cheaper until the pool is open.

The breakfast was expected. We did not use the pool. The "Beware the Alligators" sign was unexpected but reminded us that wecwere in Georgia.

Filthy carpet in the first room we were given and there was a bug on the curtain! We switched rooms and the second one was okay. In the morning we were hoping to have eggs and coffee but there were no eggs and worst of all at 6:30 a.m. there was no regular coffee and no attempt to replenish it. We drove to DD for a cup of coffee and continued our journey. We will NEVER stay here again.

When I checked in staff was very welcoming. I had just driven 6 hours but was tired and back was sore. The bed and bedding was the most comfortable I’ve felt in a long time. Had a great sleep. I arrived for breakfast as it ended and some things were empty, however as another couple and I sat down at separate tables the breakfast staff came out with some fresh cooked eggs and sausages caring for us as late arrivals. I thought that was very considerate. Would definitely visit Wyndham properties again!

My wife and I went to Savannah for St. Patrick's Day weekend. The hotel was ok, but the room was very bad: the bathroom floor felt like it was going to fall in, and the tile in the bathroom was coming up. We could hear the people upstairs at night; it was very noisy. We would not stay here again.

This is a great, budget friendly hotel. The rooms could definitely use some updating, but our king suite was clean and very spacious. Staff was helpful & courteous. The breakfast provided was excellent, lots of options and ample seating. All in all, we were happy with our stay and would visit again.

Our stay was very enjoyable. We really liked the comfort of their queen size bed. It was great!

Clean, comfy, price was right! Weird we could hear kids running above us pretty loudly but it didn’t last long (at 11pm) so it wasn’t a big deal. Lots of eateries to choose from locally.

Room was spotless, beds were comfortable but the boiled eggs for breakfast were so hard boiled, I needed orange juice to wash it down. How about a soft boiled egg in the futures?

All was very good. The only negative was that the TV system is somewhat user unfriendly.

The bathroom floor was sticky and smelled of vomit, and the room smelled like someone had been throwing up the night before. The room wasn’t sanitized properly. We changed rooms, but my child ended up getting the flu anyway.

The hotel itself and the room was fine. A couple of things that could be better was the analog TV that should be updated, the telephone in the room that didn’t work, and the breakfast wasn’t the best.

I got room and went to sleep 930 pm on 3rd floor. They gave room right above me to an elephant who entered at 20 pm and stomped none stop across ceiling for the next 2 hrs. Complained to staff and fell on deaf ears. Breakfast was horrible no plates and greedy construction workers took all the pastry etc.

yes, the staff was amazing. the room was good. however, my wife was not happy about having to eat her cereal with a fork, due to no spoons available. I see no excuse with this matter. even just to go down the street and purchase this. will not be back. I found being lazy and not putting effort in spoons, what else. Merry Christmas!

Hotel was in need of some TLC. Room was clean, bed comfortable, staff pleasant but lots of cosmetic issues. Marks all over bathroom door, looked like lots of patchwork calking around tub, dings on things here and there. Just needed some paint and a little TLC. No plastic spoons were available at breakfast for cereal and grits. There’s a grocery store 5 minutes away where someone could have run to and picked some up. Much easier to eat grits and cereal with a spoon, not a fork.

Front desk was very friendly. Beds were comfortable. But unfortunately, the room left a LOT to be desired. It was very musty and damp smelling. Found a cheap Glade room freshener on the floor in the corner. It was as clean as it could get I guess. Light switches were cracked, the mirror was stained and the top of the desk was sagging. The air conditioner was very loud and woke me up several times throughout the night and there were random loud clicks coming from the walls. I won’t be back to this hotel.

The tub in my room (206) was disgusting. the faucet in the tub wasn’t just dripping, it was a steady stream. The tub was discolored as were the tiles. The rug between the beds was wet. The towels and bedding seemed clean. The staff was very nice and the breakfast area was clean and spacious. I have pictures if you want them!!

Desk agent was helpful and friendly, room was clean and in good repair, the bed was comfortable and the pillows good. The room was very spacious (we had a King standard) and the sitting area was between the bed and bathroom so it didn’t wake the other party when someone was showering. But for me, the very best part was that outside the front entrance (and incidentally visible from our window) was several trees full of white Ibis and snowy egrets. The desk agent said that they sleep there every night. When we woke, we realized that there was quite a bit of marshland around the hotel so the birds were safe up in those trees from ALLIGATORS! If you are not from the south, you might be surprised to find “beware of alligator” signs. But the cattails are so grown up near the parking lot that an alligator is probably unlikely. But a tour guide on our trip told us that alligators are typically afraid of humans and will just run away from you. But if they don’t, just run in a zig zag pattern as they can only run straight!

Convenient by 1-95 and to restaurants and outlet mall. Clean with microwave and refrigerator. Loved the large containers in shower with body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Would stay here if I was in the area. Good value.

Just stayed overnight on our way back to Florida. It was very convenient. Right off of 95 and within walking distance to Sam sneads tavern for dinner. Breakfast was great. Lots of variety. Friendly staff also.

The rooms could use renovations. Our room had a distinct musky and moldy smell. We only stayed one night so it was adequate for our short visit. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient.

Lots of shadiness going on - they are asking $200 check in hold and charging very exorbitant fee for bar and the no smoking policy is find but creating image issues as people are lining up outside to smoke. I was hounded all day by texts by a guest staying there who appeared to be homeless

I picked this hotel due to convenient location to I-95. There are a bunch of hotels together so many options. Check in was easy and the staff friendly. The noise level from adjoining rooms was pretty loud. The room above was someone simply walking around but it sounded as though the floor was going to give way. The rooms around ours were also pretty loud when they closed doors. It wasn't people noise (talking, laughing, etc.), it was normal hotel noise that was too loud due to what I'm guessing is thin walls and poor insulation. I would pick a different hotel in this area next time as there are a lot of options.

The lobby and eating area are very clean; however, my room smelled musty and moldy. The toilet shifts because it's missing caulking around the bottom. There is missing grout in front of the shower. The shower had stains on the wall. The only reason I did not leave is because we had driven 9 hours and just wanted to sleep.

This was a really nice experience and it seems like a newer Wingate. Plenty of parking. It's out of the way and not too far from where I had to go for business. The staff was very nice and patient and my room was very clean.

Kind of disappointing that the pool wasn’t open but everything else seemed ok,was at breakfast at 8:45 and there wasn’t any more gravy for the biscuits, that was kinda disappointing too. Staff at breakfast and front desk were exceptionally friendly and attentive.

It was really a very nice stay, so accessible to the entrance and exit. Very nice quiet and clean, even though we were near the airport that was not a problem, I will definitely go back if we are visiting the area again.

I was on a trip with my boyfriend and we needed a quick hotel to stay at and this one was definitely nice and clean, the check-in was fast, and the room was very comfortable.

I don't think the dirty bottom is something the hotel staff can clean. Management needs to get professional pool service help.

Got to room and carpet was wet and water inside of windows as they obviously were leaking. Rooom and hall also had an odor of soured wet material. I asked for another room and was told that it may be difficult as a lot of them leaked. “The second floor had almost every window on storm side leak. The manager got out lot of towels and had them ready for guests” and “the owner knows it as he had event that he rented lot of his family rooms and there was bad storm then too, and all had problems”. Met other guests who had same problems. One uses the hotel frequently and says he just got used to it. That level of deferred maintenance boggles my mind. I would think mold could be possibility. Breakfast area clean but service was poor. Peak hours and coffee not available and food would run out for long period of time. Boiled eggs are hard to mess up but they were disgusting. We threw ours out and noticed that several other guests had too. We stayed at same hotel a year or so ago and was fine. Good value and kept clean, but it was dry that week. Without the maintenance I would not consider returning.

Great stay! Nice breakfast, decent outside pool, and spacious clean room. The gym was decent, but a lot of the machines did not work and never got fixed. This hotel was in the perfect area to restaurants and shopping. About 20 minutes to downtown Savannah. Overall, we enjoyed this hotel.

Two main issues. None of the room televisions offer local or national networks. If you want news you are SOL. Also, very noisy. Could hear people walkin in rooms above me and talking on either side.

The room we stayed had a stale and a rancid smell coming from the carpets which was unbearable. Also the walls, from what we thought, had some mold looking specs. Other than this the staff was helpful and the area surrounding the hotel was nice.

There were roaches in the bathroom which was gross. The staff at check out was less than pleasant and had a very uncaring attitude when told about the room.
