    Friendly staff person behind the counter. Decent location being close to a lot of what Savannah has to offer Room advertised as non smoking.Immediately smelled smoke as soon as I entered the room. Next find were several holes in the drywall as well as every wall in the room having stains. Lastly and most concerning were cockroaches both dead and alive on the floor. Friendly staff person behind the counter was gracious enough to let us look at another room to find the same thing. Ultimately decided to leave as room(s) was unfit for occupancy. I realize it’s not a 5 star property but what we found entering the room no traveler no matter how much room cost shouldn’t have to deal with. Have pictures to prove everything. Currently dealing with booking.com to get my money back.

    The room?.....I got what I paid for. I stayed here a few years ago, and I dont remember it being in the condition it is now. The front lobby is definitely paid attention to more than the rooms. Room walls are filthy...holes everywhere. Mattresses are terrible. The shower curtain rod is about to fall off the wall. You have to play with the bathroom door handle to get it to close. The toilet runs if you don’t jiggle the handle. Walk around barefoot in your room, and your feet will look like you've walked around Wal Mart with bare feet. You could smell others using recreational drugs through the walls. Again...I got what I paid for. I am in Savannah at least 4 or 5 times a year. I will not be staying here again.

    Parking was good, but security questionable, people live in this hotel, bare provisions no hair dryer, no clock, no kleenex, floor was dirty, 2 towels only, 1 tp roll, must pay $1 for more, no breakfast, location was good, shower hot, killed roaches in the room, car alarms go off first night, small fire in trash can in parking lot requiring fire dept and police the next night, dont recommend this place

    I was assigned, first, to a room that wasn't check by the staff, because their was stuff that wasn't mine in the closet and drawer. Also, the floor wasn't clean. I has to kill 3 cockroaches. After I complained about it. They gave me another room, clean this time. But I wasn't really sure of anything anymore. Gratefully, their wasn't any issue in the new room. The staff was considerate.

    Do not stay here. They dont have hot breakfast like the website says. They don't have any breakfast at all. You're charged for extra tissue and the room we had smelled like old socks. We found the source of the smell, a blacken moldy connection door. Never book if you can help it.

    Check in time was 3:00. I arrived at 2:45 and was told I needed to wait for 10 minutes. I was fine with that since I was early. A few other people came in early and were told to wait. When 3:00 arrived the lady from the desk was in the back and not at the desk. Me and several other people stood in the lobby and waited until about 3:35 with no one at the desk. They did not start checking people in until 35 minutes after normal check in time. The motel was nice but it was very stressful trying to get our room.;

    Hair and stains on the towels. Sink drain rusted. Water pressure abysmal. Paint flaking on walls and ceiling. Bugs. Toilet dirty. Parking lot trashy. Furniture broken, the drawers wouldn’t open. No Iron. Whole place smelled like cigarettes and weed.

    Very loud with people outside the door all hours of the night. The staff tried to give us a dirty towel he had been using on his sweating forehead instead of getting out of his chair to get clean towels. Sketchy place all the way around. We were supposed to stay two nights but left early after the night in beds we couldn’t sleep in.

    I chose a premium room with microwave and fridge. I even called the hotel several days before i flew in to make sure I would have these amenities. I was reassured I would have these upon check in. My flight landed about 11pm. We stopped at a fast food restaurant to pick up food and went straight to the hotel. I checked in at the front desk, got my key card and went to the room.(my 2yr & 18yr old with me) Things looked a bit sketchy. I opened the room and began looking around. No microwave or fridge, supposed to be nonsmoking but strong smoke smell, smoke detector covered in plastic bag, holes in the walls around the ceiling were stuffed with toilet paper. I went back to front desk and informed her. She contacted GM and offered me another room. That room was the same and also a dirty razor blade was on floor near bed. I went back and asked for a refund, i wasnt staying there with my kids for a week. I had to contact hotels.com to get my refund, 7-10 days. I had to find another hotel, pay for it and didnt get settled till after 2am. Hotels.com didn't offer anything extra. Did not offer me another hotel, a free night elsewhere, or any money back other than what i paid for all the inconvenience. Very disappointed in the whole situation. I came all the way from Ohio with my 2yr old to visit my daughter in Georgia (college) for a week. So many issues and having to find somewhere else to stay at 2am is just crazy. I will never stay here or may never use hotels.com again.

    Save your time, money, and frustration. They charge you for extra tissue, the room smelled and and was full of mold, no refrigerator or coffee maker in the room and I had to unplug the microwave to get mu food out. Front desk never answered the phone and the hot breakfast the hot breakfast the website bragged about was nothing but air and coffee! Definitely will never book again.

    Has a non smoking sign on door. The bath had bad odor coming from sink area. The room also had roaches in bathroom coming from behind the dresser and above head boards you see where they laid eggs and they coming from behind there. I understand it was holiday weekend and was last minute trip but I was better off sleeping in my car

    Stayed for a weekend and found at minimum 6 roaches throughout the room and also bathroom as well. Woke up with my legs bit up and part of my face bit up as well. The laundry could have been more clean I feel but there is still the fact that this is a motel not hotel so there is that to consider.

    This property should be shut down by the health department. It is disgusting! The guests seem mostly welfare recipients and or othewise homeless,or living a week to week existence, at the lower levels of society, but they should not have to live like this. Management allows block parties to occure nightly, til 4 am. with out consideration for other guests. Instead they watch while shopping carts of supplies are hauled in by guests friends wo the garbage piles up high. The place is roach infested, but when you ask if they have roach motels they scoff.But if you travel with a cat and need to stay in Savannah, this is only one of two places to go and management knows that. It was a real eye opener.

    The room was clean. The beds are smaller than I expected and very uncomfortable. I was very stiff when the next morning. I ask for extra towels and 2 extra pillows because our party consisted of 3 adults and 2 small children, The room came with 2 small pillows and 2 sets of towels. I call the front desk and spoke to the 3-11pm team member and asked for 2 additional pillows and 2 more sets of towels she told me okay. We I went get the items there was a shift change and I was told she was left with no linen. She did not bother to look. The main purpose for the hotel stay was due to a clogged drain which caused my home to be with our water until the plumber could come back to complete the repair.

    There was dead and alive roaches... You could tell this is where people sold and did drugs and also prostitution. They wouldn't give me a full refund even though I hadn't touched the bed they put in another room and the heater didn't work. Overall would never come back. Front desk staff was great.

    The lady at the front desk was amazing. There were roaches everywhere. There were piles of disgusting trash outside our door.     It smelt like urine and every other smell, it was so bad that I couldn't sleep. Thanks God it was one night and the night came quickly to an end. I couldn't wait to leave this morning and my goal was to extend my stay. I ran without looking back eww. The fridge is nasty, microwave nasty. In fact when I first arrived they gave me a room without a fridge or microwave and I complained about it, then they gave me another yet but a nasty room. No toilet papers, it was a terrible mistake to stay on the first floor, it smelt like urine and I believe the ac was pulling the air from outside into the room. I have never experience anything this nasty, I am appalled.

    It was cold so we turn heater on Then there was dust burning smell So had to open door to change air I think they never used heater Staff was ok We called before booked and got told option or room what we pick will have microwave and fridge When check in it was not there So went back and ask about it she said non of the room have.     It was cold so we turn heater on Then there was dust burning smell So had to open door to change air I think they never used heater Staff was ok We called before booked and got told option or room what we pick will have microwave and fridge When check in it was not there So went back and ask about it she said non of the room have.     The room was one if not the worst room I have ever stayed in. Floors were dirty, bed had what appeared to be pubic hair in it. So many people were smoking marijuana while walking around the property in broad daylight. I can not say for sure, but it seemed like the room next door to my sister they were running a prostitution ring. The police had to be called because of fights in the breezeway. We will never stay in another Motel 6 again. On a scale from 1-10 I would rate it a _-20.

    I have stayed at many economical based hotels. I’ve stayed at some in the vicinity of this Motel 6 that are excellent that are very good. In my opinion. This motel six does not even deserve to be open. I just needed a room for one night due to an over booking. My room was horrible. The beds were like spring mattresses. You could feel the springs very few if any outlets to plug-in, the shower was horrible. The head fell off when I turned the water on. I screwed it back in, but I did not feel safe the sink faucet. It sprayed water out the sides. The TV and cable service was very bad a remote control that was probably developed 2530 years ago the pills I think they were made of cotton with pillow covers over them. I know the rate was very cheap and now I can certainly understand why I ended up sleeping very little because when I moved on the mattress, you could feel the springs or whatever it was. It was totally uncomfortable and another thing there were a couple of former outlets that were uncovered that were not covered. I’ve stayed in hotels for many many years. I cannot recall the last time I stayed in a room that was this pitiful and you only had one control of the lights. The two lights that were over each bed no lamps no nothing a kindergarten table with a kindergarten chair, but I will say this the employee that check me in. She was very friendly very nice very accommodating so the staff was very good. Oh no coffee pot in the room not even a cheap coffee pot in the room

    We will never ever stay at a Motel 6 again . The room was not clean and there was a dead bug on the floor of the bathroom. When she went to use the bathroom again , there were live bugs crawling on the edge of the bathtub. We proceeded to checkout and were given a receipt for our reimbursement of $ 332.86 . We then checked into a Best Western which proceeded to cost us $859.97 for the same 5 night stay in Savannah . The city is beautiful but our experience with Motel 6 left a bad taste in our mouth.

    Checking in was easy, finding the place was easy.. when I arrived, someone was getting arrested for knocking on doors and busting through rooms. I was relieved he was going away. Went to my room, there was a group of people outside playing around, a man walking up and down the stairs with an empty can & no shirt. Got into my room and at first glance it seemed clean. After going through the room, there were beer caps under the table and in the bathroom.. the floor was dirty and sticky and hair in the tub. I was in there for about an hour and started hearing the smoke alarm beeping. I had to swallow my urge to get someone to replace the battery because it was about 12a and my children had already laid down. I only stayed one night so I didn’t need to make a fuss. I knew I got what I paid for so if you choose this place, you get what you got. My experience was okay because my plans didn’t require too much. Just know it’s a basic space for your quick visit. No microwave for you snack and bring your own everything.

I saw no bugs, the ac and everything worked properly. I had to get a remote from the office, it didn't work but i operated the tv manually. I don't rent a room to watch tv anyway.

    I didn’t like anything. I hated everything. Beds too hard, no refrigerator, no microwave, ice machine inconveniently sits on the second floor, bathrooms outdated, no weather strip under the door, trash piled up near drink machine. It’s literally just beds, a tv an old unsanitary bathroom. No amenities, no appliances. Nothing.

    They need to remove all pictures of this property because it is not as nice looking in person as it is on the website pictures. The trash outside near the steps need to be cleaned daily because of the people that live there long term just hanging outside their rooms . The side walk needs to be pressure washing. The towels need to be replaced cause they are dingy and the floors need to be sweep and the corners cleaned because of dust and dirt buildup. The walls and the closet needs to be repainted and wiped down from spots that like human blood and mucus. This was a last minute stay that I won’t pick again. Just pick wisely because all these place use deceiving pictures.

    Checked out a day early because the room was infested with roaches, literally everywhere. Told the lady at the front desk and all she had to say was “I’m sorry.” It was also incredibly noisy with some couple outside fighting at 7am. Definitely would not go back and spend hundreds of dollars for that nonsense.

    we had to wait until 3 to check in (which is normal and okay) but when he let us in the room, it hadn’t been cleaned.. like at all. so he swapped our rooms, and that room wasn’t perfect, but better than the first. we cut out vacation short since our second night the smoke detector was chirping all night & the only thing we could do was keep pressing the bypass button on the smoke detector. the guys at the desk offered to switch us to different rooms, but it was already 11:30pm & our kids were asleep. we WOULD stay there again, we would just like it to be better maintained.

    Never again! No refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee machine, very dirty, very noisy, the ice machine didnt worked, the pool was closed. And the staf didn't care at all, the only thing they said was that i had to contact expedia because i had a reservation for a room with refrigerator and microwave, but they don't have rooms with these amenities => says staf! Didn't feel safe at all, horror hotel!!!

    I booked with this property, it advertised pool when we arrived the pool was closed down I asked for a discount since I drove there already they declined . The ice machine didn’t work and my room and everything in it felt damp / wet . I went ahead and stayed , but will not be returning to this location.

    PLEASE READ As I write this I am still owed $100 USD on the deposit for the room at the Motel6, this transaction was completed according to the employee, this refund should have been immediate as are majority of transactions on VISA. Hotel is claiming it takes 5 days to show up on my card. I am shocked that this was a hotel that was made available on Expedia and that the Motel6 brand has approved this location. I should have read the reviews that others had left. I stayed here with my son and as we arrived there were clearly signs this was a longer term home for many and as we received our key it was clear the hotel was frequented by prostitutes, they arrived as we were in the lobby and as we were leaving - all paying cash. In the middle of the night screaming and arguments were plenty. The room was disgusting, bodily fluids on the floor and cockroaches in the bathroom, sheets with hair on them, enough said. We needed a place to sleep and frankly I was embarrassed at what I had chosen, there was no other option to get another place. We stayed in our clothes and slept there one night. I just wanted to leave, I hope Expedia will investigate and remove this hotel from their site to avoid others going through the same. I hope I get a room refund, $100usd deposit plus the $2usd charge for “utilities” which clearly was not necessary.

    Not the best. No coffee maker,no iron, terrible quality towels. Hotel looked better on website. There was a deposit and extra charges after arriving. Website said what was quoted was final price. Air conditioner was making loud noises the whole time. Very hard to rest. Smelled like Marijuana the entire stay.

    There were roaches, there was an electrical issue in my first room. Asked to be moved to another. The tv did not work in that room. There were people very loud and children running and blocking the stairway. Trash everywhere. There was gum under the table in the room. There was drug residue on top on the closet. The tub was not clean. The take a deposit for a one night stay and tell you it will come back in 3 hours when you check out but you don't get it back that quick. I still haven't gotten mine and it's been over 24 hours. This place needs to be inspected by fire marshals due to the electrical issues. I can hear the electricity sparking in I assume was the room next to me. This place deserves zero stars and should be closed down. This is not a safe place. I was very disappointed

    I don’t even want to stay here tonight. It is not very clean- hairs in the dirty looking towels, i’m really hoping there’s not fecal matter on the wall beside the toilet, and there are cockroaches!! I’ve been in this room for an hour and a cockroach walked over the bed covers beside me. Leaving the light on for sure.

    My reservation was for a king room with a refrigerator and microwave. When I arrived at the room. I didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator I called the front desk she told me they don’t have refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms anymore.The room had roaches and smelled horrible. They moved me to the second room it was flooded. Finally they moved me to a double room that had a refrigerator and microwave. It was much cleaner than the other two rooms and didn’t have roaches. I won’t be a returning guest.

    The front lady was nice so the 1 star is for her. The room doesnt even deserve a 1 star. The moment we open the door to the room, it reeks with smell( smoke and urine) with clamps of dog hair given the fact that we requested for a FREE SMOKE ROOM. The bedsheets were dirty with stain and some bug waste. The walls and curtains have stains too and I dont even want to think what it was. The bathroom walls have inscription of sexuall words which is not appropriate for a family with a kid. I ended up going to walmart to buy a full queen size bed sheets set coz I dont want to use the sheets they have on the bed. I also bought lysol spray to sanitize and spray everything a d to get rid of smell, and a car air freshener for the AC but still the smell was very strong. We didnt want to stay longer so we have to check out. If you want a nice clean but affordable place to stay. THIS IS NOT IT. you can find it somewhere else.

    The rooms were dirty after seeing two of them. Sheet had stains in them. Guys hanging out around room door. Homeless people traffic in area. Ask for refund it refunded and recharged my card. I have reached out about my money. I did stay. I requested a refund same day.

    It was the worst experience I ever had. The room was not clean, mold all over the sheets and pillows. It smelled like smoke but was a non smoking room. All the wall were nasty and dirty. Gave them the blankets to wash and I never got them back

    I felt shamed from the beginning. When I reserved the room, the site said I would have to pay one dollar the motel. When I got at the motel they said I had to pay a one hundred dollar deposit and 2 dollars. The room was nasty ( blood on bathroom wall). The TV didn’t work. Over all a bad experience.

    The first room assigned to me was absolutely filthy. I requested to move to a different room and it was a little better, but still dirty with foot prints on the bathroom door. There was who knows what on the walls. Also, the police arrived on the property and we not able to sleep at all due the noise throughout the night. This was the most experience I ever had at a hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Look elsewhere. When i went to leave at 6am in the morning they told me they couldn’t give me my $100 deposit back because the owner wasn’t there to unlock the safe and told me i had to wait until 11am. This is my schedule back a few hours. The hotel is dirty and the remote didn’t work, smoke detector was missing and had some crums in the bedding. This is a privately owned and they charge you for utilities

    Went to Savannah for a one day outage at a local paper plant there, booked my room through Expedia. Pulled in, and went to check in, first thing they told me was that the room i booked they didnt have anymore. Okay, I'll take another room. On Expedia, and in their lobby it says 25$ security deposit, they charged me a 100$. Got into the room, and it's very dirty. Toliet paper shoved into the peephole, fire alarm missing, food crusty and caked on the inside of microwave, what appeared to be dead bugs smashed on the back of the bathroom door, hole on the bathroom door. Towels didnt appear washed, looked like someone had stepped on them. Just very sub par conditions. Took pictures of everything and went down to show front desk because i wanted to make sure i got my deposit back, and there was people in front of me. They charged the people in front of me, only 50$ for the security deposit. People being drunk/loud outside at 11pm. You can do better, spend a little extra to save yourself the trouble.

    Room did not come with a fridge, microwave, or HDMI ports in the tv? Staff was nice and tried to give us a different room but the second room reeked of cigarettes and the tv still didn’t have HDMI ports so we stuck with the first room and got a cooler and ice. There were people talking loudly around our room at all hours

    I booked through Expedia, but when I arrived there after a 10 Hour drive, the front desk woman told me that they were all booked up. I showed her that I already paid and she acted like it wasn’t her problem. Now they won’t respond to Expedia for me to get my money back. Ended up having to stay at a hotel where they put the homeless people.

    The property looked NOTHING less like what was advertised on Hotels.com. The views showed a fully renovated hotel and was certainly not an 8.5 rated hotel! Our room door lock barely worked and the hotel owner was far from courteous when asking for a room change. The room smelled musty, there were roaches … truly an unpleasant stay!

    Our rooms electrical outlets didn’t work. The beds were rock hard. We didn’t have a phone or ice bucket in the room. We were there for days and our room was not serviced. The floor was dirty. When we asked the night front desk clerk for clean towels we were told they wouldn’t anything clean until the next day.

    We chose this place based on the location and pictures, the hotel looked very nice with the orange walls and the bathrooms looked spacious and clean. We were going to Savannah just for one day and thought this place would be great. I reserved a room with a fridge and microwave and none of the rooms came with anything but a dresser and a table with a chair. The first room they gave us was dirty, had food cartons on the floor and cigarettes in a cup. The tv was still on and the beds were unmade. The 2nd room we got the room smelled of cigarettes that even the attendant was asking the cleaning person for “Fabreze” in front of me to spray the room. The 3rd room again looked nothing like the pics, holes in the walls and still smelled but at this point we just wanted a room. The door was very loose so you had to pull the door towards you to have the keycard work. The shutters kept opening during the night letting all the light in and there was no curtain to cover the window. I had to get the keycard activated 3 times because it wouldn’t let us in the room no matter how much we pulled at the door.The people in the next room were smoking weed and cigarettes and being loud even though we were in a “non smoking” section and being extremely loud that we were woken up at 4am and could not go back to sleep. This is the absolute worse experience in a hotel we have ever had.

    My employees were there for a small job. I forgot to extend their room one more night but never did I receive a courtesy call like other hotels have called me before if I was going to rebook another night because there was belonging in there. Which ok I understand so they went and took their belonging out of the room just to come find out that some of their belonging had been stolen. My employees were very distraught so I do not recommend. you do not do that to hard working men no matter what.

    Once’s we got in the room I noticed the towels and sheets had stains on them. There was a burn in my mattress. We felt the need to check the mattress for bed bugs. And we aren’t convinced they didn’t have bed bugs. Room had one set of towels a 1/2 a roll of TP and cockroaches. Staff was friendly. Our u er that picked us up to go out told us not to stay there again cause they have ppl who live there who are drug dealers and prostitution. It has to be one of the worst spot I’ve stayed. But it was non refundable. Luckily just for 1 night.

    No issues with check-in. The area was convenient to everything, shopping, restaurants and the necessities. I appreciate having my pup for free. There were some renovations going on I could see. The room next door had a broken window. My room was non-smoking but it was reaking of smoke! We had to buy incense to mask the smell and use essential oils and spray. The room was dirty, good thing we had our cleaning supplies! We had our own towels, the towels were dirty. We cleaned! Then we saw a roaches! We sprayed them with clorox spray! It was loud, people walking all times of night and yelling. We saw the cops there one morning, don't know why, but a woman was being put in the back. Trash was piling up next to the ice machine. We didnt feel safe enough to go out at night.

    Budget friendly although I did have to book online for best rate. Great location. Close to downtown, Oglethorpe Mall, 2 hospitals, and Hunter AAF. Outside of building looks nice. Desk clerk courteous. Room clean. Heater worked good. I did not use AC. Ample parking. Cons If my room is typical, this motel has seen better days. My room Had wire hanging from ceiling where smoke detector was missing. Was missing a telephone. Was missing a TV remote. Had no bedside lamp and light switch was next to door. Toilet paper dispenser broken although there was plenty of toilet paper. Batroom basin drained slowly. Toilet would stop up, but there was a convenient plunger next to toilet. Bathtub drained fine. After my first night no one came in to freshen room or replace towels.

    I didnt like the fact it was roaches everywhere in room if it wasnt for my lady bringing her own cleaning supplies I would of seen roaches everyday which I still did see only 1 or 2 versus the 4 or 5 we saw after entering the room. Also didnt like the fact some dude knocking on the door like police at 9am wanting to know if im a extend or not which is none of his business at that time. Proper courtesy would of been better especially when check out is at 11am not at 9am. I should of known for a 2 star hotel that it wasnt a good place stay especially when I got sick in the room yet everytime I step outside of room I felt instantly better. I will never stay there again. Especially when it felt like I was staying in the hood.

    Don't get fooled for the low price. Pay a lil bit more at other hotel and stay safe. This place got Zero higiene Zero protection and Zero comfort. The cigarette smells didn't let me sleep and when I got asleep a roach woke me up walking over me... In the morning I had to fight for a refund on my next 2 nights.When I finally got it I moved to another place. This hotel looks more like a public shelter. At nights is not safe to be outside with some homeless people walking around and weird guys "apparently" doing some kind of iligal trades. Hotels website should do something over this matter or don't offer this kind of places as a "great option" , you guys are taking your good reputation to the lower levels.

    In some Pretty shady places and this one takes the cake. After waiting over 30 minutes to check in my daughter and myself went into our room and immediately turned around and walked out. There were bugs on the floor, room was nasty and the door wouldn’t shut all the way and had a 2 inch gap in it. There were questionable people running around outside and it was not a safe environment for me and my 12 year old. I left my key on the dresser and went and booked a hotel elsewhere!! Run away and don’t do go here
