The hotel was very clean, the location was perfect for what we needed, and the staff was amazing!! They were extremely nice and made us and our 3 year old toddler feel so welcome! I can’t thank them enough for their kindness.

First time staying and we will be back. Very clean and well maintained. Great location is you like walking. My only comment is that they "offer" a complimentary shuttle within a 3 mile radius to guests, however it is not as readily available as they make it seem. Definitely have alternate transportation options.

Mold in the showers. Rented a suite. Could have been any king room. Not impressed with the condition of the hotel.

There unfortunately was so much personal conversations amongst the staff at check in, and they were complaining about things which made it very awkward. None of the 3 staff seemed to understand I was a guest and perhaps those conversations needed to wait until I left. Very awkward.

Overall, this hotel met our basic needs, however I found amenities to be misrepresented. There is a daily resort fee for services such as the pool, fitness center, shuttle, and beach gear however the shuttle was rarely available to bring us where we needed so we were unable to use this. The beach gear was first come, first served and was poor quality. We had daily issues with our room keys not working and plumbing issues in our room. The hotel was overall clean and served its purpose, but the amenities were the man draw for us to stay here so I was slightly disappointed.

Inadequate closet. No hanging space. Those knobs don't hold anything, very odd.

The property is in transition of ownership so rooms were nice but the clock didn’t work, there were no coat hangers or coffee maker. It was clean and will be fine once they get things done. The shuttle service was above average!

Lovely location in the arts district. Within walking distance to the Bay park area, fine arts center, Marina and downtown where you can find wonderful restaurants. Although we had a car, it was very convenient to use the shuttle service. The drivers were great to point out special points of interest and got us to/from our destination promptly.

The staff was very friendly.

Rooms were very nice. I just wished they had better outdoor accomodations especially the pool area.The daily breakfast was good even when the chef had to be the Manager on duty. Just a few hiccups with that. overall it was a delightful stay and the location was perfect!!!!

$500/night is not worth the price.

Very nice & great location

The property is centrally located for a visit to Sarasota. We had the junior suite which was spacious and comfortable. The pool and fitness center are very nice. The facility is definitely outdated and nothing “special”, although they try to dress it up with colorful decor. The maid service was subpar, they never came on day one and didn’t come until late afternoon day 2. Neither day did we receive new towels. Remaining staff were all very friendly. It wasn’t a bad stay, but we will likely try a different hotel next time simply because we know there are better in the area.

Staff in the hotel was very nice. Breakfast was very good. We were there and they were painting the pool property does need a little work but very nice place.

Checkin was at 3PM. We arrived at 5PM and our room was not ready. Did not get into our room until 5:30. Hotel said they would deliver 2 bottles of water to the room as well and never did.

My main complaintcis NO COMPLIMENTARY coffee. I,ve never been to a hotel that does not provide coffee. Paid 4.00 each. Also more towels needed upon check in. Only 2 large. Need 4.

Hotel did not have a room even though it was booked and confirmed. They wanted to move me to another property 30 mins east of Sarasota. When I asked them “where the other hotel was?” They told me to “ use my phone and find it myself”. Very rude staff and could care less about the guest. Terrible.

Room was very poor especially for price. Flooring was lifting up off of subfloor, no bureaus only end table with one drawer that wouldn’t close. Traffic noise was awful and room was not ready for 30 minutes after check in time. Room was located on first floor next to bar. Room fees and taxes were not spelled out during reservation- total cost for two nights mid week came to $1000.00- ridiculous.

The ladies at the front desk were super! Tiffany & Julie ❣️ Housekeeping was wonderful. The hotel was nice, bed was comfortable, location was convenient. Shuttle a plus although I wish they had offered initially to pick us up from the airport we Ubered not knowing. The keys kept getting deactivated multiple times which was a bit annoying. Probably 4x and we were here less than a week. Beach items were very poorly kept, chairs rusty, broken, umbrellas the same. Wish they had a better selection and beach wagons would be amazing to put it all in. Wish there was more staff at the restaurant/bar area. Overall great stay!

We were disappointed that the restaurant food was just passable, although it is a convenience if you are too tired to go to a nearby restaurant. Restaurants are not right outside the door. You need to do some walking to get to them which is ok during the day, but at night walking a number of blocks in an area almost empty of pedestrians seemed like it could be unsafe. The hotel provides a free shuttle service which is very helpful but it would be nice if restaurants were closer or the food in the hotel restaurant was better. Our second night we would have tried dinner again, but they were out of the first 3 menu items that we wanted so we called the shuttle driver and went downtown.

It felt like an extension of home. Spacious room with all the amenities. In house restaurant and bar. Shuttle service to city attractions. I would definitely stay anytime I'm in the area

The room was "tired." The A/C didn't work. The room had a combination musty/chemical smell. And, while they supposedly have a restaurant and room service, the front desk didn't seem to know what room service was and the restaurant, which was supposedly open for dinner had no one in it, either as a patron or staff. The parking garage was tight, and the one EV charger charges at an incredibly slow rate.

AC was really good. Good size TV, in good position to watch from the sofa or bed. Staff very helpful. Plenty of free parking. Great location for Ringling Museum and other attractions, and nice walking areas without driving. Breakfast was very good and well worth getting included. It is a coupon for $35 per too, which was more than enough if two.

Never refilled sugar stirrer napkin pkts. Mattress has collapsed, 22 days later and still not replaced. Internet goes off and on every five to ten minutes. The elevators have been out a few weeks.Mgmt says it could take weeks more. Rarely is someone there to assist with your baggage.

Elevator did not work and didn’t get offered a discount. Was charged $100 of fees that where not even explained to us, at least could have taken that off since elevators where not working. Saw a roach in the bathroom. Day lady was really nice but night lady was kind of grumpy

It was nice to have a gym available and it was always empty. Shower was my favorite park, really big and open, bed was super comfy. The elevators were outnof order though and the coffee machine in the room didnt work, but over all it was a pretty nice hotel. One of the nicest ive been too.

Nice Hotel in the center of town. Breakfast, which is included, is a $35 coupon for the restaurant. A lot of excellent choices. They provide free rides around town and bicycles. Pool and gym are nice. I would definitely return.

Although I wish I could give this property a higher rating, I can’t. The staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating. The issues: the room was not cleaned one of the nights. The A/C was leaking water all over the floor & was not cooling properly. The food at the restaurant was good & not over priced. Location is very good & appreciated not having to pay extra for parking.

Perfect choice for my work/stay vacation. Nothing fancy but cozy, welcoming, comfortable and friendly. Great bat with food- food is ok but handy. Drinks and staff great. Many locals even come because its so pleasant and guests chat with one another. There were a fee snafus along the way nut hitel acknowledged and comped a couple of drinks. You cant beat the location and easy parking at the property

The hotel staff (Maria front desk and Rich shuttle driver) set the standard for how guest should be treated. Maria greeted us with a smile each time at the desk, provided us with essentials if needed, and pertinent information about the area. We rented bicycles from the hotel and got stuck in a storm. Rich came immediately to pick myself and my daughter up. He loaded the bicycles and instructed us to stay under protection until he did so. He brought us towels to dry off in the van and instructed us to take hot showers when returned to avoid getting sick! True genuine concern was shown to me and my daughter. The other transport guy was really nice as well but I forget the name. The pool was rather small but that’s ok we spent most time at the beaches. The bicycle and beach chair rentals are an amazing perk in addition to the hotel shuttle (within 3 mile radius). Hotel is walkable to the Bayfront park and lido beach is only a 10 min drive in which you can take the shuttle. Also visited siesta key beach but had to uber there. The hotel was clean and housekeeping popped in promptly to tidy up and replenish essentials. Will recommend this hotel thanks so much Voco staff.

We stayed in room 212. The only complaint it, the tile on the shower floor. The patches where repairs have been made make it look dirty. The floor should be updated to match the rest of the bathroom.

The Hotel is well located, very clean! Love the smell of the body lotion. The room was comfortable and clean, the only thing that wasn’t excellent was that the tv didn’t have connection of internet so only could watch national channels but no Netflix, YouTube, etc. Everything else was excellent including the restaurant, we loved the food!

Nice property on downtown close walk to dining and shopping, I didn’t understand $3 charge for using the coffee machine in the lobby most hotels provide that for free for their guests. They charged me for than extra cup we didn’t get. I spoke to them multiple times a bout this but was never fixed. Would have given 5 starts across the board if not for the nickel and diming.

The location was great. The hotel was clean and nicely appointed in our room and the common areas. There seemed to be good attendance for happy hour at the bar and for breakfast. The shuttle service was fantastic. We also enjoyed the pool. The only complaint I have is that there is a $25 per day resort fee that was not apparent to me (a seasoned traveler) in my research ahead of the booking. I wish this and all hotels would simply add in any resort fee to the price shown when booking so there are no surprises. The hotel was worth the price, including the resort fee.

They need to spend some time teaching manager and front desk team how to be sure they cover hotel details with clients when checking in. WiFi sign on asks for room number, last name, and a code. However, if you enter a last name it will reject everything else. No one conveyed this to us. Called front desk twice with no answer at 7:30pm to get this info. Went down stairs for a third time to retrieve this information. Manager never apologized just kept saying “ Mmm- Hmm”….”well, they should have explained that to you!” Very condescending. The other two times I had to go down to desk: checked in…went to room…none of the keys worked! Had to go back down and get keys properly synced. We went to dinner and let them know HVAC was not working…79 degrees in the room even when set at 71. Come back from dinner, room still 79 degrees. No text…no message…no call in status. Call front desk and they say “Oh - we are switching your room! Come down and get your keys.” …(really??)…had gotten drenched in a downpour and just wanted a hot shower… now we are packing up our stuff and moving!… (couldn’t call and let us know??….couldn’t bring us the keys??)…NO - back downstairs I go only to have the manager be condescending! The front desk teams were friendly and helpful, but not trained on providing real service. Bartender was excellent and cocktails were good. Breakfast wait staff was great and very attentive. Food was good and lots of choices. Coffee needs some work….a little watered down&bitter

It was quiet and easy to get to. Free parking and enough parking that we did not have to worry if there would be a spot when we returned. It was near what we need to be near. Pool is small but was not busy so was perfect for us. Only downfall is no balcony or place to sit outside. Bar and restaurant made good food. I would stay there again.

Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted with the most polite and friendly staff ever!! Worked great with us and made us feel at home. This hotel also offers free beach equipment to check out and free bikes, which is a major hit. Rooms are very nice and clean. Could not recommend more. We even extended our reservation because of the environment.

I booked a premium double queen room, they ended up giving me a standard room. There solution was to give me a small discount per night which I didn't think that was enough for the room difference.

I stayed there for the weekend and it was close to the beach and it was very convenient.

Most affordable place we could find in the area for our film premiere. Location was central, our bathroom had a really musty odor. It was a nice spot and would probably stay here again.

I went to this resort when it was Indigo in 2022 with my then boyfriend. I went now with my now husband🤗& celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary. Kia & Julie were so kind!!!! Staff are excellent. Room is so clean!! We are definitely coming back!!!!!

This is my second stay at this hotel and i have absolutely no complaints. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are super comfy, the staff from front desk to cleaning staff are super friendly and professional. Its close to downtown and close to the beach. And i simply love their Sparkling Water Dispenser on every floor. I highly recommend.

Room seemed clean and updated especially bathroom all good but found ants alive running around on the desk area countertop below the tv. Also a wall full of dust behind the bed half inch thick. That was gross. No wonder I kept sneezing all night.

The facility had a broken toilet, missed wake-up call, an absent supervisor, lack of tourism information.

The shower is superb, except lacking a safety grab bar. We had both breakfasts and a dinner in the restaurant, and the food was very good.

Free Wi-fi, coffee, fruit, club soda, were nice touches. Bed was firm. Not enough light in the room. No surge protector that I could see, needs to be one. Drying line in shower for wet bathing suits would be a plus.

We love this hotel. Very convenient to downtown. Reception friendly and helpful.
