La propiedad esta limpia , no hacen houseskeeping hasta 2 dias solo te ofrecen toallas, La piscina solo abre hasta las 6Pm, falta de actividad completamente , el desayuno no es natural ,son panes con huevo que ya vienen congelado, pense que iva haber revoltillo natural , bacon, y otras selecciones, , pero la ubicacion muy buena cerca del Main Street, El paking no es Free, pero pasamos un fin de semana agradable, ya que nos sirvio de Hospeadje y salimos a la playa y a las acyividades de Main Street

The hotel was so clean. Rooftop pool and bar was amazing, the staff were wonderful and the location was perfect.

Valet parking was well worth the charges.

To make matters worse, the phone in the room did not work, so when I tried calling the front desk to request clean bedding, I had to use my personal cell phone instead. The overall cleanliness and maintenance standards were very poor, and the experience made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. I expected much better service and cleanliness from this hotel.

This is our sixth time staying at Aloft Sarasota. We are very pleased with this hotel and amenities that we don’t look for anything else in downtown Sarasota. Clean rooms, great service, rooftop pool with a bar, and this time we also enjoyed complimentary breakfast. We always arrive early and enjoy early check-in which is a plus.

Next offer that ice cream treat when checking in. We missed it both days. Fix that American Flag: get a much larger one for that big pole and higher quality so it won’t tear or wear out so fast.

It was convenient to everything downtown-just a few blocks away. The bar was swamped every night so hard to get a happy hour drink or bites but otherwise great!

The clerks at front desk couldn't answer questions I had about my bill the first night. I was charged more than Expedia said I would be. Someone in another room came in late. Was very loud slamming doors and flushing the toilet a lot. Not sound proof at all. The hotel was very clean with a modern decor.

Was disappointed in the conditions for the price. Place is showing its age. Dirty windows looking out your room doesn’t reflect well on the care of your customers…

The pool area was very spacious. Free coffee and ice cream in lobby was a bonus! Room was clean and well equipped. The staff was pleasant when confronted but did not initiate friendliness. Location is perfectly situated downtown. A area shuttle from hotel to downtown for walking impaired would have been helpful but was not available.

Everything was great. The location was perfect for walking to all restaurants. Pool and gym area was nice. Rooms were clean. Beds and pillows were too soft. While in the rooms you can hear any activity in the halls. Wouldn’t stop me from going back though.

Municipal, stark and shabby. My room was dirty, the air conditioning unit was terribly noisy and I was woken up by drunks in the corridor at 2am. Breakfast is shockingly poor quality with only a handful of options( all processed and microwaved) and the smell and lack of adequate air conditioning in the lobby makes itt uncomfortable. This is not a boutique hotel. Pay just a little extra and enjoy much better accommodation.

Awful hotel and the staff was rude and unhelpful. My room had zero privacy i booked a city view and was given a room directly overlooking an office building. All the office look directly into the room and the office building was super close right on top of the room. When I asked to change rooms the front desk Alexis told me all the rooms are like that. She did not offer to move me. In addition, the bed was super soft like a banana. The bathroom was and overall feel of hotel was dirty. When I went down to tell Alexis I am leaving and want a refund she offered me the option of changing rooms and then said we wont refund you because i now offered to change your room so i am accommodating you. She did not do this before I complained. They should refund my money i had to go to another hotel and paid for two hotels. I left a message for the GM and he never returned my call. The staff here has quietly quit. Do not stay at this awful hotel with rude staff and no privacy/bad beds.

Everything was perfect. Street parking definitely is hard to find, but they do have a valet option for $24 a night. The front desk staff was absolutely wonderful.

The room was clean. The air conditioner had a smell to it. Like refrigerant. Bed was nice and comfy. Room was very clean. Lobby had no ac it was broke this weekend.

Seems to be a safe area and quite quiet also not too far from other things via car. The rooms nevertheless way pricer than they should: as you enter on the left you have the bathroom sink and the coffee and closet and everything in one - a first for me to find the coffee maker basically in the kitchen. Then the shower head almost is not moving so once in the shower basically there is no place the water wont hit you so you have to get wet, close the water while shampooing or cleaning and then restart the water. Of the breakfast what can I say: choose from 1 thibg from a breakfast small burger or a waffle or a small sandwich and a juice (made of concentrate) for $9 per person….So to put it short: expensive for being so scarce in its offering.Oh btw valet-parking: rude guys all of them!

Our stay at the Aloft Hotel was excellent. The property was top-notch, clean, and conveniently located downtown. The staff were very nice, and I appreciated the choice of street parking or valet. The lobby bar was beautiful, and the self-serve cold water and evening ice cream were great touches. The pool table was also a fun amenity. I highly recommend this hotel.

We did not like that they do not have a restaurant on site where we could buy a decent breakfast or dinner

The location is great - walkable to downtown and the bayfront and a short drive to the beach. The bar and pool areas are also nice. The staff was excellent. The walls are a bit thin, but like I said - it's a solid 3-star hotel in an otherwise very expensive area of town.

It was supposed to be no hidden fees yet when we arrived there was 25 dollar per night valet parking ( street parking was limited ) also we was charged 50 dollars for " incidentals"

y los elevadores eran 2 y uno solo funcionaba?! Tampoco salia bien el agua fria del lavatorio del baño. I thought the hotel was seriously lacking in maintenance. There were two rooms and elevators, and only one was working. The cold water in the bathroom sink also didn't run properly.

Nice area. We walked to Whole Foods, a nice park, great thai place, super french restaurant and a cool bookstore. Early check-in, late (noon) checkout. Nice rooftop pool, free icecream.

This place is incredible and chic, staff are so professional and friendly. They let my girlfriend and I checked in 2 hrs early!!. The rooms are so cozy and welcoming. The drinks on the bar were great , we had a blast !!, definitely will comeback soon!!.

Clean and convenient to local shops and restaurants. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Took advantage of a well-equipped gym also. Staff was attentive and courteous.

Slow check-in, TV remote would not work properly, barn door for bathroom was off the track - the service man, who we told the front desk to not send up until we checked-out walked in the room just after my wife came out of the bathroom (unacceptable).

Best thing to say is location. Many things to do and see in walking distance. Rooms need some TLC. A/C was extremely loud cycling on and off that it woke us up all night. Decor not functional.,A sofa under the tv for what? Dusty shelves. Going to the bathroom at night… no small lighting in the bathroom area so everyone wakes up. Shower on/off loose. Barn door to shower hard to close completely and then won’t slide open. TV not programmed improperly. . Go to a channel and it’s completely different that what’s on the screen. Would not stay again. Disappointed in qualify for price paid.

VERY Clean and Modernized; there was a cool good funky funky retro look at hotel due to recent renovations. GREAT location with lots of places to eat and partake in an “adult beverage!” HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here if you are traveling to the Sarasota area. We WILL DEFINITELY be coming back again over the next few months.

Great location - short walk to Main Street. Very comfortable. Pool is nice. We didn’t find the staff very helpful. No tourist information on hand in the hotel. Went for happy hour drinks but none of the beers on the list were available. Breakfast was very limited

I was really impressed with this property. Excellent walkable location, affordable, nice common areas and bar, and fabulous pool!! We weren't even there on the days when the pool bar was open, that would be even better! Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Sarasota.

Dogs were allowed to sit on furniture in lobby and in dinning area. Unsafe and unsanitary.

The property is in a great location on the quieter edge of downtown Sarasota, but within a 3 block walk of all the activities on Main Street. The facilities were new and nice. The ONLY complaint I have is that you need separate light switches for the shower/toilet room vs. the sink and vanity area. If there were two separate light switches, someone could use the restroom or shower without automatically turning on the light near the sink and vanity which shines in the main portion of the room waking up other sleeping individuals.

The room was perfect and we enjoyed the pool table and the cleanliness. But the staff make it a 10 for us. We never met anyone who didn’t go above and beyond to make sure we were cared for. A great location in walking distance to many shops, restaurants and park across the street. Our room was not very clean especially the floors and top sheet of the bed. The AC was not working in the main lobby. The pool area and bar was nice. For the price I would probably pick a different hotel in the area

Be prepared that your room will only be cleaned every other day, so we had to call up for more coffee, tissues, toilet paper. Not the cleanest room.

Beds and pillows extremely comfortable , HVAC system is comfortable and quiet (a common hotel problem and this was great). Extremely clean. Rooms small but fine. Lighting a bit harsh, not cozy but part of that contemporary decor style. Coffee in the rooms you will need to update on a daily basis since they only service the rooms every other day. Free coffee in th lobby in the morning is superb quality, I was really happy with the lobby coffee.

Our family booked an impromptu trip to Sarasota and this hotel was perfect. From check in with Patrick who was so patient and helpful with our group of 12 to the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, the beds were great and room 303 was spacious with a corner window for light. Excellent location that is walkable to restaurants. There was a bar with live music on Friday night, a pool table and break out areas to relax. Would definitely recommend!

It is just a 5-6 minute walk to all the Main street shops, bars, and restaurants. We enjoyed the lobby bar with live music.

However I want to add again that everyone was incredibly kind

bed sagged in the middle, TV did not turn on, odd fowl smells throughout property being covered with worse air freshener, dreary atmosphere in hallway and rooms (sterile and gloomy like a prison), poor lighting, whistling wind under door, construction going on...I would not recommend this hotel
