Great hotel, second time staying there. Will definitely be back in the future.

The manager in the office , her name was stephanie, she lied and said that I damaged towel and that I stole towels, and I told her I gave it to the maintenance lady and she said she don't have proof when I told her to them. And she charged me $75 out of my $100 deposit and I don't find that right. Someone needs to get on

No breakfast, but coffee was available in the main lobby. The bed was firm and very comfortable. No hairdryer or coffee maker in the room was inconvenient because they were only available for borrowing in the front lobby. A couple of small enhancements and upgrades to the room facilities would add a lot to the perceived value of the guest rooms.

Friendly reception staff. Quiet despite it being on a main road. Clean room. Good location within walking distance to places for breakfast. Pillows were uncomfortable, so not great for the best sleep.

This Inn is older but well taken care of...rooms are very clean, the staff is great, air conditioning worked great, parking is right there, easy access, and very quiet. I enjoyed my 8 days there.

Parking lot was well lit, staff were very efficient and friendly. The room was clean. There was no hair conditioner - shampoo but no conditioner for my shower. Nevertheless, I survived :) A very cost-effective stop for a one-night stay. I'd stay here again.

This is an older Inn but they keep it up, the pool is very clean as well as the rooms. The bathroom was extremely clean and the staff couldn't be any nicer. In fact, I will be returning there again next week. Super quiet too.

My husband’s back was very uncomfortable from the mattress & never get a room on the street side-very noisy! You have to ask for a coffee maker if you want it in your room….

I liked that it had carpet 2 tables chairs and a microwave and fridge huge plus with your staying more than 1 day the staff were very nice and helpful. Very kid friendly I had my eyes old and he loved it the area was very quiet and near shipping and food itwas a great stay I'll for sure be back No complaints it was great

Awesome spot I travel with my 4yr old and he loves it the staff is really nice and its close to shopping and food I stay twice a month , every month,total of 4 days.a discount for returning guest would be nice.the motel 6 offered it to me but my son likes the rodeway inn better.not a complaint but it would be nice.and I just booked another 2days just now we'll be returning at the end of this month as well.thx guys

We didn't go in as it was raining a lot and chilly. The bed was comfortable. As long as you're just looking for a crash spot with low ambience aside from a centerpiece pool..it's a good spot.

Both check in/out Representatives were friendly and accommodating. I would recommend Roadway Inn to someone who is staying a short time in or around Santee. ☺️

I can’t stress how good this hotel is every time I stay here. Love the location; many dining options in the area and it’s safe. Friendly staff, good housekeeping cleaning crew. I wouldn’t recommended the roll in shower rooms unless you have a disability. Those rooms are tailored more towards people with disabilities with the low bed and shower without tub. Nevertheless, hotel is amazing.

This hotel always meet my accommodations and needs for the price. Not a tweeker drug hotel but a good, safe, peace and quiet place to rest. Rooms on the street side can get a little noisy. Staff is polite. Wish they had more than coffee in the morning with more creamers and tea but that’s too petty to complain. I always stay here when in town.

No free parking inside the premises. Valley parking only and was pricey. If you decline valet parking, you have to find street parking which can be dangerous because you have to cross the street with cars overspeeding.

The location was near stores and restaurants. However, the front desk woman was not suited to customer service as she was downright crabby and irritating. The front desk was poorly attended. We went to check out at 10:00 a.m. and no one was at the front desk to check us out. We had to drop our key in a drop off window. Also, this was an old cheap motel with popcorn ceilings, a faucet too short to reach the sink which caused water to be all over. E en though the counters and furnisings were updated, I would not choose this place again.

In the room: old rug, the bed covers both had lots of burn holes on them. The room was in the back of hotel dont get a room back there. People where hanging out in there cars smoking pot. Theres no security in the noght at the hotel. Felt unsafe for a bit.

I was very surprised by the bed quality. Overall, the room was clean. The bathroom was also surprisingly clean. Tub white. I think they just remodeled the room because most of the room looked new. Regardless, you can't beat it for the price point!

Hotel accommodated all my needs for a good low price. Area had decent dining options not too far away and area seemed safe. Would be even better if there was a small breakfast in the morning but they did have coffee. I am a happy customer and would be returning as long as the price remains low.

We came to Santee to visit Sycuan Casino to play bingo. It was a great place to stay and was a nice drive.

Excellent staff. They are very accommodating and welcoming every moment of your trip. I've stayed here many times over the years and now days it seems Everytime I come they have upgraded some aspects of the building or room. Look forward to the next stay as always thank you staff!

Great location. Not close to freeway so I dont have to listen to freeway noise all night. Large parking lot so I dont have to worry that if i get back late, there wont be a space available. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Linens are changed every day if thats what you want. They respect the do not disturb door hanger and will not enter your room if that is what you choose as well. I stay at the Rodeway often and am very happy doing so.

While the rooms aren't elegant, they were clean and functional. Hotel was conveniently located to where I was conducting business. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Good value for money.

My biggest concern was being charged for three night and not two. Still hoping to get that rectified soon. I usually pay when we make the reservation. This time I opted to pay when we arrived. I have been assured that the 3rd night will not be charged but at the moment 3 nights are showing on my credit card.

The room was clean, bathroom had clean towels, everything was fine and there was a little pool with little palm trees in the middle of the complex giving Melrose Place vibes. It wasn't melrose place but it was quiet. Of coarse if you go close to the road you hear the cars, or people coming and going enjoying their stay, in the room you dont hear anything. Beds were decent and clean with clean sheets, blankets and pillows!

The property was a little dated and needs some minor upkeep; for example there were water stains on the ceiling. The website says they offer breakfast, however, they discontinued that after covid, and now they only offer coffee. Our keycard had to be reprogrammed every day, and this was quite inconvenient; however, the front desk clerks were very nice and accommodating.

Excellent customer service originally I was only going to stay 2 night but we ended up just staying a whole week. Front desk has the most helpful and friendly people working at it. Management was very friendly. They were very accommodating with everything that we needed. Currently they are updating the rooms so I look forward to the next stay.

This motel was extremely clean and convenient. Everything you need is right here. The staff here have been wonderful and pleasant and helpful. The area around here just felt a little ick. But that could be just my opinion on where I live and what my expectations of the San Diego area were. But I would definitely recommend and would stay again

Check in went very well with the friendliest young lady and just wish our stay was as pleasant as our check in.

The bathroom was nice and clean. No blanket on the bed, when asked for one, they brought a threadbare super thin worthless blanket. Sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot, possibly sleeping in their cars. Heater broken. Very high traffic noise. Cannot recommend.

Location was great for us. I would have liked being able to open the drapes without being exposed to someone walking by. A sheer panel would have been nice. Otherwise everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again if in the area

Everything was ok till check-out day, I stepped out that morning about 9:00am went to the store took my suitcase and backpack to the car left a few things in the room put the do not disturb sign when I returned 30 or 45 minutes later the room was already being cleaned they said the front desk told them I had check-out I never told anybody I was checking out they had already gone through my things in the room house keeping had a bad attitude they said they were going to take it to lost and found but not all they throughout some stuff if that was the case why not all !

Needs improvement: - Listing stated "continental breakfast". There wasn't any, they only had coffee at the reception area. - My A/C wasn't working. To their credit, they moved me to another room. - Chair cloth was heavily stained in both rooms I stayed in.

I was ordered the to leave because my service dog barked a time or two. Up on arriving at the motel I was interrogated about my Service dog When I had already told them about my service . After I was completely unpacked The assistant came to the door and said he had called his supervisor and the supervisor told him to tell me to leave. I then had to find another motel.

Management (Stephanie) ,honored my request to get a ground floor room .I stay here a few times a year,while visiting my family. Its always a great stay,clean rooms.friendly and helpful professional staff.

The rom air was/is musty, need to open unused room and simply air it out.

The only good thing about this property was the lower cost. The property is noisy both externally and internally.

I didn’t like anything, the room smelled, there were unsightly people roaming around the property late into the night.

I stay here a few times per year, when I'm visiting family in Santee.Always convenient location and clean rooms.

The bed cover had some holes in it, one looked like a burned hole.

The place is beautiful & SUPER CLEAN. The only thing is that on the bed there I was a spring sticking out. When doing the check out I told the gentlemen & he looked like he could of careless. This could be a good law suit someone could get stab with that spring sticking out. But other then that I am a HAPPY CAMPER. Thanks

No frills, but adequate for my needs. Clean & quiet. Some cosmetic (paint) work seemed to be in progress/unfinished, but did not affect room quality. Conveniently located close to freeway access, Costco & dining.
