Guests generally appreciate the hotel's central location in Savannah, with many attractions within walking distance. The staff is often praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. However, there are recurring complaints about the valet parking system, with guests finding it inconvenient and expensive. Some guests also mention cleanliness issues in the rooms and bathrooms.

That being said, the staff was courteous and helpful, the rooms were clean, the valet is convenient, and the location was excellent. We were within walking distance to everything we wanted to experience. 4/5!

Decent location in a walkable area. Continental breakfast was good and they provide infused water at the check in desk. Parking is confusing/directions to the self park garage could be provided beforehand. Mold in the bathroom but otherwise the room was comfortable.
- 5/5
It was convenient and easy to get to. We did the valet and was glad we did. The rooms awesome and the breakfast was good. Would for sure go back..just in the spring. June is hot and the humidity is terrible.

- The hotel is in an excellent location, perfect for walking to pretty much anywhere you might want to go. - The staff were all very helpful and friendly; we arrived at the hotel before check-in time and wanted to enquire about leaving bags so we could explore the area, and unprompted they let us know that our room was ready and we could check-in now. - There was an issue with the room we booked and so they upgraded us to a larger suite room, free of charge. - Wide range of breakfast options including freshly cooked hot food - Nice toiletries available in bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion) Negatives: - The AC unit was old and would keep turning itself off, rather than maintaining a consistent temperature and automatically turning on once the temperature increased. This meant that the room would get very hot at night and we had to keep getting out of bed to manually turn the unit back on - The room was clean on the surface level (eg - bedding and bathroom were very clean) but the AC unit had thick dust in the vents, as well as the bedroom window being covered in a layer of dirt - The curtains didn't block out much light. Having a bedroom facing the street meant that our room was quite bright all night - Valet parking is expensive, but this seems to be the same cost everywhere in the area In general it was a good stay and I would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in an excellent location.

Good location. Great breakfast. Our phone did not work. When trying to check connections, behind the night stand was very dirty. Tried to call front desk using cell phone but no one answered. Valet parking took a long time to get your car.

- 5/5
Super friendly staff, good breakfast, walkable location.
- 3/5
The street noise was terrible, kept us up all night. To make things worse, the pool was not working. We specifically chose this hotel because it had a pool, but as soon as we got there, we were informed it was closed. Summer in Savannah and the pool was closed with no notice. Very disappointed, along with the terrible street noise. Staff was super nice, hotel was clean and breakfast was great, but the pool and noise was not worth it.

The location and staff were friendly. It was not like the images on the app. I feel a bit mislead.
- 3/5
The location is great! The staff didn’t care to be bothered from the nothing they were doing to greet, smile or even make eye contact. Also, I booked this property specifically for the outdoor pool. It was closed. In the beginning of June.

Location was so convenient! Parked our car using the valet and walked everywhere. Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly and hard working and eager to make sure everything was perfect. Will stay here again.
- 3/5
Staff advised to park across the street as they do not have their own parking and valet costs more @ $48 a day. Their pool was not functioning so was told we could use hotel atlof behind the property. Waited quite a bit for front desk assistance

Breakfast buffet was very good. Lots of options. The pool was dirty. Could not swim. We chose the room with hopes of using the pool. It was full of dirt and green substance
- 3.5/5
It was poor quality food and not good taste. Our bathtub was plugged and was was standing in it.
- 5/5
Steep price for parking but if you park across the block it’s not too bad. Everything else was solid.
- 1/5
The only two good things I can say are that the location is good. We were able to walk to everything downtown and there is easy access to interstate and the convention center. Patricka at the front desk was also super friendly and helpful when we needed more towels. Do better Marriott!
- 5/5
Room was spotless. Staff always friendly particularly the breakfast crew. Very hardworking. Valet also excellent.
- 3/5
Not really in historic district as claimed. Hôtel was clean and staff very helpful
- 3/5
The staff, breakfast was fantastic,!!! The cost for the stay was on the high side, I really wanted to use the pool but it was never working for the 7 days we were there. The cost to park the the car was ridiculous/ 45 a night. Parked across the street for 7 days for 62 dollars. The coffee maker had no plug in its cabinet. had to be taken out to be used. The light in the cabintet nook did not work. Oudated electronics..like no usb plugs etc.
- 3/5
Location was excellent The phone line was not connected and they did not care. Also I find the parking fees excessive.
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly and helpful. Close to many shops, restaurants and the trolley ride. Got tickets in the lobby. Wish the pool had been open. Great breakfast and wonderful staff.

it was well located , we had booked the king suite and the size of the room was very good , unfortunately we found a baby bed bug walk on our phone , on listening to the complain a maintainence guy came up but he had no solution and in exchange they offered me a standard twin bed room that was half the size . no pest sprays no apologies nothing . the basin drain was plugged and on washing my face it was not draining so next day we had to brush our teeth at the airport as we had a very early flight . when we go to take the shower there's no body wash so had to use the shower gel instead . not the best of experience at 5 am in the morning ! it's written above

We struggled to get housekeeping. After the 2nd day with no housekeeping we brought it to their attention and the excuse was that we didn't remove our do not disturb sign until 9:30AM. Apparently if the sign is not removed before 9, the room is not cleaned that day. The cleaning we did get was not thorough. There are no luggage racks and were told there is table for suitcases which our room was missing. Staff made no attempt or suggestion to have a table delivered to our room. On the possitive the breakfast and breakfast staff were very good as were the valet parking staff.

I was in room 528. The floor had a bright red spot in front of the bed in between the bed and the television. The air conditioner was not calibrated properly, sometimes it was extremely cold and other times it was quite warm. looking out the window at the roof of the building next door and the alley way of the hotel. The one front desk worker was somewhat snooty and unfriendly. The valet people were very nice and proficient. The food service personnel were nice and helpful.

A nice hotel in a great location in downtown historic district. Our room was nice and clean. I love that there was a complimentary breakfast every morning. The valet service is great. It was only one attendant when we arrived, but He was working hard to get everyone in as soon as he vould. The staff at the front counter was very helpful and kind. This was our 2nd time staying here and have not had any problems.

I really liked the facilities! The building was very clean and modern looking. The elevator worked perfectly and the room was very clean and spacious. The mattress were the most comfortable ones I have experienced in a while! The breakfast was very good; it included a variety of healthy items and not too processed foods. The staff was okay, they could have been a little friendlier and attentive. Location was amazing; everything was really close by and I felt safe walking around the area. I would recommend it! The parking was way too expensive ($45 a night) so I found a parking garage a few minutes away for only $12.00 a night. It was very pricey compared to other options nearby.

The maid service never cleaned our room, so we had to hunt down towels, etc, every other day for a week. The breakfast was mediocre, and the area was always dirty. The entrance/sitting area, was always dirty. The valet parking was horrible and you had to wait forever for your car, sometimes, over 40 minutes. I told the front desk each day, and all they said was I'm sorry.

I gave the staff a 3 stars while we were visiting we met two very nice staff members, one while eating breakfast, he was cleaning, and filling everything- he was incredibly polite, and very attentive! The other was a gentleman that was checking guests in- however we did not end up with him. He was very friendly, and helpful to the guest he was checking in. We had a slightly different experience with the lady that checked us in. She was rude, and not very helpful. The next morning seemed to have the same issue. We are not high maintenance guest either- we simply asked about parking while checking in, and handed our key in to the desk in the morning. I hate to write anything negative- the hotel is definitely worth checking out, and I could only hope we just caught some of the staff on an off day.

Staff was very friendly. I received a different room than what i booked thru expedia. They stated expedia sent them the new booking vs what i booked and if i wanted what i booked, i would have to do it thru expedia as in cancel and rebook the requested room which they didnt have available which would cause me to loose my room and have nowhere to stay.

Honestly this place is perfect. I was worried on the map it looked “too far” compared to nearby hotels… it’s RIGHT where you want it! Like 2/3 blocks from the central market. I am a female (30) traveled alone... Felt safe entering the hotel, staying, and walking/ubering alone! The hotel is very clean. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast ever. AND staff was amazingly kind! Couldn’t have asked for better. Also used the gym, it was small! One bench, a few treadmills/ellipticals/set of weights! But did the job, open 24/7. Didn’t use the pool!

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The only thing I was uneasy about was the $100 holding fee, which I wasn't informed of at check-in or when I contacted the hotel about the deposit amount, which is $20 a night. Valet parking costs $48 a night. However, there is a parking garage across the street that offers $12 daily parking.

The hotel is in a perfect location. We parked in the parking garage across the street and never had to move our vehicle the entire stay. We walked and rode the ferry whenever we needed to get anywhere. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as shopping and exploring/sightseeing. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. This was a great overall stay. They only had valet and of course that's expensive, but we found parking in a garage close by that was cheaper and still safe.

My criticism was that they boasted of 24-hour coffee service. Yes there was no decaf coffee in the evening. There was also no decaf tea at any time. The Cold cereal bar was very nice, but it didn't come out until 6:30 a.m. we older folks go to bed early and rise early. The room was fine.

Breakfast is good but there is no variety. It's exactly the same every single day which is boring. They can switch some items or can have one single daily special item. Staff serving breakfast was good and efficient, breakfast area was clean and tidy. Room cleaning was questionable as we found few hairs in our room after checking in, otherwise the stay was great.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights over New Year’s Eve and the experience was very disappointing. During our entire stay, the rooms were never cleaned, and towels were never changed. Additionally, one of the rooms we booked was supposed to have two queen beds to accommodate three adults, but we were given a room with only one king bed instead. Overall, we were not satisfied with our stay.

We stayed for three nights. There was no housekeeping service. When we checked out, only one elevator was in service. It took over 30 minutes to get our luggage to our car. One day we were driven from our room by a false fire alarm that blared for over an hour. The availability of certain food items at breakfast was spotty. The phone in our room didn't wok. The refrigerator in our room didn't work. The overhead light in our room didn't work.

They did give us a new bottle of shower soap but did not address the other 2 issues even though we told them about the problems early on in our stay.

The breakfast was very basic and crowded. The only real upside was the location, which is convenient. I could tell some of the staff were really trying, but even so, for the price, it just wasn’t worth it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. One more thing: the valet parking felt very pushy. I’d read enough reviews to skip it and used public parking instead, which was way cheaper ($12–15 a night). If you stay here, definitely don’t use the valet.

Ideal for a low-key New Year’s escape. Location is unbeatable—strolled to City Market bars and the river fireworks without driving. Hotel room felt modern and peaceful after the crowds. Staff was friendly; valet handled our car smoothly (pricey but worth it for no hassle). Enjoyed the outdoor fire pits for a quiet toast at midnight from the hotel side. Breakfast saved us the next day. Great value for a couple’s getaway—highly recommend!

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel due to the front desk staff and management. Their behavior came across as disrespectful and unprofessional, and as a person of color, I did not feel welcomed or treated with basic courtesy. The attitude and lack of professionalism were consistent enough to be concerning. That said, I want to give credit where it’s due: the housekeeping team and the breakfast staff were excellent. They were polite, hardworking, and did their jobs well. Unfortunately, the issues with the front counter staff and management overshadowed the positives. I strongly believe the hotel needs to reassess its staffing and management approach if they want to provide a respectful and inclusive experience for all guests. At this time, I would not recommend staying here.

The check in process was Beverly slow and the delay carried on into the night. To be fair, they did end up comping us a room in addition to my reservation. The problem was it was right next to a loud party with a room full of 20 or so young people drinking and smoking until after 11pm. The management was reluctant to deal with it though the eventually did. Room was cleared out by 1am. The next morning all seemed better and then the coffee ran out as i went down to get my morning joe, the breakfast area was over crowded and not well managed. They continued to run out of food and coffee and we ended up going out for breakfast in town. Location of the hotel is ideal but overall not a good experience at all.

Check in was very uneasy, front desk clerk wanted to argue about the parking fee that was included in the third party fee. She removed the free water and snacks from the front desk hours before shift change. Her attitude overall was not great for customer service. Valet was great, Breakfast was fabulous, Ms. Sharon had great energy and was very pleasing to everyone.

It would've been nicer if we were able to check-in earlier than the 4pm time even though we were also able to stow away our luggage in the meantime. It would've been more convenient since we're traveling with kids.
- 4/5
Clean, available early
- 5/5
Normally, I'd lightly review and go e this hotel 4 stars. However, there is a wonderful staff member, Nancy. She set up breakfast. She helped my eight year old son above and beyond! Brought him fresh grits and butter. Helped him make multiple things (he didn't want my help). I appreciated her helping my son feel indepent. Defintely a highlight ofbmy trip.

- 3/5
There was no dental kit when I asked for one
- 5/5
Beautiful clean spacious hotel room. The staff was super friendly. Check in early was easy and a hot breakfast was ready when we had to leave early around 6:30. I cannot say enough about this hotel we would definitely be likely to stay there the next time we visit Savannah.
- 4/5
We went for my son’s wrestling tournament. The hotel was walking distance to downtown & River Street. The hotel was very clean. Only complaint would be $49 to valet was only option for parking or find parking on your own. Hotel staff was no help with that.
- 5/5
Very good service especially the manager
- 4/5
The room was super clean.
- 5/5
The hotel was spotless, and it was located in the historic district, near all attractions.
- 5/5
The hotel is a regular, well maintained hotel with normal small issues. The staff however went above and beyond to make our experience great. Help with a room after booking issues and everyone went out of their way to be friendly with our family. Good hotel, exceptional staff and if we ever visit Savannah again we will be staying here no matter what!
- 5/5
The staff, so so nice and helpful. From the first day till the last. Also, the breakfast, in the room, helps to have everything on time and full of food
- 5/5
Courteous staff and room was very clean.
- 1/5
We paid for this hotel but when we arrived there were vagrants dangerous looking people everywhere.. parking was almost as much as we paid for the hotel room so we drove away and just ate the money.. decided to chalk it up to a learning experience. Never returning to Savannah again. This is the second time in 6 month maths we’ve experienced this in Savannah. We recommend you PASS on this town that used to be beautiful and safe. Those days have passed.
- 5/5
- 5/5
Wonderful overnight stay, near all the top spots in Downtown Savannah- shopping, River Street, Savannah Civic Center, and tons of restaurants. The best part is you can walk to all of the above. Recommend purchasing parking in advance.
- 3/5
The room itself was good, however there were no towels, the mini fridge didn't work. With the exception of maintenance the staff was very unfriendly and not accommodating or helpful at all!!!
- 3/5
The staff was great. But upon arrival the room was not clean. We had pubes on our toilet and on the walls of the showers. They moved our room and then that room had mold all in the fridge. Amazing location staff was great and breakfast was really nice to have every morning. The only issue was the cleanliness of the rooms upon arrival
- 4/5
There was a lady at the front desk that would not call a cab for me. This was very disappointing. She was so rude 😒
- 5/5
Definitely would stay again.
- 4/5
Room clean. Refrigerator froze the milk we put in it. The stopper on the sink did not stop the water draining out.
- 5/5
Yes, perfect and the staff was very accommodating.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff and awesome waffles for a breakfast
- 4/5
All was very good except the too expensive parking fee. That's a no go!!!
- 2/5
Beside the good location and the fantastic breakfast staff Monia, everything else was either very poor or below average. Check in time at 4pm is already late compared to other hotels, we got there at 425 and the room was not ready, while other 5 parties got the room immediately. The staff was not apologetic at all and seemed really bothered that I was even annoyed. They were really rude and unhelpful. Their excuse? They were overbooked. Well that's not my problem is it? That't their management and booking system problem. I still pay full fare! This is also despite the fact that I had done the online check in the night before. What's the point of doing that if then you are 1. late and 2. still asking me the same info on the day....and twice! When I tried to give my phone number as per their request and I started with an the international area code (as we don't live in the US) they rolled their eyes and scoffed "never mind". Are you serious? Never again a Fairfield Inn or a Marriot
- 4/5
L’hôtel est parfaite , bon lit, bien insonorisé, propre. Le seul point négatif est le prix du stationnement 48$us abusif .merci
- 5/5
The staff was very courteous, and the room was very clean
- 3/5
It was ok. Parking was ridiculous. One night $48.00!
- 5/5
Great service
- 4/5
Although the staff were great, housekeeping was not. Five days before our room was cleaned and fresh towels we didn’t have to get ourselves. I complained twice before anyone came to our room. We emptied our own trash. I did get a flatter pillow from housekeeping, something the front desk would not do for me. The location is great! Overall it is clean they just don’t clean your rooms. I think they are used to quick turn around and we stayed a week. I did expect more from housekeeping. We didn’t even have any bath gel. Good thing we had our own.
- 4/5
This is a really nice hotel, hands down. My room looked over MLK Jr Blvd, which is an extremely busy street, so it was a bit loud, though that is not the fault of the hotel. My only other "complaint" was that the bed pillows left a bit to be desired, but that's a personal preference. Otherwise, I was very pleased with this hotel and would not only recommend it to others, I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Clean rooms , nice breakfast with options. Good location to walk to the riverfront and near by restaurants all walking distance
- 4/5
The location of this property is in a very good location. It's walkable to the many shops and attractions. The manager on duty, Sapphire was very responsive and professional when I approached her regarding concerns I had within the fitness center. She listened and addressed my concerns immediately and it remained the same way throughout our 4 days. The parking attendant Porsche was also professional and attentive when we arrived and when I needed items out of our car. Strongly recommend this property.
- 5/5
Parking was bad
- 2/5
I will not recommend Fairfield Inn and Suites.
- 4/5
Otherwise it was an excellent hotel.
- 4/5
Room was good but there was no shower curtain. Parking is pricey but there are on street or cheaper paid lot options nearby. We parked on the street.
- 1/5
The room was dirty. The shower curtain was torn. The tub was filthy. There were small bugs outside the tub on the floor. The doors had finger prints and looked like they have never been wiped down. I knew as soon as I walked in for check in to lower my expectations. The front desk was scuffed up. It smelled like sewage. Thankfully, we were only there to sleep and leave early in the morning after a shower. I personally would never stay there again. The concierge knew nothing about street parking or the rooms. He also charged me for the room when I prepaid. Thankfully, I caught it before I left. There are better options around from previous stays in Savannah.
- 5/5
Wonderful location. Very clean and modern hotel. We did park in public parking garage across the street from hotel for $12 per day. Love the very updated bathroom-shower. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Parking an issue for sure.
- 4/5
Great hotel.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5
Hotel is walking distance to many of the sites and sounds of Savannah: the Riverwalk, the Historic district, the Catholic Cathedral. Valet parking is expensive, but worked for the three days we were there (we only needed the car when we drove to Fort Pulaski for a tour as well some of the other islands south of Savannah. Everything else was enjoyable steps.)
- 4/5
It was close to all of the things to do in the historic north district. I gave you 3 stars because you charge 45 dollars per day for parking when the public parking across the street is 10 bucks
- 4/5
Friendly Staff. Breakfast better than expected.
- 5/5
Excellent location, great breakfast, cleaneleness.
- 5/5
Friendly and informative staff and the rooms were clean.
- 4/5
😀
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay. The room was great, there was dining within walking distance and the free breakfast was very good. I would like to mention the agent at the front desk; I believe her name was Janeria. There was a mix up on my parking expectation and I was getting very frustrated. She kept her cool and remained friendly and professional throughout. She was happy to help me figure out Uber and gave us multiple options for dining.
- 4/5
You have to pay to park at your own hotel that is stupid. Other than it was good
- 4/5
clean room and convenient
- 4/5
The stay went well but I don't like eating breakfast around someone's dog.
- 4/5
clean, staff friendly
- 2/5
Check in was chaotic and staff was not friendly. As well, when I had called ahead the staff was very short and would not confirm that I had prepaid for the parking in advance. There was a charge that I was misled on a purchase; however, I did not bother with that as I just wanted to depart. Breakfast was very basic; but, okay. I would not stay here again. Thank you.
- 4/5
Overall great place to stay downtown! All the breakfast staff and parking staff was amazing! Some of the desk workers were not very friendly but a couple was wonderful too. Everything was clean and nice. The only issue we had was none of the trash cans had bags, so we had to use our own because we didnt want to put food and sticky stuff straight into the can. The pool was great too.
- 5/5
Hospitality was great!
- 2/5
Hotel was close to everything and usually a favorite of mine. This time i received no housekeeping after 3 requests and the forced valet parking situation was unbearable. Waited a full 30 mins after i was told ir was ready only to watch all othee guests be served after me
- 5/5

Nice friendly staff & a good breakfast! There is a beautiful Lilly Pad pond in the back that sits on a golf course. Enjoyed my stay.

Nice place
- 5/5
The ladies at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful. They salvaged our trip.
- 1/5
Our room was filled with mold. The smell literally made me sick to my stomach. I called and asked to be transferred to another room. We were told their were no more rooms. We went back down to the lobbx. We waited about 30mins to get a new room. Once in the room I noticed dog hair and human hair all over the floor. I took pics of the mold and hair. This was very inconvenient hence we traveled for 4 hours to be moved around due to the room not being up to par.
- 5/5
Our room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. Good location for walking to the historic landmarks and parking was Valet.
- 5/5
Good staff
- 5/5
Excellent overall. Note that valet parking is expensive at $48 per night, but you can park across the street in a garage for $10.
- 4/5
Fairfield Inn was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Bed divine. Everything was clean. There was no caffeinated coffee in our room—a minor issue but an important one for a weary traveler.
- 5/5
They made us feel welcomed and important
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Centrally located, a small walk to River street but close to the City Market and trolley station. Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Very pleasant stay in Savannah.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 4/5
I had a good time with my stay at this location. It’s very convenient and close to everything downtown historic District only a few boxes away from base Street a lot of nice restaurants nearby and everything is walking distance didn’t have to walk longer than 15 minutes to get to everywhere I wanted I would recommend and I would stay here again
- 5/5
Very good quiet location . Walkable to main attractions in city center. Very nice parking service and great breakfast buffet.
- 5/5
Pleasant stay
- 4/5
Breakfast was surprisingly good, the staff was friendly and i would book this property again
- 5/5
Great service. Breakfast really good to start the day. Convenient location. Front desk very informative and great knowledgeable of the historical points.
- 5/5
Quiet facility. Staff wonderful. Room nice.
- 3/5
The reason for the okay review was that in the 4 days we spent there, Room 402 had an air conditioning system that was either Arctic or sweltering. No in between. Getting up in the middle of the night sweating when we were paying for a functional A/C, not good. Plus, ran out of toilet paper on day 4, it had never been replenished. If we were to go to Savannah again, we'd stay at another hotel on the same street.
- 5/5
Nice quiet hotel with excellent breakfast. The parking was extremely expensive. We parked across the street which was convenient.
- 5/5
Great staff ..location was perfect
- 5/5
The hotel was easy to find and very nice overall.
- 5/5
Great staff and the breakfast was wonderful. Great value for the price.
- 5/5
The hotel was amazing overall. No compliment. Break was great with many different choices . I looked forward to breakfast every morning.
- 5/5
Excellent Breakfast, Excellent Staff, Excellent Stay!
- 5/5
However, our experience at check-in was less than ideal due to an unpleasant front desk person who made us feel as if we were getting the room for free. Fortunately, the staff member who checked us out was really nice, ending our stay on a positive note.
- 5/5
Very affordable, clean place to stay. Staff was great!
- 5/5
Other than having the elevator to malfunction everything was awesome. Friendly staff and a great breakfast
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay!
- 3/5
Extreme parking fee and water smell is too bad. Breakfast is substandard
- 4/5
The beds were extremely comfortable. Property clean and neat. Good area.
- 3/5
This was an awesome hotel.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, informative & fun. Convenient location, easy access to sights.
- 4/5
The stay was nice I would recommend everyone to stay there when they come to Savannah only problem I had was I reserved a room with the balcony and it was unavailable
- 5/5
Loved it. Friendly. Great Location. Wonderful air conditioning and refreshing pool.
- 5/5
Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and welcomed to the property by whom I believe was a manger on duty, informed of the amenities and even given some suggestions on areas in the city to visit. Great stay, great rooms. Over all awesome experience.
- 5/5
Nice hotel by all the fun shops and parks! Free breakfast was a plus! room comfortably slept all 5 of us!
- 3/5
Front lobby staff was busy talking 2 feet from the desk and didn’t care that I was standing there for 10 mins. Found out they only offer valet at $50 per night and no water or coffee maker in the room. Hotel was in a less desirable area of Savannah. Would definitely not stay here again.
- 5/5
My stay was comfortable enough. The parking was valet only and ridiculously expensive. The breakfast was disappointing.
- 4/5
Stay was good for this price point. Front desk was very helpful.
- 2/5
Just was very noisy and walls thin other than that the experience was great
- 4/5
Hotel is nice and walkable to everything downtown. It does have listed that there is parking, however after booking we found that it was only valet and was an additional $48.
- 5/5
Perfectly kept and up to date location, kind staff and a full selection healthy hot breakfast! Great location from which to explore historic Savannah sights.
- 5/5
Great gluten free breakfast. Clean rooms. Capable staff. Wonderful service. Will go back again.
- 5/5
We have been road tripping for nearly a week through quite a few states and have found this place to be the best! The staff are the highlight - Chantel and her sister Nena were amazing so welcoming and friendly! The breakfast was amazing so many options! Highly reccomend it! Thank you again!
- 5/5
Check-in was great, room very clean, breakfast was amazing! Hotel was close to all the activities we wanted to do and made our stay walkable.
- 3/5
It was really hot and the air conditioner didn't work half the time in our room. Let them know and they sent someone but didn't resolve the issue.
- 4/5
Hotels.com overbooked, and there was no regular king-size room available when I checked in. Front desk upgraded my reservation to a king-size room with balcony with no additional cost. House-keeping staff did not remove the trash in the balcony, but the front desk staff immediately took care of the problem.
- 5/5
Really nice, just needs another elevator.
- 5/5
Great location and room was comfortable
- 5/5
The complimentary breakfast was awesome! Each morning held a pristine nook of fresh fruit, clean area, very well stocked with varieties to choose from. And the grits are to die for!! Fabulous kitchen staff!! I have already recommended this place to friends and it will be my go to spot from now on! The location is perfect! Walking distance to River street, downtown shopping, sightseeing, restaurants…everything at the tip of your finger! Nice and very clean rooms! Comfy bed! Spotless bathroom! I enjoyed my stay!
- 5/5
Wonderful location and good breakfast!
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. There were numerous options for breakfast. Within a short walk, there were many dining and shopping options. The valet service was quick and friendly. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
- 5/5
Great hotel in the historic district. Highly recommend!
- 4/5
Did not see the parking was so high
- 2/5
The sleeper sofa was unsleepable . It was nothing but springs and it had food crumbs in it. It was difficult communicating with housekeeping staff because none of them spoke English. Valet parking was very expensive and they were very slow at retrieving vehicles.
- 3/5
Now for the Negatives: Unfortunately I am certain that I will never book reservations here again. When I booked my reservation I was given a price for my stay. When I reviewed the location before booking, it says “parking available”. Unfortunately when you get to the location, there are people to take your car to parking garage and charge you $43. a night! So at 10:30pm I wasn’t in a position to find parking elsewhere. The next morning, I couldn’t go to my car to get my sunglasses and phone charger because they demanded that they bring my car to me to get my stuff then go to park my car at some unknown place. The workers then ask you for tips. Fast forward to checkout, I was charged $48. each night for my stay for parking. Thankfully I had the extra $96.but to realize you don’t have any other options available and not being told this when making a reservation is wrong!

Close to Mercer Theater and restaurants

The valet parking scene was a mess, though— a terrible set up for traffic flow.

The check in front desk personnel were very attentive and made me feel welcome. They answered my questions with patience and to completion which made me feel attended to. Thank you for your hospitality. The location was perfect to be close to where we needed to be. The pool was a nice perk especially the hours that it was open. The rooms were clean and spacious.

The staff was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. I arrived early and they were quick to help me store my luggage and valet my car so I could walk around and explore Savannah until my room was ready! Also a great location and walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants!

The breakfast bar was well maintained, kept clean and the food was fresh. There is a lot to do within walking distance. We walked to the ghost tour at night. The only thing we noticed afterwards was all the homeless came out to sleep on all the benches near the hotel and the smell of urine was so strong when we went to Walgreens.

The Front Desk staff didn’t know how to conduct check in. The valet parking which was our only parking option was very disorganized and slow. Definitely would not stay there again.

Four friends and I flew in from VA, MA, NC, and GA to see the Savannah Bananas. We splurged on special tickets to meet and greet players before the game. On game night, my friend got one cryptic text in reply to her request for our car. (“We received your request.”). We waited forty minutes, then found the valet, who told us he had put the car outside when he got the text! We found the car in the narrow alley by the hotel, surrounded by cars on both sides, as checkins arrived on a busy Friday night. After another half hour, we found him and he moved a car so we could get out. The valet service seemed understaffed for a busy night. We had a few minutes at our long-awaited meet and greet but missed most of it. When we returned, my friend waited with the car for him to park it. She gave him her key, but the next morning, it was still parked on the street! He said he hung the key on the wrong hook. We also found out that our friend prepaid for valet parking with her registration and was charged again at checkin! Attempts to resolve the double charge have failed. Marriott says it is Fairfield’s issue to resolve and vice versa. This experience ruined what could have been a decent stay, although my room had no body wash or hair dryer. Desk staff was pleasant and helpful and breakfast buffet was well stocked. Location and price were good for historic area.

Did not care for location. No bar onsite as in description of hotel, valet took a long time. Breakfast was really good though, and the hotel was clean.

Overall it was okay, not my favorite hotel. I paid $60 for parking through this app, but when I got to the hotel, parking with them was only $45 so don’t add it through the app. Be sure to ask for other pillows because they are all too flat. They definitely need new hair dryers because mine was rattling and felt it was about to start a fire. The bed was comfortable just need different pillows. The shower was pretty good and clean.

Convenient and less expensive. Didn't use the pill but it looked good. Parked across the street which was inconvenient but much less expensive.

The hotel was clean and quiet as well as the room. The hot breakfast included had a variety of items and was good. The problem was no hotel parking. You could with valet or find parking in a garage across the street or on the street behind it. The garage across the street is only open to jury members during the week. It was inconvenient to stay there.

Customer service was outstanding. Location is near many restaurants, shopping and bars. The valet service was excellent. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean. I would recommend staying here.
