Reviews
The hotel is highly praised for its location across from Forsyth Park and its beautiful, historic decor. The staff is consistently described as friendly, helpful, and outstanding. However, several guests have expressed dissatisfaction with hidden fees, such as parking and pet fees, and some have noted that the pool area is in need of repair and cleaning.

Phenomenal! Highlight of our trip was staying at Bardo. We had restaurants and activities booked in Savannah, but honestly enjoyed the pool, the patio, and the restaurants at the hotel the most. It's a vibe. Drinks were also amazing. Text support. We asked for ice and they had it up to us in minutes. Will cover transportation for you within 2 miles. Loved the spa. Loved the gym. It was wonderful. Nothing. All good.

Location, staff, ambiance, rooms We loved our stay and will absolutely be back. If we were to suggest one improvement it would be faster cleaning service. Our room was cleaned closer to 5 Pm. It would have been nice for it to be done earlier in the day.

This property is beautiful and it has a playful yet elegant retro charm to it. Absolutely loved the courtyard and pool area. The room was stunning with great views of the park. We had a corner suite and the only thing I would suggest is adding a couch. We had a separate dining area that could seat 6 people at a table, but the only other place to sit was one arm chair. Seemed odd not to have a small couch in such a large space.

The property is beautiful and luxurious. It was truly a pleasure staying there.

We were roomed in the add-on white buildings and the hotel has recently been remodeled. The floor was scratched and the toilet paper holder was falling off (not significant issues, however esthetic. The house car wasn’t available either of the 2 evenings we were there. The vibe of the hotel is darling; however, most of the employees are just flat and non-conversational. It was fine, but slightly disappointing.

Without going into long detail about how nice this hotel is…the most important item you should know is that we would not hesitate to come back here. 5 stars in all aspects.

Just got home from a long weekend spent at the beautiful Hotel Bardo. From the beautiful pink and white umbrellas at the pool to the luxurious bathroom and friendly helpful staff, my group of 10 girlfriends from college loved every minute of it. It was authentic luxury not something fake or forced. Great job!

Comfortable, beautifully designed, great staff, quiet rooms Non residents can be club members and use the pool; as a result it was extremely busy and noisy on the Sunday when we were there

5 Star hotel with a 2 star front desk. We interacted with several staff members and couldn't tell if they were aloof, lacking language skills, lazy or just incompetent. Wait staff and valet services however were exceptional. Too bad. It's really a unique property.

This property is exceptional in every way, from the comfort of the bed, the size of the rooms, the design of the pool area, the bar and particularly the service. Every single person in the staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and truly outstanding. It would be nice if breakfast were included but they don’t really have a space to serve it. There is an excellent breakfast spot just across the street in the park.

Nice place and friendly staff… walkable to the River… if you want a quiet stay though, you are at the wrong place.. this is a family place. Also, add another $100 a night for “facility” fee an parking… this makes it not worth it

Awesome hotel. All the staff were amazing and very very accommodating. Love being by Forsyth Park. Pool was a very big plus for me and my wife. This area is less crowded than river street so if you want to relax a little more this place is great. We loved it and highly recommend.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. My only complaint is that we had to cancel our room service breakfast order. They told us it would be up in 30-35 minutes, but an hour later it still wasn’t there, and we had plans, so we were forced to cancel.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. We loved the location, and the staff were amazing—especially Brigitte, the concierge, and Alec. Brigitte was wonderful at arranging private tour guides and securing dinner reservations. The hotel is ideally located right across from the park and within easy walking distance of the riverfront. The restaurant on the property, Saint Bibiana, was one of the best we experienced in Savannah, and our waiter, Trystan, was fantastic. The pool was a wonderful bonus, and the spa was amazing as well. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever we return to Savannah.

The grounds are lovely, so many wonderful amenities and a gorgeous pool and outside covered garden area. We loved this hotel and will never stay anywhere else when visiting Savannah. Oh and the food is varied and delicious plus ammenities abound in your room. They think of everything.

Saint Bibiana is always a highlight of our visits. The food is delicious and the restaurant is beautiful. We recently returned to Hotel Bardo for our second annual girls’ trip, and unfortunately, this stay felt noticeably different from our first experience. Since our last visit, the hotel has introduced “Club Bardo,” which appears to function as a local membership-style club. While I understand the appeal from a business standpoint, the impact on the guest experience—particularly for out-of-town visitors paying premium nightly rates—was significant. The pool environment, which was previously a highlight, now felt overcrowded and chaotic. It resembled more of a summer camp atmosphere, with children running freely and multiple birthday parties taking over shared spaces. Securing a pool chair felt overly competitive, and basic amenities were inconsistent—there were periods when towels were unavailable and food service was delayed or unavailable due to private events. Additionally, housekeeping did not service our room without a request, which felt out of step with the level of service expected at this price point. Collectively, these issues point to a larger concern around capacity management. It seems the property may be accommodating more guests and local members than it can effectively support, resulting in a diluted experience for paying hotel guests. That said, I do want to recognize a few standout team members. Maxwell at the pool was consistently friendly and did his best to manage a challenging environment. We also had a positive interaction with a manager at Bar Bibi on Saturday (3/21), wearing a green and white striped dress—she was attentive and professional. In prior visits, we’ve noticed some staffing strain, particularly around the pool, but this stay made those gaps much more apparent. Hotel Bardo has a beautiful property and strong potential, but there needs to be a better balance between serving club members and preserving the experience for hotel guests.

Staff at the pool area did not take our complaint seriously. When the maintenance people were installing the shelving for an outdoor bar area, they dropped the whole shelving box over. There was a mother with her baby nearby and the shelf nearly hit the baby. It was a close call. We informed the staff about this but they basically did nothing. Kids continued to play around the area. It was. Dangerous situation that could have been tragic. Other than that, the hotel was nice.
- 3/5
Over priced. Has beautiful grounds but too crowded. Pay all that money and you can't even get a chair by the pool. Inside it is dark and uncomfortable. Great location by Forsythe Park. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great experience from start to finish! Service is impeccable and everyone is very friendly. They manage to anticipate all your needs and are more than willing to accommodate and extras. Spa was absolutely fantastic as well. We will be back
- 3/5
The room was clean and orderly. No wash cloths and the soaps were not hypoallergenic. Lovely shower though. Great coffee. Friendly staff. The food was pretty good at Bar Bibi, and the drinks were delicious. Ordered a burger using room service and it was very, very salty and overcooked for the exorbitant price. Lots of great restaurants a stone’s throw away. Disappointed the pool wasn’t open in the morning for a quieter swim.
- 3/5
Amazing location and a beautiful mansion facade are the high points. The low points: $50 “lodging fee” for every single day of your stay; Rowdy kids in the only pool; Paper thin walls, babies screaming, loud TVs of other guests; Not as “modern” looking as the marketing makes it seem — the feel is “motel with a cocktail bar.”
- 3/5
The food served was lackluster. The service was spotty. The room was missing parts of the floor leading to the bathroom.
- 4/5
The only bad thing is that the valets did not change our car, even though we requested twice ! We have a long trip back to Cumming and now we have to stop twice to charge!!!

The room looked run down for a 5 star hotel. I ordered room service and that was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a hotel. Friend ordered medium hamburger and got well done and one side was burnt. This hotel had vip status but it didn’t feel like it. I will have to call hotel back because I don’t see the 50 food vip credit added to my check out for the food we ordered. There were other hotels that were nicer and cheaper that had vip access. I will be selecting another hotel on my return to Savannah. The safe at the counter were nice but staff we loud when walking by rooms late at night and early in the morning. Again this hotel was not a five star hotel. I would be generous to call it a 4 star.

The only drawback I would say is the sauna. Considering the fees we pay for staying here, charging guest to use the sauna down to the minute comes off as ill represented of a 5 star resort. It's bothersome today how resorts and hotels attempt to squeeze every dollar out of guests even when charging guests a "resort fee." But beyond that, the hotel was exceptional.

It’s no coincidence or surprise that the Hotel Bardo Savannah appears on lists of best hotels in the US or in the world. This is our second stay at Hotel Bardo. It was lovely. My only complaint would be that the last day that we were there we were out most of the morning into the afternoon & at 3:00 we returned to rest & shower for an early business dinner & the maid was first getting to our room, so we didn't have our room cleaned or made up.

This hotel was immaculate and I will be staying again. The decor was great. The bed was heaven. The ONLY issue is the valet is $55 with an additional $49 destination fee, which they failed to mention in any capacity until after I was charged. So I basically spent $115 after taxes to park less than 24 hours.

Rooms large, very quiet and furnished in a warm contemporary style. Cannot wait to come back.

Beautifully updated property with elevated design features. Plenty of welcoming, smiling and friendly staff willing to help. Perfect location across from Forsyth Park (open space and playground). Easy street parking if not using the valet and there is an Old Town Trolley stop one street over. Charming, walkable area near shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

From the start, we did not receive our Expedia VIP Access upgrades, and it took multiple requests just to get a crib delivered to our room. Standard amenities like turndown service were non-existent. The most significant frustration was the hotel's accessibility. We arrived to find all restaurants and bar areas closed for a private wedding, rendering our $50 dining credit completely useless. This closure was not communicated to us, and more importantly, the hotel had no contingency plan for its other guests. When we sought alternatives, we were met with no solutions. The hotel's restaurant (not with the event) could not accommodate. The front desk's only suggestion was room service—an impractical and uncomfortable option when you have a toddler. A hotel concierge should have been prepared with alternative options or reservations. Instead, we were left on our own, eventually walking 20 minutes to find a restaurant. If a hotel is going to have a private buyout, it must either be a full buyout of all rooms or they must provide dedicated, supported alternatives for the guests who are not part of the event. This was a lovely property, but the lack of foresight and poor service made it a 3-star experience.

The hotel has a great location and friendly staff, making for a pleasant stay. However, the breakfast service in the restaurant could be improved, as it was rather slow.

This was one of the most beautiful and memorable places I’ve ever stayed at. The entire experience is unique and gorgeous in every way. The pool area was dreamy. Our room was just lovely. The corpus brand of shampoo and soap made me buy the line for home so I can remember my time there. It was perfect

My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon & I was so sad to leave. The hotel staff was great, amenities exceeded our expectations & the spa was SO worth it! We can’t wait to stay again in the future, and bring our family this time!

Amazing
- 4/5
The hotel was completely sold out, which slightly impacted our experience as we were placed in an accessible room. While it was still very nice, it wasn’t our first choice. The pool bar was a highlight with great drinks and a relaxing atmosphere, but they ran out of towels due to an issue, which was a bit inconvenient. Food-wise, the menu was very limited, and while it was okay, it didn’t wow us. One downside was the inside hotel bar—unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem the friendliest toward us, and at one point, we felt a bit invisible. Overall, Hotel Bardo is a stylish and comfortable place to stay for a weekend getaway. Some staff improvements and a few operational tweaks could easily make this a five-star experience.
- 4/5
We stayed two nights at Bardo Hotel. While the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, it fell short in a few areas. The “breakfast” consisted of just a couple of pastries, some fruit, and filtered coffee — far from what we expected. The reception area was oddly tucked away in a corner and lacked the welcoming feel of a proper lobby. Our room was pleasant, but the view was underwhelming. Overall, a nice, clean hotel with good service, but not quite worth the price.
- 5/5
What a gorgeous property! My room was stately with a calming vibe. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for exploring the South Historic District of Savannah. I knew ahead of time that valet parking would be expensive, so beware because on street parking is non-existent if you're staying on weekdays.
- 4/5
Very accommodating staff and a beautiful pool oasis on the heart of Savannah. We had problems with the sound proofing in our room which meant that we could hear our neighbors conversations which consistently kept us awake. The hotel staff did compensate us for this issue very generously however.
- 5/5
We had such a nice time. Room was comfortable, staff was welcoming and the pool was relaxing

This hotel is the best. I will recommend it to everyone I know.
- 5/5
Loved all the seating and dining/bar options including the pool area. The spa was excellent with dry sauna, relaxation room, and massages. Our room was beautifully decorated.
- 5/5
We loved Hotel Bardo for a girls trip! The hotel is immaculate, and very newly updated. The rooms were gorgeous, straight out of a magazine. They offered a free shuttle to different destinations. The pool was well organized, its not the largest pool so they have a system of turning over the chairs and a little bar area you can sit at and order food/drinks. It's a little further away from the main streets and shops, but we didn't mind! On the weekend there was a farmers market directly across the street which was fun to walk through.
- 5/5
The hotel was conveniently located and absolutely beautiful The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the front desk. I appreciated the early check-in and late check out option. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant, lunch at the pool, and loved the Moke rental.
- 5/5
Had a great stay and highly recommend!
- 4/5
Had a vehicle since we were traveling in from Charleston and given the location, valet charge of $55 daily is quite overkill for Savannah.
- 5/5
Absolutely lovely small hotel, with charming rooms, pretty gardens, and an accommodating staff.
- 5/5
Great style and decor, large room, pool area is fun!
- 4/5
Nice location and good property although the housekeeping staff is very loud in the morning when doing their rounds. There was a fire alarm incident that was annoying too. But all in all good hotel, nice rooms and great location
- 5/5
Excellence service. The room was beautiful and so was the pool bar. The bartnders there were amazing
- 5/5
Excellent hotel! Hotel Bardo is exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
The pool area was fantastic and the staff was engaging and tried to make our experience special.
- 4/5
Love the vibe at this hotel! The pool area was amazing! Will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Amazing! Must go
- 5/5
Awesome!!!
- 4/5
45 minute wait for ice. C"mon. $50 a day to park. $7 for a small glass of cranberry juice that was poured from Ocean Spray bottle. So yeah. Nickled and dimed. Friendly staff, nice pool.
- 4/5
The grounds were aesthetically pleasing to the eye featuring beautiful atrium and pool, palm trees, sitting areas, etc. the room was attractive, although beware the bathroom floors are very slippery after using shower. The water seems to spread without absorbing. We had to request rug and towels to absorb excess water. Also, after the housekeeping came, we were missing our remote control and requested another one but did not receive it until the next day, so we could not use TV that night. Friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Exceptional service
- 5/5
Little oasis
- 4/5
The pool area is the biggest advantage of this hotel. And that would be all I may share in a positive way.
- 5/5
Such a beautiful hotel!! Everyone was so awesome and kind!!!!
- 4/5
Restaurants and bar: incredibly overpriced. $26 for a small margarita. For lunch, my daughter ordered the "chef's crudo" which is described as catch of the day. What arrived were 4 paper thin slivers of tuna (less than an ounce) with oil and mayo dotted on the plate for $22. Spa: another rip off - 2 massages and 1 facial were over $1,000 because they automatically add 20 percent gratuity and a "location fee" or something ridiculous like that. Not to mention, my masseur literally only rubbed one of my legs. Overall, not a bad place to stay and within walking distance of all the sites, just don't eat, drink or spa there.
- 5/5
The best customer service the resort was amazing! So beautiful!
- 4/5
Very nice hotel in a lovely area across from a pretty park, with a great little swimming pool. However room wasn’t entirely comfortable: no real draws, no reading light, and a broken TV remote. Still, I’m not sure one could do much better in Savannah. It’s a sophisticated, well run place.
- 3/5
I believe they may have been top in service however, having recently stayed at The Wynn in Las Vegas and understanding what a Condé Naste hotel winner should have, I found them to be somewhat disappointing. Everyone was very kind, however our room was unable to get below 72 at night (we need it colder to sleep well), and we ended up with a fan because we didn’t want to move. They offered to move us but the disruption for the short time we stayed wasn’t worth it. It’s very old character and the park is amazing! Just an underwhelming experience especially for what we paid. I will definitely stay on the river from now on, as this was not worth the trip or the location.
- 5/5
It;s perfect.

- 5/5
Wonderful stay. Staff, accommodations and facilities were all excellently done.
- 4/5
Very stylish hotel, comfortable room, and lovely pool. Pool attendants were very attentive and friendly, pool vibe was mostly adult which was great. Pool bar closes at 5, which felt early. The building had a fire alarm which forced us all to evacuate which was very strange. Exit routes were a bit confusing and the stairs ended us at the pool and then we weren’t sure how to get out. Staff were nice but also seemed a bit confused when giving instructions.
- 5/5
customer service at its finest.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bardo. It was nice to have options on site for dining. We loved our corner suite view of the park. The pool was delightful and breakfast was just enough to start the day. Room service was great, and always arrived quickly. Every detail was thoughtful and beautifully executed. We hope to return again.
- 4/5
The hotel has a lovely design and a lot of potential, but during my stay it felt unusually busy, which took away from the overall experience. The bar closed earlier than I expected, and the inclusive breakfast—while appreciated—was quite minimal, with limited seating and items running out quickly. With a few adjustments, especially in managing peak times and enhancing amenities, it could truly live up to its five-star promise
- 5/5
Probably the nicest and most accommodating staff I have ever experienced
- 5/5
The Bardot was a great stay!
- 5/5
The pool area was nice and relaxing. I also enjoyed the restaurant attached to the hotel. The location was walkable to the river/downtown area (15 minutes). The personal driver was a nice addition, just needed to book a time.
- 5/5
Absolutely loved hotel bardo. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The building itself as well as the pool and seating area were beautiful. Staff was very professional and nice. Only thing I will say is the check in area was a bit tight and awkward because it was right near the elevator in a very small space. Coffee in the morning was very good. We would highly recommend hotel bardo and would definitely stay again!
- 3/5
Terrible. Service was ridiculously slow. I would never stay there again. Valet drivers were awesome! Best part of the stay was those guys. Very friendly and attentive!!
- 3/5
Was nice but overpriced. Booked a room with a separate bedroom but it was in the same room as the TV. The area has many B&B’s for a better value.
- 5/5
we particularly loved the outdoor space enjoying a coffee and doing a little bit of work outside in the beautiful courtyard was a nice way to start the day! Lunch & drink at the pool were a highlight with the young adults!
- 5/5
Booked a night for my husband’s birthday. The hotel and room were beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy the amenities but had planned on a few things, but the things we did want to do were unavailable due to private events. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable for missing out on those experiences. We recommend and will be back!
- 5/5
Hotel Bardo is a true gem. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The property is stunning—every detail feels intentional and luxurious. The views are breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the overall vibe is peaceful yet sophisticated. Easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend!
- 4/5
Good service
- 3/5
The trip started in a room without ac (78 degrees), they opened the window and gave us a fan. The front desk would not answer my calls after I left a review the manager got involved. It wasn’t until the manager got involved that we got moved to the room next door. The new room was comfortable; however, the lights in the new room seemed to be controlled by another room. They came back on after we turned them off. So strange. The front desk attendants did not seem to know that we were given late checkout and locked us out of our room. Over all the hotel seemed nice, I think we were just unlucky. They gave us a resort credit which we did not have time to use since our trip was planned. Great location on the park.
- 5/5
Beautiful!!! Upscale & Trendy Spot. We had an awesome stay
- 5/5
Beautiful park across the street for sunbathing & beautiful neighborhoods.
- 5/5
Property was beautiful, rooms had all amenities, lots of room. Food was yummy from the pool bar, drinks as well. Perfect location for walking, we didn’t have a car. We did use their complimentary car service one night. Pretty great place.
- 5/5
Absolutely stunning property in a prime location. Savannahs beautiful Forsyth Park. The rooms gorgeous, the pool gorgeous . The service fantastic and the management five star made us feel like family.

- 5/5

- 5/5
Loved my stay here ! Absolutely perfect!
- 4/5
Love this hotel. Love the location. Felt very safe.
- 5/5
So luxe, perfect location, amazing service. Such a delight!
- 5/5
A beautiful property that’s well located in the heart of the historic district. Very friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere especially the bar area by the pool. This is the best and only place to stay in Savannah for a civilized and relaxing stay.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay there and there are no negative comments. There is no buffet style breakfast and did not use the hotel for our breakfast. It is located in a nice area across from a large park. The valet parking was well staffed and fast. I can recommend this hotel highly.
- 3/5
The hotel was really unique and beautiful. The VIP benefits were OK. We got a $50 credit to use on the property and it got moved to only 100 because the pool and everything was closed and we only knew about that within 24 hours of our reservation, which was pretty unfortunate because that was one of the reasons why we decided to pick that property and then also for the yoga class. It was not outside or in this big Area as advertised. It was in a ballroom and the Pilates class that I signed up for was canceled so that didn’t even happen also and the yoga class wasn’t outside either. There was some bad weather but other days it could’ve worked I think the property could’ve done much more to make up for the fact of the pool being unusable. They did say we would get a late check out and a $50 extra but I let them know at check-in that I’m an Expedia gold member and a late checkout early check-in room upgrade and credit is actually already part of my benefits for being an Expedia gold member so it really didn’t seem like they were going above and beyond
- 5/5
Was a great experience overall, the hotel normally will charge for early check-in and late check-out but as we were VIP members with hotels.com that came complimentary. Downstairs lobby bar was very nice and the drinks were as well - the restaurant next door was also amazing. we only stayed one night, but wish we would have stayed longer. Everything was immaculate.
- 3/5
Beautiful hotel rights across from a nice park outside the main hub of old town Savannah. They had a DJ in the bar on the Friday night we were there which we were not aware of, so when we tried to go sleep at 10 pm we could not fall asleep due to the thumping base coming from the bar. Otherwise a comfortable room with beautiful decor in room and lobby.
- 5/5
Amazing stay all around! Great staff! Will be back.
- 5/5
Best Hotel in Savannah hands down
- 5/5
Quieter than staying by the river (old town), with a huge park across the street, trolly pick up a half block away. Staff was friendly, helpful--really cozy, romantic bar.
- 5/5
Beautiful property. Excellent location .
- 5/5
This was a perfect weekend getaway. We enjoyed the spa, the bar and the Bardo club. Great location and excellent staff.
- 5/5
We absolutely had the best stay at Hotel Bardo! It is a gorgeous property in the best location right on Forsyth Park. We also were easily able to walk to City Market and the riverfront. The service, the rooms, the staff, and the property is 10/10! We also ate at Saint Bibiana, which was one of the best dinners we have had in a long time. Thank you Hotel Bardo for an amazing weekend!
- 5/5
Great place and great staff.
- 5/5
Perfect hotel for a romantic getaway. Almost every room has a soaking tub. Room service is excellent and valet was quick.
- 5/5
Can not say enough about this property. The location is fantastic, service not notch, beautiful facilities. And the most amazing poolside French fries you’ve ever had.
- 3/5
But the price of the room was extremely high, the only thing that was included was a very sad continental breakfast. For the $700 price for one night you would think there would have some things included or a turn down service. The valet alone was an additional $60. We were also disappointed to learn the restaurant was closed down for remodeling. We had a nice time, the place is beautiful, I just can’t justify the price for what you get.
- 5/5
Staff was always friendly and helpful, area around the hotel was clean and safe. Very beautiful place for a quiet escape
- 5/5
Property is beautiful. They keep the hotel and grounds clean. Staff is exceptionally nice. Would come back!
- 5/5
A stunning luxury property that is a must if in the area. Amazing staff and amazing room.
- 5/5
Parking (valet only) is expensive. Otherwise park on nearby streets.
- 5/5
Great location and the staff was amazing. Very helpful, informative and went out of their way to make our stay great.
- 5/5
Very warm welcome efficient staff gorgeous hotel
- 5/5
Hotel Bardo and Club Bardo are always a lovely experience. The staff everywhere on the grounds are awesome! We especially love Larissa at the Club!
- 2/5
Service was lacking..
- 5/5
Excellent location, great staff, excellent property
- 5/5
Very good location, friendly staff, clean, open and beautiful rooms. Nice breakfast option. Hotel feels special
- 4/5
Delightful hotel. Spacious room. Great staff. The coffee in the morning is wonderful .. addictive even. Had dinner at the restaurant on Christmas Eve [seven fishes] which was very disappointing.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Lovely property by the park. Staff was amazing.
- 5/5
We were in town for our belated anniversary trip. I surprised my wife with a suite, a visit to the spa and dinner at the hotel restaurant. We had an amazing two days away from home and it was the perfect reset!
- 5/5
Breakfast needs to improve thanks
- 5/5
Beautiful design and decor.
- 5/5
Phenomenal architecture and decorating, beautiful grounds, the best service ever !! Try the Saltgrass Spa for a massage, also the best massage I have ever had.
- 5/5
The location is great. Staff is wonderful. Our room was really nice.
- 5/5
It was the perfect place for a girls weekend getaway!
- 5/5
Very nice property pleasant stay
- 5/5
Amazing property and friendly staff - everything felt very comfortable and calm. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
- 5/5
Lovely location and comfortable rooms
- 5/5
Great amenities and location!
- 5/5
The Bardo was perfectly located for our stay. We love to walk each morning and Forsyth park and fountains were just across the street. The hotel pool is too cute not to visit for a relaxing nap. The staff were all top notch and very helpful. We also enjoyed the restaurant.
- 5/5
This place was perfect for an adult getaway. On the edge of town in a charming neighborhood but walkable to downtown. Equal parts charming/quaint and modern/hip. Restaurant great.
- 5/5
The Bardo is absolutely stunning. We only stayed for one night and really wish we could have been there for longer! The staff were so lovely and attentive. The room was impeccable: beautifully decorated and with a huge bath! Even though our room faced onto the street, it was really quiet and the bed could not have been comfier. The pool area is lovely, and they have a great selection of smaller bites and drinks. The location could not be better either! The complimentary continental breakfast was a great treat (the pastries were delicious). I cannot imagine there is anywhere better to stay in Savannah!
- 5/5
Lovely weekend getaway
- 5/5
While the inside is lovely it is the pool area including bar and outdoor seating that really sells this hotel. It has a fun vibe and on a hot afternoon is a lovely place to relax, order a drink and just enjoy Savannah. The hotel is in a nice location although probably a 20 minute walk to the river/historic area. Highly recommend the trolly which stops right near the hotel!
- 5/5
Beautiful facility and conveniently located. We highly recommend.
- 5/5
Friendly helpful staff, delicious food, comfy luxurious room and beautiful view of Forsythe Park, complimentary & excellent yoga & Pilates
- 5/5
Absolutely beautiful.
- 5/5
We had an overall lovely stay at the Hotel Bardo this week. The buildings and rooms are absolutely gorgeous as well as the pool, although it was quite crowded with guests not staying there on the weekend. The staff was all lovely and very helpful. The location is perfect. The only disappointment was that our view of was of the garbage area of the back of the hotel when we’d paid extra for the style of room we had (this was a trip for both my moms and my birthday)…let down to have to keep the curtains drawn the whole time.
- 5/5
I came seeking refuge after hurricane Helene and didn’t want to leave. The staff was amazing, the property perfectly serene and hip at the same time and the regular room felt like a suite. The restaurant was fabulous and so was the bar, breakfast, pool, etc. I plan on making this my go to stay in Savannah.
