Room had a lingering trace of cigarette smoke even when the policy clearly prohibits smoking. No refund was given despite the fact I did not stay there because of the smell of smoke.

It was dirty and run down. One tiny silver of soap. Not even a hair dryer in the room. No coffee maker and no coffee (or breakfast) in the AM. For $124.00, definitely not worth it.We moved out the next day to a much nicer hotel across the street

This place is disgusting. The room, bedding, and air conditioner smelled of smoke. We left with our clothes reeking of smoke. The room was not clean, did not take our shoes off. The bottom of the bathroom door had been chewed off. Stains all over the shower and the lamp shades had water stains. Did not feel safe at all, not even allowed in the lobby area, even at check-out in the morning. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

First day I have checked in ac didn’t work, they moved me in another room first night it was great until second night water it dripping from ceiling in the middle of the night and they moved me again in another room so it wasn’t my best time with them unfortunately

Low water pressure and the hot water didn't last long at all during the day and the bed has this metal cover that covers the bottom of the bed sounds like a gong being struck Everytime you get in or out of bed

No breakfast at this location . It was just dirty I had to clean my own room properly. I was told I had to ask for service even though I left the sign off the door. White guy at desk is rude and a liar.

The location was fine. The room was clean. It was not extremely loud at night. The staff was great My bathroom door had a huge hole in the bottom as if something either tried to chew or kick their way out. The pillows were very flat and no coffee pot was in the room. Two of the lamps did not work

We checked in and in ten minutes checked out, I assume I lost my money but I really don't care. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place. WHAT WAS I THINKING ? You get what you pay for.

I didn’t like anything about the property the pictures were not what I saw in person when I drove there it was filthy inside and the hot water didn’t work and bums were outside and drug dealers the hotel didn’t even let you come inside the building you had to stand outside I saw mold bathroom it’s just nasty

The shower ran fine but there was hair on the floor and in the shower, so it did not feel very clean. During the night, there were several instances where me and my companion were woken up by an insanely loud "bang" or slam. Overall, it was not worth the small amount of savings offered by Econo Lodge.

The room was just average but it was very nice and cozy it was even handicap accessible which was a plus with me even had a shower chair for people who can't stand that's a plus in my book any day you really can't beat it for the price.

Could not sleep due to yelling, screaming. Constant foot traffic outside door, anf constant door slamming. Had a second floor room On the backside of the building which was dark, scary and felt remote. Felt very j safe here I do NOT recommend this place…unless you’re looking to make a drug deal.

It’s what you would expect for the money. Don’t stay here if you want a clean room bathtub or bed. The place in general is dirty and seems to have a group of people that leave something to be desired. All in all it’s cheap and for what you pay I guess it’s ok but if you think you’re getting a great deal on a good hotel , well that’s not the case. It’s cheap and you should know what to expect

Econo Lodge was okay for my stay I just don't like how the prices go up and down and if you stay out there for a while how can they charge you extra on the weekend I mean just the only thing I don't like about them inside besides sometimes you get a room that you're your air conditioner don't work it don't have no heat but you know they'll give you another room sometimes you might get one refrigerator don't work right but other than that I had all right stay but the first time I ran in the room there they gave me a room with a dog sit in it like dog piss like so but he changed my room for me

This property should be shut down for how filthy and disgusting it is. The ceiling had holes in them. Bathroom was covered in mold. Holes in the comforters and water in the floor from a leaky mini fridge. We didn’t last 8 mins in this dump and they still charged me $115 !!

This hotel is in great need for an immediate renovation. Both my lamp shades were dirty and had mold residue. The floor tiles are coming up in some areas and pose trip hazards. The room smelled of smoke and dingy overall. When I arrived home I could still smell the odor on my clothes and my CPAP machine. I cannot say that the shower was clean because there was a dirty soap left on the dirty shelf in the shower. My bedspread had several cigarette burns and my room was a non-smoking room. While the shower head was dated the water was hot. The hotel is in a great area for shopping and dining. This hotel was not worth what I paid through Expedia. I wish there was a selection to upload the photos I took of the room.

The lobby door was locked. No one was there. Sign said no power and no rooms. I could not check in and I drove back to the highway and slept in my truck at a rest area.. Someone should have let me know Econo Lodge was shut down !!

Check in was quick but when asked to change to a front of building room, I was told none were available. There was maybe 10 cars in the lot. Room floor seemed like it has never seen a mop. Room had a mold smell to it. You definitely get what you pay for.

I decided to stay in Savannah for another night so I booked the same hotel for the 2nd night because the bed was comfortable. The new room was cleaner and bed still comfy but the fridge was very noisy for some reason. Staff was nice at check in though and I mostly look for a place that's affordable and close to SCAD and has a comfy bed so this ticks all those boxes. If you are looking for something fancy, this is not it but if you want a comfy bed, clean (for the most part) and won't break the budget, Econo Lodge Savannah Midtown is a good place to stay.

This hotels needs to be torn down they have spiders and roaches and the walls are falling apart I will never go back I don’t recommend it for anyone idc who you are.

The location is OK, but the building is very outdated and sketchy. The rooms were OK. I probably will not stay back in this hotel again. We make several trips to Savannah and Tybee a year. Most definitely will not be staying here again.

The room looked fine, but we found that the bottom of our feet were black when we walked barefoot at night. The bed mattress needed to be replaced as the mattress was warped or had an indent in the mattress that cased each of us to roll toward the center no matter what side you laid on. Staff was friendly. No hair dryers. Strange people would sit on the walkway as we were the last room before the parking lot. These people did not stay at the hotel they were from the area. We did not feel comfortable.
