The breakfast was wonderful and the room was comfortable and clean. The location was near about anything you would want to go to. My visit was for a family function in Sarasota so this was near to the family. The weather was really hot but you can't change mother nature. I survived pretty well.

We LOVED the Comfort Inn and Suites! We stayed in the family suite with our family of 7, and had plenty of space. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing, and the hotel was kept very clean. We truly loved our stay.

We stayed for a baseball tournament and it was a grand slam! Great rooms, lobby had board games for the kids to play. The pool was nice and clean ( hot tub was nice not a fan of the light it makes the hot tub water look yellow) the pool has grill so we were able to grill some hot dogs and hamburgers after a game. The breakfast was good( normal hotel choices). The stuff was great and helpful. Overall it was the perfect hotel.

It was a good review. The only thing was the lamps where you put your cell phone to plug-in was loose and they didn’t always charge your phone, but everything else was great in there the room smelt like Clorox and some good smelling stuff when we walked in so we was pleased with it. We’ll go back.

One front desk staff (a young man) had a poor attitude when I asked for fresh towels (after previously asking for them 6 hr prior). He didn't want to bring the towels to our room. Breakfast good. Eating area nice.

The hotel is super clean and orderly. I really enjoyed how quiet it is, and the bed is super comfortable. If you’re going to be doing any lengthy reading, maybe better to do that at the desk The TV and its options suited me well. The bathroom was super clean and and one can choose between very well lit, or use the mirror lighting for something softer on the eyes. Front desk staff were kind and very helpful in setting up the room and answering any questions about the hotel and its services. The morning breakfast was varied and filling. There was something there for everyone, I was very happy that it be available. Even the group of Japanese tourists who came the morning I was there seemed quite contented with the breakfast. And it says a lot when a hotel is inclusive of such a diverse group of guests. I highly recommend the hotel. The location was helpful too in that it was close to dining options and Starbucks. There was even a Sam’s Club nearby, and I’m really glad it was there. I could definitely stay there again.

Room was clean and well stocked with towels and such, very quiet, and breakfast was typical continental but very nice and plentiful.

The Suite layout having separation between bedroom and living area allowed me to work remotely privately while the family rested. Great experience overall. Pet friendly a major plus.

The room was clean but old. Beds were comfortable enough. Good hot water in shower but they needed to descale the shower head or replace it. The towels were gray and stiff. Breakfast was standard free hotel breakfast far but coffee from a machine and coffee mate were subpar for a morning wake up! Luckily there is a Starbucks and a Dunkin within walking distance

The staff was curteoys but we had 3vroachea crawling in our room and tgey had to switch us to another room which was a big inconvenience

beautiful view but I couldn't see out the windows! Filthy on the outside. The noise between approx. 10 P.M. and 1 A.M. was outrageous. It sounded like someone was moving furniture around and that noise was coming from not just above us but all around. Breakfast food was not hot enough but the coffee was. LOVED the two young ladies behind the check in, checkout counter.

The Front Desk staff was great! Hudson was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean. Quiet location, sits in a park like setting under palms and pines.

The King Suite was very roomy and we liked the extra bathroom vanity and the jacuzzi were great. The area was quiet and near many amenities. I would have given it 5 stars but the limited cleaning services were not great. We stayed 8 days and they said they would clean every 3 days. We only got 2 room cleaning services with clean towels in 8 days. I'm sure if I had asked for more they would have done it, but I assumed it would be every 3 days and it wasn't.

Been coming to Sarasota since I was little and usually stay with family. This trip I wanted a quiet spot to come and go without bothering anyone. This hotel is in a perfect location. It was clean, quiet, and spacious. I stayed 3 days and was put on the top floor at the end of a hall. Chef’s kiss. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Eoom was immaculate. Friendly staff at the front desk and at breakfast. All was perfect.

Room was pretty clean, bathroom vanity was a little dusty, hallway smelled great, breakfast was good and breakfast area was kept pretty clean.

Room was very well used and could have used some maintenence and a good cleaning. The towels in our room and on the carts were gray rather than the original white.

Breakfast is underwhelming. Not even apples, and the "scrambled eggs" looked and tasted more plastic and fake than usual. In addition, rooms don't have outlets on the practical sides of beds such on the wall of the AC unit, opposed to the nightstand.

Hudson was delightful, kept calm and handled the issues with professionalism. The first room was not acceptable, ripped carpeting, smelled smoky and musty and the beds were completely sunken. Hudson handled my concerns, addressed them and made it possible for us to get a better room.

Stayed here for one night 16 December 2025 with the Pups, everything was nice and the landscaping is awesome with Royal Palm Trees and many many did I say many yes many Dwarf Royal Palm Trees, a few doubles but mostly triples. Nice property, no problems with the pups, nice staff…I’ll be back

I booked this hotel because of the great reviews about the pool and hot tub. The pool was nice and i enjoyed my swims. The hot tub was out of order all 3 days. The kitchen service was nice and polite. The blond male receptionist could have been nicer, the other one was nice. It was quiet and i enjoyed my stay.

Room smelled a bit musty, but it was clean and everything else was great. Recommended.

Everything was very good! The only issue was the TV in our room said it lost signal and we were not able to get it to start working again,the gentleman from the front desk came up to see if he could get it working but was unable, he said that there was no maintenance employees working so we had to pack up and move rooms.They upgraded the room which was appreciated but having to move rooms for what seemed to be a relatively simple issue was no convenient. A large hotel should always have a maintenance person available especially on a Saturday.

Every time I or someone from my party went in the bathroom or shower we were sneezing and coughing so much. My face and eyes were itchy and puffy and I was having a hard time breathing from whatever is in the bathroom in the room.

Overall property and room were clean, and there were a variety of places to eat and/or have drinks in the area.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Very family friendly area. Lots of resturants and shopping just north of hotel. We are under a tropical depression so there is humidity that is normal in SW Florida as long as the air/ fan is on its comfortable. Bathroom and shower was wonderful, clean and comfortable. Beds are Great.

We got placed in a floor were they were working replacing carpets, and workers were still making noise after 7:30 pm

My first room smelled like cigarettes. I thought maybe I was being dramatic but the smell was giving me headaches and my clothes were starting to smell like cigarettes so on my second day I asked to move rooms. I went straight to my room to start packing up my stuff. I had a lot of stuff to pack because I was going to be in Florida for a whole month. About 15 minutes after I started packing I get a knock at the door from housekeeping asking if I was done packing and I told them I wasn’t done and then about ten minutes later I get another knock from housekeeping AGAIN. I informed them that I wasn’t done and then I get a call from someone from the front desk telling me I needed to basically hurry up because housekeeping needs to turn the room around and clean it. I told the rude front desk lady that I was still packing and I had a lot of stuff to pack and I’m doing my best to pack everything up quickly. She was so rude and not understanding. Instead of asking is there anything that I may need help with she just told me to hurry up. I just want to make a point that this was not the very young girl that checked me in when I arrived on my first day. She was super sweet and friendly. Another day I had asked for some towels to be delivered and one of the guys that works at the front desk (the one with a bad haircut and dye job) dropped the towels and he leaned in to peak into my room where my friends were sleeping on the couch…gross. To top it off I found a cockroach in my room.

The staff was fabulous. The air conditioner soaked our floor and we had to change rooms. The first room was must, hot, and wet. The second was better but smelled of new flooring and chemicals.

Perkins Restaurant next door is permanently closed. Staff is outstanding! Pet friendly and pet relief area is shaded and convenient. Rooms were clean. Sheets and pillows were so comfy. Updating is being done but did not interfere with our stay. Breakfast is typical hotel fare. Coffee and water 24/7. Would stay again

The room that I was first assigned had a foul musty smell in the entire room that I asked to be reassigned I just couldn’t stand it. The staff was helpful and accommodating and assigned me a room without carpet. The same night there were people near my room making a ruckus by opening and slamming the doors and yelling loudly until they got the cops involved this went on until 12:45am ugh it took me longer to fall asleep. Which wasn’t a good experience or impression of the hotel.

I like the hotel because it was convenient to restaurants and shopping around. The dislike is it needs a lot of upgrades the bed was hard the room had a moldy smell.

Although we had an initial strong cleaning smell, our impression got better later. The included breakfast was quite nice. Although room needs an update as stuffs are quite worn, everything worked.

Room smelled damp and stale. AC was loud and fan wouldn't run continously to muffle out the sound of the guests next door. Rooms are definitely not sound proof.

The hallways have a strange odor and musty smell. Trash and dirty linen line up the hallways at all hours of the day and night, glad I only saw ants and no other bugs. Every time I stay here there are sports teams staying, kids running up and down hallways and being loud. I’ve never experienced the breakfast here because it’s always overrun by the sports teams. I definitely will not be back at this hotel.

The hotel was nice and there were restaurants within walking distance. My only complaint is the television was not working, in the bedroom. I called the front desk to inform them they said they would send someone up and that never happened.

We booked this hotel for one night to attend a family event. The front desk staff are amazing. The young man who checked us in gave us a choice of rooms. He explained everything from the wifi to the breakfast. The hotel sits back from the road so the area is private and quiet. The hotel is pet friendly and we did not hear a peep out of any of the pets staying here. The room is spacious and clean. The only issue was the bed was a little firm but that’s a personal preference. We will stay here again.

Nice, clean practical room in which we were pleased to stay. It is close to restaurants (driving wise). I wish they would add safes for electronic devices and jewelry.

Very friendly staff, but the hotel carpets are old (I don’t understand why something as dirty as a carpet is used in a high-traffic area). In my case, the key cards never worked, the AC broke down three times, and the room cleaning was done late. Again, very hardworking staff, but overall, a poor experience.

The property was fine. Pretty basic. It seemed that they had several long term renters staying on the ground floor. Definitely an odd odor in that hallway during our entire stay.

Old building. Needs to be updated. First room smelled terrible. Second room was a little better, but still was damp and smelled. Was this because of the hurricanes earlier this year? Carpet needs to be replaced. Plenty of things need to be upgraded.
