    The hotel was under renovation for all the common areas and halls at all hours. We did not know nor we were informed until we arrived. We had dust in the room and asked for housekeeping to clean up but was told all the staff was off and this was at 4:30 pm.

    Locate was close to the event we attended. On our check date my husband went down stairs to retrieve a luggage cart. When he asked the front desk clerk if he know where he could find one, he was told that the clerk didn’t know and maybe he would find one on the 3rd floor. He offered no assistance. Luckily he found one by the elevator.

    Not to mention there seemed to be a lot of people who lived there. Moving totes and clothes in and out all hours of the night. Is that why the cops were there? The outside looks so normal, too bad the inside didn’t match. I hope that nice front desk girl finds another place to work soon.

    My father came to visit me, and I arranged for him to stay here for a week. The room was spacious and clean. The appliances were complete, and there was tableware available as well.     The room was not cleaned and sanitized properly when we checked in. I felt there was remnants of the last guest. There was dirt and debris everywhere, including the floors in the room and the bathroom. There was trash left on the bedside table and stains all over the headboard and furniture. There was hair from a previous guest all over the bathroom. My husband tried to tidy up in an effort to stay but the room was too dirty for us to feel comfortable even for one night. I understand Sonesta is a budget hotel. I know it is not going to be a luxurious experience, but I expected more in terms of cleanliness and hygiene. I asked for a different room. The desk attendant said they were fully booked and he didn't have any other rooms available. He (Gonzalo) did not offer to have the room cleaned and only offered a full refund. After I left, I found out he was not authorized to offer the refund and the refund has yet to be approved because it has to go through management. I called Expedia and they could not refund me without speaking with the hotel. After several attempts, Expedia couldn’t reach a hotel representative . I left and had to book a last minute stay elsewhere, spending even more money for what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend getaway.

    This has been one of the worst hotels that I have ever stayed at. Going in the building there’s a strong smell of chemicals, the utilities that are provided are dirty, housekeeping did NOT come in at all for the whole 5 days of my stay. Even though I repeatedly requested for them to come in. The customer service was horrendous. My friend and I were extremely disappointed, and disgusted with everything during our stay there. If you plan on booking this hotel, DON’T. I would give this zero stars if I could.

    The carpet was wet when we arrived and they wouldn't switch us to a dry room, said they were full. Had no explanation why carpets were soaked, was really weird we've never seen that before. SUPER NOISY! Construction going on behind the building, around the building, and by a busy intersection with racing cars at night. Microwave turn thing inside didn't turn. AN EMT WITH AN AMBULANCE lives here! Full sirens at all times of day when it is dispatched. The TV is really dark and no brightness settings. First floor smelled like ROTTING FISH and no one in the front seemed to notice or care. Broken, janky outdoor patio furniture. Super dark and outdated carpet, curtains. My son was cut on a recliner that had exposed sharp metal. I did laundry but only 1 dryer out of 6 worked, had to wait for it to be empty. Instead of fix it, front desk recommended taking my laundry to a laundromat. Will never stay here again, worst experience - do not book here it's horrible.

    Our stay wasn't pleasant, our room was next to the laundry mat (room 114) there was a horrible loud sound coming from the restroom wall. Woke us up and kept us up the whole night until morning. Complained about it and the staff let us know it was due to old plumbing. The odd part about it was that once we complained the horrible noise didn't happen again. Then when complaining and asking about the inconvenience staff members didn't realize I was in the lobby waiting for my husband to pull up (it was raining) I overheard them saying what was our issue, which the staff member jode replied and said they had a complaint they just want to be compensated and given a credit. Although yes we're were expecting some kind of credit there was no offer to move us rooms nor did he care to make things right instead we got a lie to cover up the reason that noise kept us up the whole night. We were very unsatisfied!!! Lower end hotel, customer service was horrible and being lied to is not ok.

    This was not the wonderful sonesta experience I always received. Sonesta simply Orange County airport hotel check-in process was an hour long. once in the room the toilet did not flush they told us to not put toilet paper in toilet. Well you can’t even use the restroom because it won’t go down room. I was asked to stay in the room until maintenance. Would reach there the next day. I was so tired from the check-in. We just handled it by flushing the toilet every five minutes it smelled of urine we had to buy a whole bunch of air fresheners.hotel did not have any breakfast and they did not have a toaster in the room. I asked two times every day and then the last time they told me well too many people steal them. Why couldn’t you have told me that from the beginning their. air conditioner doesn’t work. The one on the wall isn’t connected. You have to turn it on manually and when you do it barely lets out cool air. They gave you a skillet 4 inches in diameter. The only good thing about the hotel is how beautiful the room is. Expedia also had fault in check in because they reserved a handicap room and Sonesta told me I should have reserved another handicap room so whatever I reserved on Expedia wasn’t ready. on Expedia I reserved a handicap room with a tub. Sonesta said they only have walk-in showers. The water spilled all over the bathroom floor. The toilet could not flush urine. I love Sonesta hotels, but this is the first one that I would say do not visit.

    The place smells, particularly the unclean hallways and the rooms. One room smelled like strange chemicals. Then I asked for another room and it smelled strongly of wet dog and animal urine. I politely told the front desk lady I would need to leave as the rooms were uninhabitable. She was fine and said call Hotels.com and we’ll refund your stay. Since I was busy, trying to find another place to stay, I didn’t call until first thing next morning. When I did, hotels.com reached out to the hotel and they refused to refund the first night of the stay. This is even though I was only in both rooms for about two minutes each, before I could not tolerate the sickening strong odor. I’m not that picky when it comes to hotels, I’ve traveled across the country staying in Motel 6’s etc. but I’ve never had to leave a hotel because the conditions of the room were so disgusting. Getting charged more than $100 for this waste of time and gross experience adds to how poorly I rate this absolute nightmare of an “accommodation”.

    The beverage machines Are SHADY (kinda leaves a bad taste, pun intended). There's no pricing visible. When you put in $, THEN it informs that more $ is needed but WILL NOT RETURN if you don't want the product. The Sonesta front desk Doesn't have any information about it. "They're a third party vendor, you'll have to contact them on your own." It, REALLY, reflects POORLY on the facility.

    I loved the small kitchen. It came with pots, pans, cups and plates. Even included a toaster. Everything we needed for the stay was provided. AC was perfect. It got cold fast! Shampoo, body wash and conditioner were all provided too. Staff was nice. Would stay here again

    Manage expectations. I didn't realize I was booking this sort of hotel. Room was clean. Property was pretty icky but not too noisy. 1st room they tried to put me in smelled so bad I couldn't make it in the door. Kitchen cabinets broken. Coffee maker old and gross with cups that don't fit under to catch the coffee. A 2 star, at best. Functioned okay for what I needed.

    At first your front desk try to give me a room on the first level which was fine initially, until we entered the room and it was completely smelling disgustingly from cigarettes. Only then did the front desk clerk finally agree to move me to a different room. The hotel is run down, it's quite dirty not kept up at all, would I recommend this hotel, to my clients, being in the travel industry, 100% no!

    Check in is friendly and accommodating however they do lack a slight amount of urgency. At one point while being helped with check in I was told to wait in the small lobby area so they could help another guest. Luckily I didn’t have to wait long and was able to get a room quickly after that. The room was clean and everything looked up to standard. Only issue was a really bad smell. I opened the windows and ran the AC, which I will say helped a lot and eventually the odor was rather minimal. The area just a few minutes away is nice but if you go in the other direction there isn’t much. If you are looking for a cheap and convenient stay this place may be for you. It’s nothing special but it can work if you aren’t too picky.

    Hotel was run down but the price was good for what I needed. Parking was easy and front desk staff was nice. The room looked like it had been cleaned but the smell of the cleaning products was not pleasant. The smell when you walk in significantly affects perception.     very happy with the staff they were super friendly and remembered me from other stays. Room shows some wear and had a very slight musty scent which dissipated after I turned on the a/c , never had the order again.     Very happy with Sonesta hotel near the airport. Parking was lit. There were plenty of spaces. The staff was very friendly. The hotel itself was quiet room was clean. There was a little wear and tear but overall I’m extremely happy and have booked again on a sidenote they have a small cabinet in a common area hallway that has cooking utensils rice cooker, coffee grinder things to make your stay more convenient as there’s no restaurant or breakfast provided and parking was only seven dollars, which is a steal.

    This was a nice property as expected it gets you the most bang for your buck. Great parking , you can tell its been remodeled a few times but the room was cold and spacious. The only complaint i have is that the Towels are getting close to needing replacement. You can tell they clean them hard and good. Well stay here again if the occasion arises.     It was very dirty, outdated, noisy and there was hair all over the bathroom. It was very unclean… also there was no real front desk at night so if you checked in late, there’s nobody really there to help you after 11 PM… we left the next morning. But the staff was very nice.

    I just needed a bed to get some rest and didn't plan to use the rest of the hotel (like the gym), or even the shower. The bed was decent and I did get the sleep I needed. But the room looked like it was host to a fight and no one wanted to pay for decent repairs. Walls and doors were patched and painted really poorly, light shades were torn and pushed back into place sort of, but should have been replaced, and there were frames on the wall with no pictures. It smelled somewhat unpleasant in the hallways and the room, but not horrible, and things were relatively clean. It left an impression that maybe the hotel went under a pretty nice renovation, but has been left to management that doesn't want to pay for proper repairs, making it into kind of a crap hotel with a nice looking lobby. It was nice to have received an upgraded room, but my 11 year old even joked with me that if we had gotten our original room it would have been a complete nightmare. We won't be returning.

    Everything about this property is 0/10 terrible, except the front desk. The photos are extremely misleading. Upon entering our first room the mildew smell was extremely apparent. There were marks from cigarettes being put out on the side table by the bed. The appliances are not as pictured, they fridge is from the 80’s with food splattered on the side. The shower curtain is dingy and had holes in it. The cabinets and drawers in the kitchen were either hanging off or stuck. The bathroom fan was extremely loud and didn’t work. We had a hard time even sleeping because the room just felt literally so disgusting you could just feel it lingering around you. Stayed for 6 nights and never had room service once. We got 2 bath towels for 6 nights. Do not recommend for the price. You’re better off at a motel 6.

    odd room numbers have road noise since it closer to road. receptionist is very cunning and they wont change the room once you checked in. Before booking online call the hotel and confirm whether is availability of even rooms number which is not facing road and then book else we cannot sleep in night because of car roaring sound..

    Decent safe location... Decent price... Room was visibly clean... Now there's a lot of not so good that comes with it. The place is in obvious disrepair. My non-smoking room (do they even have smoking rooms anymore?) smelled like it still had 20yrs of previous smoking permiated into the walls, carpet, A/C, etc. The chrome fixtures in the bathroom from the light shroud to the shower head were all corroded. The bathroom fan was covered in a thick layer of dust from who knows how long. The room was kind of humid and musty at first before you crank the AC. The hallways are musty, warm, and humid. People are obviously visiting the weed dispensaries nearby and smoking it in their rooms. It all worked out for me, a single guy back in town to see friends and go to a comedy show, but if I had woman or kids with me, I wouldn't accept the conditions. Way too beat up.

    I wouldn’t stay again. It’s okay for one night. They are geared toward long term stays. They won’t service the room or change your towels except every 7 days. Or you can bring them to the front desk and trade for new ones. Check in was difficult. They only allow one name and it doesn’t matter if you call in advance to add another.

    We were only here just two nights and didn't want to spend a lot of money. After booking, I started to look at some of the reviews and thought that maybe we should stay elsewhere, but this place was not as bad as what I was reading in the reviews. Yes this place was cheaper than other nearby suites, we wanted a place that had a kitchenet that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I was pleased that our room was clean, the AC was working and not as noisy as some hotel rooms we've stayed at. The kitchenet was stocked with pretty much everything one would need to cook simple meals and place settings for two. But seating wise, there was seating for one only. I suppose you can call the front desk and ask for an extra chair if there were two people. If I need to stay in this area again, I wouldn't mind staying here. Parking was good even though there was a charge. Other hotels/suites in this area charged more for their parking. We really didn't go out much, but from what we could see when we did go out, the property itself was neat and looked well maintained. Yes we would stay here again.

    While the property itself is in a nice area immediately across from the Tustin Legacy, it lacked in amenities as they were advertised. Their appliance cabinet was completely empty, so they had no other small appliance items I could use for the kitchenette, such as a toaster oven, air fryer, rice cooker, etc. I had to ask for dish soap, but they didn’t have a sponge. The flatware and silverware sets were incomplete, so my partner and I had to share a single spoon, bowl, and coffee mug. Overall, I booked this location so that I could have decent access to a kitchen as I have many allergies and dietary restrictions. I was unable to use it as advertised, which was upsetting.

    The hotel is old. The room was small but showed wear and tear throughout. From a busted recliner chair to a desk chair with holes and scratches. This place needs work. Bathroom door didnt close all the way. Desk had gouges in it. Lampshades are worn and stained. Stains on the headboard and wall by the bed. I could go on. It needs work. Having a small kitchen with fridge and sink was nice. I have photos but cant upload them.

    Not impressive at all. No house cleaning during my stay, and the service was basically nonexistent. The facility is old and outdated, with a small gym that doesn’t offer much. No smart TV in the room, which was disappointing. On top of that, they charge for parking—just another unnecessary fee. Overall, not worth the price. Wouldn’t stay here again.

    Easy parking and the area was nice- safe. The hotel itself was disappointing. There was no dining at all. The fitness area was limited. AND the hotel was dirty. There were cockroaches running in the halls and the cleaning service was poor. My room was not cleaned the entire time. I mentioned the above to the front desk staff and there was not communication from management.

    The place looks fine on the outside, but when you go in it's reminiscent of the old musty hotels you might find off a lonely highway in the middle of nowhere. The hallways are musty with scuffed walls and beat-up door handles. The room was filthy, the furniture was beat up and had holes in it, and there was trash left in a drawer in the kitchen. A strong odor of old cigarettes and cleaner permeated the room. The worst part, though, was a significant leak under the kitchen sink that left a huge pool of water on the floor. I would never return to this property. Horrible.

    This property is good for a quick stay. It does not offer breakfast. The room is basic. There is no lotions. Just a small block of soap for your hands and 3 soap dispensers in the shower. But over all it’s was quiet.

    Very very dirty no cleaning service for 7 days what excuse is that, large cockroaches crawling around the hotel and when you tell them no one there does anything like they already know and don't care to do anything to keep their hotel clean, never in my life saw hotels that is this extreme dirty, you have to bring down dirty towels to customer service to get new towels every day because no hotel service come to your room, customer services very bad too didn't even do anything when i told them also omg charged car parking which is too ridiculous when you stayed there hotel shouldn't charged their guest parking at all. They states security there to watch out the parking such a lie no security that i see but even there is security no one for hotel to charge parkingat all period. Extremely super dirty bad guest service hotel charge high prices not cheap more expensive than motel but more dirty than motel like damn what inconvenient place super far away from places.

    This motel - yes motel is absolutely disgusting. We arrived after a long drive. The lobby and hallway reek of cigarette smoke. The front desk said it was because of the exit doors. Wrong. It is seeped into the walls and carpets. We went to our room and theirs is fuzzy black mold COVERING the AC unit and black mold around the creases in the ceiling. There was one door on the way to the room that you could hear people inside and the lock was duck taped and the door was dented with black dirt from a footprint from where the door was kicked in. Not even the door was wiped down. It is absolutely disgusting. We grabbed our stuff and demanded our money back and left. The health department will be paying them a visit. It is disgusting.
