Great safe location. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Close to many near by stores, coffee shops and restaurants.

Room was clean, access to it and parking are easy. The outsourced lobby employees are absolutely infuriating. This is the worst trend for hotels. Further, the wifi has never worked there in spite of a number of complaints.

The most horrible experience attempting to check in at hotel. I’ve never seen anything like it.There was a computer kiosk with a person on a head set with really bad wifi trying to check me in. It took a long time to scan my ID. While this was happening a person who worked there came into the office. I was convinced she was coming to help assist with check in because she could clearly see me struggling with the process and to hear him at all but instead she stuck something on the wall and walked right past me. 2 more customers came in so at this point it was extremely stressful. I was told by the man on the kiosk to walk across the room and insert my card 3 different times into a credit card terminal that was saying “approved” but being told it wasnt working. I at this point wanted to leave. I demanded to cancel my reservation. All of a sudden the woman who walked by me earlier was magically available to help me check in. I demanded a refund and she proceeded to tell me how long her day was and thats why she walked past me. I explained that I own a business and I would never treat my customers like that even while currently spending countless hours in a hospital with my infant son and just looking for a place to sleep. She let me know that I would need to refund through third party booking and that “I would have no issues”. Surprise surprise… third party reached out to them and they DENIED MY REFUND!! Such an absolute joke!!!!

Very decent and small, but kept well. You get what you pay for. No registration staff, but a video prompt outsourcing employees from India. They still assist you to their best abilities.

Staff was friendly (including the virtual front desk kiosk that was in use part of the time) however the WiFi didn't work at all (and therefore none of the TV streaming services) during my three day stay and the bottom of the shower was stained. Overall acceptable considering the low price point I paid though. Bed was fine and the rest of the room was pretty clean. Had a microwave and a mini-fridge. They do take dogs for an additional daily fee of $30, which is a bit excessive compared to other similar hotels at this price point.

Quick and friendly check-in and out. Great neighborhood. Nearby places to eat, grocery stores for healthier snacks, and gas stations for convenience.

For the price the rooms were clean and adequate. I appreciated that they let us check in an hour early with no extra charge. That meant that my room hadn’t been cleaned yet but they took care of it immediately.

It was a nice quiet stay. I think the walls were sound proof but I wasn't really around the whole time. I had my cat with me & she was okay. Could've had water options but it's okay

No complaints. The front desk was extremely exceptional, professional, and friendly. I arrived early, and they were able to accommodate early check-in. Parking close to your room was nice. Very clean and modern.

The hotels sheets we got when we arrived were dirty and we had to call several times and were continuously told someone would be up to replace them. Hours later we called again and were told we had to wait to have them replaced and were told they would not be able to replace them til the next day. We called after the time they said housekeeping would be there and were told to wait again and that “they will be there soon”, where again we waited beyond a normal time frame and no one came til after we had left. The sheets we ending up getting from when housekeeping finally came were also dirty. Every single towel was stained with either a red substance or a yellowing substance even the ones I was able to get from a passing staff. You can also hear every time someone does anything in the rooms next to you or outside your room which woke us up several times. I will say while the neighborhood is on the safer side the hotel itself is no better than a motel 6.

Neutral: the bed was comfy to sleep in, though the mattress left a lot to be desired for firmness and support Bad: not really a bad, but the office opens at 7am, in case you area check out before 7 in person kinda person. Today the office opened at 7:20 AM and I was standing there waiting for it to open. You can just return the key in the slot in the door. I would recommend to a friend.

I’ve been here before. This last visit was not what I expected. I checked in around 3:30-4:30pm. It was virtual. I didn’t like that. The first room they gave me the WiFi didn’t work. There was a condom in the drawers and the sheets were stained. The second room they gave me the tv didn’t work. There was a message on the tv to contact their provider.

The hotel is worse than a motel. There is no staff on site after 7pm, you have to call a number to get you to the office to talk to someone on a Kiosk to check in. There is a lady on site to give you the key but extremely rude and unprofessional. The room was cheaply renovated and has strong toxic chemical smells that suffocate you, makes us nauseous, open the door and window does not help. If you have problems, you have to call a number that the people on the phone that just either ignore you or forget about it. You waited long time for the help but the help never come. Finally, you have to call again and be directed to the Kiosk again . The lady on site finally showed up to change to another room for us, but with the same chemical smells. We told the that we can not stay in the room and need to cancel and refund the reservation, the lady says “fine”. Late 11:00pm, we finally found another hotel to stay. Almost one week passed, we have not received refund, terrible.

This is a very simple motel style property but the rooms have been recently renovated and everything is very clean. It was the best price we could find and the location was good for everything we needed to do. There are a lot of places to eat around the area. The personnel was very friendly and accommodating. They even checked with us after we left

This is an old motel that has been refurbished very nicely. It has a good location and I was hoping to add this to the places we regularly stay when visiting family in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, housekeeping visited our room irregularly. The shower drain and bathroom sink drain were clogged, and no one tried to fix it in the 10 days we stayed there. Cannot recommend.

Clean, mini fridge and TV with Netflix was a plus, especially with a baby, staff was nice!

I liked that it was close to Stadium was a 12 minute uber ride away. It was clean and quiet. I did appreciate the water pressure being high ? My only complaint is bed was ultra squeaky and loud. If you move around it makes loud noises. No staff? We had a virtual check in. Ice machine was broken.

In the first room, we looked at the bathroom, had water by the toilet and some dirt. It was unclear with the fluid represented parentheses body excrement versus toilet water). In the second hotel room, we were shown there were hairs in the bathroom in the third hotel room, there was sticky stuff between the two beds unclear if this represented some type of bodily fluid. At that point, we were totally fed up and disgusted by the appearance and left the hotel. There was no one on site to talk with. We spoke with a person by a video feed and informed them of our dissatisfaction. I subsequently went on to speak with hotels.com within an hour or so after we had left that hotel, and found a room at the Hilton hotel, which was appropriately clean. I spoke with a Chantelle through hotels.com yesterday evening, and she informed me that our refund it would be given. I await to hear a confirmation of the refund. Additionally hotels.com should consider strongly not carrying this hotel and its recommended hotel listings.

The room was clean and capacious for the price. Though the amenities in the washroom are a bit worn-out. The toilet even is a bit wobbly. Many big tech companies are within 15 minutes of drive. There are some parking spots, including EV spots. The grilled chicken restaurant next door is pretty good.

They give full size beds and say queen online. No table for setting to eat. Bed table was broke and looked old and badly damaged. Shower had water coming up from under the bathroom floor. No counter space to put anything. Tv didn't work. They give a iron but no iron board. Would never stay here again.

What made it even better was how convenient the location was just off the freeway, close to restaurants, and walking distance to nearby stores. I honestly didn’t expect it to be this clean, comfortable, and well-prepared. It was truly a beautiful stay in every way.

I have been staying here once per month due to work, some stays are longer than others and I always leave a tip for the cleaning lady or ladies, on my last visit I came back as they were still cleaning my room and I asked if they got the tip I left, to which the cleaning lady said no, when I notice the manager or owner was walking. The same area I asked her if she got the tip from the bed area to which she replied yes, I really hope that the tips are been given to the cleaning ladies, which I don’t get why a manager has to be around the cleaning ladies, I hope they are not keeping the tips. It was an odd situation.

The bed was comfortable. Room was clean, shower was nice. We had reserved the room for late arrival. When we arrived close to midnight, we had to go through an automated process. Someone buzzed us into the tiny lobby, but no one was onsite to help us. There was a kiosk with a remote person trying to help us check in via video. The whole process took forever. I have a disability and couldn’t stand for very ling, so we had to bring in a camping chair from the car so I could have a place to sit. We just wanted to check in and go to bed. Their system wasn’t accepting my debit card even though funds were available. It was a very unpleasant experience. The next morning there was no coffee or breakfast.

I was surprised how nice the inside of the room was. Comfy bed good in room coffee nice shower pressure nice smelling shampoo conditioner and body wash I was impressed since it was an old hotel that had been tremendously upgraded!! Good job snd check in was easy on a kiosk kinda strange with a live person on the screen but very easy and fast check in Go have breakfast at Bills down the street excellent food and service there

Check-in caught me off guard as it was dine through a kiosk with a gal in Columbia on the other end. Apparently they keep the front desk area.locked which makes it a bit challenging if you're looking for help with anything. The room was satisfactory, although I found the bed situated rather low, but it was comfortable enough. Shower was great - never saw a drain situation like it... futuristic. No problem with parking near room. Hotel is conveniently located. I think they offer free breakfast, but I didn't have time to partake. All in all, it's a good hotel room for the price

The tv didn’t work due to the batteries being dead. I had to wait till the next day to get new batteries. The the air conditioner went out, it was super hot all night.

Parked in Handicap spot in front of office and walked to office with cane - AI check in gave us a room on the second floor with no elevator. Would not have happened with a human.

No breakfast served and front desk is a virtual person on a kiosk. Room was clean and modern. Room door leads straight to outside. No elevator for 2nd floor. Stairs are narrow. Overall not bad, but also not great. If going just to sleep then should be fine.

The place was conveniently located if you have a car. It was clean and safe, which served my purpose. My only complaint is that the internet connection was spotty. Overall, a good experience.

Beautiful hotel. The service was amazing and friendly. I booked this specifically for the weeknd concert at the levi stadium. i had driven 3 hours from home to attend and was running behind. i checked in, dropped my stuff, and headed out the door immediately. When i got back i just wanted to relax but as soon as i pulled the covers back there were unknown stains on the sheets. No big deal. It was midnight at this point coming from the concert. So we decided against staying and heading back home.

Clean, mid-century decor. Quiet. Floor in room was peeling up and broken, and easy to trip on. Faucet in sink needed to be replaced. It was old and destroyed by the hard water. In spite of those 2 points, I would stay there again for the other good things.

All that said, it was clean enough to feel comfortable (before the morning shower with the bugs in the wash cloth), there is a great, very close trail system, the location is good, and the value was acceptable. Climate control was a wall unit that worked well. I would never stay there again but I slept fine and so did my brother. But this NOT and 8+ property.

Only stayed for a night but room was nice and spacious. Parking available, and quiet area.

The room was updated and clean but smelled a little moldy. Bed & pillows were comfortable.

Was quiet and the shower pressure was amazing and the beds were super comfy and we got to watch Netflix which was great so we didn't have commercials.

The area is dirty. The hotel is old, the rooms have no desks to work on. There is no elevator. The bed mattress is so old. The only good thing was the water pressure in the shower.

This place has a good staff, and is clean. The problem I had with this place is there aren't enough surfaces to put things. No desk or table to eat or work from. The vanity for the bathroom was tiny and barely room for toiletries. I resorted to opening the ironing board to use as a table. The plumbing was also ridiculously loud. It sounded like a jet engine next door when an adjoining room ran water.

We checked in on a Saturday and left on Tuesday. The Wi-Fi NEVER WORKED. What's more, management didn't seem to care. In addition, the handles on the bathroom sink cabinets were missing, making it hard to open. Why rent that room before fixing it?

nice place, convenient location, easy parking, safe and clean. my wife and myself stayed one night to continue our trip. good place to avoid paying in excess and at same time stay in a comfortable and decent place with the family.

I didn’t like it. It looked like they cheaply upgraded the decor of the rooms. The bed sheets were stained. The floors felt flimsy like I was gonna fall through the floor.

I love how clean the rooms are and go easy on the smell. Air our rooms if possible while cleaning. I am amazed that you have electric charging stations that makes your hotel more in tune with consumers. Never seen a charging station at ANY hotel or fancy hotels either. LOVE LOVE the water and coffee pods. Thank you! Another great service. Keep it up.

Lots of restaurants near by. Starbucks, Paris baguette, and a Nosh bagels right across the street.

Areas to improve: offer a lower rate for 2 nights or more stays, in-room microwave

Not the fanciest rooms, but very clean and comfortable. Very satisfied with my stay (1night). Perfect for my needs: reasonable price, comfortable room and convenient location. Staff was very friendly and helpful! This was my second stay at Wafer 450 hotel. This is now my go to hotel when visiting in Santa Clara.

One of the cleanest feeling budget hotels I have been too. Overall the decor has a modern feel, though you can tell a few corners have been cut. The after hours front desk experience was very interesting: they have a machine that can handle check-in and check-out while a person on zoom talks to you and scans your ID/credit card. It takes a bit longer, but I didn't mind too much.

During booking process I had requested for 2nd floor for a quieter room and received confirmation from hotel, but it ended up became 1st floor and no other option when checking-in, had bad experience due to noise and fly inside the room.

The Wafer 450 Hotel wasn't bad. The check in process was interesting & efficient.There was something that kept periodically banging through out the night in the room. We never figured out what it was.

Not bad for a place to sleep. The wall by the bed and bathroom walls need some cleaning. The water bottles in my room were opened seal was broken.

The concierge at the front desk was very nice and polite. Room was clean and so was the property conveniently located near restaurants and my Exam location. Bummer was Wi-Fi did not work.

At night not so good. People next door played loud music second night. Next day Called phone number because no one in office. Told person of problem. Nothing happened. Loud music again next night. Probably will pay more money somewhere else next time. To have a person at desk at all times.

The room I was assigned had high frequency warning signs inside the closet ceiling that said special protective gear required beyond that access point. It was an access point to the roof. Had I known that was the case I would have Nvr booked at that place. Also, the white sheets had dark stains on them. Didn’t stay in the room for longer than 5 min. Got a partial refund, not full refund, even after speaking with several Expedia reps.

Beds were to low. Floors cold. One desk chair no other place to sit. Heater worked but old and noisy. No made service. Would not likely stay again

The bedroom was clean, the furnishings simple. The stay price was affordable, the room amenities included a HDTV, WiFi, and included a mini fridge. There was a simple wall-mounted heater/AC unit, which is needed for the cold winters in Santa Clara. Very satisfied with my stay which went smoothly, but nothing really stood out to make it a 5-star exceptional experience.

Floors feel soggy underneath cheap flooring. Pedestal sink in the room, not in the bathroom, no room to set items to do make-up and hair. Low bed, cheap linens, stinking pillows.
