    The location. The valet gentleman was very nice and friendly. The person working at the bar was rude and said he couldn’t make a cosmo. Then he proceeded to talk over me while I was trying to order snacks. I witness him treat another women the same way when she asked for a rose glass of wine - laughed at her and said we don’t have that here. The pool was out of service and we were told by the front desk it would be closed for at least 5 days. When we looked out the window in our room there was black mold around the seal.

    I expect more from the Marriott brand! The beds were comfortable... but the window in our room was cracked, the air-conditioning unit was cracked, carpet had stains, bathroom baseboard was coming off the wall, toilet ran, toilet was rusty, door in the bathroom had chipped paint.

    I want to start by saying the property was nice and the staff were great. However, there was a lack of attention to maintaining the basics. For example, our toilet kept running if you didn’t lift the handle back up and the toilet seat was broken. Little things like that makes a big difference.

    Staff friendly and kind. The toilet in the room felt like it wasn’t connected to the floor. Lot of Street noise. Room faced the front of the building . Cars and motorcycles sounded like they were racing up and down the street it started 8 and continued until after 1 when I finally fell asleep. We only stayed one night. Thank the lord. I wouldn’t have enjoyed two nights of that shit.

    Pool area was not maintained. Weeds growing ,chairs not arraigned some what stacked on each other,leaves piled in the corners, broken and not working light fixtures. Key reader in elevator did not work. Trash in lobby was not emptied for 2 days. Toilet paper holder in room fell apart. Could go on. When you mention these kind of things to employees they will always say I will tell management. Does it get fixed ,don't know. It's details like this that leave bad impressions with most people.

    The hotel was very clean and modern. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool area was fantastic. It's within walking distance of the city market area ans lots of restaurants. Valet is available, but there is also a very clean public garage right next to the hotel. I would absolutely choose this hotel if I were to stay in Savannah again!

    One small issue I ran into was that the body wash ran out on the second night of my stay and didn’t appear to be refilled. Additionally, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash seemed to be on the lower-quality side. That said, the employees were incredibly nice and attentive throughout my stay, which definitely stood out and made a positive impression.

    Staff was really nice. Good location. But we had a terrible experience with the valet. The night shift valet gave everyone their keys to take back to their rooms then packed the cars so close, you couldn’t easily move it out.So at four in the morning when we had to leave for our flight, the dayshift valet didn’t have the keys to any of the cars nor did he know the room numbers to those vehicles. We literally had to spend an hour trying to inch our car out of a very tight space because we had no other option. If it wasn’t for the caring and helpful day shift valet, I would’ve given this a one star review.

The next morning was followed by a cold shower because there was no hot water. After being out all day we returned to hot water,yes! While taking a shower the fire alarm went off and I had to quickly dress and exit the hotel. When I got downstairs along with many other guests we were told that it was a false alarm and someone was working on the alarm system. On top of all of that the hotel did not make any adjustments to the bill. I will never return and will not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

    Staff upon check in was very unprofessional and lacked the customer service that as a a military veteran that has stayed in many Courtyard Marriotts around the world should be afforded to all customers…my companion and I finally received our key cards but, I as the primary has to tell the front desk clerk that I had purchased breakfast plan but, again the front desk clerk was very short and irritated and seemed upset that she had to look up again and verify that I actually purchased breakfast plan…to me it seemed very disrespectful that I was asked to prove I had made the breakfast purchase but, in my calm demeanor pulled out my confirmation number given via Expedia. Which at the same time the Front desk clerk found I the system that I did indeed purchase breakfast for two and finally issued boy room key and breakfast pass…upon getting to the room I did a quick check but, also noticed we did not have complementary water at least so, I asked my companion to go back down stairs to purchase some water and a snack upon my companion going to lay she overheard the front clerk talking with another customer and telling the customer she was supposed to being issuing out complimentary water bag for the rooms but, when my companion got to the front desk she asked the front desk clerk about complimentary water she again got short and told my companion to stand by and that she had to get more complimentary water bags from the back once she came back she give my companion the bag

    Courtyard by Marriott in the historic downtown Savannah at 415 w. Liberty St. Was absolutely excellent! We'd rented 2 rooms because it was a family vacation. Room 326 & 322. I can honestly speak for all of us when I say that the beds were very comfortable, rooms were very clean, quite & spacious. Our rooms were king bed, sleeper sofa & balcony. I can also speak for all, when I say that the staff, all of them were 5 star & above nice! Sweet Jada at the front desk was so nice & helpful from check in to check out. The blonde haired lady (I'm horrible with names) was awesome even when my granddaughter was all grouchy. Lol. But gave a sword to my oldest grandson & he's still loving it. Honestly everyone at the desk & in the Bistro restaurant there was just amazing! As well as the rest of the staff no matter their jobs. I can not say enough good about this hotel & staff! We stayed a week & we all enjoyed staying there so much! I usually don't leave long reviews but this place is worth one. I will definitely be back & when I do, I will be staying here again. Thank you to every staff member there for being so kind & helping to make our stay above a 5 star stay! Y'all are truly the best & we appreciate it!

    Front desk was nice, bed was comfortable, just too many technical issues with the room. Never had internet and tv never functioned properly. Also never seen a room without an alarm clock, also the room had trash left from previous guest ,also the handle to the balcony door fell off upon first use, and bulbs were missing in the lighting.     The first night was rough, I called earlier for a pack in play, and they told me one would be in the room. We got in late and no pack in play. I called down at the desk and they said housekeeping had the keys and they won’t be in till the morning. A 5 month old slept on the floor with the mother. The next day we got one.

    We are walking distance from everything. The only time we used our car was to drive to the beach! I believe pay to park at the hotel is about $50 per day. We stayed at the parking garage next door(liberty) and maybe paid $20 for 4 nights lol. We checked in on a Thursday and there were not many guests. Friday/Saturday there were more ppl. You can definitely hear the traffic outside but we were so exhausted each day that we crashed easily or turned the tv up. The air conditioning wasn’t the best but it didn’t bother us. Will stay again!!

    Historic section was good location. But, noisy from traffic and cars. Bare minimum in the room. The bed linens were clean and bright. But, the towels were discolored, not thick, not soft. The single sink had very little room. When you washed your face, items on countertop got wet. There was nothing told to us about the in house restaurant and Starbucks. Nothing in the room that told us. Parking was $49/night. The staff told us we could park across street for $25/day. But, we could not find ANY information about this option. We searched online and found $5/day public parking Saturday & Sunday.

    Super frustrating and unprofessional and not a normal Marriott attribute. On the website it said nowhere that there was overnight parking charges. So we were charged an extra $45 to park our car for less than 24 hours. Unacceptable. When we came in the door, soaking wet, to check in, the two ladies at the check-in were very rude. I commented that there was nothing on the website that discussed a parking charge and they seemed not to care in the slightest. Needless to say but we will never be returning to this Marriott.

    We loved the location and staff at this hotel, and bed was comfy. However the bathroom was a hot mess and hazardous. Shower floor was extremely slippery once I used the smallest amount of soap. To the point we had to constantly hold on to the inside rail for stability. Shampoo bottles were 3/4 empty and 2 out of 3 were not even on the wall. The kicker...I got 'locked in' the shower at one point. The door got stuck from the bottom rollers came off their bearings. My husband had to fix it in order for me to get out. Thank goodness he was still in the room! Also saw hair on the bathroom ceiling and walls. Not fully clean. For a hotel, that is not acceptable in my opinion for what we paid. Disappointing.

    The staff here are great. Lee at the bar was awesome. The only real complaint is that the AC didn’t work that well in our room. I think it has a sensor maybe so it shuts off when you aren’t in the room, but it’s HOT out so then when you come back in the evening, it takes till 3am to cool down. People should be able to set the AC on what they want to be comfortable, and everyone is different. Also, Eleik at the valet parking said they “don’t really” get the tips if you tip them on the app, so may want to tip in cash.

    Rooms are very outdated, beds are probably the worst I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. The air conditioning was set to 72 and was 75 when we got in. Dropped it to 65 and only ever got down to 70. Air conditioning was extremely loud all night. The hallways were probably 85-90 degrees at all hours. Overall what I would expect from a La Quinta or Red Roof Inn, not a Courtyard. Very disappointing.

Remodeled within the past three years, however, there was some mold issues in the shower and a toilet seat that required to be fixed or replaced. The staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful.     Bathroom was dirty, metal drain cover remained propped against the shower wall for 2 days. I left a dress in the closet called hotel on way home to have it returned it took 4 days and 4 phone calls to the property to get anything done- Ebony who claimed to be a manager was rude on the phone even hung up the phone on me toward the end of the conversation but was also the only one who actually sent the link to have said dress mailed back on day four. Finally get a link to have my less than 2lb dress returned to find it will cost $24 which is absolutely insane. Thank you but no. Will definitely not stay here again.

    This was our 1st time in Savannah and we were just passing by for the night. The hotel was exceptional. We got a king suite with a balcony. It was terrific. The bed was very comfortable and the facility was extremely clean. I don’t know what the scent was in the building but it was very lovely. We took a walk around town and really enjoyed the vibe.     Because I booked through a 3rd party, my room was in a terrible location, facing the street. I had to deal with street noise all night long. The mattress was horribly uncomfortable. I didn't have restful sleep any of the 2 nights I stayed there. Also, I had to run the water in the shower for 20+ minutes to get it remotely hot. They charged $39 a night for valet parking, which I refused. I parked in the public parking garage next to the hotel for a total of $11 for the weekend. They should stop with the money grab and just offer on-site parking for hotel guests. I won't be staying at this Courtyard by Marriott again.

    Very nice receptionist and valet members. I was disappointed because we selected the hotel and the pool hours were listed as 7am-11pm. Unfortunately when we went to use the pool the evening of our stay, we were told it closed at 9pm. We planned our day specifically to use the pool after our evening events and we're extremely disappointed after learning we would not get to use the pool. We planned for this hotel location specifically for the pool and Marriott name, but won't rely on website information in the future. Very disappointed.

    It was perfect other than I kept getting eaten up by something. My partner was fine but my feet were bitten up every morning. Could’ve just been my room. The staff was really nice and friendly.

    The stay was everything that a 5 star hotel should be. Because of the weather, I couldn't enjoy the pool area which I was really looking forward to as the cleaning crew were a no show even on the next day. Nevertheless, I am sure that the next time, my stay will be perfect.

    Very clean, friendly staff. I chose to valet park, but they have off site parking options. It costs $12 per person if you want their breakfast. Other than the toilet not flushing properly (they sent up a plunger to help) it was nice. You are close enough to walk to the hop on hop off and Savanna History Museum.
