We had such a great stay at the hotel. The hotel was clean, friendly staff and in the perfect location. Definitely worth staying!
- 5/5
Very clean and the staff was great. No free parking.
- 5/5
Great experience. Lemon & Lime water welcome was perfect
- 5/5
The not so good: because we were dropped off just south of the Hampton we were walking with all our luggage. Not easy for our age group. So we missed the big sign near the top of the building whose view was blocked by the trees. And there was no sign at ground level indicating the entrance which is off from the parking lot. The driveway looked like 'just another parking lot'. We knew we were there since we had the correct address (603 Oglethorpe) but all the doors along Oglethorpe were locked due to the late hour. So we had to walk all the way around the building to find an open door. A tough hike due to our full day of travel. Please, install a modest sign at ground level on the south side of. your nice building. Thanks, Bob & Gail

Property is defiantly an acre kdet property. Hallways were very hot. Carpet in room was clearly worn. Caulking around shower was sloppy

The amenities that were offered were pretty good overall. The breakfast at least looked great, the pool looked clean, and there was a laundry room on site. Notice that I said that the breakfast "looked" great and the pool "looked" clean; unfortunately this hotel booked large groups of families with children during my stay. Which was unfortunate due to them taking up the majority of the space during breakfast and pool time(s). Although this doesn't really speak to the overall quality of this hotel, please be aware that this location does seem to be a family hotspot, and couples may feel uncomfortable during their stay here. Also, the bed I slept on was uncomfortable for the most part. I would often wake up in the middle of the night needing to shift constantly because my sides would go numb due to the quality of the mattress. The one working elevator took longer than normal to move between floors, and it also had a disgusting smell, almost akin to that of blood and mildew. I thought they were transferring dead bodies daily in that elevator.
- 5/5
The room was extra large
- 3.5/5
Close to the tour buses. There 3 nights and there was no cleaning service during that time. Had to request trash be removed and fresh towels. Bed not comfortable and pillows very flat. Parking was very limited, unloading and loading luggage was stressful.
- 4/5
The location of the property is perfect. I think its very inconvenient to have to charge guests who are staying there a parking fee on top of the room rental fee. The breakfast options were better than most other hotels. The beds were horrible. We had a king bed and it was not soft at all. The air conditioning was cold and the room was spacious.
- 5/5
Loved that many of the things we wanted to see in Savannah were within walking distance from the hotel. Such a beautiful and historic city. Our stay was great, room was excellent, and staff were very friendly!

The room welcomed us with our names on the television. Nice touch 😊
- 5/5
Great welcome when we arrived. Everything explained by Aniyah upon arrival. Need at least 2 smaller luggage carts. Ones that were avaliable were way to large to move around.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Property is close to everything in historic Savannah. Parking was costly but expected. Breakfast was just average as it could have had more fruit and yogurts. The hot plates could have included a bit more.

Liked the facility and location. People were friendly. An Elevator was not working….that slowed everything down. Elevator was not working and hated dealing with booking.com. Will never use them again.

An older property…looks old, feels old. Not super clean feeling. Sink wouldn’t drain to the point of almost overflowing. Called and no one came. Finally drained in the night.

Our room was clean, AC was working well, the position of the TV didn’t make any sense. The TV is not in front of the bed or couch. The breakfast was not appetizing at all, however the staff was extremely nice and very helpful.

Location, great staff!

Convenient to the Riverwalk Wife and I couldn’t get any sleep due to the LOUD STREET NOISE from motorcycles and loud cars driving by all night! We stayed in room #112 which was located nest to the Main Street!!!!!
- 1.5/5
It had a horrible smell in room and hallway.
- 5/5
We were there for only 2 nights. Staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel was clean. We had a great experience staying there.
- 5/5
The location is great- just a few minutes walk down to the riverfront. The lobby is huge with a great sitting area. The free breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel. The waffles were fantastic with pecans! They also had chocolate and caramel toppings. The concierge was so helpful and gave great recommendations for things to do. The Hop On Hop Off Bus had a stop only one block away. She recommended Corleone's Italian Restaurant which is a block or two from the hotel. The portions are absolutely huge!
- 5/5
Great location and clean hotel.
- 2/5
This was the least nicest Hampton we’ve ever stayed at anywhere in the US. Carpet squares patched together for carpet. Peeling walls in the bathroom and a sagging bed. We stay at Hampton because we’re always assured of a clean well kept place for the price. This one was a disappointment, so we left a day early and ate the cost for that night!
- 4/5
Breakfast was limited but ok. Coffee in lobby was always very lukewarm. Room Was good size. Good location. Bedside charger didnt work. Room was clean. Staff good. After reading reviews, was worried about parking but there was no problem at all
- 4/5
Lovely hotel located with in walking distance to historic Savannah
- 3/5
We did not have hot water
- 5/5
Beautiful room, very clean.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great. We had breakfast 3 times, and each time was different offerings. The always had eggs, meat, fruit, muffins, waffles and such, but sometimes the eggs were served as little omelettes. Soooo good.
- 3/5
Location is great but…If you are a light sleeper be careful which room you get. The traffic noise is horrible on the weekends, late into the night/early morning.
- 3/5
Parking rates are too expensive.
- 3/5
This property is nice, but it’s located on noisy streets. If you book a room, ask for room not facing any streets because the traffic is loud. It is located in a convenient place, though. Be prepared to pay to park, too. It was $35 per night, but the parking is covered.
- 5/5
all good
- 3/5
Location is right on the main road in front and the highway to the bridge on the side. Be sure and request a room away from those two sides. Also … Parking is terrible. Only a few spaces on site and the self-parking garage is two blocks away.
- 3/5
I did not eat breakfast. I didnt like that i had to park on the premises. I also thoughtvit was a safety concern walking that far and paying $ 35
- 4/5
Breakfast good. Pillows oddly soft difficult to get neck comfortable
- 5/5
Great location, close to riverwalk and 20 minute walk to Forsyth park. Appears to be in very safe area, but then again streets well lit and many police around all historic district. 2 blocks from start of old town trolley which is very convenient. Breakfast is slightly lacking from other hotels I’ve stayed at. Will stay at this hotel due to convenience of where located and reasonable price when I come back to Savannah.
- 5/5
Friendly front desk agent on night of check in and woman at breakfast area. Breakfast was ok. Could use a little more variety but the scones were so good. Room was clean and comfortable. Our room faced the street so it got loud from time to time but it was a lovely property and my daughter and I traveling alone felt very safe. Great location to walk to many of the must see areas.
- 5/5
This was a great hotel stay. The property is beautiful, the staff was so friendly and helpful, the room was clean, spacious and clean. It is also a great location - not too far of a walk from all the action without paying the higher cost to be by the action (which I don’t like to stay by anyways). Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect!
- 5/5
Everything was good.
- 4/5
great, convenient location in the historic area. we walked everywhere the breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful. pool was nice and lots of relaxing areas inside and outside the grounds for sitting and relaxing.
- 5/5
Clean room nice staff
- 5/5
Super friendly front desk staff, great location for attending SCAD Day, right across from SCAD Museum, easy walking to Broughton St. and The Hive dorms, as well as to riverfront. Comfortable, clean room, great beds, good AC. Multiple seating areas in common spaces for talking and hanging out.
- 3/5
Breakfast was cold unless you made a waffle, and the sausage was either burnt or barely cooked
- 5/5
Breakfast was good but a little packed with other guests. Limited amount of parking on site, had to park in parking garage about a block away. Some homeless in adjacent lot. Staff was Great A+. Hotel was gorgeous inside.
- 2/5
Parking was terrible
- 5/5
Breakfast was very nice. $35.00 parking fee i thought was a bit steep
- 4/5
No free parking (similar to other properties in Savannah), the overflow parking is in a garage behind the Embassy Suite, not difficult, but also not the most convenient.
- 5/5
Good location within walking distance of many tourist stops. Safe to walk at night. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Nice decor and clean comfortable rooms. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, large room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good.
- 4/5
Breakfast could have been better
- 5/5
Felt very safe, great location, staff was super friendly, clean rooms
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful, the breakfast good. The room was clean and spacious. The parking was a bit tricky, having to park a couple blocks and walk with luggage at night was not ideal. Also, the outside noise level was loud. Heard every car radio until after 2:00 am. The hotel was beautiful.
- 4/5
Beds were very comfy linens were nice. Adjusting the room temperature was extremely difficult. It was either too cold or too hot and we had to keep messing around with that. Also, the refrigerator froze. Everything solid, even though we turned it down, other than that everything was great.
- 5/5
Everything was great! Loved the lobby and the breakfast!
- 5/5
Especially liked the instant hot water, the breakfast both days was very tasty!
- 4/5
Same with the room temperature. Staff were helpful especially the concierge.
- 4/5
The place was definitely taken care of, and the free breakfast was always a plus.
- 4/5
Staff were accommodating and room was very clean

All was great

Hotel was located close to everything, within a mile of restaurants and the river walk. Very clean, great price (through Expedia) and friendly staff. Breakfast was your basic hotel options with scrambled eggs, waffles and sausage.

Nice clean room, Very nice large lobby, good breakfast

- 5/5
Outstanding customer service from Staff
- 5/5
Staff was the best
- 4/5
Good central location. A little dated, breakfast ok; rooms spacious and clean.
- 2/5
The room was fine and the staff was very friendly. However, I was charged $35 for parking in the overflow lot which I never used. I am a 100% disabled veteran and parked just outside the door in a handicap parking spot. I parked there Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock and left Saturday morning at 10 o’clock and was charged $35 to park in that handicap spot. I was not told that I would be charged $35 for parking in a handicap spot for less than 18 hours. I called to complain and talk to the front desk and was told there’s nothing they can do. I feel like I have been completely ripped off and will never stay at another Hampton Inn.
- 4/5
I’m was clean and well appointed. Like that it still maintained the historic feel of the area we were in as did the entire hotel.
- 4/5
The water was excellent in the sense that it was very hot which I needed. The staff was very friendly, we arrived before check in and they were able to check us in early. My only complaint was the TV, wasn’t able to use it.

Our room didn’t get cleaned after our first night. There was a sign at the desk which we didn’t see saying you needed to request that your room be cleaned. This was a first. Also we had to pay $35 a day for parking and the parking lot was several blocks away. Expedia didn’t mention this. The room itself was fine.

Very kind and helpful staff. They took great pride in greeting guests and keeping the hotel spotlessly clean. Great breakfast!
- 4/5
The room was good, buffet was ok, but a great location for getting around town
- 5/5
Clean room, great location, fitting style for the city. Will be back!
- 5/5
Indeed the room was clean and check in was seamless. I forgot my shower cap and would have been grateful if there had been one tucked behind the front desk, but expect they seldom have that request.
- 4/5
The room and stay was nice. I wasn't a fan of the $35 parking fee.
- 4/5
The hotel was very nice. However, it was there are twoHampton Inns in the Historic District and we thought we were at the other which is in a better location.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean. Centrally located. The breakfast could be a bit better. Have had better at other Hamptons. Overal a good stay.
- 5/5

.
- 5/5
Overall good stay, the room was great. Quiet and roomy. The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. They were out of a lot of things the first morning we were there and it was very carb heavy. There is also a fee to park our car in the parking lot, which we were not aware of when we booked the hotel.
- 5/5
Hotel very clean close to everything staff very friendly
- 4/5
Upon check-in I was a little worried because the person checking us in was a little short with us, but the next day and each day after Aniyah was very helpful. She was so nice and caring. The hotel itself was very nice, clean, easily accessible, and in a great location for our needs. The downside was the location of our room, the first floor facing the street. It was so loud, we had to take sleeping meds. Also there was a large gap under our door, so we heard every single being and sound from the hallway. Aniyah offered to change it but since we were only staying another night, we declined. We would stay again on the opposite side and higher floor.

The hotel is close enough for walking to all the great sights and the trolly station is across the street and that was nice for the hop on hop off tour. The concierge lady was great. She always answered our questions and gave us a great restaurant/bar recommendations close by. Breakfast was wonderful and the ladies taking care of that were so nice. The area was clean and the food was good and plentiful. Our room was clean, but could use some updates. No carpets in hotel rooms!! Now for the couple negatives. Noisy at times on first floor. There were homeless people living on the property around the garbage dumpster area. There were also people smoking weed on property in parking area. I did not feel safe. Lastly, all the TAXES on final bill. Beware, your FINAL bill will be a lot higher. Dumb taxes!!! Happy Otherwise.
- 5/5
Nicely decorated lobby. Clean and comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Only shortcoming is ac was loud. We were next to the ice machine, which was noisy in the morning.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Very friendly, good breakfast, clean rooms!!! Like that it’s central to everything
- 3/5
Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable.
- 3/5
The $35 parking fee was never mentioned when I prepaid. Three nights prior on our way up north we stayed at the Savannah Hilton Residence virtually 2 blocks away and there was no parking charge. Very bad business 👎
- 3/5
PLEASE OWNERS DO BETTER!!!
- 5/5
Room and property were very clean. Staff was very pleasant….would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
The staff especially the ladies in the breakfast area was very courteous and friendly. My sister and I try to get this hotel every year for the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run. The location is perfect for us and we have been coming here for the past 5 years.

I love this hotel. It's the perfect balance of old world, southern charm and modern convenience. The staff could not have been more friendly or attentive. They even delivered razors to my room at one in the morning! The location of the hotel is within walking distance of many attractions, and it's just across the street from a trolley stop for the sites that are just a bit too far away. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
We had a nice, clean, and comfortable room. The location was close to all the attractions of Savannah such as the hop on and off tour began just a block away. The breakfast was good and had long hours of availability. Other than being required to pay an additional $35 a night for parking, we enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
Expensive parking fee
- 3/5
One entire day of our stay was ruined by “ maintenance” contractors banging and pounding on the side of the building right outside our room.
- 5/5
Overall Excellence
- 5/5
Enjoy my weekend with a good night sleep
- 5/5
Great area. Walking distance to river street. Clean hotel
- 5/5
Clean room, super nice staff, breakfast was great! Beds were super comfy and they provided everything for a carefree week
- 4/5
Rooms were very clean, and beds were super comfy.
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
The hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are large and well appointed. The sconces on the walls, the bedding, everything is elegant. We will definitely return. The staff was extremely helpful in every way.
- 2/5
Parking situation is a sham. You have to park blocks away in another hotel parking garage if you don't get one of the few spots available at the hotel. The housekeeping staff knocked on our door extremely early every 15 minutes until we checked out. Regardless of the 11am checkout time or us telling them we are not in need of anything. I've never spent this kind of $$ on a room and been rushed out like this before. I won't be staying there again.
- 3/5
The bed was not a memory foam style and we had a barking dog across the hall on the second day. Bring your own pillow!
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Our room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was varied every day and always yummy. Coffee and tea available 24/7 in the very pretty lobby. Was within a reasonable walking area of places to eat, River Street, City Market, and trolley.

The room was beautiful and spacious. The location was fantastic. The breakfast was fresh and the variety was great. Love Savannah.
- 5/5
Clean, very friendly staff
- 5/5
Did not like the parking fee to allow to stay in lot.
- 4/5
Property was good. Staff was excellent. However, parking was iffy. There wasn't enough on-site for us to park at 9:30 PM on Friday. Found out at check-out that they should have told us about extra parking near by. ALSO, EXPEDIA TOLD US THAT PARKING WAS FREE; HOWEVER IT WAS $35/NIGHT! Because they failed to informed us about the extra parking; the hotel refunded the one night fee. BUT THAT DOES NOT NEGATE THE FACT THAT EXPEDIA'S INFO WAS INCORRECT.
- 5/5
The hotel had an elegant southern charm to it. It was clean, safe, comfortable, and everyone was friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Charging $35 a night for parking in a garage that is a block and a half away is unreasonable.
- 5/5
The toilet was plugged but it is okay - they were really nice
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
The staff was good, breakfast average for Hampton Inn, air conditioning worked fine. Bathroom shower was not full functional as shower hand held did not work and had to struggle with getting shower head to work. Tile was cracked and obviously re-caulked in multiple places. Elevators were dirty and brass trim in bad need of cleaning and polishing. Overall appearance of hotel was an old, tired Hampton Inn, that needs a total renovation and not worth what we paid for the room for the weekend.
- 5/5
Nice room, quiet, coffee and microwave and refrigerator in room and good breakfast!
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and welcoming. We were on the ground floor on a busy street so there was traffic noise. The air conditioner was also quite noisy but that is common at most hotels.
- 4/5
We enjoyed the parking right outside the hotel (for a small daily fee) and the free breakfast as most other hotels make you valet the car and pay extra for breakfast. The hotel lobby is beautifully historic and inviting. Any staff we encountered were nice, but could be a little more personable. I know how hard that is to maintain, so I'm not complaining, but just a note. No one was rude whatsoever! We stayed twice (one night each - a week apart) on the way to and from Tennessee and the forst week we were on the 4th floor. That room was great, had no complaints! The second week we stayed on the 5th floor... that one wasn't as great. I woke up early in the morning, smelling a horrible smell. I thought maybe the food in our cooler went bad, nope. I thought maybe it was just our room and perhaps a mouse or something had died under something, nope. When we left the room for breakfast, I realized the whole 5th floor smelled bad. I didn't bother reporting it to anyone because we were checking out right after breakfast, but figured it would be good to note here. Overall, still had a great time and we're likely to stay here again next time we're in town!
- 4/5
Water was out when we arrives
- 5/5
Property, staff, etc were wonderful
- 2/5
The staff was good. The building is old and we had problems with the AC unit being noisy, the shower was gross, and we felt unsafe due to the people hanging across the street.
- 5/5
Parking is very limited
- 5/5
Very close to everything in Savannah. Makes your trip walkable. Only needed a Lyft to and from the airport.
- 5/5
Great location. The staff was super friendly.
- 4/5
Elevator right by room was out. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Cleaning windows or something so loud machinery in parking lot during day
- 5/5
I can not say enough about how wonderful this hotel and the staff were. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The pool and fitness center were wonderful as well.
- 4/5
Beware that there are two Hampton Inns within a mile of each other in downtown Savannah. I thought I was booking the other one. This one turned out to be ok, but was a few blocks farther from where we wanted to be, and had some unpleasant traffic noise. Because I booked through Expedia and paid up front, there wasn't anything the staff could do to get our reservation moved to the other location, without our incurring a no-show and needing to pay a one-night penalty.
- 5/5
Very easy to walk to downtown and hisoric area. Having the person in the lobby to ask for maps and dinning locations was especially helpful.
- 5/5
Very nice cost to value ratio.
- 4/5
Even though there was a long line for check-in and it took a few minutes, the staff was polite and attentive. The location is excellent.
- 5/5
Second time staying here. It’s very convenient to everything Savannah offers.
- 5/5
Excellent location and stay near historic Savannah and specially anyone visiting SCAD students near the Hive and Turner
- 3/5
The property is old and needs some updates. Room carpeting is worn out. I wasn't able to turn a light fixture off near the bed. I had to unscrew the bulb to get it off.
- 5/5
The room smelled very musty but it was clean.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great with many options. Will definately stay again
- 5/5
The room was half prepared. I have to call twice. But they bring it. And it takes more time to get ready to sleep. The switcher is broken, i couldn't make room dark I am shocked.
- 4/5
Staff was pleasant. Did not like having to pay for parking. The hot water did not work properly- luke warm at best!
- 5/5
Easy location. Staff very nice and helpful. Overall would stay again
- 5/5
Awesome!
- 1/5
The room was fine but the $35.00 parking charge was excessive. I would never stay at there hotel ever again.
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay and walk anywhere! :) Thank you for your fabulous hospitality!
- 4/5
Breakfast was good. Room was right next to laudry area and staff was banging trash cans and making noise all night. It was ok. Not great not terrible
- 5/5
It was nice. Had ants in our room the first night, but they took care of it and moved us right away. Would have liked for the pool to be open.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice , clean .
- 4/5
Place needs updated. Treadmill not working in fitness center and pool unavailable. Staff was wonderful. Food was decent. Convenient to airport and shopping outlet.
- 4/5
Was not a fan of paying to park on the property or that my room type was given away...but they did make it right although it was an inconvenience to move again once we had settle in but overall was a nice stay.
- 4/5
Good breakfast! Overall everything was nice.
- 1/5
Our air did not work in the room it was 96 deg outside. Someone was sent up to look at it and couldn’t fix it. They brought us an industrial fan that was so loud we couldn’t hear each other. They stopped responding when we asked for another room. Also, no money back or any help was given.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Shower was slippery. Toilet ran constantly. Breakfast was great. Loved walk ability and convenience to restaurants. Overall good experience
- 2/5
and you need to pay for it. Direct parking by the building is very limited. Smell of weed was a bit too much for me, but not something they can control.
- 5/5
Very close to lots of amenities and activities. Staff was so friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The property was nice. Well kept. Staff was great! Only problem I had was with how horribly uncomfortable the bed was. That mattress was very lumpy, loud and uncomfortable. Breakfast was good too!
- 2/5
The power went out for 4 hours which destroyed our laptops battery. We had it confirmed at the repair shop on our return home. Cost $220 to repair and the plugs on one wall no longer worked.
- 4/5
Clean, very roomy suite for 5. Very quiet in upstairs rooms. Nice well stocked breakfast. Smokers hang out in area near the entrance at various times during the day/ evening. You have to walk through smoke to get to the door…pretty major for people with health issues. Parking fee is $35/ day. I don’t recall seeing that in the listing on Expedia. Otherwise, great location!
- 5/5
Nice place, clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Fabulous location. Extremely clean and comfortable. Staff is very kind and conscientious.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing especially Mrs Alma! My family of 5 will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Good option
- 5/5
Rooms were clean and breakfast wax very good Had hot coffee at all hours which was appreciated. They do charge for parking which was annoying. I did not need another unexpected expense. I found street parking to streets behind on a street that begins with a T. One side was metered the other wax not, Jyst can’t park there on Tuesday and Wed. We lucked out because it was Thursday and Friday. Other than park g, I loved the hotel. Pool was great too!!
- 5/5
It was a bit hard to find the front door but staff were very helpful. Loved the large indoor and outdoor dining. Pool was nice and warm everything very clean
- 5/5
This is a convenient place to stay. The stay was safe and quiet. The only issue was parking away from the hotel. There was no valet service to park the cars away from the building.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Good location. Convenient to all we wanted to do.

The room was great in all areas except I could hear the people who took the stairs. For several hours, people were running on the stairs. It sounded like horses running due to the echo in the stairwell. There is nothing the hotel can do to change this feature. I did not complain to the management for this reason. Otherwise, the hotel is beautiful and offers great comfort.

Over all was really good. The breakfast was better than IHG hotels parking limited but considering the close location to everything it was worth it
- 5/5
We enjoyed everything about this hotel with the exception of having to park in a parking garage one block away. The walk back to the hotel at night was a bit scary as there were vacant lots and people loitering.

For the price this was a nice option to get into Savannah. Our slight suggestion would include ensuring that the shampoo conditioner and body lotion amenities would be filled (they were all empty or close to it) Additionally the coffee maker in our room was in the bathroom and did not work.

Great location, clean, safe, good gym, good breakfast

This hotel is in a great walkable location to restaurants, but was pretty basic. Didnt have a ton of parking so we had to walk a decent distance to the parking garage
- 4/5
Quaint hotel, with pleasant staff. Located on a busy corner, so it's a little noisy outside. Concierge was helpful in recommending evening dolphin cruise. Walking distance to the city center. Clean rooms.

Great location. Walking distance to river walk

Great hotel. We stayed in a family room which was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children, breakfast was perfect. location is great, everything in within a 10 minute walk

Great location. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

I liked we were close to a lot of things. Good location. I did not like the mattress or the beds. It was very uncomfortable. Did not sleep good at all. Decent options for breakfast.
- 2/5
Rooms were old, dingy, and outdated. The toilets didn’t flush well, 2 elevators didn’t work, free breakfast was trash, not enough parking.
- 5/5
Convenient location, nice staff, large rooms. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Professional and friendly front desk at check in and check out. Comfy bed.

Ok I always stay at Hampton inn and they are really nice but this one I just ok I didn’t like the parking situation I’ve never had to pay to park you already paying a lots for the room then u have to pay to park ant the parking was two blocks away in a garage I didn’t like that and the room was constantly hot even thoe the air was on and the room smelled like feet .

Great location in the Historic District of Savannah Georgia. It is within walking distance of the main attractions in the Historic District.
- 3/5
This is an older Hampton Inn and.could use updating. The staff was helpful and twice maintenance was needed and responded quickly. The address is deceiving. The Hotel main entrance is not Olglethrope however, it is facing a very busy Martin Luther King Blvd. Overall it was still a convenient hotel to walk Savannah Historic District

When we arrived we were greeted with a smile. Our room was not ready but we were given the TV remote and told we could watch tv in a beautiful waiting area until our room was ready because a huge thunderstorm was coming. As soon as our room was ready they came a gave us our room key. Room was very large, clean corner room. With comfortable beds. Couldn’t get the TV to work but with in a minute maintenance was there to show us how to get it working. Brand new TV. Got several text messages asking if we needed anything. Great selection for breakfast. The servers and cooks were so friendly and helpful. Everyone that worked there seemed happy. The only thing that I did not like about the Hampton ( but this goes for all hotels and motels in Savannah). Is they charge you a $35.00 and up per night parking fee to park in a parking spot. You already pay for a room why should you have to pay extra for parking. Last night we had to park in a parking garage and walk a couple of blocks to get back to the Hampton but didn’t get a discount on parking for that night. Easy check-in and check-out. Would stay at the Hampton Historic District again.

The room was perfect and we loved the breakfast.

Easy to get attractions

The problem is that the address that the Hampton uses on their website and Expedia is 603 Oglethorpe. When by gps took me to this address it's the side of a building, no door, no sign, nothing but brick. Their correct address is actually around the block on MLK Blvd. When I was able to pull over (heavy mid-day traffic) I tried to call their front desk. All I could find was an 800 number that doesn't provide a person to talk to. Instead, it says, look at your email confirmation for a phone number. I looked through the email and THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER!! When I finally got to front desk and asked where I could park, I found out it was 2 blocks away, and unmarked. Very frustrating experience,

Great location! Caught the trolley right by the hotel and able to walk to shops and restaurants. Very comfortable room!

Location good & staff very friendly

My wife and I loved our stay here! The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. There’s plenty to see within walking distance of the hotel as well a wide variety of dining choices. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 out 5 Stars for property condition was the lack of available parking on site at the hotel. It was “hit or miss” any time we drove somewhere, as to whether or not we would have a spot to park there. They have overflow parking in a small parking garage two blocks away, but it’s not very convenient to park there. And $35 a night to park at a hotel is the most I’ve ever paid any where I’ve stayed in the U.S. I found it a bit pricey, considering there wasn’t guaranteed parking on site. But I did really appreciate the staff and the breakfast each morning was 5 Stars for real!

The only thing we didn't love was that the parking was very limited, so we had to use a parking garage around the corner. Not a huge deal, but we had to drag our luggage half a block. Great, walkable location with a good breakfast. Spacious rooms.
- 3/5
1st it is in the center easy in and out by car easy walk The bad: They don't clean rooms (5 nights and not even once. We asked (insisted) and they came to change towels. Asked to fill-in products in bathroom, made sure message was received and confirmed but, nothing done. The bed was very old and made noises every time you move. Bathroom don't have a vent. Moist and stuffy very quickly and you can't open a Window as well. They over book parking spaces so; you might find yourself paying for parking that does not exist (and end up improvising). The people behind the counter must go through extra training and maybe a minimum IQ check. It is not even funny (especially the night timers)... To sum-up The hotel is not bad but, runs badly (there is a difference)

Amazing hotel experience and amazing staff. The front desk ladies were so polite and courteous.
- 4/5
The breakfast was not good. There is no hot tub. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nice but bathroom fixtures were dated the sink faucet was spraying me in the face.
- 3/5
For starters the lady at the front desk had an attitude when we went to refresh our keys for our 2nd night stay. (One night through Hilton and the other with Hotels.com) She seemed to be upset because we were checked in for our 2nd night during the time of our 1st night stay. The room was very dated, the bed was very uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when we moved our bodies. Also, at the onset of our stay the bathroom had a strong bleach odor. Once the bleach smell dissipated the bathroom had a very bad stench.

Right in the heart of the historic district. Able to walk to riverfront or trolley tour. Clean, lovely lobby and dining atea. Have concierge desk, pool, coffee and tea and sitting area. Has Savannah charm!

Not worth the price

Once you are in the hotel, it is a great hotel. However, BE AWARE. It is in a terrible logistical location. It is right off the bumpy MLK Jr Blvd. There is no front entrance to speak of except a door. There are only about 20 parking spots for a multi-story hotel. If you are checking in, pull in to the side entrance and unload your bags. Then, check in so you get a parking pass to the garage which is TWO STREETS over behind the Embassy Suites. Breakfast was excellent with your traditional fruits, yogurts, plenty of waffle makers, oatmeal, eggs, and other breakfast items. It's just very difficult to get to if this is your first time. I also made the mistake of going to the Bay Street Hampton Inn closest to River Street which is actually the one I wanted only to be sent to this one for the same per night price. Also, be aware that nothing is within walking distance. You are still going to have to drive everywhere but, at least, the parking garage is free for hotel guests.

Good location to use as a base station to visit the area.

Very clean and staff were friendly and took the time to show us where the restaurants were. When we travel, we always like to stay at a Hampton Inn.

i liked the the feel of old & new well blended. we first went to the other Hampton which was very busy & didn't feel like old savanna we were looking for. the staff at both places were great.we walked everywhere the parks are amazing, great shopping & dining.we never left the area.
