Had a wonderful stay. Would definitely book this hotel again and again.

The property is beautiful, but we won't be returning. Most of the staff isn't courteous. We've had extra hidden charges added to our account. Our total with Expedia including all charges was $286. The hotel charged $374 to our credit card.

Embassy Suites Sarasota exceeded all expectations. Housekeeping was exceptional, keeping the room immaculate throughout my stay. The team at the 8th‑floor restaurant and bar deserves special praise — great service, great energy, and genuinely welcoming people. I’d gladly stay here again.

This was a wonderful hotel and I loved everything about it. The two bed suite we had was wonderful because it had the two beds and a pullout sofa on my other side of a wall so it was very cozy and private. The pool was absolutely beautiful, sat in the middle of the hotel overlooking the downtown area and Marina. It was a very unique pool. I enjoyed it very much. The bar and restaurant had complete views of the marina as well and the included buffet breakfast was wonderful with the best omelette station. The only issue was the long wait for the elevators as we were on the 15th floor, but we were able to get in and out of the hotel to go sightseeing and head to the beaches and we loved it. We will be returning.

Absolutely spacious rooms, staff were extremely helpful and informative. Breakfast was amazing! My only issue is I wish the pool was open a little later than sundown. I would have loved to see the view of the pool and from the pool at night.

Great experience like always at Hilton hotels. The staff member Martha was amazing, super professional and friendly. All our stay was wonderful. Excellent rooms and breakfasts. Perfect location and great value. We will stay again. Recommended it 100 %.

The only thing I would say is that if you are paying for your stay why they have to charge you separately for a parking space that should be included on your room because obviously your not walking in or coming by helicopter or a taxi.

Location Over priced amenities. The elevators wait was horrible, one out of service. The food was average, the pool and area were small. The king bed was uncomfortable.

We had to call to have our room serviced every afternoon. They say we had our do not disturb sign on the door but we didn’t even have one in the room. Also, they only gave us 3 bath towels for 6 people daily and had to call down for more every day. After waiting an hour on day 3 for towels, we had to take some from the pool since they were not delivered.

The hotel was very nice and had a good restaurant. It was very well located. My check in was slow which is the one negative about the property. The rooms are spacious though. You do need to pay $40 for parking in addition to the room charge and convenience charge. They do offer some nice complementary services to offset the convenience charge.

Stayed at this location in Sarasota to be close to Siesta Key Beach. Great location and had use of the gym, free breakfast and also Free Happy Hour each evening. Nice room and friendly staff as well! WE probably should have booked two rooms but overall, beautiful room and relaxing stay at this hotel!

This location offers an outstanding position, suitable for those mindful of their budget. The rooms were immaculate and well-maintained. However, the lobby and bathroom facilities in the lobby were below par. Additionally, the staff at the lobby service desk seemed unfriendly, often too engrossed to acknowledge guests promptly.

The property was located in nice area. The continental breakfast was the best compared to any other hotels I’ve been in years. The start at the Bridges restaurant were professional and polite. My only complaint is the price of parking $40 a day is way too much

I liked the inclusive breakfast. Room (mostly bathroom) was not throughly clean. Couldn’t access my hotel room past a certain hour and the staff mentioned that sometimes there are issues with the keys not opening, which I found it frustrating.

Our 12th floor suite was spacious and well appointed. The views were wonderful to. House keeping was efficient and attentive to our coming and going. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast as well. I was surprised by the parking fee, which I didn't know about in advance. But there was plenty of parking available and no in out fees or valets to tip. The bar and dinner service were very good as well.

The room was lovely. I did not like that I double payed taxes. I booked through Expedia which one, told me all taxes were included. If this is the case, why was I charged taxes upon checkout? I also did not realize you do not get Hilton's points when you book through a third third party which I believe should be unfair. Lastly, I do not like the $28.00 charge you automatically add to the bill.

We reserved a wheelchair accessible room, we did not get one until the second night. We made sure ahead of time that this was reserved as my wife is in a wheelchair, and she could not take a shower, this was very frustrating . Hotel was great but accessibility is very weak. We were eventually moved to a wheelchair accessible room but still it should have been there for us for when we checked in.

Nice hotel, breakfast and very clean. The only thing you need to be aware is parking is $40 overnight. Across the street there is parking but the staff won't tell you, only for $20/night and $5/hour. Other than this, we will choose this hotel for future stays.

We traveled here for a wedding and stayed at the Embassy. Location was good and front desk staff was nice and that about it. We checked in late around 10pm because our flight was delayed. When we got to the room, we were surprised how dark it was there. Bedroom had only one lamp on the wall. I had to use my phone flashlight to find things in my suitcase. We were tired so went straight to bed. Next morning we’ve noticed how outdated the furniture in the living area were, sofa was dirty. Shower/ tub was dirty. Floor was very sticky. There were no tissues in the box. One of the Beds was very uncomfortable. Cleaning service doesn’t understand English at all. And on top of all expensive parking. Not sure if all rooms are in this condition or just those booked through Expedia. We didn’t use any amenities they offered. Would not be returning

Apparently if you book through Expedia, this particular Embassy Suites does not honor the room/product you purchase. I ordered a bay view, 2 queen bed room and was downgraded to a view of construction of the back of the building. While check in is listed for 4:00PM, my room was not available at that time. I had tickets to attend an event at 6:00 and was pressured to accept, supposedly, the only room available at that time - at that point, 4:10PM. They said it had a partial bay view, it did not. The front desk staff said I would receive $50 off but would have to go through Expedia to get the $50. They apparently do not assist in that transaction. When I checked out, I explained the situation to a different front desk staff member and she offered to give me 10,000 HH points and would ask her manager if she could give me more. During both interactions with the front desk staff, I was told the manager was not available. I will continue to contact Expedia and Hilton headquarters until proper consideration is given. This would be a very nice property if they honored the package purchased through Expedia. I actually paid for these 2 nights in November 2025. The room I was forced to accept was in no way whatsoever what I paid and contracted with Expedia and Hilton.

We called to request additional coffee and toilet paper for the next morning and it never arrived, we eventually just went to lobby to get it ourselves. Over the weekend, I did catch the really bad flu/bronchitis bug that has been going around. Not saying I caught it at the hotel as I have no way of knowing where I picked it up; however, I highly recommend the hotel staff take the time to sanitize all high traffic areas frequently, elevator buttons, door handles, etc… especially while this bad bug is making it its way across the state and the nation.

The hotel was fine, but I didn't like the additional charges of $28/day for "Destination Charge" and $40/day for parking the car in the hotel parking lot when I am staying there.That winds up being a 26% adder to the hotel room I didn't know ahead of time.

The room we booked and paid for wasn't available so we got stuck in a smaller room next to construction. And we did not get a refund for the smaller room. The construction was so loud!! They did nothing to a accommodate us and said there was no other rooms but they still offered it on their website. Our lights and plug ins didn't work. The pool was barely open and some of the pop was out. We will not stay there again. Horrible experience!

We had booked a one bedroom suite, and when they checked us in the guy gave me a lesser room because my room was not ready at 4:45 PM. Then in the room, the heating was broken and buzzed the whole night. The noise was so loud we had to turn it off and froze as a result. Once we turned it off, the mini fridge was the next noise maker also buzzing all night long. The next morning I went to breakfast and the omelette station was not running. They said it would be delayed by an hour. So missed that too. This used to be a really nice place to stay. But the staff there seemed like a bunch of incompetent people. And the maintenance on the utilities is not getting done. Old noisy appliances and poor service ruined our experience.

The destination makes no sense. And, I received 3 different answers about what it is for. Probably won’t return because of it.

Expedia inadvertently booked the 2nd night only of my 2 night stay. fortunately Embassy Suite Sarasota was able to accommodate the 1st night stay.

Housekeeping not so great. After being out from 11 AM to 3:50 PM...room not cleaned. Had to fight to get it cleaned as they said housekeepers had departed.Then head housekeeper tried to lie saying we had "sleeping in" card on door. Parking very expensive at $40 a day plus tax.

Front desk staff and most of the dining room staff were amazing! I had an argument with the Housekeeping manager when I called to ask for extra towels as we were four staying in the room and only had towels for three guests. In addition, the room lacked comfort, poor lighting, poor condition sofa sinking in the middle and oil dripping from the room door. To close, housekeeping did not service our room on the third day, leaving us with wet towels to use and having to find a place to take out our trash! A refund for one night would have been acceptable for this poor experience.

An unexpected per night fee was charged in spite of Expedia claiming all fees are included at the time of booking. They charged this fee even if the amenities (restaurant) was closed.

I wouldn't go back. Parking garage needs to have arrows painted on it to show flow in and out. Simple thing to do to alleviate confusion on guests' part.

Should be a 2nd person assisting with omelets, etc. Cranberry juice too watery. Our room was dark…especially the bathroom which made it difficult to shave…no light over shower stall either. Upon leaving we discovered a bulb missing near hallway coffee pot area…but that would not solve low lighting in bedroom/bathroom. Front desk staff 10 minutes late for 8AM wake up call one day…one day was perfect. Front desk staff courteous and helpful with freezing ice packs for trip home.

This is my go to Hotel in Sarasota. We love the breakfast. The walking distance to the restaurants, drinks, and nearby beaches.

The Restaurant, Bar & Pool area on 8th floor are very nice, easy access to downtown Sarasota for restaurants, shopping and walking/running. Having purchased this room through Expedia, my experience is you do not get the best rooms, so if you don’t mind looking at the garage or street and being next to the elevator to save money then I think it’s fine.

The room was fine and the service at the front desk for check in was outstanding. However, the service in the restaurant was poor. There were not enough servers both nights during our dinner and we had to ask for attention several times.

Good breakfast, especially the made to order omelette, and the $28 resort fee can be used at the restaurant or bar on site. Highly recommend the jalapeño margarita at the bar! The manager’s special happy hour is nice for socializing by the pool (M-F), but the snacks are minimal. Overall, a nice stay and beds very comfortable too.

Everything was perfect. There was some mixup with Expedia where they canceled my reservation because my credit card declined My credit card declined because I had canceled it due to fraud and did not remember to add the new credit card to my Expedia account. However, Expedia did not notify me that my reservation had been canceled. I called Embassy Suites to confirm my reservation from my departure airport and was informed that it have been canceled by Expedia. Embassy got me a room thank goodness, however, my original reservation was for two queen beds and upon entering the room I found I have been given a king size one bed. My daughter and I ended up sleeping in the one bedroom. The lady at the omelette kitchen is amazing. She’s very pleasant and fun to be around. The only complaint I have was the lamps that are attached to the wall are coming off. So that kind of ruined some of the room’s aesthetic. The housekeeping staff was amazing the front desk people were amazing. I do, however I think $40 a night for parking is a little steep, especially since the rooms are already very expensive, and the $28 resort fee is a little exceptional as well. Although Embassy does say if you charge something from the restaurant after lunchtime, it will be credited against the $28 a day fee

We stayed here while we moved our daughter into college. It was very comfortable. MUCH bigger room than we expected. Pool was nice and relaxing after a long drive and move in day. Staff was TOP NOTCH. We will definitely being staying again when we come to visit. This was the 3rd trip and 3rd hotel we stayed in while in Sarasota. Out of the 3 visits this was by far the nicest hotel we stayed in.

Additionally, the behavior of one receptionist was not appropriate. She complained to me about another guest, and on one occasion when I called, she told me she couldn’t understand me in a manner that was neither polite nor professional for a receptionist.

Pros: The corner room in 17th floor was nice and a nice view. Workers were nice. The breakfast was great. Location 5 minutes drive from my favorite beach Lido beach. The city trolley makes a stop in front of the hotel(if you dont rent a car). The gym is small and simple equipment for a simple workout. Bed is comfortable. Cons: parking $40night (outside parking in the street is free) they charge a $28 restaurant fee per night (if you eat at they're restaurant they will avoid the $28 and just pay what you consume, not many options on the menu, they're dishes are $5 to $6 higher comparing outside restaurants) but that limits you on trying a restaurant outside. Staff not trained properly on how to explain this fee so had a little confusion. Another $25 fee per night is added (stay fee). The swimming pool is very restricted, closing early at 7pm. (A glass window that divides the pool and gym is/was cracked). Internet/wifi access is not free and limited. No free streaming channels access, even we all have these services now days I think adding them is a plus(even I offer them for free in my airbnb rental). Pillows not comfortable.

I have not seen the property because I canceled the trip. Because the hotel was located 4 - 5 hours driving distance from the airport. You should make sure that hotels are close to arriving airports.

The property is really nice, walking distance to downtown area and 10 minute driving to the beaches. The continental breakfast is very convenient, specially love the omelettes. Also the hotel offers happy hour after 5pm with snacks included. Now be aware that if you use the parking garage there is a charge of $40 per night, plus $28 per night for the use of the hotel premises, like the pool, the restaurant, the bar, the gym. Even if you decide not to use it, you will be charge $28 per night. So use the premises and use these $28 charge as credit if you consume food or drinks. On the other hand the hotel personnel don’t seem very happy when working. I heard them fussing and complaining between them not caring who were around them, which seems very rude for the guests.

I've enjoyed every moment at this exceptional hotel and don't have any complaints. Everything from checking in to the hotel until I checked out, it was superb. I'll definitely, will stay again in the near future.

Overall, a great stay.

This is a great hotel centrally located with clean rooms. I get that you want to close a bar/restaurant by a certain time but forcing your guests to sit in the lobby in the first floor with no space was mind-blowing. We travelled to attend a celebration of life and not having a space we're we could sit and gather was hard. The pool was nice and the breakfast was awesome with healthy options and decadent waffles etc for kids.

Staff was great and rooms are very clean!
