Overall this hotel is good value. I did find the walls a bit too thin with the adjoining doors closed, we had loud neighbors who were always talking full blast on their phones. Once we changed rooms it was much better. Very good.

I stayed for a few nights for a video shoot. We got the room that has the jetted tub and it was amazing overall. The only thing I will say is that the furniture in the rooms are run down a bit , and need some maintenance. The day we left the water heater had something happen so we couldn’t use the shower , the toilet or the sink which was kinda disappointing. I wasn’t even going to try and get something off for the inconvenience because not many hotels do that anymore.

The entire property was immaculate! Check in and out was very easy. The room was very clean and comfortable! I did not eat any of the breakfast, however, I did look at what was available and it looked very appetizing. Even though this hotel is a little more expensive than the one that I have stayed at across the street, I will stay here again and again.

I wanted to love this place because the pool was really nice but that's where my satisfaction ends. The housekeeper did clean the room when I asked and seemed pleasant. She's the only one I encountered during my state it seemed pleasant. The rooms were very musty, with a moldy smell coming from the AC. They're also very dark and my bed squeaked every time I moved. Not even a subtle squeak but a loud annoying squeak. The staff was not very helpful and a little rude. There are homeless people throughout the two properties that are shared. There was a strong smell of marijuana on our floor one night that I didn't even inform the staff of because they never seem to care when things are pointed out to them. Their breakfast ends at 9:00 so I didn't even get to take advantage of that because who wants to wake up before 9:00 on vacation. I feel this hotel doesn't cater to people that want to lay back and relax on vacation. Hospitality was definitely lacking. I am not sure how the ratings are so high unless they are intentionality leaving out bad reviews.

The front staff was wonderful as well as the room. The only issue I have is with the breakfast being served. Powdered eggs are understandable but tacos and sausage for breakfast? The bacon that was served did not look like any bacon I have ever had. It was tiny and shriveled up. Terrible. If the hotel is going to serve breakfast then at least make it edible. Really disappointed in the food served. Food service needs immediate review by the manager. I stayed at Magnolia a number of times over the years and had real bacon and eggs served. Not the garbage which was presented this trip. I noticed the staff in the kitchen had time to have a bull session. Their time should be spent presenting descent food instead. Or do not serve any at all.

The side where our room was facing was noisy, no fault of staff of course. They were fully booked and by the time we booked, we only had so many choices of a room I guess. I can't say enough on how friendly and super nice the staff was!

nice hotel, close to the highway

It was my third time at Magnolia and I enjoyed every time; however, it seems it went down the hill. Hotel and rooms are clean, water pressure fenomenal. Pool area is no longer enjoyable. Non guests are coming to use the pool with lots of pool toys and floaties, children are out of control. At least 3 maybe 4 groups a day specially on the weekend. They leave the pool at evening, pack their cars with coolers and toys an drive away. Pool is not maintain well anymore.

The room was clean! The TV was in an awkward place making it difficult to watch from bed. Great location and great staff. Plenty of towels and sheets in the room. I’d book here again for sure

Carpet old and in need of replacement. Room smelled so strongly of some type of cleaner that we couldn’t stand it. Young man at front desk in dire need of peoples skills. Pool was closed for 2 days. Overall like putting lipstick on a pig. Subpar at best.

I stayed here with my family for 5 nights. No complaints at all. The location, room, pool area, gym and everywhere around was clean. The staff were nice. The gym is much smaller than the pictures make it seem, but it did the job. The free parking and breakfast was appreciated. The hotel is also located close to many places. The elevators were nice and big. Overall, great stay and I would stay here again.

Don’t Stay Here! When pulled down covers of bed to sleep, the sheets were obviously DIRTY. There were dried bits of skin, toilet paper…DISGUSTING! The maid obviously just remade the bed! This happened at 1:00am. Called front desk from 1-1:45am on both personal phone and in-room phone to request clean sheets be sent up. The in-room phone rang incessantly and then was cut off, no answer. My personal phone rang without being answered by the front desk either. This hotel is supposed to be staffed 24/7 but no one is at the front door or watching the lobby between 1 - 1:45am apparently! Not safe. Absolutely revolting experience.

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Stacey, desk clerk on duty was more than helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied with everything.

Towels where really small only one pool for two hotels and small too, if you planing to do laundry you have to pay to wash your clothes breakfast was ok it was a small area.

Very convenient to 75 and to Nathan Benderson Park, Mote Aquarium and UTC. Also not a long drive to get to beaches. Room was very nice for the price - modern looking inside and a large bathroom. One bed was very creaky and uncomfortable.

They have 2 elevators, but only one was working. It was difficult since they were extremely busy. We were on the top floor, so you always had to wait a bit on that. They had a great selection for breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and polite.

I appreciated how quiet it was in the evenings, LOVED the breakfast, especially the chia fruit cup, and enjoyed having a nice pool. The desk staff were friendly, the rooms are well-equipped and the all-day coffee was much appreciated.

It wasn’t very clean and tv remote didn’t work, but worse part was road work all night long horrible noises!! I didn’t get a partial refund but it didn’t help my horrible stay!

Breakfast was ok. Nice looking room but it had a urine smell outside in the room and not even in the bathroom. My pets urinated on carpet I don’t know. I alerted the from desk and they switch room to one right above. It also had the same smell. It’s like I couldn’t win. Rooms 508 and 608. I honestly think they should rip up carpet and switch to hard floors. I guess the location dictates price but to me not worth it. Too expensive with average motel smell.

Clean room beds can use some updating as in mattress. Other than that first thing I noticed was the refreshing you got when you when into the room. Bathroom clean the only complaint I would have is the shower head sprayed water above the shower door and caused the bathroom floor to be soaked. The bathroom door also did not lock. The staff was friendly great variety of things to choose from for breakfast. Would recommend also would stay again.

We have stayed here before, Room was kept spotless by the room attendant, pool area nice, quite hotel near to I75 easy to get about the area, adequate free breakfast and coffee 24/7, nice check in staff, my only gripe was the 24/7 coffee was usually cold, maybe renew coffee more regular please, otherwise we enjoyed our stay

Stayed 11/16-11/17/2025. We arrived very late due to train delay of several hours. Front desk receptionist was very personable and helpful. Check-in was super easy. The room was spotless and the bed comfort was superior. Appreciated the darkening window shades. Would definitely stay again.

My room was very clean and comfortable. Since I was on a business trip, I was glad to have a kitchenette in my room. It made storing water bottles, leftovers, etc easy. All of the staff I met were very friendly. I really enjoyed the included breakfast. There were lots of options for a quick lite breakfast, a heartier breakfast, fruit options, juice options & the coffee was great with creamer options. Over all I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend to anyone.

We stayed for a tournament just one night. Enjoyed the pool that’s is shared by the sister hotel. Also was grateful for the on side laundry option. Breakfast was simple but very clean and organized dining area.

The pillows are not good. Breakfast is quite poor and the space inadeqaute - as i was leaving at around 0830 it was mobbing and people were having to eat in the foyer. On the whole for just an overnight by the interstate stopover it could be worse .

Room smelled moldy, carpet was sticky - perhaps toothpaste in the carpet... room noise was very loud.

Room was clean and was cleaned every day. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was good. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful. All the staff were friendly. The only problem was the noise the chairs made when moved in the breakfast dining room.

Pool is shared with another hotel across the parking lot. It was clean and quiet. In the accessible room with the roll in shower the water went all over the bathroom floor. Didn't drain properly.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The breakfast changes every day and has a great selection. The only negative I can say is, if you don’t speak Spanish, it’s hard to communicate with anyone that doesn’t work the front desk, however, they are still very friendly and smile a lot.

I only stayed for one night but overall, check in was smooth, bed was comfortable and the water pressure was actually spectacular. I didn't really partake at breakfast but it smelled nice and the room was full of people. Coffee was average at best.

Very nice hotel, very clean

First, we couldn't get into one, of two of our rooms until 10:30 at night due the handle needing maintenance and maintenance refused to come until morning. Upon entering the room, there was feces in the toilet, blood spot on the sheets and to top off the whole experience, with the do not disturb hanging from the handle, the maintenance man still knocked and then OPENED the door WHILE I was sleeping! Such a HORRIBLE experience and hotel!!

We often meet family in Sarasota for lunch since it’s a half way point from where we live. Not wanting to drive back home 1.5 hours this time I opted for a quick stay at this property and was pleasantly surprised. It was a super clean and new hotel. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The in room jacuzzi tub was incredible. Hot water. Strong jets. And a tv in the bathroom! Made for a great time relaxing and allowing my husband to watch golf while he took advantage of the jets. While we didn’t go to the pool it looked great & there were a lot of people pool side. Great location too, near a lot of restaurant options. Will definitely stay again when we’re in the area

Great value for the price. The Hotel was located about 20-25 minutes away from both Lido & Siesta Key beaches, downtown Sarasota and The Ringling Estate/Museum. We enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be clean and sufficient. The large jetted tub was a nice feature in our king room. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was decent and offered a variety of choices daily. The coffee left something to be desired, but otherwise a great value for the area and would consider it again. The actual area surrounding the hotel had lots of shopping/restaurants nearby, but was very commercial. The pool was in the parking lot and shared with the suite hotel in the same lot. While it was a little strange, they did a nice job of land/hardscaping so that it was okay once you entered the pool area. The shower at the pool did not work and would have been nice to have, but wasn't a big deal. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

VERY clean, extremely spacious room, comfortable bed, jacuzzi tub was available and worth the room upgrade, convenient location right next to the interstate and UTC. The most beautiful beaches in the country are easy to get to and you can be there within 15 minutes. We couldn’t hear any traffic or noise from the other guests. Kid friendly atmosphere. The pool is beautiful and well kept. We will definitely stay at this location again. Staff is very friendly and we had such a great experience that we decided to stay even longer than we originally planned.
