    Quiet location, friendly staff Room was under renovation , found a screw in the shower along with its plastic cap, found another screw in the bedroom floor, shower grab handle pulled from the wall easily due to screws not going thru the plastic expanders in the tile walls. took my issues to the desk clerk and while not an issue with me directly , it could of been to someone with kids. staff offered to change my room but no need. i do wish the AC unit would run continuously as i like a cold room with some white noise but not a deal breaker.

    Check in was great but then it went downhill from there. Room was older but mostly clean except the bathroom. It was Picked up but not sanitized like it needed to be. The shower could have used a lot more cleaning. The shower door would not stay closed so we had to wedge it with something so it wouldn’t roll back open. Shower doors are glass and were not wiped down at all. The hotel itself was great decor and a great atmosphere. We had a 3 night stay and there was only 2 towels in the room which is fine for a 1 night stay. I went down to the front desk the 2nd night and asked for towels and was told they were out and would have some sent to our room 1st thing in the morning. So we reused towels that night. No towels by 10 the next day when we left and we didn’t return til 8 that night. Still no towels. Went to the desk and again asked for towels. She asked if we asked for towels which we did from her the night before. She said she would see if she could find someone to bring some up. By 9, still no towels. I go back down to the desk. Different lady there. I asked if they were having our towels sent up. She asked if we had asked for towels and I said we did. She apologized and said she was not aware and nothing was noted on my room. She told me she would bring them herself and she did. By this time it was 10 at night just getting a shower. We went to checkout the next morning at 5:40 and no one at desk. There was a basket that said please leave keys here upon checkout.

    The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and surrounded by other hotels and services, making it an excellent choice for travelers. The room was spacious, comfortable, spotless, and exactly what I expect from the DoubleTree brand. The only downside was the check-in experience. We arrived around 11:00 PM after a very long trip and were greeted by a front desk associate who seemed exhausted and uninterested. Even after mentioning that I am a Hilton Honors member, the interaction felt cold and impersonal. We were simply asked for an ID, and although we were eventually offered the famous DoubleTree cookies, it felt more like an obligation than a welcome. I have stayed at many Hilton properties over the years, and this was the first time I did not feel genuinely welcomed upon arrival. Fortunately, the excellent room and overall property helped make up for that disappointing first impression. I would stay here again, but I hope future guests receive the warm hospitality that Hilton is known for.

    On a side note, maintenance has a couple things to fix, an entire section of tile is missing at top of shower wall, also gapping hole where wall and door jam meets in bathroom and box between bedroom and sitting area where maybe a smoke detector was or should be with exposed wiring. But none of these things effected our stay.

    I arrived late and a bit overwhelmed having just missed my flight. The woman at the front desk was amazing! She was kind, compassionate, and eager to help me find a room and also to make sure that I was set up on the airport shuttle in the morning. This is a place I would come back to.

    I made 2 reservations a month prior to our arrival. We drove 10 hours and arrived at this hotel around 10:15p, only to be told the front desk representative only saw one of our reservations. She basically informed me they were overbooked and there was nothing she could do. I immediately accepted the one room and called hotels.com. After about an hour on the phone with hotels.com the representative was able to contact the hotel directly and luckily got the night auditor who informed the hotels.com representative that he showed both reservations as being checked into (we were only in one). He wasn’t sure what happened with the prior front desk representative but he was able to get us into our other room (around 11:30/11:45p). It appeared the prior front desk representative had alternate plans for our second room, but thankfully Daryl (night auditor and hotels.com resolved the issue).

    Hotel was under renovations & our room was not cleaned very well. Fire alarm was still covered in blue painters tape, dust was all over, shower had hair in it, sink counter was dirty as well. My daughter & I got stuck in the elevator pressed the help button as well as the alarm button but nobody apparently heard it. I managed to get it open once I realized that the inside set of elevator doors did not close all the way which is what caused the elevator to get stuck. Spoke to the front desk about it & they were very apologetic. The manager did call me & he refunded me 1 nights stay which was more than enough for me. Overall aside from these mishaps I would definitely stay here again as the location was great, staff was friendly, manager made it right & I understand that during renovations issues may occur.

    Arrive for 1 night stay before flight next day. Key card system was down and after taking my wife to the airport and returning. I called the front desk to let me back in my room, gentleman never asked my name and met me at just let me into the room, not very safe or secure.

    Upon arrival staff at desk was very friendly and accommodating. Once we got into our room it was half cleaned there was trash still in garbage bins. Floor not vacuumed sink and toilet NOT CLEAN. Room smelled like cigarette smoke ( non smoking room) ask housekeeper to empty trash threw up her hands and said no. Was given another room shower leaked had to use towels for floor. Again front desk was very nice housekeeping negative zero.

    The property is in extremely bad condition. Lack of cleanliness. Disgusting. The bathtub was black, the walls stained and paint peeling off. The carpet was showing stain, dust, spots. What a terrible experience. The staff didn’t care once we brought this to their attention. I hope everyone read this review and refrain to book this hotel. For no reason you should stay here. I will rate zero stars if possible !!!

    There needs to be more parking avaialble! There was an area that was blocked off by fences. It appears that there is construction going on, so parking was very limited. The room was very nice and spacious and the staff was very nice!

    I had an unusual request for the Doubletree, and they exceeded my expectations. I wanted to meet my son's family with 3 small children In Savannah where they flew in for a wedding from LA. I needed maximum floor space and seating arrangements for the visit and access to great dining. The suite room was extraordinary. The dining room was terrific, with quite a great chef on duty when my family arrived at the end of breakfast. The staff pushed two tables together, had highchairs available, and made ordering for a big family ideal. The room was outstanding, the lobby was gorgeous and comfortable, and I could not believe how "on target" our request for floor space/visiting space was mediated...we all just loved it!

    The room had just been renovated so it was very clean and up to date. I would have given a 5 star rating but there was a little mishap with my early 4-4:30 am ride to the airport.     The rooms were not clean. The couches were filthy. The refrigerator and microwave were both dirty and had food in them. The second floor was under construction and no one said anything there was just loud banging early in the morning. Tonya the front desk was the only good part about the trip. There was someone who just walked into my room in the morning without announcing who they were while I was getting dressed. If it was housekeeping they did not say who they were so I have no idea who walked into my room. This hotel just makes me feel okay and the night auditor was just rude.

    The parking was free. That’s a plus. They front desk employees could have been nicer. They should not be wearing sleeping scarfs when they come from the back. They also didn’t want to print me a reciept. The rooms are out dated. You can hear the people talking in the next room an others walking in you head. This was not a great experience. I was not offered the warm cookies. I give this hotel a 3 star. I won’t be back.

    Breakfast good. Room very musty. Mattress stained. Sheets clean bed comfortable. Big bug in bathroom. Worst part for me was fact that I asked 2 people if the shuttle to airport would be on time to get us to airport. Both assured us yes. Well nothing came and they said oh I forgot driver off. We’ll see what we can do!! Bad. Called an Uber and made it just in time. Never again this place !

    Offered cookies nor given our breakfast tickets, had prepaid for breakfast. Waitress never explained how much we could have, it was a limit of $20 per person. A lot of items were not available, even though they were on the menu. Tip was not included. So extra expenses. In the room, one bed was missing a bed skirt, the other beds bed skirt was heavily stained on top. The ice bucket was dirty. We wore our socks or shoes in the room as we weren’t sure if the carpet had been cleaned. Stayed 2 nights and my bill was $849. Booked through Travelocity which seemed like a deal but by the time the breakfast, taxes etc were added on, we could’ve stayed in a higher end hotel. Staff was generally friendly and attentive. Later check out time was appreciated.

    This property had good reviews and we picked it because DoubleTree has a great reputation. This property is in poor condition. Rooms are very outdated. Bedding was clean but pullout bed mattress was dirty and their bed in a bag sheets seem rarely used so they had a very bad smell. It was nice to do the self check in and check out through the app since we got in at an odd time but we did not feel safe because staff is not always at the front desk and anyone can walk in the elevators and go to any floor without any security feature. The pool was green and gross. We used the laundry room on the first floor and the floor smelled of urine. The only thing good about this place was the staff who went above and beyond. I would not stay here again.

    My room had to be swapped because the first room’s toilet was covered in dried urine. The seat was up and the inside of the bowl had black streaks running down the bowl from old water sitting in it without being cleaned. While calling the front desk, I also noticed the side of the bed had stained sheets that were not cleaned. Staff did not seem to care much, no apology but they did promptly change the room. The second room had belongings of a previous guest on the chair at the desk. Air vent was caked with BLACK MOLD which also crept onto the curtains above it. All the bottles in the bathroom were empty. Sink faucet was so high & water pressure was so strong that every time you turn the water on, water splashes EVERYWHERE & soaks all of your things on the counter. Strange man was in the parking lot lingering around cars asking very suspicious questions to us making us feel very unsafe. But the cookie was good. Lobby was nice.

    Excellent check in. Room was spacious and clean. The only problem we had was when we pulled the top covers back on the beds both beds had some sort of crumbs on them. We would have asked for clean sheets but it was already 11:30pm and we had to check out at 3:45am. I slept on top covers and my daughter chose the couch. The younger ones wanted to swim but chose not to because the water was very cloudy. For the short time we stayed it wasn't horrible but probably would choose a different place next time.

    The area was great for shopping and restaurants. However a couple of the customer service representatives need a little etiquette training. But from the behaviors of the staff I can only assume that the manager is okay with his or her staff eating at the front service desk while they talk on the phone and check guess in. And then the next day there was another staff member at the front bar on the staff side eating away. They both were visible to all guess as they walk through. Which is one reason we chose to eat elsewhere not sure of the proper food handling if other etiquettes aren't required. Maybe certain job etiquettes aren't required anymore as things have changed; I guess we need to more careful as to which Hilton hotel we choose. BTW what happened to only eating at your lunch break? Oh I forgot to mention how long I stood there before she acknowledged me when we checked in. Maybe it was because I walked in right as the phone rung however she still never said just a minute I will be with; no she continued to chew as she talked on the phone. And then her or I should say someone's food delivery showed up as I continued to stand there and she still didn't acknowledge me until she received her food delivery and finished chewing whatever she was munching on.

    The establishment is steeped in age, with a grimy patina that clings to every surface. The furniture, a relic of bygone eras, appears tired and worn, its fabric faded and frayed. Dust dances in the stale air, settling on corners where neglect has taken hold. The overall atmosphere feels heavy and uninviting, as if the walls themselves sigh in discontent. Unless significant renovations breathe new life into this place, I have no intention of returning.

    Terrible water pressure. Bathroom had hair in it. Beds feel hard / stiff. TV doesn't even pick up local channels and is limited to like 10 total, mostly national channels like Fox News, HLS, Discovery. Parking is plentiful though, especially handicapped.

    The property has not been maintained. It is time for a serious remodel. We also had to clean the filters in the air conditioner bc they were clogged and making us cough. Go look at Room 307 and the wear and tear is obvious. Didnt think it was worth the price I paid. Smh

    Checking in was lovely. Great experience with the nice lady at the front desk. We arrived at 7:30 and decided to order food from the bar/restaurant. Walked over to the tables. There were 7 of us. I grabbed a chair from another table to accommodate four kids. The lady working at the bar immediately came over and questioned if I was moving tables. I responded nicely by saying that I was just adding a chair and not moving any tables. We went to the bar to order food. She asked if we were ordering food and sighed loudly and obviously in disgust when we answered, “yes”. A man sitting at the bar told us that she was the only one working the bar and the kitchen, which was understandably very upsetting and stressful for her; however, her attitude was unacceptable. The food was actually very good for being inside a hotel. But we had to wait more than 40 minutes for a second drink. Weren’t given pens with our check. Had to walk to the front desk to get them after waiting so long. The most upsetting thing was acting so inconvenienced when ordering food after 7:30 (being told several times the kitchen closes at 8) and then observing two customers ordering food long after 8 and being served with nothing but a smile from her. Also watched another couple inquire about food at 7:59 and being told that the kitchen was closed at 8. Being told the kitchen is closed at 8 is not the issue. The issue is observing two customers ordering food in between 8:30 and 9:00 and being served with a smile.

    First off, the dining was out of three major condiments. Second, the men’s room had bars of soap just sitting on the countertop and paper towels just sitting there. It doesn’t seem right when Covid was and is still running rampant. Thirdly, when in our room and trying to use the facility the toilet paper holder was behind you and not very accessible. This seems much more appropriate for a lower class hotel and not a Hilton.

    Now if you're going for an indoor pool in the Winter it's more so indoor/outdoor because they have screens from the Patio you can go to. So the pool room was very cold but the water was hot. The kids stayed in not long we were scared they’d get sick.

    The room was situated all wrong with the TV right in front of the bed and chairs and couch in the other room. No place to sit. The ice machine was out of order. The restaurant was out of most of their food from very limited menu. Not as if it was following a busy weekend. This was on a Thursday. The pillows on The bed were flat and gave us both sore necks and headache. The toilet seat was broken and the floor was dirty. Not worth the ,$156 we paid. WE WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN

    This property absolutely is not worthy of the Hilton name. The toilet ran constantly, the bath sink faucet was very loose, the shower water pressure was non-existent, the wallpaper was peeling, there was holes in the walls, no maid service during our whole stay, and the night auditor refused to supply us with 2 extra pillows when we arrived. Our last few stays at Hilton properties have been disappointing and we definitely won't return to this hotel.

    When I entered my room I was surprised how run down the room was. Wallpaper hanging off the wall, carpet coming up in the corners and in the middle of the hallway. I used the bathroom shorty after and the toilet would not flush. I adjusted the float in the toilet and got it to flush. The air conditioning unit in the living room was leaking a brownish liquid and the unit in the on suite was vibrating loudly making it difficult to sleep. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable

    The property was ok. If you need somewhere just to stay, it works. The bathroom still had yellow/brownish stuff around the bottom of the toilet. The carpet had a pick rip in it. There is a Keurig in the room but charge you $3 for a coffee downstairs. The breakfast was ok also. The omelet and potatoes were greasy but the pancakes were good and so was the breakfast burrito.
