    The carpet in our room was not clean. It had a beer cap on the floor. There were small bits of paper at the door and beside the bed, the bathroom floor did not appear to be clean. We kept our socks on and walked on a mat. However, the biggest disappointment was your restaurant on the second floor, where we had lunch. The staff were unfriendly. The service was slow and no one enjoyed their meal. My wife's meal was cold, myself and one other person had the same dish and it was greasy and barely hot. The hostess was unfriendly and un accommodating. There were only two tables in the restaurant that had anyone sitting at them. We requested the table in front of the window. There was four of us, and she refused, saying that it was not set up after we were seated at another table, less than 10 minutes later, a couple came in and they seated them at the very table that we had requested. I think it's very poor service not to accommodate your customers when it is within reason.

    The convenience of being on the edge of downtown Savannah. The views of the river. The convention center in walking distance. Low quality rooms. Cheap paint. Old style furniture. Short toilet. Uncomfortable pillows. The windows are not tinted, so the person next to you can see through your room.

    First with everything going on this past weekend we had trouble finding a place to park. They charge $45 a day to park. Drinks are expensive. When we went online to book a dinner reservation at their restaurant it said nothing was available. We decided to go up and see if they could squeeze us in. There were only 2 tables occupied. For 2 of us to have dinner cost $191 dollars not including tip. I would have rather stayed in town.

    Location Asked for a handicapped accessible room. Husband is paralyzed. Fit into the recliner I’m okay but the hoyer lift we brought doesn’t fit under the bed due to the base. Also out accessible shower did not have a roll in shower. My husband had to sleep in his wheelchair! Our service dog was constantly being barked at by uncontrollable pet dogs. All this for $500 for one night. Would never go again!

    This is a beautiful hotel. The room was so comfortable and the bedding was plush. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location and we were able to use the ferry to cross the river into downtown Savannah.

    Waking up to the shipping boats was pretty cool. The beds were terrible. Also the staff did not have it together. They gave us the wrong key to the room. It was late we had two kids it took about an hour and half just to check in. Then when we finally got to the room the key would not open the door.

    We were looking forward to golfing and hanging out at the pool…something you can’t get at any other Savannah hotel, so we booked a flight home and are hoping that Expedia now does the honorable thing and reimburse us for the change fees on the flight, the Uber to the hotel, and of course the night at the Westin. So note to other Expedia users, you may want to independently verify a hotels average occupancy rate on any given stay you make with Expedia and their booking rate for the period of your stay. Expedia can’t provide any protection, and they certainly were not proactive at making the situation better. Hopefully, they will come through on the back side to preserve our relationship. We have been Gold members for years…

Their professionalism and hospitality did not go unnoticed and were greatly appreciated. However, despite these positive interactions, an incident involving a member of your loss prevention team significantly overshadowed our experience. My family and I traveled from Virginia to Savannah to celebrate my cousin’s senior prom. We reserved accommodations, including a hospitality suite for prom preparations, and spent a substantial amount of money at your property. Given the nature of our stay, we were taking photos in the lobby area near the staircase to the left of the front desk—similar to what we had observed other guests doing throughout the day, including wedding parties and individuals taking photos with luxury vehicles outside the main entrance. While my cousin was taking her prom photos, a man who did not initially identify himself abruptly stepped in front of her and demanded that we stop taking photos and leave the area. His tone was rude, dismissive, and confrontational. When we attempted to understand the reasoning behind his request, he failed to provide any clear explanation or identify himself, and he physically positioned himself in a way that blocked our movement until we dispersed. This interaction was not only unprofessional, but also deeply degrading and upsetting.

    Wonderful stay but v crowded Booking.com offered me a balcony room if i paid more but the Westin could not see this upgrade so we did not get a balcony room. Booking.com is very hard to reach so lost money but the hotel was great for us.

    We have been coming to The Westin for 4 years during the same week and every year the service seems to get worse. There was a cheer competition ( I was a part of ) and two weddings. I can’t understand why the hotel wasn’t fully staffed for the amount of people that were staying and visiting the hotel. The food and elevator wait time were unbelievable! You all HAVE TO DO BETTER.

    Honestly, some good features, but our overall reflection is that it was not worth the money spent. We traveled with two little kids, so here were a few considerations: the two full beds room does not allow for a roll away. We immediately upgraded to a king and got a rollaway and had one kid sleep on couch. The room we upgraded to had fresh dark stains in the carpet and food that was ground in carpet. For dining, you should know before you go: limited breakfast options for grab/go or healthy grab/go options. Fitness facility is off-site. The pool dining option was not open in early April when we traveled. Our kids enjoyed the smores, staff was friendly.

    The property and the staff are both wonderful! I liked the firepit and the hot tub along the river - great way to end the day. It was nice to be able to retreat to the property after an evening in Savannah. I felt it was much quieter and more relaxing. Overall would go there again.

    Enjoyed staying at this hotel. The ferry takes you across to the other side where a lot of the activity is going on. It runs every 15 minutes and takes about 5 to get across. You also have 2 restaurants to eat at if you decide to stay around the hotel. The pool is also lovely and has a guy playing music/singing. I would stay again.

    Bed was comfortable. Jacuzzi was nice. Staff wasn’t friendly. Front desk never advised of activities and shuttle information. Room wasn’t stocked with coffee cups and only had one bag of tea. Floor was dirty. Found trash by couch and a one inch piece of metal near bed. Offered points for stay in email if signed up, but never given them. Parking was listed as $22 per night, but ended up being $30. Booking listed total as $538.70 and Westin sent a receipt for $608.60. Checked my credit card and there is a pending transaction of $797.00. No incidents were purchased. I sent an email to Booking.com and Westin regarding the price discrepancies. Haven’t been contacted by either company yet.

    I love the proximity to the convention center. I loved the food I love how upscale this hotel is I love the smell of all Westins The food service was the worst I've ever experienced. 3 hour lunch and dinner because at every meal they constantly forgot everything including one of our friends family's meals, drinks, they accidentally dropped a cooked meal that we waited over an hour for then to be told they couldn't remake it or anything requiring the kitchen bc they closed it down. We had to ask MULTIPLE times for a water, Shirley Temple, coffee, where's the meal? Always forgot something. It was horrible! Food was good tho but not worth the incredible delay & hassle

    My stay here at Westin during Christmas was really wonderful. The staff were very accommodating from front desk to the restaurant. I could see the beautiful sunrise every morning. The steak & eggs at breakfast is so good and the hot choco at the lobby. I also tried the sauna and steam room at the Club, so relaxing.     My stay here at Westin during Christmas was really wonderful. The staff were very accommodating from front desk to the restaurant. Parking was 35.00 SELF PARK or 45.00 for valet. Its the only hotel on that side of the river. Definitely a rip off. Outside of that my stay was excellent.

    We got a room here because we knew we could take the ferry across the river to do a lot of things. When you walk in the lobby it’s beautiful but as soon as you get off the elevator ( we were on the 6th floor) I noticed black mold all around on the wall paper. I’m 6’1 and my significant other is 6’7 so we notice things others don’t see. When we got in the room we were both disappointed because it was so small and we expected a great view of the golf course but all we really got was a small section of it along with a parking lot. There was also mold around that room too. I am highly allergic and I had a really hard time breathing in the room so we stayed away as much as possible. Just very disappointed in Westin. Wow!

    We were asked 4 times by pool staff if we were hotel residents, even after verification of our room, some lady name Jenn was extremely rude and kept asking us multiple times. The onsite Restaurant closes at 3pm, and they refused to feed us when we came in at 2:59, technically they are still open. I was charged an extra $25 for extra adult, there was no extra adult in the room beside my, my wife and kid, I called the hotel for a resolution but haven’t heard yet, so I’ll be calling Amex next. I did complain and got 10,000 points, but I’m still bitter and in love Westin, now, my wife hates it. Won’t be at the Westin for a while.

    We has a great time. The pool was beautiful and the poolside bar was even better. Rooms were cleaned and very easily located for easy access to the convention center. The kids loved riding the ferry over to River St. service was excellent upon checking in. The only complaint I have is the restaurant on the 2nd floor. Poor service there and super slow. We were usually in a hurry due to dance.

    Hotel was elegant and peaceful. It was a busy weekend full of families, conferences and weddings but it never felt crowded. Go to the Midnight Sun bar. Bobby will hook you up when you're not sure what you're in the mood for. The pool faces the river sonyou always have a view. They have plenty of chairs and cabanas depeniding on your needs. The hotel is steps away from the water taxi that takes you to River St where you can shop, eat and drink to your hearts content. Highly recommend.

    The Hot-tub had a grate sticking from underwater that my wife tripped on not to mention rocks were falling out from the stone work lining the area into the water very dangerous. There were also no trash liners in the rubbish cans in the room.

    Patrice was our waitress for breakfast, she was extremely friendly and provided top notch service. She went out of her way to make conversation with other guests around us. We need more Patrice’s in this world. Thank you Patrice for making our morning with your kind words and beautiful smile.

    I felt like it was just overpriced for the amenities received. It’s an older hotel and the rooms need renovating. I’m almost certain there may have even been mold in my air ducts. I would wake up with my sinuses congested, and it seemed to get worse through my stay. The hotel staff were nice but overall the hotel just needs to be updated and cleaned, including the roads into the property, which had overgrown weeds, loose gravel and broken concrete throughout.

    Unfortunately I never made it to the actual property. After getting stranded with car issues I ended up running late. By the time I was able to contact them (the front desk number is not easy to find) they told me not only could I no longer check in (I had already paid in full for four nights) but that they also would not give me a refund for the future nights. So essentially charging two guests for the same room. Fortunately after a lot of calls expedia was able to negotiate a refund on 3 out of 4 nights. Definitely read the fine print if booking with this property, I would never have tbought a hotel could legally charge two guests for the same room.

    We asked for a room change which was honored immediately. Our original room was located next to the elevator shaft. Every time the elevator was used, it made a loud swooshing noise. It too an hour and a half to get served our dinner at the hotel restaurant; we were comped our dinner because of this. Other than these 2 problems, we loved our room, staff and service, the ferry and grounds.

    Refused refund of accidental trip booked. Called within 5 minutes of booking. Blamed it on 3rd party. We have booked this property many times and were completely caught off guard by their refusal to issue $1000 refund for 2 nights.

    Very average hotel that is way overpriced. Service is spotty. Room like in a 3 star hotel, noisy elevator which heard all. Igby, poor soundproofing, cheap furniture and beds/bedding, cheap everything. Bathroom has a 80’s look and feel, . I guess the main attraction is the golf course.

    Loved the water taxi taking you to River Street. We never had to move our car. It runs every 20 minutes. All of the people working in the hotel were so helpful and so pleasant. Starbucks in the hotel was definitely a plus. Highly recommend!

    I had a great view of the golf resort! The room was exceptionally clean and stocked with common necessities including lavender essential oil (nice bonus). The staff from the front desk to the room service and valet parking were all extremely professional and pleasant! The bed and bedding were plush, the bathroom had a makeup mirror another bonus I loved. My stay here was nothing short of great and I plan to book here again in the near future

    I stayed here because of hot tub , went to hot tub at 6;30am with wife , very disappointed the water was cold. Ask front desk to look into it and let us know when fixed , she said I would have to check back with them she would like notify me. I found the pool tech he fixed the issue and apologized said he did not check tub overnight and heater turned off . I love your location but staff needs huge customer service training.

    Our room would have been better, however upon arrival to our room we noticed very little toiletries, such as hand soap and lotion. There was also a small amount of what looked like mold on the bottom of the ice can lid. Finally my youngest daughter noticed that there was a very inappropriate stain on one of the chairs in front of the window. We expected better quality for the type of hotel this was.

    The hotel is isolated but has most of what you need in restaurant and lounge. Taxi service is awkward. Shuttle to the golf course is great.

    The $33.75 per day Resort Fee was an unexpected charge that we were unaware of and makes the quoted price deceptive and in this state would be illegal. This sours the whole experience but is typical of Marriott's arrogance and disrespect of it's customers.

    At check out, we were charged $120 in fees that were not explained to us. Apparently, front desk was supposed to advise us of the amenities on the property, which did not occur. Our stay could have been better if we knew 1) in advance of the fees 2) the amenities that we could have enjoyed onsite. I did try calling the hotel and explaining this but they had zero accountability for their failed check in process.

    Loved the golf course and spa - it would be nice to see other dining options and a shop for water, necessities, and snacks. Bathrooms are a little small and could use some updating. Location is outstanding and will definitely go back.
