The pictures are kind of deceptive. It was only one night so it was fine for us. But the bed sheets had stains, no shampoo or conditioner or even hand soap was provided, only two towels, the floors were dirty and we saw ants crawling on the ground, the main lobby with breakfast was burning hot no ac, breakfast was barley anything more of an on the go type situation. Had ann early 8am wake up call from someone’s dog barking outside of our door. Our friends also stayed in another room had the same issues, and their hair dryer didn’t work, the ac does get super cold, and the beds are comfortable. Like I said it was okay for us as it was just one night and we needed a place to sleep. But I’m not sure I’d book a longer stay. It’s more so a Motel setup vs a Hotel setup.

The only thing I like was the fact that they supplied us with towels I didn't like the fact that the pool area was nasty dirty had nasty dirty socks and puddles of water trash was overflowing none of the outlets worked the Wi-Fi didn't work either

The beds were comfortable The pool was ok needs cleaned around it we had our 4 and 6 year old at the pool had to leave the pool with them crying because there were people smoking weed had to ask for towels almost every day in order to get new towels we had to give them our old ones next time I will be finding a better place

The hotel was great for the price paid during Memorial Day Weekend. Hotel rooms were clean, bedding was comfortable, location was convenient.

I liked how cheap it was and how comfortable it was. The staff was not kind, additionally, they woke us up more than an hour before checkout to ask if they could plug up a pressure washer in my room. After being told no, they used said pressure washer loudly outside of my window until we vacated the premises.

The staff was friendly enough but when a noise issue was reported their actions was ineffectual.

The bed was really great. There are a couple of stains on the linen from previous guests, but we are too tired to pay attention to it. The cutlets and omelette for breakfast were great The floor in the room is dirty, the toilet floor is almost like a gas station toilet. I believe it was wiped after the previous tenants, but it should be cleaned, it's just unpleasant to be there. There was only an omelette and cutlets for breakfast, and there were a lot of dirty tables on which there should have been some more food, but there was none. The coffee table looked like it was a student dormitory. I understand that this is an inexpensive hotel by local standards, but that doesn't mean it has to be dirty.

The hotel staff would not provide fresh sheets or additional towels despite our request. We noticed stains on the sheets. Not to mention when I pulled up with my family, there were two girls obviously selling themselves at this hotel

Close proximity to Historic Savanah. Room was clean and decently equipped. There was not a coffee pot in the room, but room close enough to lobby to get some.

I liked my room very much. It had everything I needed, including things I didn't.... blow dryer, fridge, microwave. The beds were very comfortable with a variety of pillows and the linens felt good. I had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The breakfast is convenient and good. I've stayed here twice and will stay again in 6 months. The staff were all friendly. The facility was clean and quiet.

The price was good and the reviews where not bad so I give them a try. I walked in and walked right out The frunture was dirty and broken . Rooms smelled of weed. Bugs on the bed . Floors were dirty. Guy at front desk kept telling me to wait when I wanted a refund and wanted to leave.

Just one dust bin in the bathroom would have been nice but it did not bother as we stayed only for one night. For couple night it would be useful.

This is a motel for prostitution I was under the impression that the hotel was a nicer version of days inn huh! More like a motel 6! Cabinets falling apart! Dirty pillows! Non working appliances our phone or microwave did not work! Ughh

The staff was amazing. A few minor hiccups, the blow dryer didn’t work but i improvised . And there was a stench in the room. But I am pleased and would stay again.

The room was not like the picture on hotel.com. The bed base was made of tin and if you happen to bump into it the sound was just like a drum it was awful. The floor had scratches all over what was suppose be linoleum floor. Towels were not soft were hard. Breakfast was said to be the best ever, it was not eggs watery sausage swimming in grease, orange juice looked dark, bread hard, not what I expected for breakfast. Entrance door to your room was dirty. I would never book this Day’s Inn again.

The agent at check in was very nice Everything other than check in was horrible. The floors were dirty. The linen had hard stains on it. When I wake up and turned on the light there was a roach crawling on the nightstand .

Shortage of towels and shower products

Room was not very clean. The floors needed moping. We had neighbors who were loud all night long with talking and music until atleast 3am. One of our pillow cases even had a footprint on it.

Staff was friendly,and helpful.getting there late and easy checkin. Our tv remote didnt work but they replaced next day..suggest take what you need bathroom wise. Breakfast was cereal and waffles. Was a get what you pay for type deal.

Days in Review – It was fine for a short stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for more than a night or two. The room had a slight mildew smell and the lock felt a bit odd, but overall it served its purpose. The bathroom was nice. The location is convenient for driving into Savannah, and it provided a roof over our heads.

This place was absolutely disgusting. Filthy. Mystery substance on the bed frame. Urine and other "substances" on the base of the toilet. Make up stains and cigarette burns on the sheets.

Made reservations with request for 2 queen beds, which were only available on the second floor. We were there for a post-op doctor appointment and requested handheld shiwer head and handicap accessible. The 1st room offered had no handheld shower head, so we were sent to another room which didn't have the handheld and reaked of urine... not to mention bithe rooms were on the second floor, so 2 flights of stairs. Not sure how that is considered handicap accessible and "all the rooms on the first floor only have 1 bed". There were 3 if us! Needless to say, we did not stay!!

We booked this hotel after spending all day, moving our son into his dorms only to have to be moved to not one not two but four different rooms all of which had dirt and or blood stains on all the sheets and towels. When we requested a refund, we were denied the refund by both the hotel and hotels.com. We will never book another days in or with hotels.com ever again.

Laminate flooring no carpets. Bathtub had no anti-slip precautions (mat., etc.) one night stay and had two-near incidents of falling.

On today, which is the day I left they were cleaning the concrete at 8am. After hearing the noise this morning instead of staying till the checkout time I got my stuff and left. A lot of improvements need to be made other than putting couches in rooms and power washing the concrete.

It was a over all good stay, they must have just finished some updates in the rooms, as the floor had dirt as well as when i turned the shower, it washed a film of dirt down the drain. But that was the extent of it. Staff was curtious and booking to checkout was a breeze. Would stay again.

We did not stay at the Days Inn. The Days Inn picture on the Expedia showed false advertisement. Because the lobby for one looked nothing like the pictures we viewed on the Expedia website. When we pulled onto the Days Inn premises there were people sitting on the walkways to the rooms like they lived there and not like they were there for a vacation. It did not look or feel like a safe environment to stay in. Also there were random people sitting and walking all around the Days Inn premises staring at us when we got out of the vehicle. And there were people coming into the lobby area, who looked like they were not staying in the hotel, but just came to buy food like crackers, noodles, etc. in the hotel like it was a convenient store. I was afraid for my family's safety and also I didn't want to leave my vehicle unattended for that night, because I didn't see any luxury vehicles like my vehicle in the lot. So, I asked for a refund and they said that they would give me a full refund, but I had to notify Expedia to request a refund, and they would grant me my refund. So, I am requesting a full refund. After that we had to find somewhere else to stay. I did not like anything about it.

Property was being remodeled and it was messy near rooms because they were power washing the whole time we were there. The free breakfast had almost no food. We only got two towels because their dryer was broken and awaiting repair. I would not recommend this for other travelers.

The motel overall is dated. The room looked to have had some new pieces added but still felt old. The carpet had some stains and one of the pillow cases looked to have some cigarette burns.

Worst experience ever. I changed rooms once because the room was dirty to go to another room that was equally bad. The the front desk said they would honor the refund and when I left they denied it from hotels.com. I had a coworker in a separate room and she received a refund and I did not. Her room was equally terrible.

This a less expensive property and it is commensurate with the price paid. A bus is very close by for an inexpensive ride into the historic area, this is very convenient.

We ended up leaving after check in because the room smelled like cigarette smoke, and there were stains on the comforter and pillows. I made the mistake of booking a non-refundable rate through Expedia. Will never make that mistake again.

Gotta be honest because they took so much of my money: the room was totally dirty, had some sort of juice stains through out, hadnt been mopped in a long time, and all the surfaces were unclean as well. I had to go buy disinfectant wipes. When the houskeeping workers came to give me (stained and funky) towels I asked them if they were gonna clean the floor. They literally tried to tell me the floor wasnt stained and "just looks like that" (lol). To demonstrate how wrong I was, one of them started scraping the stain with his shoe. The stain then rubbed off and he then looked a bit embarassed and looked at the rest of the floor. He then admitted it hadnt been cleaned. So it was icky enough that I didnt want to even stay there for one night. I went to inquire about a refund since I hadnt unpacked my bags. The check in person working at night was very friendly. She said she was worried the room had been cleaned gave a partial refund. I was only given back $92 and the room was a whopping $252 total for both nights, which is thievery for a room in that condition. When I got up in the AM and checked out, the person working desk was super rude and yelled at me when I asked if I could review the refund that previous check in worker had initiated. I just dont think this hotel cares about the rooms. I thnk the owners just want money, and are fine with the rip off so long as they are getting money. This kind of scammy stuff is something prevalent in Savannah so watch out!

Hotel was very friendly and respectful. They even remembered me from my last stay. I like to fact that their renovating the hotel but noticed that work was done in the day time not to disturb thee guest. Thank you for another great stay. See y'all soon

The air conditioner/heater did work and kept the room cool during the day and warm at night. The WiFi worked off & on. Room could have been cleaned better. The bedding on both beds were stained. Beds are ok, a little hard. Needs more updating. Reminds me of a very old Motel.

The stay was great the only downfall was the construction the hotel could have put out a notice online stating it was having some upgrades completed; to wake up to drilling an sawing an hammering was kinda of a inconvenience and the breakfast needs a huge upgrading but other than that the staff was great all of them

I told him it was not about drinking coffee or not, it was about good service and courtesy.

No towels bath mat when arrives, when given towels they were stained. One bottle of shampoo and 2 bars of soap. Room was dusty, bathroom smelled of mildew. Very delapadated furnishings.

My son and I have stayed here a few times, but the room this time smelled like cigarette smoke and wasn't cleaned well. There was dirt on the floors and the linens were stained badly. Also, the bathroom wasn't cleaned well.

Room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The tub and toilet were not properly cleaned. Stains on the bed spread. No cleaning service the entire 3 days. Only had two towels when it was a room for 4. Tissue box was empty.

I definitely don’t recommend this property. It was awful.

I got to the motel in the evening and did not realize that the doors actually open to the outside but figured since I was there I would give the room a chance. Check in was pretty quick and easy but upon entering the room, the first two lights didn't work at all and the room smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that I couldn't stay there with my two children. As I was asking for a cancellation another guest came and asked to change rooms because theirs reeked of smoke as well. The surrounding area didn't seem great and I was not willing to stay there as a woman with two kids. Still waiting to get a refund. Also noticed a $114 charge to my card from Days Inn (in addition to the full price I paid Expedia) since getting home. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Never in a million years have I ever just picked up and left a hotel. This place was by far the dirtiest and unsafe place to stay. We checked in and immediately left and booked another place to stay not even 5 mins after getting in the room.

2nd room: missing furniture, cabinets were falling off, a loaf of bread was left on top to the counters (up super high) which caused lots of roaches, stains on bedding, looked like the room had not been cleaned, no ice bucket, broken fridge

It was with a Clorox smell and the floor was dirty, toilet seat looks very bad.

OK, room was a little musty, no WiFi (or at least access was not provided, and I didn't ask).

It was by far one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The room was not clean at all, stains on the walls, floor, bathroom, lamp, chair all of the above. The bed had a huge cigarette hole, how they didn’t see it prior to “cleaning” is beyond me. Two doors down was a party of weed smokers cause the smell never left. Hated this, I was lucky enough to have brought cleaning supplies cause this was absolutely horrible

We were disappointed that the pool was under renovation and not able to be used. It was otherwise very nice and we would stay here again.

its the worst stay at this hotel. the rooms have some bad smell. The wall in the bathroom were with stains. One of the room when we opened we saw spider webs. Phone doesn't work. I would recommend this hotel.

It is an ok room. The room was definitely not clean by any means. The sheets had rips and stains. The toilet, floors, phone and tv remote were visibly dirty. The lamps all had broken shades. There were no towels in the room. We checked in around 7pm and weren’t allowed in the lobby. The woman checking us in was rude and kept insisting that we pay the pet fee for a service dog. Even when I kept saying he was a service dog she started arguing with me because he is a small dog and therefore must not be a service dog. I finally had to tell her it’s illegal to charge for a service animal and he’s medically necessary.

Was a good stay and good breakfast.

I gave it 3 stars because there were quite a few things wrong with the hotel. One is that the keycard reader took several tries before the door unlocked; I even had to push/pull on the door itself really well just to make sure it was securely shut. I had to request more towels for the shower as we only had one in the bathroom. The pool was just absolutely not kept up as it looked like it was not cleaned in a long time so we didn’t even bother swimming in it (we saw nobody else in the pool during our stay). Finally, the breakfast was not great at all; they had very little selection of things to choose from and to make it worse it just tasted weird, even the coffee was just horrible. All in all, I will not be coming back to this hotel in the near or distant future; now maybe if they improve on the things I’ve listed then I may have a change of heart but until then I will be avoiding this place and I highly recommend everyone else reading this review to do the same.
