Loved every second there. Rooms are updated and functional. Will stay there again!

Beautiful place with great amenities. The rooms are well decorated and very clean. We also really loved 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. The outdoor space is just perfect to spend time after the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at The Anchor Inn! Our room was very clean and well decorated. They have excellent amenities that we used throughout the stay including the laundry room, bikes, pool, and beach equipment with beautiful beaches within a mile of the Inn. Will definitely be coming back!

Everything you need and everything every beach hotel should have and does not. Chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, bicycles, laundry, a shell cleaning station. I have nothing for you here??
- 5/5
Very clean and homey feeling and close to the beach! The pool area was blown off daily and they had floats to use as well! There was corn hole boards out for use and comfy hammocks hanging around the area as well. They also had free bicycles for use along with beach chairs and wagons! We brought our pup along with us and they were so kind to leave dog bowls, a little bed and even some toys for him!! Nothing!

The Anchor Inn exceeded our expectations. Comfortable, clean, well thought out, nice amenities. We will be back, hopefully soon.

Beautifully remodeled inn. However, I would like to have a little more personal contact during my visit. The Inn itself is lovingly restored and we especially appreciated the pool.

Very private! Super fancy Quiet! Few min from key locations !

Internet was basically non existent

Everything! Favorite hotel stay yet. So much charm and unique qualities ❤️? The shell washing and drying station was my favorite bonus. All staff we talked to were so pleasant and helpful. Free bikes, washer+dryer, beach chairs, umbrellas and so much more available to use during your stay. Worth the price. Already planning when I can come back!!

Everything about this place is like an HGTV special, we loved it.

We had a great time and would definitely stay there again!

The room was tastefully decorated and very clean! Loved the coffee pods!

It was beautiful and the remodel was absolutely stunning Nothing

Tiny bathroom (unit5) and shower but the room was roomy enough for 2 adults. Biggest drawback is the 10:00 am checkout.
- 5/5
Very nice room. Wish it had been closer to the beach.

Our stay at Anchor Inn may have been short, but it was so sweet! The space was absolutely amazing, and we already can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in Sanibel. The owner was incredibly responsive and attentive, and adding an early check-in was seamless and hassle-free. We loved every minute and would definitely recommend it!

We would definitely stay here again. We had everything we needed and more. Very cute, clean room and property. We felt very safe as well. Friendly staff. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

First of all-very cute outside and in. Well thought out w attention to detail and decor. Had a nice little kitchen-which we didn’t use. Nice air conditioning, quiet (even tho on the main road). Free use of bikes to the miles long bike paths right in front of the property. Close to food and shops. I liked everything.
- 5/5
Anchor Inn is not only in a great location but beautiful. We used the bikes every day!
- 4/5
Nice location. Updated finishes. Pet friendly. No staff on site whatsoever (other than cleaning staff that spoke no English) which was frustrating when we were to check in to Unit 13 and the property only shows 12 units in all signage making us think we were scammed while we sit in 90 degree sun baking trying to get ahold of someone. Finally reached someone by phone after multiple texts and calls and were advised that this was a new unit with no signage. We were apparently supposed to receive a text explaining this. If you’re going to go without onsite staff make sure your system works and you have someone actively managing messages. This made for a poor start but the property is nicely maintained and well located. Some information in the rooms or on property and/or website with local suggestions and helpful tips would have been nice like beaches to explore, where to park, recommended restaurants, etc.

Really cute place, clean, beautiful renovation, good location, owner was easy to communicate with. The bed was really comfortable. My only negative was that in the king pond view room the AC blows right on the bed. I had a hard time sleeping but my husband was ok. We only stayed one night so I dealt with it but if we were there longer I might've asked to change rooms if the AC was different in another room. But overall I would book again on another trip to Sanibel.

Alligators were friendly, no bites. Amenities were amazing, especially the free bikes. Sanibel is such a great island for biking, we will be back!

We stayed in the Signature Cottage, which was beautifully designed with thoughtful details throughout. It truly felt like everything had been considered, from the clean, easy-to-use laundry machines to the beach chairs and towels ready for use. A special mention goes to Jane, who was absolutely amazing warm, welcoming, and always available when we had questions. Her recommendations for food and local activities were spot-on and really enhanced our trip. We would absolutely recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

very clean, great location no check in staff and poor phone reception. No one to help with problems, questions

I thought everything looked like a HGTV remodel very themed and adorable. I even looked to see if it was motel rescue or Hgtv televised location. Use of retro appliances (no dishwasher) smart color and size wise. Parking was very tight. Living area chairs again cute but not comfortable and the couch was on the side view comfortable for one to watch. The bedroom tv never worked and attempted to correct this didn’t happen. And then a small refund to compensate never received asked for 3 times. 2 nights and it was early march we didn’t expect beach weather went to shell and wanted to watch tv and relax we were a short stay but not a value for the cost stay. The property is very cute but there is one in and one out, in is hard to see and a long line of cars daily just to drive in. There are overwhelmed restaurants across the street. I realize still working to rebuild but be prepared to plan for certain situations. We did find some special shells and have a nice memory for this years college spring break.

The room was clean, quaint & had everything we needed. The onsite laundry facility came in very handy. We took a hammock nap that was amazing. We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Loved it! They thought of everything. Well done.
- 5/5
Loved the property! Excellent for families or couples. It’s close to the beach and the facilities are beautifully remodeled.

You probably will not stay in one of the triangular cottages. Most rooms look like a one-story motel and are not well represented on the hotel web site. However, everything about the room was high quality and comfortable. Our room (07) overlooked a pond with anhingas, turtles and egrets. Free bikes with helmets and locks, free guest laundry.
- 5/5
Very cute vibe! Location was great -right on main “drag” walking distance to several places but biking is the way to go! So much fun and with the bike paths you can basically go anywhere. Perfect size for two. Very clean and lots of little touches that made it better like the shell cleaning station.

Wonderful stay. Super cozy and close to everything. Just a short bike ride (bikes included on property) to Nerita Beach. We felt right at home for our weekend stay!!

AC was a little too cold at first, but we figured it out.

Limited counter space in bathroom.
- 5/5
Room was spotless. Had free bikes, locks, helmets. Even has a shell washing station! Keurig with coffee sugar and creamer minis, a mini fridge and cooktop if you wanted it. King Bed was very comfortable!
- 5/5
Beautifully decorated Appliance were new and high-quality beds were very comfortable. Pool was spectacular. The grounds were very well kept everything was clean. Newly rebuilt, a few minor issues but nothing worth talking about. Our accommodation was a close enough to periwinkle to hear the trucks and traffic. But there is a lot of construction going on on the island

This hotel was perfect It was decorated beautifully and was so clean and the bed was so comfy and the rainfall shower was very nice, the room had everything you could need for a nice vacation there’s a market within walking distance which had everything you need to make your stay perfect highly recommend this hotel anytime we come back to Sanibel we will always stay here

It was so cute and very clean. I loved the decor. Leaves from the trees blow into the pool but that can't be helped
- 5/5
Great stay! The bikes were such a bonus! We rode all over the Island. The room looked brand new and had such a quaint feel to it. It was more than we could have asked for!

Everything was great all of it. But I am gonna mention something in which I do understand but should be revised. I understood that check in was at 10am but was told a different story on email and in person
