Reviews
The hotel is praised for its excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, and clean rooms. However, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the breakfast, housekeeping services, and certain amenities such as the pool and valet parking.
- Excellent location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Breakfast quality and variety
- Inconsistent housekeeping services

Everything was great. Only suggestion...it would be nice to have some food available in the evening, maybe appetizers in the bar area to purchase.

Our stay was wonderful. All the staff very helpful. And right across from River St.
- 5/5
The stay was excellent 💕
- 2/5
Room was dusty and had cobwebs. No cups in the room. They messed up the reservation. The pool was closed the entire time we were there.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 4/5
I liked how close it is to everything and the public parking is next door which is so much cheaper. I didn’t like that there was not a coffee maker in room.
- 5/5
Great room and staff. Room wasn’t ready till 6pm but it was a holiday weekend and we were able to leave our bags in the office while we explored the city
- 5/5
My husband and I spent the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the hotel staff were excellent, but especially Miss Gail at the breakfast buffet and Miss Wanda at the front desk. Everything was clean, our standard-sized room was spacious, and the bed extremely comfortable. The sole, minor negative was that one of the two elevators went out of service during our stay. Otherwise, it was top notch and we will definitely be back.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4.5/5
Location One elevator broke down that made for a longer wait and crowded trips up to rooms.
- 4/5
The biggest inconvenience was the elevator was inop. Everything else was good. Great location. Near all kinds of stores, restaurants, and bars
- 5/5
Historic center of Savannah a block from the famous Pink House restaurant
- 5/5
Lovely overnight stay
- 5/5
Great location across the street from river street, make sure to bring good walking shoes. In historic section of town and many shops coffee shops specialty stores and restaurants
- 5/5
Location is perfect, trolly across the street, river st right across st. You can get all tickets at hotel. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Restaurants within walking distance. Only issue our room wasn’t cleaned in 3 days.. had to ask for towels.
- 5/5
The location is excellent. Can walk everywhere. Concierge was very helpful in booking excursions. Breakfast options were good and liked that coffee is available 24 hours and fresh brewed. Valet parking staff was great. We will definitely come back.
- 5/5
The breakfast was fresh and there were many choices. The parking attendants were great, but I would have liked to understand that my ONLY option was parking with a Valet. That was not clear when I booked through Travelocity.
- 4.5/5
Ms Gail was exceptional. She is so good at her job Swimming pool was closed
- 2/5
Also we selected you because of the pool and the hot tub, per request of our 11 year old. Both were unavailable starting on Friday-Monday of our stay.
- 5/5
I loved being so close to the Savannah River and being able to just walk over to the River Walk area. Also, it was close to a number of Historic places. Great location!
- 5/5
Clean room, breakfast included it, and hotel is in a great location.
- 4/5
Mrs. Sharon and Abby was most pleasant and very helpful when we arrived. If I was going to say anything else, it would be to add fresh fruit to the breakfast bar :) otherwise so satisfied.
- 4/5
Great location for exploring the historic district. Our room had a small balcony overlooking River Street buildings and the river. Unfortunately it seems E Bay street is the main thoroughfare for all trucks and it was quite loud in the morning (use white noise). Room was comfortable and clean, bathroom floor could use a good scrub. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was as good as a complimentary breakfast gets. Valet is expensive ($48 per night) but they use the same lot that is a public lot (way cheaper to self park). I would stay there again but the Hyatt is closer to the river and a room overlooking the river would be a lot quieter I believe.
- 5/5
A view of the river.

My corner room. The elevator was not working for most of my stay.

Staff was incredibly helpful! We were able to check in early - Ms. Wanda was awesome. Additionally, the concierge from Statesboro was super friendly and incredibly helpful!
- 2/5
I decided to stay to enjoy the swimmimg pool and the rooftop, it was closed....
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Convenient location close to the river and walking distance to tour Savannah.
- 5/5
The rooms were exceptionally clean. They offered free breakfast. The concierge was very politeand welcoming. Anytime she saw us she spoke with a smile. The staff (Wanda) was wonderful. We added an early day to our original stay. We had to wait on our room for the next reservation. Wanda was on it. She called us to let us know our room was ready. Whenever she saw us, she always greeted us by name and that contagious smile. The valet service was also great. We did not have to wait long for our car when needed. Always opened the doors and greeted us with a smile. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I have stayed in many hotels. I can't name one thing I didn't like about this place. However, the iron did not work. However, it didn't diminish my love for this place.

This was the most lack luster HIE we ever stayed in. We generally like them. It seems a bit sad and the layout of the bathroom wasn’t great. The fridge couldn’t be adjusted and things kept freezing. The staff were very courteous and helpful.
- 5/5
Clean room, helpful staff, breakfast was amazing, valet parking, close to River Walk. I would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
The breakfast was great, the staff was very helpful, the hotel was very nice and in a great location. My only complaint was the bathroom shelves in the wall were slimy and hadn’t been cleaned. Other than that, we loved our stay and plan on returning.

- 3.5/5
Our first morning breakfast was ok. We didn't eat there again after that experience. Our 2nd day there were got stuck in down pour so ran to hotel around noon. Our room hadn't been serviced with clean towels so we could take showers. Phone in room didn't work so we walked down to front desk and asked for towels. It was 3 hrs later when they arrived. Loved the river views. The room was serviced every other day which was fine with us until it was well into the afternoon the clean towels and washcloths were brought. Location was fantastic. Not sure we would stay there again for the money.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing!
- 5/5
Hotel location is perfect to walk around historic district or catch trolly nearby, Helpful with booking tours or spa appointments nearby Complimentary breakfast very good Friendly staff Room was clean, comfortable and spacious

Everyone i dealt with was wonderful and helpful!. The room was clean and had what I needed.
- 5/5
This establishment is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. It is centrally located in the historic district and everything is within walking distance. The personnel were extremely nice. The complementary breakfast was great. I HIGHLY recommend staying at this hotel. Will definitely book it again if we return to Savannah, GA for a visit!!!
- 5/5
Great hotel for the Historic District. It's centrally located and our stay was pleasant. After a lot of walking, I enjoyed getting in the hot tube to relax. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
- 3/5
The property was clean and the rom was nice. The one elevator was not working for the whole time we were there. Long waiting time. Very disappointing. Our room was not cleaned every other day as we were told. I wish the bar was open everyday! Location was perfect! Front desk was very helpful with borrowing a cork screw. Overall good!
- 5/5
Great staff! Location perfect! Extremely satisfied with breakfast!
- 5/5
Excellent place great area and safe
- 5/5
Room was great and parking was a great added plus!
- 5/5
Breakfast was fresh & good. Parking attendants were very nice as I left my phone in the car and the attendant went back & found it. He deserved the tip!
- 5/5
Put the coffee pots back in the rooms
- 5/5
Perfect location.
- 5/5
The HIE was in a great location! Easy walk to various shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly! Be sure to make use of the concierge! Highly recommend public transportation! GEST was my favorite!
- 1/5
Everytime i stay at a Holiday Inn there is always something thats not working. This time it was the elevator. All these people and only 1 elevator. What a complete disaster. The time before it was the pool, the time before that it was a hot tub. Now, if i checked in and was short 10$ because my wallet isnt working, you think they would let me slide??? Im done with all these tired, ill managed holiday inns with their constant things wrong or not working issues. Not to mention the poor attitude from your front desk. The front desk makes you feel like your a bother and they just want to get their speech out of they way as fast as they can, so they can get you out of their face. Never again will i frequent any Holiday Inn in any city or state. They are all the same.
- 4/5
parkling is not good
- 3/5
Breakfast not very good
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Great breakfast. Had a loaded van due to moving I felt very safe with the parking. A wonderful location, we will be back.
- 5/5
The hotel was in a good location. It is central to the downtown historic district so most venues are walkable.
- 3/5
Clean room, friendly helpful staff, breakfast was just okay in quality.
- 5/5
Amazing customer service, the rooms were clean, valet were great.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 3/5
The valet parking ($48 per day) only had one attendant most of the time. The text that was supposed to tell them to retrieve our car told me it went through, but the valet never got it, then they told me I didn't use it correctly.
- 5/5
Great location. Very affordable.
- 2/5
I was a bit disappointed with our stay here. Parking was great and their staff were amazing But the front desk staff was very unfriendly and the room was in somewhat poor condition. We will definitely not be staying at this property again.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Very disappointed by the breakfast. Lots of offerings but fruit was gross and bruised. Bananas almost seemed like they had been frozen and thawed? Gym was very small which is fine, but very dirty. The one yoga mat they had was old and thin, when I wiped it the wipe was brown.... Clearly never cleaned or replaced. Then one of the elevators was broken the whole time and the one operational took forever, and it would make a loud noise and shake at the 4th floor. So it was packed with people Everytime and was very scary.
- 3/5
Elevator was broken which made for long lines and waits.
- 5/5
Staff, cleanliness, amenities, and location were perfect.
- 5/5
Room was clean.
- 4/5
The rooftop pool/hot tub were great and the view from up there was exceptional! Beds/linens/pillows were very nice and comfy! The staff, bar, breakfast and location were also very good. Our only complaint was the handicapped bathroom. The shower curtain was ripped and too short which let water seep all over the floor. The tile was very slippery and took hours to dry since there is no ventilation. Also, no hooks or racks on the wall to hang your towels was really inconvenient. Overall a good place to stay, just need to fix the bathroom issues for the safety of their guests.
- 4/5
room clean, but had a down elevator the whole stay, bad view from room, looked at an alley way for the cost I paid, had to call for clean towels, room never done in the 3 days I was there
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Parking garage is public and gets full. If it does, you will need to pay for valet.
- 5/5
This was a prime location, park your car in the public parking garage beside the hotel. They use the same facility much cheaper. You won’t need it from that point you can walk everywhere. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable and the amenities were in good condition. Absolutely no issues with this hotel and I would recommend it and use it again.
- 5/5
get the riverview room, its gorgeous. Lovely room, great location.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly and happy to help
- 5/5
All good Would stay again
- 5/5
Had a great stay in Savannah at this hotel. Had a problem with the toilet but they fixed it right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of choices which was also nice. Pool on the roof had an awesome view! We used public parking right next door and it wasn't very expensive. It's a great location for walking to main downtown attractions, shops, and dining. I'd definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Staff very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Valet parking was great, and the breakfast was awesome!!!
- 5/5
Was very pleased with our stay and the location in the historic district of Savannah. The hotel was clean and the staff was very pleasant and helpful when we had questions.
- 3/5
Great hotel, nice location in front of the river, mostly excellent staff but very unprofessional in handling personal items. One item was misplaced and never recovered.
- 4/5
This location was perfect for us, close to the historic sites and easy access to the river front. The hotel itself was fine. Room was standard, clean. The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were flat and hard. Breakfast was average but was served hot, fair amount of variety. Our stay was okay, not exceptional but no problems, either.
- 3/5
All in all, good experience. Carpet in our room, 314, was disgusting. Breakfast buffet was less than we expected. Try to stay in room off Bay Street as truck traffic is present all night.
- 4/5
Properly was in a great area. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel. Well located. Very nice staff. Great concierge to help with tours. Friendly everywhere Quiet well appointed room. Nice if the pool was heated but beau area and view
- 1/5
Booked on Expedia and the hotel didn’t have the rooms I booked, did not accommodate for their overbooking. Would not recommend
- 4/5
Great location. Comfortable quiet room. Great breakfast and coffee in the morning. Price was just reasonable otherwise 5 stars
- 5/5
No complaints!
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Variety breakfast
- 5/5
The hotel lobby, breakfast area and room was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful!
- 1/5
We arrived after a very long drive my husband I'm packed the car the valet took the car to go in and find out that they didn't have our room. They blamed Expedia because I booked through you but I got confirmations from them also they said the room was not guaranteed after 4:00 however their policy is that check-in is at 4:00. They did move us to another Holiday inn which was okay but the next day their water main broke and we had no water for about 10 hours
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Great location and really enjoyed the pink house tavern right around the corner
- 4/5
Ok was Ok, breakfast was basic (but complementary) but window in room wasn’t properly closing. Air and sound went through
- 5/5
I when to breakfast around 9am and it was almost empty no pancakes mix, eggs, sausage, milk, cereal. People was asking to the staff she said she is only one person and she can't put more food out.
- 4/5
The breakfast was very good!
- 3/5
The room was to have cleaning service every other day. This was not provided and had to request towels to accommodate my stay.
- 3/5
The location was a plus for us and the breakfast was good. Unfortunately, there were several stains on the floor and a cup under the bed. We didn’t feel that the hotel met our standards for cleanliness. The microwave didn’t work which was a major disappointment for kids and there were lines on the TV which made the playoff games hard to watch. Overall, average stay for us at the Holiday Inn Express Savannah Historic District.
- 3/5
The housekeeping left my door unlocked/open after cleaning. The mattresses or frame was messed up and felt like bed was leaning.
- 5/5
We had a great stay here while in Savannah. The hotel was in the perfect location to walk to everything. Breakfast was also really good both mornings. My kids loved the rooftop pool.
- 2/5
I reserved a room with pay at property through Expedia, I had an expired credit card attached to it so they cancelled my room without any notice. I received a check in confirmation email from Expedia the day before but was told at check in they canceled my room. No phone call or anything. Luckily they had another room available but be aware when booking “pay at property” as they consider these rooms available to others until you pay in full.
- 4/5
Everything was as expected
- 3/5
We stayed in the staybridge suites right before this and it was much nicer and newer. We booked a night here for the hot tub which was only about 95 degrees but perfect for our 3 year old since pools are freezing this time of year. Our room had a huge pink stain on the carpet and a broken outlet cover on the hallway wall. The beds were awful. When you sat on them, you sank right through the mattress and hit boards. Definitely time for an upgrade. We would have changed rooms for the bed quality but didn’t notice until late into the evening. Fine for 1 night but definitely wouldn’t stay again. Better choices in the area.
- 5/5
Didn’t use those
- 5/5
Breakfast needs more fresh fruits.
- 4/5
Great location. Clean. Comfortable.
- 5/5
Clean room and common areas
- 5/5
The staff members were very helpful.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Great spot located downtown Savannah. The only thing I would change is the pool. It’s kind of plain, but has an insane view. I hardly spend time at the hotels when I stay but I would stay here again if they were available
- 5/5
Friendly staff, great breakfast! Perfect location and the concierge was very knowledgeable of the area and helped us tremendously. We had one day to discover Savannah and we got to see a lot of great sites we would not have seen on our own. We cannot comment on amenities as we were out in Savannah. The room however was very spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, we had a good night sleep.
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable, good pillows, good shower, breakfast was just ok.
- 5/5
Great hotel in a convenient location to downtown historic Savannah. My husband and I had a great room overlooking the street and we were able to view the ST Patrick's Day parade from sidewalk or from our room. The Hotel is walking distance to the River Walk and to nearby bars and restaurants. This hotel offers a delicious full hot buffet breakfast. The breakfast staff as well as the front desk and concierge are all pleasant and professional.
- 5/5
Gail in breakfast room was a morning delight!
- 5/5
Excellent stay! The staff here is always amazing and friendly!!! The Boys from Boston
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
The front desk was very nice and they were very helpful and also friendly!!I will stay again!!
- 5/5
Great great location
- 3/5
Television lacks an organized channel guide and was poor satellite connection. Was essentially unusable which was disappointing. Breakfast was sparse. Ended up going out for something decent
- 5/5
The room and view were nice and the staff working the desk were very accommodating, however we waited roughly 35 minutes for the valet.
- 5/5
great
- 5/5
The hotel was nice
- 5/5
yes
- 5/5
Absolutely great staff and nice hot tub and pool on the roof top although the pool was ice cold but I particularly enjoyed it because it was like having a hot tub and a cold plunge but it’s taking kids be advised it was extremely cold it also there isn’t any close by Parking really not too far away about a 10 minute walk Rock great location. I will say that it can be a little noisy at night the traffic Riverwalk, a few times from firetrucks and ambulances driving by and cops, but it didn’t really seem to end up being a big issue.
- 3/5
First night our shower didn’t work when turning on the hot water, couldn’t get a different room until the next day. Inconvenient to not be able to shower and having to take time to repack to switch rooms.
- 5/5
We absolutely live this hotel and stay here every year when we travel to Florida. Great amenities, very walkable and great staff and view from the rooftop patio and pool!
- 5/5
Room was clean, quiet and the location was absolutely perfect
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable! The staff was great and we appreciate everything.
- 4/5
Hear the room next door go at it very clearly. good For You!
- 3/5
No water offered in room and coffee maker did not work. Coffee offered in lobby, but having room option was part of our decision to stay. Balcony was a lovely view. Bed was decent and they did have down pillows. Valet was expensive at $48/night. Bathroom did not have privacy fan. TV guide did not work, so when it rained we had to blindly scroll. Bar is not really a bar and no foos except ice cream for purchase in a cooler. VERY much an "express".
- 5/5
The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty. The location is perfect for seeing historic Savannah.
- 5/5
Very nice. Easy walk to places.
- 4/5
all good but the air conditioning didn't work
- 5/5
Great location in the North Historic District with valet parking. Courteous staff and clean and comfortable surroundings.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable , staff was very friendly and helpful. Sandra was extremely helpful assisting with arranging our itinerary. She’s very knowledgeable about so many different events , exhibits and restaurants in the area.
- 5/5
Check in was great!! Francois was a delight! Very professional, friendly and expressed a demeanor that really made me feel welcome! A great asset to the Savannah Team!
- 5/5
Great location to everything.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing, the room, breakfast, parking, concierge and especially the front desk staff.
- 5/5
Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Only issue was hall noise(voices) sounded like were inside the room. Excellent location across the street from trolley stop #5. Very walkable area from River Street to Forsyth Park safe and clean.
- 5/5
Staff and amenities
- 4/5
YES
- 5/5
Muy buena atencion
- 5/5
1. Least expensive - meter street. 2. Mid-cost option - near by parking garages. 3. On facility Valet - $48 and up. That is very expensive for someone staying overnight. Make the parking situation clear in marketing to manage expectations.
- 4/5
Staff was great and the room was clean
- 3/5
Room was clean, customer service great, however its downtown and the parking is tricky especially at night in the parking garage. Approx 20 dollars for over night parking cost.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Perfect location
- 5/5
Staff was great! Room was clean. Locatin was ideal.
- 3/5
Our room was on the street side and was horribly noisy. Other options to Valet parking was not mentioned and was a huge expense added to an already expensive room and tipping. With that said, room was nice, staff friendly, valet folks very personable and timely, breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
Room was spacious and comfortable.
- 5/5
Thw eo2was nic and clean
- 5/5
Room was spotless and the staff was great. Excellent location!
- 4/5
clean room, new amenities in bathroom, there are always hot water and coffee in common area. But the Valet Parking is not good. The driver didn't konw how to drive my Tesla, so my husband ended up parking it himself.
- 5/5
Hotel is very clean and location could not be better. Situated in the heart of historic Savannah, everything is walking distance. The staff were extremely friendly and professional.
- 5/5
The hotel was in a great location, easy to walk to all destinations from. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and personable. We were able to check in early and they held our bags for us on check out. Clean, rooms were comfortable. Would return and would recommend.
- 3/5
Water from the shower didn’t drain properly & ran onto the bathroom floor. The hotel didn’t do anything about this safety issue except bring me extra towels to soak up the water on the bathroom floor.
- 5/5
wonderful suggestions, pleasant staff, easy check-in, rooms are always comfortable and clean, in a busy city somehow it’s quiet inside so we sleep well, close to River Street and all of the restaurants, good breakfast in the morning, and even the small bar for some adult beverages!
- 5/5
Very clean very nice staff
- 5/5
First time traveling solo. Hotel staff were professional, courteous and extremely helpful for someone who had a lot of "dumb" questions. Room was spotless and free breakfast buffet every morning was delicious and had a lot of variety. I would highly recommend this hotel and will most definitely be staying there again when I visit Savannah again.
- 3/5
The hotel are supposedly going to do something about it, but ironically they said they’d call us but we are still waiting, that was 2 days ago. The hotel itself was lovely.
- 5/5
Excellent location, great staff, ckean, comfortable rooms
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. Checking in was seamless, as was the valet parking. The room was spotless with plenty of clean towels. The staff, no matter what time of day or night, were friendly and professional. Whatever questions you may have, they have the answers. The concierge in the lobby handled all our excursions and reservations right there and secured discounts on most of the tickets we purchased. If it were up to me, I'd give them all a raise in pay. The location is perfect; you are within walking distance of everywhere you may want to visit while in Savannah.
- 5/5
Fantastic
- 4/5
Clean, Comfortable rooms
- 5/5
Great spacious room. Clean, great location and wonderful staff and concierge
- 4/5
Check in was slow- you’d think they would have more than one clerk checking people in at 4pm. When we finally got checked in the clerk was very nice!Nice room, bathroom sink super slow draining, towels pretty rough! Great location!
- 5/5
All was great in my 1 night stay. Clean room, awesome rooftop hot tub in pool area and above all the nicest front desk staff I've enountered in a long while - Shivon, Abby and Wanda. Thank you.
- 5/5
Great location, very clean, friendly staff, nice pool roof deck.
- 5/5
Location was great. Food was yummy and concierge was very helpful with ideas for things to do.
- 3/5
the room cleanliness, mainly the bathroom
- 5/5
Location, clean room, friendly and helpful staff
- 5/5
The location on Bay Street is perfect for downtown Savannah—close to everything, easy to walk, and right in the heart of the historic district. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and exactly what you want after a long day of traveling or sightseeing. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming, which makes a huge difference. You can tell they care about their guests. From check-in to check-out, everything runs smoothly. This has become one of our go-to places when we’re in Savannah, and we confidently recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Reliable, comfortable, and consistent—exactly why we keep coming back.
- 5/5
The room was clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful, especially the concierge.
- 5/5
Great locations, clean rooms and really nice staff.
- 4/5
Clean and friendly staff
- 5/5
Great experience staying here. Pleasant helpful staff, free breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms.
- 5/5
Great location. Parking garage next door will save you oarking fees. Great friendly services. Very happy with our stay.
- 5/5
Mostly clean and spotless. My shower door didn’t close all the way and my fridge door only closed with a lot of pressure. Other than that the stay was great
- 4/5
Typical breakfast at this type of hotel. Picky on my part but never seem to have enough bananas.
- 5/5
The front staff was friendly and knowledgeable about my state tax exemption form. Many hotel associates are not familiar *I still haven't settled up yet but I'll let you know tomorrow
- 5/5
Very centrally located!
- 5/5

- 5/5

Great Stay!

This is not a business location, only tourists. Breakfast service stops at precisely 9:30 not a minute later. Most vacationers are rolling in after 8 with a crush of diners after 9 am resulting in chaotic event. They ran out many food items by 9 am during our three days. Frustrating since this is an expensive location and HEI features breakfast. They need to extend breakfast to 10 or 10:30 since vacationers have no urgency to get up early. 2) This is a high rise. As such, the fire code is more strict. However, ownership and city inspectors have failed to enforce the basic smoke control requirements. The doors are in violation of the International Building Code. There are no smoke seals on the doors. This means that any fire event will allow smoke to enter any and all rooms. Very dangerous. Won't stay there again. If you do stay make sure you have a room close to stairs and on lower floor. 3) They have valet parking for $45-$48 power night and adjacent parking lot is around $20 for each exit. More expensive than other HEI and add crazy parking fee to the bill. Best option is too stay outside of the downtown area and simply drive in and pay street parking before 5 pm.

The beds were cozy, and the bathroom was good. Perfect location. We loved the breakfast choices of food and the staff was nice and helpful. The pool was great and great view.

- 5/5
Great breakfast, clean and spacious rooms! Loved being able to use the pool and hot tub! Staff was great and very friendly.
- 3/5
Daniel with the Valet was on point and took care of my fiance's truck. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The lobby is nice, outside of hotel is nice, quick walk across the street to the river front. The room itself was not bad, however the sink in bathroom was slow to drain, there was no ironing board in the room and I noticed blonde hair in the bed,the breakfast wasn't bad, one of the elevators had tape around the control board

- 5/5
Staff was great the room was great and breakfast
- 4/5
Took a long time to get hot water to the room.
- 5/5
Things to be improved: Balcony rooms facing river were pretty noisy and would have benefited from some more soundproofing (or at least a provided pair of earplugs) to block out street noise. Breakfast was not great.
- 3/5
Hotel is in a good area. Remarkable to a lot of places. The room was very clean and modern the bed was comfortable had a nice view of the river. The refrigerator and microwave is a plus along with the safe. The staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was subpar, with limited options.
- 3/5
Shower was not working properly. And low staff during peak breakfast time. The personnel handling breakfast demand did the best they could do… kudos to them.
- 5/5
Staff was very welcoming and excellent location
- 5/5
Location was perfect very close to the riverwalk and very convenient for restaurants walk through and transportation.
- 5/5
Yes, clean room, very courteous check in
- 5/5
I loved this facility, and the friendly and courteous staff made our stay absolutely wonderful. Everyone from the front desk staff to the valet parking attendant made this a memorable stay for is. Will certainly stay at this same hotel for our next visit.
- 5/5
Nice location and rooms were clean plus nice breakfast - jacuzzi was awesome during cold weather!!!
- 1/5
They says no reservations
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful. Will stay here again.
- 5/5
Stay was excellent. Great room with a balcony, and very friendly staff. The pool and hot tub on the roof were very enjoyable, and the gym was easy to use. The location is incredible. Easy walking to the river and restaurants. DO NOT VALET. A public parking garage is located DIRECTLY BEHIND the property (charge was $10 for one night).
- 5/5
Great staff Great rooms Great breakfast
- 5/5
We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express Downtown Savannah. Everything met our expectations, and we were very satisfied with our experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere made our stay pleasant and stress-free. We truly have no complaints and would happily stay here again when visiting Savannah.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
Great location, great amenities, friendly staff.
- 5/5
The room was spacious and spotless, everyone was friendly and courteous!
- 5/5
We were here in December, it as cool temperature wise and did not realize the pool is not heated. Went to het into the hot tub and it was cold, they did not know that it was not working, and began trying to fix it.
- 4/5
Everything was great, except the bed. It was as hard as a board. The valet staff was exceptionally good as was the concierge.
- 2/5
The staff was above par, but our room had a very dirty, smeared all over chaise and before we checked out, there a tiny cockroach on the counter in our room.

- 4/5
At check in I was accommodated courteously and professionally!! The Breakfast Buffet needs some new equipment and needs a new and upgraded approach to self service!!! Many breakfast areas in many different hotel chains are very quite the same.
- 5/5
All the employees were nice. The room was clean. The breakfast was delicious.
- 4/5
The room was great, breakfast staff excellent. Room service was the WORST. No garbage pickup or fresh towels over 4 days. Got toilet paper, tissue paper and fresh towels from gym/pool area.
- 5/5
Great rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff, right across the street from river walk! Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Very happy with the service
- 5/5
The hot and pool atra waa amazing
- 4/5
Seems like the Hotel just did some major renovations and the atmosphere was very nice. There was a paint smell in the room but I am sure that will dissipate
- 4/5
Bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful in letting us borrow an umbrella for the day

Spotless and comfortable room. Amazing location. The cleaning and food staff are beyond pleasant, a big reason I would come back to this location.
- 4/5
Pool and hot tub. My only complaint was breakfast (complimentary) limited choices and subpar food. It was also cold. If there was a microwave down there it would have made up for it. Most hotels have microwaves in breakfast area.
- 5/5
We were lucky. We got a large room with a view of the water and boats pulling in and out. Loved watching TV and eating peach cobbler in bed as we fell asleep. Great staff, great breakfast, great locus. Recommend.
- 5/5
Everything was great!!

Sandra was awesome! Nice room layout. Everthing was neat and clean. Hot free breakfast was great. Location is great...neat and clean
- 5/5
Nice rooms, great view, friendly staff.
- 4/5
Their valet system is very practical, as you just text in advance and your car arrives in 20 or 30 minutes. Checkout at 11am is Amazing. Room with plenty of outlets, which is excellent. Two bad things: breakfast ends at 9:30 am. We went down at 9:05 am and there was no more food. The pancake machine wasn't working well, but after several minutes waiting in line it finally started working. We waited for the kitchen employee to bring more food, and instead of putting it on the counter, she served us herself, which I found very embarrassing because she was adjusting the number of eggs. My daughter had to wait standing for more than 15 minutes until the sausages were ready. It felt awful to be begging for food. So we decided to eat out the next day. The bathtub was clogged, and even though it was a reservation for 4 people, there were only 3 towels. This is so frustrating. Mattress and pillow rating: 7.5 Regardless of anything, I would go back again.
- 5/5
Great location. Super friendly staff.
- 5/5
very clean good location
- 5/5
Perfect location for tourists in Savannah
- 5/5
Great room and very walkable to river and main streets.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Spacious rooms. Nearby cheaper parking. Clean rooms. Overall-great value!
- 5/5
No complaints! Perfect location with great restaurants next to it
- 5/5
Every was good
- 5/5
overall nice experience!
- 5/5
The ladies at the desk were so friendly especially Wanda! Very helpful and also the valet parking was great and the breakfast was delicious and the lady there was awesome!
- 5/5
Room was updated and close to everything.
- 5/5
Great location. Valet parking crew were great. Room was a bit small but comfortable.
- 3/5
The breakfast was cold, no matter what time we ate. Cold, not just not hot. The room was clean. I liked having coffee or tea 24/7. The only person who seemed friendly was the concierge who helped us with the tours.
- 3/5
Great location but weak on the breakfast. HVAC didn’t work in the rooms either.
- 5/5
No complaints. Top notch!
- 2/5
Great location. Unfortunately this is the only good thing I can say about this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights, the AC was having “major issues” as the staff person told us when we asked why our room wasn’t cooling off. Long story short the AC never worked in our room. We definitely will be returning to Savannah, but we will not be staying at this hotel.
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Awesome rooftop pool area. Complimentary breakfast was fantastic
- 4/5
We had a nice clean room for the 3 days we stayed. Areas around the property seemed a bit sketchy so make sure to keep aware and vigilant when walking around after dark. We didn't get to use the pool or fitness center but they seemed clean.
- 2/5
Bed was uncomfortable. Too Soft. Did not sleep well.
- 1/5
When we arrived there was a hole in the lobby ceiling and water was pouring out of it. Therefore, we had no water for a period of time; which we understood was the fault of no one

- 5/5
So I’d recommend this hotel. It is geographically it’s in the middle of a lot, but not in the main area of town where so noisy and more congested. A lot of roads are closed for work on the street so it’s kind of hard to get around. You have to know which way to go because there’s a lot of one-way streets. and congested you can’t do much .amazalso.
- 5/5
Our room was very nice and comfortable. The roof top pool has a stunning view! Breakfast by Gail was delicious. When we got there they had water gushing from the ceiling in the lobby. Everyone was very appoligetic and did all they could to get it fixed quickly. The water was off for a while but it wasn't too long. All in all it was a lovely time in Savannah.
- 5/5
Very nice room for a stop over in Savannah on our way home to Florida
- 5/5
A wonderful concierge lady. Very helpful
- 4/5
We had to go back to the lobby twice (different days) because our key cards didn’t work and our room was on the 6th floor. I wish we would have a coffee machine in the room. Bed was great and husband appreciated the large TV. Breakfast was alright. The egg station was empty most of the time. The pork sausage links were good. There was only sugar free grape jelly. There was no cream cheese. Coffee machine was great. Great location.
- 5/5
Clean Room, Courteous staff and ease of Check in and check out.
- 5/5
Location, customer service and everything offered was exactly what we needed.
- 3/5
It was good, but there was a lot of noise from the outside road.
- 4/5
Good experience. Breakfast staff was great as was the concierge. Every other day cleaning is ok but we left our room with the maid right outside our door and told her we would be gone for hours. Returned 3 hours later and room had not been cleaned. So we asked for new towels and called it a day. A little disappointing!
- 3/5
The room was fine. The location was excellent. The breakfast room was not as fancy as the photos on the website made it look. One of the two elevators had a control panel held on with duck tape. When we checked in there was a problem with the computer so keys could not be made. However, they did store our luggage safely when we came in before check in time and called us when the room was ready, and stored our luggage again when we checked out. Concierge was very helpful. Overall a good experience.
- 3/5
We were assigned a room and given electronic keys. When we opened the room another guest was already in it. I was beyond mortified that we walked in on him. Thankfully he was dressed. When we went to the desk they acted like it was no big deal and barely even said sorry. After talking to other staff and patrons it seems this is a regular occurrence at this hotel. We just kept the security lock on when in the room and hoped no one came in when we were gone. The location was very good and walking distance from everything. If you are on the street side of the hotel it is quite loud due to large amounts of traffic but is does die down a bit later at night. The rooms and common areas were very clean and housekeeping was seen all day keeping things tidy.
- 5/5
Very nice. Very accommodating. Front desk is the best
- 5/5
Room was fabulous, Front Desk woman at check in on Nov 5 went above and beyond. I am so sorry I didn't catch her name. Please, please make sure her mgr knows and reward her with something nice.
- 4/5
Great location. Rooms were a little dated. Staff was extremely friendly.

The staff was helpful and courteous. They were there to help with whatever I needed. The house keeping was excellent. This is my 2nd stay and I was very pleased.
- 5/5
Location is great!!
- 5/5
Pleasant staff, clean rooms, lobby, and dining room.
- 5/5
easy to book hotel last minute
- 4/5
Very good hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Cleaning not daily but every other day. Exercise room leaves a lot to be desired.
- 2/5
Easily one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. The space appeared crammed, the toilet backed up while my family and I stayed there. The front desk was helpful in getting the rooms swapped.
- 5/5
The room was clean; comfortable beds. Breakfast menu had healthy options!
- 5/5
The entire staff is great, and the location is fantastic for the price paid!
- 5/5
It was nice. Staff very friendly
- 5/5
Super friendly staff. Parking a little tricky but otherwise great
- 5/5
It was clean, comfortable and convenient. My only issue was tv cut in and out and the toilet paper roll fell off the wall. Breakfast was also slapping.
- 5/5
Loved our stay here! Hotel is very clean, rooms are large, and staff is very friendly. Location is 10/10 right in the heart of the North Historic District.
- 5/5
The front desk ladies and the concierge were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is very conveniently located. I would definitely go there again if in Savannah.
- 4/5
the breakfast area and dining room was the cleanest I have seen for breakfast service. You could tell that they took great pride in it. the food served was nice and hot and well cooked.
- 4/5
Concierge was amazing. Front desk was good. Hot tub was not working, which was disappointing. My shower didn’t have conditioner, but overall was a very good experience.
- 5/5
Loved our room and balcony. Close to the riverfront.
- 5/5
Pleasant and helpful staff from valet to front desk to concierge to breakfast help
- 4/5
Hotel is close to everything
- 3/5
Breakfast was tasteless.
- 4/5
Discrepancy in bill was resolved quickly by hotel manager
- 5/5
Every body from the girls working behind the desk to the valet guys and girls where awsome
- 4/5
More gluten free options. Room was small but adequate. Dresser drawers could have been wiped better, found hair in a couple.
- 5/5
We will be back!
- 4/5
We loved the location. Service was good. Check in was very slow, but the desk team was very nice. The concierge was great with recommendations. The hotel is older and is showing wear and tear. The elevators were quite slow - the panel in one of the elevators was taped on with duct tape.
- 2/5
The Staff was very nice and accommodating and the location was great. The room was nice but the air conditioner didn't work, so after we had unpacked we had to move. On the 2nd day they ran out of regular coffee and only had decaf but had coffee downstairs but none for the rooms. They had a vending machine on our floor and tried to get water but it wasn't working so we went to the front desk and told them we wanted to buy some water but they only had soda's and gatorade. So late at night we had to walk 15 minutes each way to CVS
- 5/5
Everything met my expectations
- 5/5
Clean very close to everything and our view was amazing!!! Great price would definitely stay there again.👍
- 5/5
Hoping for a few more selections at breakfast
- 4/5
The location was perfect otherwise.
- 5/5
Courteous and friendly staff!
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Basic hotel breakfast buffet with pancake machine.
- 4/5
Location is amazing!
- 5/5
Hotel was great - and the concierge Sandra was wonderful! Hotel is in a great location - trolley stop is right outside the front doors and lots of restaurants, sites etc within walking distance. Would def stay there again.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Very nice hotel and room, friendly staff, and great location for walking around in Savannah. First visit to Savannah, but will be back.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff.
- 5/5
Great stay! Comfortable rooms, great service and staff
- 4/5
Very good place to stay perfect location… the only bad thing was the room was not ready at 4pm so we had to wait Uhhh
- 4/5
Clean property. Friendly staff. Staffed information desk was a plus. Lobby is small which led to cramped check-in. Elevators were being used by service staff and used to transport carts of trash from room service through the lobby. 4 PM check-in is not as convenient as 3 PM at neighboring hotels. $48 valet parking is pretty steep.
- 5/5
So wonderful!
- 5/5
Delightful!
- 2/5
Checked in room and face towels were dirty and unfolded. Kindly asked for new ones… never came. We stayed in same room for 4 nights (5 days) and despite asking to, room was never cleaned, trash bins never emptied and never got our clean face towels and had towels. Everything else was okay… but this was upsetting. Dove soaps are good quality though and smell nice.
- 4/5
Stayed 3 nights only got breakfast 1 morning. As there was no where to sit, no bread to make toast hot food was empty, was told by staff that there was no more.
- 3/5
Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Food was unevenly cooked and repetitive. Stale bread and stale bagels.
- 3/5
Ran out of things at breakfast. Hot food pans were broken so had to have someone hold it up while I served my food. Valet was great but could have self-parked next door cheaper.
- 4/5
Great location and view from Riverside but a lot of noise from traffic and 18 wheelers. Take a sound machine. Rooftop pool is very nice and the gazebo was lovely. Concierge was very helpful and friendly. Front desk and breakfast staff were not friendly and one lady was very rude when I asked about reward details. Breakfast staff ignored me totally and shook her head when I asked if there would be any refills. Got a ding on my car with Valet parking. Overall a great place to walk to all areas of downtown. Clean and really good overall.
- 5/5
Great staff. Great location. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Convenient location. Nice room with a beautiful view! Wonderful breakfast
- 5/5
The location is perfect for walking around the city and riverfront. The staff is very nice and took care of us. The lady that runs the breakfast is one of the nicest people you could meet. We all had a great time.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
The staff was great. Friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The elevator is the only thing that really needs attention - worn out and the one had control panel with floor buttons duct taped together. That should really be fixed asap. Otherwise, I can't complain at all - it was great location on Bay Street right across from the river and easy walk to everything.
- 3/5
Hotel was very clean, staff was very polite and courteous. Had a small billing issue where multiple charges were on our card that shouldn’t be. Staff is working to get issue corrected. As long as charges drop off like we were told they would, it shouldn’t be a big deal. Valet parking staff needs more help. Valet Parking is a convenience service. We waited 20+ minutes for our vehicle multiple times. This made a $50 per day service very inconvenient. Valet staff was very nice and we’re doing the best they could. They just need more people.
- 5/5
Loved the location, friendly staff
- 5/5
Convenient location to the riverfront. Room was clean and family friendly. We could use more towels for a family of 4, only left 3 in the room (borrowed pool towels). The view in photo is from 9th floor pool deck which our room was on second floor with view to restaurants. Parking valet was excellent, friendly and fast. Breakfast was wonderful everyday! Family loved the pancake maker!

Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly! Very nice rooms!
- 5/5
Awesome hospitality and service.
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 4/5
the breakfast choices need an upgrade. It's been the same breakfast for 10 years (at the whole chain). the breakfast team working at this location was excellent.
- 4/5
Pool was too cold for swimming and jets weren’t strong in hot tub.
- 5/5
The lady at the front with tourists info was excellent!
- 4/5
Great location friendly front desk nice restaurants near by. But the panel to select the floors in one of the elevator was attach with duct tape to the wall of the elevator.
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 4/5
our 1st person we met was Dwight, everyone should have a "Dwight" in their lives. Professional - kind - informative. All points of interest are walkable. We saw 80% in 2 full days. Just a thought when housekeeper comes to room, please refill toilet paper.
- 5/5
Very close to lots of dining options. Was not comfortable walking around at night because of the homeless population right there.
- 5/5
Beautiful room, very helpful staff
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Wanda was so kind and full of enthusiasm.
- 5/5
Excellent location!!!
- 5/5
Convenient. Pool. Breakfast available.
- 1/5
The service as well as the valet parking was terrible. The room smelled of mold
- 2/5
First, it took the front desk forever to check me in- initially into the wrong room; secondly, they checked us out on the wrong day, causing our room to be cleaned out of some of our things, then they messed up our room keys, and were rude about all of that the entire time. Then they didn’t tell us that their parking fee was actually a valet service- causing us to pay extra money and unnecessary inconveniences. The valets hovered over us and rushed us out of our car whenever we arrived, one even insisted that we couldn’t access our own car without them getting it for us, and took long amounts of time to retrieve it. Also, the concierge messed up our dinner reservation by making it for the wrong night and we almost couldn’t get dinner. In short- don’t book this place through a third party, don’t get the valet service- park your own car, and don’t bother with the concierge- do your own research into dining options.
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay and the staff offered excellent service.
- 4/5
It was a good experience. Included breakfast was excellent. Room cleaning service could be better but was acceptable. Bed is very comfortable. Savannah downtown have a lot of options and hotel location is excellent.
- 5/5
Ms Gail in the breakfast area was wonderful!!!
- 5/5
Everyone was so accommodating. Rooms were great and roof top view was breathtaking. Great place without the great place prices ❤️
- 4/5
Great stay overall. It’s in the middle of everything.
- 5/5
The valet parking was well worth not having to worry about your vehicle being safe and being available when needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Savannah Historic District.
- 5/5
Hotel was very nic2, employees all very friendly. Concierge was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Hotl is in a main road so certain times of the day it can be a tad bit noisy but great location. Great rooftop pool. Would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Its a great location. Staff is very friendly. We asked to watch a football game in the breakfast area on Sunday and we were told yes by the desk clerk. When we asked that evening the saud the would get maintenance to turn on the tv and no one showed up.
- 3/5
Property is nice, clean, etc.. We called early in the day and asked for possible early check in. We were told they would call us when our room was ready. We received no call so went at check-in time (4pm). Everyone else in line to check in got their room, ours was STILL not ready. Fortunately only had to wait another 20 min or so. We put our things in our room and went up to check out the pool...it was literally 'green' and a staff member was attempting to clean it. We checked again the next morning, now the pool was closed. The front desk told us it would be open at Noon. Alas, still closed at 4pm. The following day, our last day, we asked for a late check-out with hopes of still enjoying the pool before we left. We were told no late checkouts available and that the pool was STILL closed. I was coming off of a very tiring business meeting we specifically booked this property to use the pool during our stay. VERY disappointing - would not book again.
- 5/5
Loved it all! The staff were all friendly & accomodating. The breakfast was great. Beds were comfortable. All was great!
- 5/5
Everyone was fantastic! Perfect location. Will stay here again next time we are in town. Highly recommend. Can walk everywhere, evening entertainment on the same block. Rooms were quiet and very clean.
- 5/5
The hotel was very accessible and comfortable. Very close to everything
- 5/5
Great value. Excellent location. Nice breakfast. Coffee all day. Small bar for convenience. Staff helpful and accommodating
- 5/5
The staff and service were exceptional. The staff made sure you felt welcome. The hotel was in close proximity to River Street.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice but very hard to find. It says the address is E Bay Street but the sign actually on Abercorn so it was very hard to find. Everything at the hotel was nice. Breakfast was ok but for a picky eater there was t anything for me - just plain scrambled eggs or an English muffin would be fine
- 5/5
I booked the hotel site unseen, but it ended up being in the perfect area with a great location accessible to everything. Breakfast every morning was included, and the staff was always professional and on point. I would definitely stay there again, not to mention parking is so easy and right behind the building. Great job by your staff.❤️
- 5/5
I love the location
- 4/5
Everything by was good and would likely stay again. Location is great, breakfast area nice and good options. Went to pool on roof one afternoon, great views to look out over Savannah. Has a cute shaded sitting area. The gym is small with only 3 machines and weight set but at least there is the option. The mattress was pretty firm which isn’t for me personally.
- 5/5
Wonderful. Will stay again!
- 5/5
Clean room. Good location.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The room was very confortable. The matress need to be replaced. Breakfast is a plus. Will come back again.
- 5/5
Staff was just wonderfull. Breakfast ladies were oustanding, fun and just cool. Excellent food also.
- 5/5
The location and price.
- 5/5
Great location! Wonderful restaurants and things to do nearby! Our room was very clean. Definitely will stay here again on our yearly trip to Savannah!
- 3/5
Lovely but beds and pillows are in need of a major upgrade. Have to see a chiropractor after that stay. !! Staff is lovely and hotel is very clean !! Convenient to river street !!
- 1/5
Jonathan was unable to stay there due to the parking situation.
- 5/5
Ll staff and room was amazing.
- 5/5
The staff was fantastic, always going above and beyond. Best hotel experience I’ve ever had
- 3/5
One of the elevators was down and the other had duct tape holding part of it together but the staff was amazing and the rooms were clean. The hotel could definitely use an up grade though.
- 5/5
Loved the comfortable beds!

Very friendly well kept comfortable room

Truly enjoyed this property. It was in a perfect spot to everything. The staff is very friendly, especially the guys in the evening Valet, great group! The food at breakfast was good, filling enough to get me to lunch. The room was comfortable and clean. I had no issues! Definitely will recommend and also stay there again.

- 5/5
The hotel is in a great location. Very clean. Staff extremely friendly.
- 4/5
Unique because it is convenient to the shops. The water boil advisory could not have come at a worse time. Would I recommend yes because the pool view was awesome.
- 5/5
24 hour coffee, breakfast selection was really nice, friendly and helpful staff, clean pool and beautiful views. In room coffee pot didnt work but there was coffee in the lobby.
- 5/5
Great location, a bit noisy hallways, but nice overall.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect except the checkout staff. She was unfriendly and acting like helping me was just beyond her. But every other staff member we encountered was absolutely the best, one Apple won’t spoil the bunch, we will 100% be staying here every time we visit the area again.

I was sceptical about my stay because of the extra pay for valet, I was stuck in the elevator with a family, my room key did not work, I lost money in the drink machine and I forgot my favorite cup sitting on bench as I wait on valet to bring the car. That was too much.

Very close access to River Street. Walkable to multiple restaurants, bars, and shops.

Great customer service. Clean, close to everything. Would recommend.

Nice walkability to riverfront and historic downtown. One elevator broken, had to use the stairs to the seventh floor five times, often while staff tied up the working elevator even when not moving carts.

Great stay. Perfect location. Nice staff. Clean. They need to fix the elevator and to mens urinal in the lobby.

Your front desk people could’ve definitely been more friendly and welcoming.

All staff that we encountered were wonderful!

A very enjoyable stay! Dominique checked us in when we arrived very late and was friendly and helpful. All the staff was great. Breakfast was very good.

The staff here are all very friendly and helpful. Anytime we needed anything or had questions, the staff was knowledgeable and courteous. We especially love Francois who always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond. Definitely go to Vic’s on the River for shrimp and grits!!

The property was very convenient for everything. Very clean and safe area. Many restaurants and hotel options to choose from

Great breakfast in the morning. Room was comfortable and accommodating. Room fridge wouldn’t get cold. One window shade wouldn’t open. But overall, the location was great and staff was super helpful. The concierge desk was very helpful and booked everything right there.

We were pleasantly surprised that this property was excellent. Easy walk to the RiverWalk with all the restaurants and shoppes plus River St. Our room was spacious and quiet with a bit of a river view. Breakfast was good and the service attendant there outstanding. We were only here for one night but would definitely return. A great stay.

Francois on the front desk went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She was able to look after our bags for us after we had checked out at 11am. We got caught in a heavy downpour on our last day and arrived back at the hotel soaking wet. She provided us with towels and directed us to the nearest rest rooms so we could change out of our wet clothes and into dry ones.

The valet parking was expensive but worth it. The staff working valet was exceptional. Hotel was very clean and pool was beautiful. Breakfast was standard but convenient. The location was the best park. One block away from River Street and a few from Broughton.

Nice room and great view. Nice sunsets from the rooftop pool. Elevator was inconvenient. 2 elevators but only 1 working. Lots of variety at breakfast but you couldn’t use the eating area, very full. Parking was very confusing and inconvenient.

Great Location and walking distance to so many great sites!

Beds are very hard. 1 elevator was broken the 4 days we were there had to wait long period of time we were on the 7 floor. Dirty socks left in the unit from last guest. . but it was clean in the bathroom. We had to have maintenance come and get the bathroom sink to drain.

Clean and convenient location

Great river view! Nice rooms. Best of the Holiday Inn Express hotels. Love the location in the historic district

We checked out on the 21st of July, it is not the 5th of August and we are still waiting on our $150 deposit back. It’s still pending in our account, so that tells me they did not charge it, after 10 days of pending you’d think it’d say charged or refunded into our account.

Savanna was great

Nice hotel for the money. Staff was great. Not super quiet.

One elevator broke on our first night and then the only other elevator broke on our last. No elevator. Valet parking costs $48 and they took forever to get your car.

100% recommended!

Everything was excellent from the staff to cleanliness and hotel location. Valet parking is a bit pricey. Just use the public parking garage next door.

Excellent location

The rooms were comfortable. Only one of two elevators were not operating and had not for over a week, according to long staying guests. Parking was horrific at best!

The property and room were clean. Unfortunately, one of the two elevators was out of order and made getting up and down from the room time consuming. Free breakfast was the usual spread, but good choice to save money. Coffee machine was down for some of my stay but they do provide in room k cups and machine. Noise level was good minus one night when presumably drunk guests were banging their doors closed around 3 am, but that isn't the hotel's fault. I didn't need to utilize parking but it was displayed at $48/day for valet for regular size vehicles. The staff were all friendly and offered to store luggage both in check in and out day. Overall, for the price I would stay again especially once I know both elevators work.
