Baymont by Wyndham Savannah I-95

My family and I had a great stay at the Baymont. Very clean comfortable quiet room, excellent breakfast, great coffee and friendly staff. Highly recommend plan to stay again.

The first room that I was given had a very strong odor of weed. We had to switch rooms. The bed in the second room was extremely uncomfortable. But the staff was very accommodating with switching the room

I’ve stayed here many times. Headboard needed cleaning. Drapes in room are dirty. Couch and chair need to be replaced (stained and dirty). Shower head needs changing.

It was clean ( and I am a stickler for this) and the mattresses were comfortable and seemed pretty new. The AC worked properly. No USB ports so you’ll need a block to charge anything. We paid 78 dollars including tax.

We stay here often during our trips because the hotel is lean, economical, and convenient.

Breakfast good, and beds were comfortable. Liked the fact they allowed dogs. Electric outlets in room don’t work. Room and reception area was outdated, and dirty. Coffee was weak, watery. Scary people in adjacent run-down hotel. Not good choice of food restaurants around.

Parking feel safe. The window blinds couldn’t be closed therefore in the am the sun was bright in our face. The pool was not really clean

OUR STAY WAS GOOD, COULD HAVE BEEN BETTERS. ROOM NEEDED TO BE A LITTLE BETTER. STAFF WAS GOOD. THEY TOOK CARE OF THE ROOM EVERY DAY. HAVING TO GET MY ROOM KEY CHANGED A COUPLE OF TIMES.

The room is smells bad as if never cleaned. I would never advice anyone to stay at 2nd and 3 rd floor or any room with carpet. Very stinky and can cause any respiratory sickness. The room bing stinky. The breakfast is not enough, but okay.

Room was clean, parking was good, staff was nice, breakfast was ok, not great. Fitness Center was not good. There was a very musty smell in there even after turning the air on to get circulation, it wasn’t well maintained.

This hotel was ok but seemed pretty dated. The elevator only takes 4 guests at a time and you have to wait a long time for it. The sink in our bathroom had a large crack in it, and the blowdryer didn’t not work and the cord looked like it had melted, and there were some hairs on the floor by the tub. Breakfast was very basic. Beds were comfortable but pillows were lumpy. Staff were helpful though when we needed another blanket and pillow.

We started loading our bags in the car around 8am+-, key card wouldn’t work when returning to room and had to contact front desk to get back in. Told keys were not locked until 11am but not true as we saw another family coming from breakfast area and unable to use their card. We paid for stay until 11 am checkout so we shouldn’t have to contact the front desk just to enter our room.

The room was acceptably clean, though the heater/air conditioner emitted a foul odor. We were thankful it was not needed. The “Buffet” was not the usual. Hard boiled eggs, powdered scrambled eggs, microwave egg sandwiches, cereal, apples, juice, an automated pancake machine that produced two small pancakes, regular pancake syrup (no light or sugar free),coffee, and a few more items. It did not feel like you could put together a somewhat healthy breakfast.

When I first open the door to my room it were an awful smell coming out from the room. I couldn’t find where the smell was coming from. The bed was on a weird metal platform and the bottom, anytime you move around in the bed the platform makes a noise. Luckily I had friends that stays around from the hotel so I left the room and stayed over to their place.

My only real complaint was the cleanliness of the bathroom. There were quite a few remnants left from the previous guest.

We had a safe stay but overall the hotel needs some love. It seems like Wyndham hotels are going down. When you enter the lobby there is a large room leak and was definitely an eyesore. The customer service was good, all the staff were nice. I don't think I would stay here again because of the cleanliness. We had hair on all the beds, and tub was dirty. We also did our own cleaning and sanitation of the room. One of our rooms the AC was leaking all over the carpet, the rooms did not smell clean at all. The air conditioning units in both rooms should be deep cleaned ASAP.

This was our 3rd time staying, we usually come in July but decided to come in June this time, The staff are very nice, cleanliness this time could have been better. my wife had to buy a can of comet at walmart to scrub the toilet and bathtub.Also the shower that is connected to the wall was pulling away from the wall. There are alot of homeless in the area so you have to be carefull at night when walking in the area away from the hotel. We will be back again next year, as the price to stay is very reasonable

Management appears lacking, but well-intentioned front line folks are doing a nice job at this Baymont by Windham. Hotel is in generally good condition, but a little worn around the edges. Front desk receptionist is well-intentioned and hard working. Breakfast and exercise area were "above average" for hotels at this price point

The room was clean. However, it had an odor of moisture. I was told that due to an extended rainy period the filter in the heating and air unit possibly needed replacing. Other than the smell i was satisfied with the room.

I liked the availability of staff when issues arose. However I also found it extremely strange they chose my occupied room to clean carpets, leaving a musty wet carpet smell all night. Also had someone smoking pot on our floor making all the hallways which aren’t air conditioned smell terrible. The elevator definitely needs serviced. The gym and pool were nice. Breakfast left us wanting more variety, but overall a pleasant experience.

I felt disappointed from the door. I overplayed for my stay in comparison to offers made at desk to a walk-in guest and offered on the Website. I logged in for my Wi-Fi and saw the exact cost offered to the individual that followed once. Checked in. The room was missing curtesy clear cups for other than coffee & no bottled water to brew coffee. I’d have to use the bathroom’s water. Also, the bathroom exhaust fan not working at all making bathroom very muggy after a shower; no ventilation and floor slippery from humors caused by lack of ventilation or air condition in bathroom. The bathroom felt stuffy and muggy not a good feeling after a shower at All.

The 1st room assigned the A.C. was not working. The 2nd room the towels had holes in them, the staff spoke very limited English. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

This was just an overnight stay off of 95. The hotel property and room were well kept and clean (to me the most important). But the whole area/neighborhood around the hotel was sketchy, dirty, and had limited dining choices. Even though the hotel was fine, unfortunately I most likely wouldn't stay there again because of the general area.

First walked into room with a horrible stench, bathroom very dirty, mold on tub, shower and toilet. Tile behind toilet built up grime and urine. Mold on the ceiling also paint pealing off ceiling. Every piece of furniture had large stains so we couldnt even sit on them.. Walls and lamps also dirty. The second night our noses and throat burned from the stench we booked a room else where and left a day early. We believe the stench was sewage. We could of asked for another room but read reviews stating people got different rooms with a whole set of different problems. The breakfast is a joke. Stayed Thursday-Sunday and needed a pet friendly room. Staff was nice during check in and the lobby was clean. The room was a standard hotel room and I liked there was no carpet. Upon entrance to the room it smelled quite musty but as if the room was recently cleaned. I know the rooms are pet friendly however if there could be a better cleaning product to clean the pet rooms it would make the stay more pleasant for the humans occupying the room. There is ample parking however we had difficulty finding a space when we arrived back in the evenings due to a motorcycle club staying at the Baymont and the adjacent Spark hotel. The highlight for me was the pancake machine. Fantastic idea and provided guests with freshly made pancakes instead of hard, cold and previously cooked pancakes at other hotels. I hadn't been in a standard hotel room in quite awhile so I'd say the stay was pleasant and I'd stay here again if visiting Savannah because the drive was only 20 minutes to the downtown and River Street.

My husband and I Stayed here for 2 nights while we were in town for a nearby wedding. Checking in and out were a breeze and they were super friendly. We had a room on the 3rd floor and it was nice and quiet. The room was a great size, a tad dated but but the bed/bedding was clean and comfortable. Overall a great experience and good place to rest for the weekend. Only reason I did not rate fully is just because the room needed some updates.

Well, it is a hotel, so you know the level of cleanliness is to be expected. Room was ok nothing major to report I just wish the bedroom floor was vacuumed better. Oh and yes there was not wood floors in my room as the picture indicates, I had carpet. I was located on the 3rd floor. Only 3 floors to this hotel. My husband and I used the workout room. Wall paper was peeling off the wall, there was 4 machines for your use. Breakfast was good - fresh made pancakes, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich, boiled eggs, yougurt, apples, cereal, oatmeal packs. I even liked the juice - O.J., apple, cranberry, lemondade. Normally the juice machine does not taste like they use 100% juice, but Baymont was very tasty.

It was convenient and the staff was nice.

Good value. Our room was spacious & the beds were comfy, we slept well. The bathroom needed some cosmetic touch up, but otherwise the room was in good condition. Breakfast was a plus & started early-great for early bird travelers. There was some hallway noise overnight but in the normal range for a hotel. We'd stay here again.

The staff was unfriendly. This hotel is very old. We had to take Luke warm showers. There was no hot water. It’s 25 minutes from the heart of Savannah. We didn’t realize it was so far from everything.

I didn’t like that the front attendant was on the phone when a customer was present and trying to check in.

Fire alarm inside room went off at midnight, than one, two, three and so on. Told them in the morning and no response. No apologies…..

The property is located close to I95 and that's good. Rooms were clean as well. My problem was that the water never got hot, only lukewarm.

Not impressive from the start. It’s ok but not anymore that 3 stars period. Only way I would stay here again is if the remodeled the rooms.

Mold on the bathroom ceiling, mold in the toilet bowl, dirty bedsheets, dirty furniture, dirty walls, dirty curtains, dirty coffeemaker, dirty towels. I habe pictures of all of it if youre interested. I could never recommend this hotel to anyone.

After checking in, found the room half cleaned and ended up not staying at this hotel. Bathroom obviously had not been cleaned and had used towel and soap in it. Desk clerk offered me a new bar of soap. Really??!! No other rooms were available. I requested a refund and was told he could not give me a refund even though he was able to charge my card initially. Also had to wait 10-15 minutes for anyone to come to the front desk to check me in. Won't be making any other reservations with this chain of hotels.

The beds and pillows were comfortable. There was a place to walk the dog. It was quiet for sleeping until 6am when doors slammed and people with lead feet walking above us. The breakfast was not so great, not even a banana to be had. However, we would stay here again.
