It was very clean and the staff was fantastic

I didn't like that they only serve hot breakfast on the weekends. It would have been nice to have a hot breakfast every day of the week.

It was convenient to the area where we were going.

I felt very unsafe at this location. My room was towards back of property. When I entered the back door with a sign saying for your safety this door is kept locked at all times. Ironic as the latch was broken off and the door did not latch in any way!! I did get the very helpful housekeeping manager Jennifer to move me to the front of the building closer to the front desk and I bring my own security lock when traveling. I stayed the 1 night but if you’re traveling by yourself I don’t recommend this location. The property is very clean and well maintained.

Okay for the price. Don't expect a luxurious stay. The floors made our feet dirty and there was a dead bug in the room when we arrived. But we just needed a place to sleep a couple nights and it was fine.

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not match that level of service. The property was very dirty and clearly not updated. The photos online do not accurately reflect the current condition. Our bedding had visible stains, and getting clean towels was a constant struggle, they were almost never available. The cleanliness and overall style felt more like a motel, yet the price was expensive, nearly $200 a night. We also did not feel safe around the property. The pool was very dirty. Overall, I would not stay here again.

The room was cleaned in a rush since it wasn't prepared beforehand, the back door to the hotel itself was not locked the lock was clearly broken on top of people purposely placing the rug in the doorway so it couldn't shut all the way which was a little discouraging considering there was a sign right by said door stating "please keep door closed for the safety of our guests" we had gotten back late from our friends get together before their wedding day and we were met by a man leaving this door with his hood up and a mask covering his face...not a very welcoming feeling. I can't say I will be staying here again but I hope this does improve for the safety of future guests. I am currently pregnant so the safety of my family is a top priority and I don't recommend bringing yours if you feel the same, especially traveling out of state.

Apparently if you get bumped out of the sleep inn because they always overbook you get put to a different motel called Main stay. This appears to be where people live. Very noisy and smells like pot.

The area was great and the staff was nice. There was old food in the refrigerator. Sheets had stains. The lighting in the room was terrible especially if you're trying to apply make-up. There is no full-length mirror.

The big Christmas tree was beautiful. And the room was nice and clean and warm once we walked in Nice and quiet

I reserved the suite and we get to our room there was not in the room and he brought another one and left and the remote did not work and the bed squeaked all night.. I paid suite price and this was not set up like a suite was suppose to look like…

I came down to breakfast late but was still able to grab something and put it in my room. We got in late. Brushed our teeth and the sink wouldn't drain. Next morning took a shower and was standing in water when I finished my shower. Couldn't call the desk because "phones were down". Came home after our time out and the sink was still clogged! Again had to physically walk to the desk and ask for maintenance. He came right away and fixed the sink (he never even looked at it the day before) but had cleaned the tub train out the day before. Also the back door that is supposed to be locked at all time more often than not was propped open. We noticed that our room cards didn't actually work to open that door (it must be broken). When I mentioned it to a staff person they acted like it was no big deal. I took the piece propping the door open every time I came in/out.

The whole property was filled with people using and selling drugs. The smell of marijuana was everywhere and seeped into the room all night. Was completely shocked to find this…. It looked like such a charming place online.

It was odd. It is extended stay so there are a lot of children roaming the halls. The staff were nice. The room didn’t cool down much either. The bed was comfortable though! If you’re looking for an economic comfortable sleep, this is your place!

First of all, it took FOREVER to check in!!! For some reason, they couldn’t find my reservation in the system. I showed confirmation number and they still wasn’t able to locate it. No Wi-Fi in the room. Printer was not working for hard copy receipts upon check out. Got steam burn trying to operate the single serve coffee maker that was not working properly.

The hotel is conveintly located about 12 minutes from Forsyth Park and about another 6 minutes from River Street. It may not be right for some but after making some adjustments and with the staffs help, I was glad I stayed. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and I had an amazing nights sleep.

Breakfast was less than par. Though the room was pretty clean, the clientele in and around the facility was disparaging to say the least. I’m more than certain the staff is aware of what is going on in the facility because they engage with the seedy, street walking/working individuals. As soon as I pulled up to the location, I was HIGHLY disappointed! This was my second visit to Savannah, first time I stayed at another hotel out by the airport and no I won’t mention the business. Had I known anything about this midtown area, I would’ve have NEVER booked!! Women outside half naked, obviously selling themselves for drugs and whatever else!! They looked at me as if I was interested in buying what they were selling!!! Considering I booked for 5 days I knew it wouldn’t get my money back!! I prayed before walking into your establishment that I wouldn’t get robbed or worse. Needless to say I cut my vacation short and I was sick by the time I made it home! Being that I’ve stayed with Sleep Inn in other cities and NEVER experienced such low class, distaste I will blame it on the location. I wouldn’t recommend this location to my worse enemy!!!

Pet Friendly Nice lobby Moisture Smell in room condensation very wet and damp no protein or fruit juice was horrible. The pool water did not look clean. Rooms furniture need deep cleaning chair in the room was disgusting and so were walls and floors.

Room was dirty and smelled like an entire gallon of baby powder was dumped in the room and we couldn’t breathe… the fridge was off and warm and the bathroom sink was flooded… the bread and bagels were hard and old and there was liquid all over the floor around and under the garbage can… I witnessed a staff member drip two stacks of cups on the floor and proceed to put them out for customers to use… just disgusting :(

Our refrigerator didn’t work for 3 days, We kept working with refrigerator finally started working, coffee maker not working had to be swapped out, milk in cooler was clabbered, water wouldn’t come out of shower nozzle, luggage cart they had three but tires were flat on 2 of the carts. The people that worked there were super nice.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the TV, larger than most other properties that I've visited. The room was a good size and nicely decorated. The waffle breakfast was sufficient, better than no food at all. Butter would have been nice but these are costly times so,, I understand. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you very much!

the room was clean however the front desk and housekeepers refuse to give you towels. We were there for 3 nights and could not get a clean set of towels. The pool area was also a little dirty. There were left over clothing and trash around the pol. The breakfast is terrible, not many choices, the coffee was cold and old and the waffles were soggy when you take them out the waffle iron.

Limited food options in walking distance unless you like chucky cheese! Room was spacious but they provided K cups and the coffee maker is for the slide in bagged coffee. A must visit is Fort Pulaski while in Savannah!

The room was basic and worked for just sleeping if you won’t be spending much time in the pool. You have to turn in old towels for clean ones, which is a little difficult with children. Found a cockroach in the bathroom. Over all it wasn’t terrible but I won’t be staying here again.

It was a reasonable option for our large family. We rented two rooms. They were spacious enough, clean, and just right for passing through town. Will stay again if need be.

my only complaint is I had a multi day day and there was no coffee replenished in my room like the following morning. I knew the room was not gonna be cleaned because I was just there for two nights and then when I called down for coffee that evening for the next day, they did not have any that’s my only complaint other than that. Excellent property friendly nice good.

The hotel was OK. I was very disappointed in it though because in the advertisement it said that it had a bar/lounge and that is the reason why I booked that hotel because we wanted to be able to have a few drinks in the evenings in the bar and when we got there and got checked in, the only bar they had was where they put the waffle machines in the morning for breakfast

The value for the money was great, and honestly it was good over all. If you’re looking to stay in Savannah near the downtown/historic district, this is a good place to go. I’d stay here again. I took one star because when we stayed they were in the middle of moving new furniture in and upgrading rooms so we didn’t get to experience the renewed rooms completely..

The key did not work on the door, so I went back and forth two times. The clerk was not at the counter, so I waited for over thirty minutes. The room floor was sticky and not clean. I will not go back to this hotel. Overall, it was a bad experience.

Our room tv did not work, it was stuck in Spanish. The remote would only turn on and off the tv. Asked front desk, they never did fix it. Wasn’t a big deal as we didn’t mind no tv.

Should have listened to reviews. The staff was horrible. Asked for joined rooms and got put on separate floors. Never gave us fresh towels so I asked for some from the front desk and was told no. We had mold in the bathroom on the ceilings and lots of bad repairs by the windows which also had mold. The other room had the same issue plus huge cobwebs above one of the beds. The room keys also barely worked on the outer doors. Breakfast was a joke with the food wrangler telling you how much you could have and then no cups for the coffee or other hot drinks. I would never stay there again. Glad the other guest had the same complaints

We had mold in the bathroom on the ceilings and lots of bad repairs by the windows which also had mold. The other room had the same issue plus huge cobwebs above one of the beds. The room keys also barely worked on the outer doors. Breakfast was a joke with the food wrangler telling you how much you could have and then no cups for the coffee or other hot drinks. I would never stay there again. Glad the other guest had the same complaints

I wouldnt even give this 2 stars. Very hard to find your way around the hotel. The plug in the bathtub didnt work, the shower curtain had a rip in it, room was still hot and stuffy, even with the AC set at 60. Even though it was just a 2 nught stay the beds were not changed and the trash not emptied. There were no covers on the duvets on the bed. There was never anyone at the front desk. I will never stay at a Sleep Inn or other hotel in this chain.

Terrible front staff lady, if you aren’t happy and have attitude, just do all of us a favor and just quit. No one needs to walk in to check in and be greeted by an unwelcoming person and doesn’t want to answer any question.

Our stay was nice enough except the walls are super thin and you can hear everything. I mean we heard others snoring and child who made so much noise late at night.

It was fine , the breakfast was ok , but ask for towels the day before we left and was told they didn’t have any , which was unacceptable , party in party room with loud music luckily I couldn’t hear it , probably would not stay agin , it was a bed and a shower

Me and my wife stayed two nights with my 3 month old son. When I booked it a week in advance I selected a room with a king bed but when we got done with our five hour drive and got to our room it was two double beds. Went down there to ask about it and I was told they didn't have any left, and I responded, well that's why It's called a reservation and that's why I did it a week in advance. I was also thrown off because I find it hard to believe there was not a king bed left because there is barely any cars in the parking lot. But anyways.... He told me he can't give me something that isn't available, to which I responded, no I don't guess you can thanks for nothing. Breakfast wasn't that great either cause I went down there to grab something and she still hadn't set everything out. And there is something wrong with the coffee. I think they need to clean the coffee dispenser. When we went to check out the lady upfront was so obsessed with her phone she didn't even realize I was up there for like a whole minute and when I kindly said hello she just told me to hold on a minute and continued on her phone a little longer. The room cleanliness was pretty average I didn't have no complaints about that. However the security door stopper was barely holding on with a few tiny wood screws So that was pretty much useless. Overall I just wasn't impressed at all. I will never stay here again. I'd rather pay more to have a better experience. i would be firing some people honestly.

The best part of our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the attendant who checked us in and the one who checked us out. I wish I took their names. The facility had been updated, but the breakfast was somewhat basic and lacked variety.

Great place except only one elevator on other side of property. We took elevator but had to walk all the way around property to get to our room, esay to get lost. People with disabilities should avoid 2nd floor rooms. My wife has cardiac condition and gets short of breath easily. So next time we will get room on first floor.

It wasn't horrible but we wont go back. The location was great but there were many hotels in the area. Staff was fantastic, friendly, and helpful. Our bathroom could have been much cleaner. And the AC...the person sleeping next to the AC was cold, the rest of us....not so much. And it turned on and off every 2 minutes so the noise and temperature regulation was rough. There was so. Much. Weed smell! We could also hear EVERYTHING tgrough the door. An alarm went off across the hall, behind their closed, and i heard it in our room with the door closed. I was awake but still, 2 closed doors and the hallway separating us. The pool was closed (not open for the season yet) but the pool area and courtyard looked very nice. So nice enough but with so many choices in the area, I would suggest trying something else.

They are running a predatory business that will sell a room at a low price and then tell you that they don’t have your reservation when you arrive. But their solution to that will be to sell you the same room again at over double the cost. Shameful!

Arrived late at night, front desk charged added fees and wouldn’t explain why. Staff rolled their eyes when asked about it. Was sent to a room where the smoke alarm was chirping every 5 minutes. Ended up leaving and not staying the night

Granted, by them selves none of these are a major issue. Just a lot of little things that indicate small details are not being taken care of.

The next day but instead charged me for the hi GG er rate. So now I assume I won't be refunded the first reservation becaue we didn't want to stay that extra day because we had to be somewhere else.

The location was perfect and the facilities were clean and convenient. I always come back because the price is great for this hotel.

A very beautiful property

Overall the hotel served it's purpose. The staff was pleasant, location was good, and the room was fairly clean. The room was not comfy and cozy as it lacked carpet and additional sitting space outside of bed. My biggest complaint was that the mattress was not encased with a protector to protect from potential bed bugs. There was no luggage rack and the refrigerator never got cold. The breakfast was poor other than a waffle nothing else hot. Elevators are not easily accessible so be prepared to take stairs.

The place needs some work. The shower curtain was falling, one bulb in the bathroom was off, the carpet was dirty. The staff was super nice, but I’ll think twice if I’ll stay there next time.

The bed was comfortable but the rest of the stay wasn't what I asked for. I reserved a suite with a balcony but I didn't get the balcony. They said they don't have suites with a balcony. I had to ask for the TV remote and a blow dryer. The TV was horrible and I had to use my laptop to watch TV. It was loud and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Continental breakfast was very good, with lots of selections. Quiet surroundings and overall condition of the buildings and surrounding area was very good.

Checked in on Friday night. I had called to tell the front desk that I was running later than expected and the person on the phone confirmed it was fine and said "if that's all I need to go" and hung up. It was all so that's fine. When we arrived the entire property smelled like mildew. Everything in our room was moist from the towels to the sheets on the bed. Someone mentioned that they had bed bugs as well in another room. I took 2 showers in my time there and my towels never dried once. It claimed to be a smoke free community but it seems that people read that "feel free to smoke" the entire place smelled like weed from the time I arrived to the morning I left. Morning and night. I won't stay here again even though the location was pretty good.
