Studio 6 Extended Stay - Savannah, GA

Phenomenal staff, extremely friendly and helpful. Very quick to resolve any issues had, and very knowledgeable. Stay overall was well, room was nice. Walls to the outside are a little thin so you can hear most of whats going on outside your door, but room to room it’s quiet. Convenient area, close to mostly everything and a straight shot downtown.

Close to Dollar General and restaurants.Even had on site laundry. There is nothing wrong with it.

The facility was horrible. The rooms had older, a smell of mildew and smoke. The staff wasn’t polite. I was locked out of my room at 5:30 AM and I call overnight security to come and open my door. He never did come to open my door. We need a staff did come in. It was like 815 and I was able to get into my room to open my door to get in my room to get my stuff. Also it was roach infested, homeless folks all around the facility. It was just it was, it was a horrible stay.

The location is not difficult to find. The first room we were assigned was filthy and smelled terrible. I asked to switch rooms, and the second one—which wasn't very clean either—had a dirty, stained bath towel. Not to mention the smell of marijuana in the hallways and parking lot. We just needed a place to sleep, so we stopped there. Never again.

Over all it was ok. Just sometimes there was no hot water that was my biggest complaint and I felt shower could have been updated no where to put soap or anything

Rooms could have been cleaned better, I'm talking only the bed was made , floors are nasty sinks are nasty, service was awful got a phone call about my check in time around 9:30am said I'd be there by 3 at check in time still had to wait for over an hour for our room to be cleaned, and we still ended up having to down grade afterwards, there was also a single/double murder while our stay here no one was allowed to come in or out !! Overall this is the worst place we have ever stayed and the worst experience we have ever encountered, needles to say never again .!! Not here!! Y'all be careful what you book . ,

HORRIFYING

Booked the room short notice and had the front desk calling me saying I needed to pay ASAP or my booking would’ve cancelled. I get there, Emily was nice. The process to get in the room was smooth. The room was gross. The sort of gross where everything feels wet. Even the new stuff they bring out for you. My towels were filthy. The bed had several types of hairs sitting under the comforter. I have stayed in many of these studio 6 spots before but this is definitely the dirtiest. Please don’t do it.

The place was awful, paint chips in the shower the room reaked of smoke and mildew. The outside appearance was run down.

Found some items in the room that was left by the previous person so apparently the room wasn't cleaned properly. No extra tissue and a half of roll was left on the tissue holder. Asked for an All Free and Clear dryer sheets but they didn't have any

Good spacious room, all amenities available, laundry in the property. Staff very friendly and always attentive.

The room had roaches, the T.V. did not work. The refrigerator sounded like a lawnmower. music was blasting all times of day not allowing me to sleep and the towels provided were dingy almost still dirty looking so i had to buy my owt

Really convenience the laundry service inside the hotel. The kitchenett really good and convenience inside the room.

Our room appeared to have been newly painted and had a new fridge and microwave. We have no complaints whatsoever. We stayed several days. Front desk help was pleasant and helpful. A local church even left a goodie bag at the rooms on Saturday morning. So thoughtful. The area was quiet and close to several places to eat and shop for necessities.

booked the stay through Hotels.com. the pictures were misleading, the rooms were less than desireable. walked in my room , the smell of weed would knock you down, the safety latch on the door looks to be repaired before, mold in the bathroom. i was there a total of 10min and checked out. then, at first, could not get any of my money back. then after three days of back and forth i got a 100.00 back out of a 7 day stay. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE OR HOTELS.COM

First time experiencing the motel room

This place is absolutely nothing like it shows online! I would rather stay in my car. Filthy, unsafe, drug activity. We woke up to water pouring in the door there was such a big gap. Stayed one night and checked out. Only reason we stayed that night was because it was so late, we drove 15 hours and I couldn't get us into an Airbnb until the next day. Do not stay here! Charging over $2000 a month is criminal!

This hotel was a last minute find as I needed housing until I could find a permanent residence. The room was less than spectacular. There were daddy long leg spiders all over the place even after cleaning they still were there and I felt like I killed at least one or two every day. The room wasn't even clean when they offered it to me I had to clean it myself. The linen with suspect with mystery stains and very dingy so I ended up buying my own. The elevator was out of order so I had to load all of my things down the stairs from the third floor. My stay here was less than good and I will definitely never return or recommend this hotel they never even attempted to clean my room during my month's stay.

That being said, this hotel is a dump. It's literally a health hazard. Upon entry to the room, it smelled like mildew. It wasn't totally clean but also wasn't completely nasty, either. In essence, more detail could be spent making sure the floors have all debris swept off of them. There was literally black mold above the shower which was not a shock once you realized running the AC unit caused all kinds of moisture problems (the floor would be wet after running it). Not one piece of art on those drably painted puke green and brown walls to even make you feel remotely better about how bad of a decision you made to stay there. Poorly done "fixes" to the room were apparent everywhere you turned. We're talking crooked shelf in closet, drywall mud that was applied (poorly) and globs left to dry with no sanding at all. Gaps in the cheap "baseboards," etc. If you heard anything from this review, avoid at all costs!

Went to stay with my boyfriend for 4 days. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were stiff. I understand the room is accommodating those who’re handicapped, but with that being said there no possible way to shower without completely soaking the floor. After it rained on the 3rd day we smelled remnants of mildew/mold. The mold wasn’t exposed to the eye, but suspicion was confirmed when another patron had an exchange at the front desk telling them he needed his room changed due to the mold. They went on to tell him they wouldn’t be moving him to a different room as they couldn’t do anything for him but “spray” the mold. There was also an issue with the tv that we called about numerous times because an unwanted menu would show every 10 seconds or so. I didn’t receive proper service until the second to last day of our stay and the problem was not resolved.

Really run down and musty, and no hot water. Office is closed from 10pm until 8am, so you can't check in late or get problems fixed (like no hot water). I wasn't expecting much because it was cheap, but this was even below minimum expectations.

There was a lot of activity in and around the parking lot of people engaging in conversation. For my check in, I had to stand outside and talk through a bulletproof glass window to conduct business and do the transaction which made me very uneasy. No security to be seen. The floors in the room were not very clean, the towels smelled stale and sour. The door had a quarter inch gap all around it and the safety catches or guards were disabled. There was no lamp or light at the bedside. And for a handicap room there was no bench or seat in the shower. The room was supposed to be a no smoking room, but you could definitely smell stale cigarette smoke.

Tv was stuck on demo mode couldn't get menu off screen. Kitchenette sink was leaking. Loose floor tiles grout loose and broken. AC ccasing was broke and rattled. Bathroom door wouldn't shut,scraping floor. Bathroom door handle was rigged on. Walk outside and the smell of Marijuana was absolutely choking. We would have went to another place but there were no other places in our price range with availability on a short notice

This hotel had very many children running around late at night, was noisy, and had many families that lived there long term. It was clean, but overall felt unsafe as a short term visitor. They also over charged me 30$

For the price the motel was okay but when I got there I was told that I had to put $100 deposit.. after I already paid almost $100 for the room Plus $25 for early check in my trip would have been ruined because if I couldn't come up with $100 I would have been turned away now that was foul. And when I asked why I have to put $100 deposit I was told because I was local which really didn't make any sense to me.smh....

There was nothing on the listing about how you can’t do late check ins. I called just in case because we couldn’t find any information. Turns out that the front desk closes at 10:00pm so no late check in. We would have been on the street if we didn’t call ahead. We rearranged everything to be there early. It was a whole ordeal. We had to call Expedia etc… The bad part is that because there was no front desk we couldn’t report disturbances. So this meant no sleep. Place definitely could benefit from cleaning and better curtains.

Well, I arrived and followed the instructions they had left for me and apparently the front desk person “forgot” to leave my key. Security said that happens a lot. Told me that they owned a second hotel and that I would be able to stay there for the night. Not ideal, but I just wanted to rest at that point. Showed up at the second hotel and was informed they were owned by the same people but they could not see my reservation there so I’d have to pay for the night. I paid and the room they gave me was nightmare fuel. Sticky floors and walls, a bad smell, holes in the walls, dirty sheets, and lots of roaches. I slept in my clothes on top of the blankets and left as soon as it was light. I had booked with Expedia and contacted them about the refund. Well the hotel refused to give me a refund for the night. When I called the property about it they got attitude with me and told me that they couldn’t refund me because I booked through Expedia and it was up to them. Well that is crap because they contacted them and it was the hotel that refused the refund because they claimed I didn’t show up. It felt like a scam. Do NOT book here. Also, if this property is anything like their second property— I’m sure it’s filthy. Save yourself a lot of grief.

Quick & easy check in / check out

I booked this property while traveling and never checked in. Turns out their office closes (right I’ve never even heard of such!) and this isn’t revealed until after booking is complete. I paid for 2 nights and never stayed here and Expedia would not refund my money. I messaged the manager and of course he never even responded to my message so I highly advise DO NOT BOOK HERE! DO NOT USE EXPEDIA!!! This is a cheap hotel in the hood. Noisy and Parking lot is constantly filled with police. Unsafe and an entire scam. STAY AWAY! DO NOT BOOK HERE! DO NOT USE EXPEDIA!!!

Staff is friendly. Noise can be irritating and limit sleep. Wi-Fi is a hit or miss if you have to connect for work or school. Daily rates and weekly rates are the same unless they're running a special.

There was a $150 deposit for the room to be refunded after my stay. Also, there was a non-refundable pet deposit. Neither of these was disclosed until at arrived at the motel. I thought Motel 6 had a free pet policy.

Everything was fine per usual. The rooms could use a little updating, but the price is reasonable, and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. We always stay here when we’d like somewhere affordable to stay!

It was the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed at, the towels had stains on them, there was hair in the shower, and finger nails on the bathroom floor. The glass plate was missing from the microwave. The environment was very bad, I didn’t feel safe, and smelled like weed 24/7. I would never ever stay at this place again even if they payed me to.

The pictures posted are not indicative to the actual condition of the room you are assigned. The office staff was great, but the property itself, not so much. This is an extended stay property, with very "rough around the edges" clientele. First night had a couple two doors down having a verbal altercation using explicit language. Just glad our granddaughter had not been with us. This is not recommended for a family to stay.

Awful all around. Pervasive smell of pot and cigarette smoke in and around the room. Nothing worked well. General state of disrepair and poor upkeep. This place needs a complete overhaul.

My stay was not really a stay. The front desk closed at 10. I received the email about that. My train did not get it until early in the morning. I called to confirm that security would have my card in order to access my room. I was assured that that would happen however they did not leave my key with security therefore I had to take another Uber to their partner location and beg for a room there zero out of five stars honestly the only redeeming quality was the front desk, lady at their partner location who scored me a room. I am now three hours past when I should have been able to access my room and get adequate sleep for my drive home

The first room they had us in smelt strong of smoke and had no hot water. We then got moved to another room and had the same issue. The walls are so thin u could hear other people talk and their tvs. The shower handle fell off everytime and would peg us in the feet every time. Overall it was horrible and if i wasnt locked in financially i would have just left. We asked for some kind of compensation for all of the issues and got absolutely nothing. Also there is a extra 100 deposite that is not on the site and they dont say anything about it. Worst stay we have ever had in our lives. We went the whole week with hardly and sleep because of all of it

The front door had a big opening at the bottom? Paint was horrible need to improve of that is done better it would allow the room a better visible look. There was an horrible smell when we walk in (we just got a candle and lit it) maybe trying some bake soda in the empty rooms to eliminate this. There were no bath towels in the bathroom. But the good thing that I enjoyed was that the refrigerator got COLD! The stove top was clean (thumbs up). But it was in a great spot we did not have to go far for anything. I would stay again

During my stay there was alot of residents at all times of the night being loud and standing around making it feel not safe. Then there was a night where we lost water and noticed they had a pipe break on the third floor and a employee was dumping it from the top and it was pouring out by our door and coming under the door it was a mess and a horrible stay. Property is central to 2 bus lines 6 which goes across town the 14 which covers the malls between both you can reach good chunk of savannah plus you have conivence of stores within short walk that literly have all you could need of many places i stayed in savannah this by far is best value convience total package

This is an extended stay building predominantly that rents low-quality rooms for roughly $1,800 per month. It should no longer rent to overnight guests. Better yet, demolish it and build something new in its place.

The bathroom doesn’t have a soap rack and they haven’t provided any shampoos.

Many live in situations there people hanging out in front if their rooms as if it’s a porch with chairs and boots outside looks like transient construction workers reside there. The room smelled stale and moldy needs update and upkeep

We enjoyed our stay. The room was decent. Smelled a lil stale, and the trash wasn’t taken out before we came. Other than that it was good.

The king size bed was comfortable, raise on a frame, but to a height that I could sit on comfortably. There were two chairs, to be used at the long desk under the tv. They were fine for that but not made for sitting to watch the large screen tv. The only drawback was that there were no lamps, sconces or other lights on the night stand, only the rooms overhead light. I like to read before I go to sleep, so had to use my cellphone flashlight and that was not the best.

The room was spacious and clean. The lawn areas had loads of dog poop on it. The room had been broken into several times from the look of the busted door molding.

I do not recommend. Hotel has bugs and dirty. Requested to cancel because of conditions and hotel staff (Emma) communicated with Expedia that it was a lie. Upon entering the room I took pictures and videos. Bugs were wondering around all night!

I booked a room through Expedia the pictures they had posted looked okay. I drove to the property and drove through the parking lot looked at it and felt unsafe. Didn't even check in due to felling unsafe. Had to book another room at another motel. Hopefully Expedia make this right

This place gets the outdoors cleaned all the time, self towel and bedding change at the office and night security.The morning staff is very pleasant, they have great weakly rates and they allow animals. Maintenance is timely and repairs anything you need.
