Budget Inn Sanford

I gave all categories five stars for a reason. Every aspect fulfilled my expectations in quality and service. It was an excellent stay. I will definitely use Budget in my future travels.

I was staying there for my contract job and needed to sleep during the day. Apparently there were some renovations and there was quite a bit of noise, but other than that it was fine.

Price was great. The cleaning solutions use for room was to strong and over powering. Needs more lighting in bathroom

I was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and stocked with towels, washcloths etc.. Front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent. Could use thicker towels but the ones they have do the job. Bed was a little on the hard side for me but I did get sleep. Pool was nice and clean.

The staff at this location was amazing.

Close to the airport,pool was good.The young lady at the front desk was great and checked me in quick.There is an IHOP next door. A blood stain on one of the bedsheets.Had to wrap a piece of plastic so the shower lever would stay up and the shower would work.Also one of the beds had really noisy springs.Everytime we would move the bed would creak.This was room 101.

The front desk clerk was AMAZING. He was very welcoming at check in along with each day I was there. I travel often for work and stay in a lot of hotels. This hotel clerk was by far the kindest and most helpful person I have ever encountered during a check in. He was always smiling during my 4 day stay. Definitely recommend this place.

It was clean and comfy. It was really close to the Sanford Orlando Airport. I was concerned about location when the entrance was locked after 9pm and the direction was to use a window to check in. The hand and face towels were overused and should be replaced, shower towels were fine.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The bedding looked clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was noisy and I have better looking rags than what passed for towels and washcloths here. They were old, yellow and almost see-through. There was shouting outside our room in the middle of the night. The best thing about the hotel was it was very close to the airport.

It was perfect for what I needed. Nice clean property for me to get a good nights sleep. Easy check in and out..

The stay was fair . The downstairs neighboring rooms were loud and the room had very poor sound proofing . Seemed as the whole downstairs were full time residents .

Was very convenient to get to the airport; however, they only gave us one bath towel so my husband had to use a hand towel to dry himself off after showering.

Parking was easy, the room was clean however the towels didn’t seem too clean. The housekeeping staff was very nice. The only thing I would suggest is that they provide with at least 2 new towels before giving out the used ones.

They have washer machines, which is super comfortable. The hotel was nice and clean, making for a very comfortable stay. In the back, they offer a grill area with a lovely view of the lake.

The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Welcomed me warmly and was helpful with local directions to a good restaurant and finding groceries.

They didn't list IHOP on their list of close restaurants and we could have walked there instead of the messed up order we got from Culvers. We were told the lobby was 24-7 I went to get coffee today and the door was locked. More areas for smokers!

Good place to stay close to Sanford airport. Plenty of parking and nice setting by a lake. Property was well maintained. Room was clean and bed comfortable, but furniture needs updating.

Very close to the airport and helpful with early flights!

The front desk person (Bebi) was great! The AC was super noisy. Other guests talking loudly in parking lot till 2am! Everything worn and run down!

The price and the distance to the airport were good. But the room was outdated and beat up looking.

My husband is an evangelist, and we travel to the area for almost a week visiting friends that are Missionaries. This Inn was more pleasant to stay yet than a Hilton or Hampton.. friendly staff that goes above and beyond, the room was clean. The property was clean. The pool area with a view of the lake was charming.. if I had to say one thing negative about this day, it would be that the pool was not heated or that they didn’t offer a Jacuzzi for cooler temperatures. Honestly, there is nothing to complain about. And it was very convenient that IHOP was right next-door. Thank you budget Inn staff for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.

Front desk staff was nice. Some of the guest were actually residents. The amenities such as iron is not in the room as you have to walk to the front desk to check out an iron if one is available. The furniture is very old and the beds were uncomfortable and squeaky.

Only 2 towels were in the room for 3 adults registered. Pillows could use some replacing. One bed was very noisy. Any movement produced creaky noises.

At check in, we were asked what floor we'd like to be on, which was granted. We were able to park by our room. It's an old hotel with thin discolored towels and had areas that didn't look clean. There was an unpleasant odor in the room. We were only staying the night before our morning flight, so I didn't complain. It's very close to the airport. I would not return.

The best thing about the hotel was it was very close to the airport.

The room shameful in regards to lack of towels and there was a loud buzzing noise all night long coming from the bathroom and too late in the night to report so I didn’t sleep and reported in the morning. They refused to comp my room. I will never stay again. The pool was old and in dire need of repair but the water was clean. Hardly any chai’s and no umbrellas. The scene is beautiful because the motel is on a lake. The dock was closed however so no where to sit to relax and gaze out. No chairs or park bench. The donor have a shuttle to the airport and the taxi and uber service is available but expensive.

That it was close to shopping center The room was dirty, the towels were very thin and barely dried anything, the pillows were like sleeping on rocks, walls are very thin (was woke up at 2 in the morning by a man’s voice that sounded like they were in the room with me) and the night staff was kinda rude at check in.

Overwhelming cigarette smell and burn marks from butts on table and counters. Previous stay there was very good. The were having water issues with sub freezing temperatures and they were limited on rooms and staff apologized when I checked in so I knew there was not a replacement room available for me.

I’m not a finicky traveler so I don’t like giving mediocre reviews but this room was nothing more than an okay stay. It served the purpose as a place to sleep close to SFB International Airport due to a canceled flight.

Very dim lighting in the room - even with a bright fluorescent bulb in the dressing area. I had to shine my smartphone flashlight to see how to use the coffee maker and the microwave. The air conditioner in the room sounded like it was ready to blow up. I’ve never heard one so loud that still functioned. The only other room available had only a double bed. Then, with almost every room sold, the pool was shut down and locked around 7pm on a Saturday night

And when I say traffic, I mean in the drug sense. If I were to guess I would say meth one of uncle Mike’s customers came knocking at my door at 3 o’clock in the morning, and when you realized he had the wrong room, he mumbled some swear words and went to uncle Mike’s room next-door. They have long-term residence at this hotel, which I was unaware of, and as I’ve stated they’re involved in some less than savory activities. Also, there was a woman in a wheelchair in uncle Mike’s room who is neglected and spent most of one night screaming and crying. I don’t think there was anyone in the room with her. This is not a family, friendly lodging, and I will not be staying there again and I will also be posting a strongly-worded google review.

The not good: Room is rough. Moldy grout around tub, furniture in bad shape, bathroom door so warped it wouldn't close. If you don't have any options it will work, but I would not want to be there with my family.

The room was clean, offered all the amenities you'd expect, and both check-in and check-out ran about as smoothly as they could. For the price offered, I thought Budget Inn offered an outstanding stay, as I've stayed at significantly more expensive places that weren’t as well tended to.

Check in was great super easy, I arrived pretty late but less than 5 minutes to check in. The only thing I can say is the beds aren't the most comfortable, but it is a clean bed to sleep in. The tables nightstand and fridge could use some upgrading they are fairly worn but overall decent stay for the price! - Coffee is pretty decent as welll !

Strong smell of bleach in the room that made me sick. Towels were thin as papers, sketchy individuals on the property. Did not feel safe!

It's a good quality discount hotel. Clean which is the most important and rare thing for discount lodging. Young girl working front desk was very nice and great customer service rep. on 8/12

So far so good, quite on a nice area, and near airport, how ever, beds and furniture are outdated, a/c didn’t get cold enough. But I guess that’s what we get for the price.

Friendly and courteous service. The rooms pretty dark. Old decor. Scratched furniture. Plenty of space to create gardens and sittng areas but bare. It seems the grass is not cut regularly. The boardwalk in the picture is not accurate. It is boarded to stop anyone from using it. Pool area is big and plain. May have limited sitting during high tourist season. Close to restaurants and places to visit. Pillows are horrible for the neck.

I Always stay here when flying out of Sanford airport, convenient to restaurants, and the rooms are always clean. And staff is always friendly.

Well furniture look like it came out of the trash. We had someone walk into our room at 3:43 in the am. They some how had a keys linked to our room. Not happy! Linen was fine. It was close to the air port but next time I’ll pick some where else.

We just had a quick stay as our flight was early, and it was easier then traveling that early in the morning. Never explored the property or checked out the pool. If youre looking for a decent affordable place, clean, pool, etc, this is it. Microwave and fridge in room.

The staff was not very helpful. The air conditioner sounded like a truck. When I asked to be moved they sent a repairman. He was nice but didn't fix the problem. Went back later could not sleep. Bebi was at the desk and she said no problem and changed my room. I thank her.

This was average lodging. Compared to others, I’ve been on worse and better. Most uncomfortable with the cliental walking around. I prayed for a goodnights sleep and that’s what I got.

Hotel was old, warn-looking. Room was dated: dead bugs & hair in tub, stains on shower curtain, coffee maker broken, power button on TV remote didn't work

A lot of very sketchy characters staying there and hanging out. Covered vehicles in the parking lot that were clearly there long term. One guy pulled up blasting music as he took his time doing whatever before leaving. The front desk attendant seemed like it was a real bother to do his job. The TV didn’t work. No signal at all just snow. The room was way less than clean including the roaches. I slept on top of the bed fully dressed and could not wait to leave in the morning. Never ever again.

Check in was easy and simple. Room- air conditioner didn’t work. Shower head and fan in bathroom were dirty. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and in area before bathroom. Overall this place I do not recommend at all. Disappointed and disgusting! Sheets didn’t look like they have been changed.

It was inexpensive and close to the airport. There was a strong smell of an air freshener. The bathroom door didn't open/close because it dragged on the tile floor.

Had a problem with bed and they fixed right away, they went out of thier way to make our stay wonderful. Great staff.

Loud disturbance in parking lotat 1:30 am for 30 minutes; yelling and cursing. Also ice machine was not working.

Staff could use a personality

Room and staff were great. Shower handle loose and about to fall off. Towels small, thin and rough. We had to ask for more towels. Overall, this is a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. I would recommend it to friends.

Needs attention to Roach problem in room.

The staff at both check in and checkout were great. However the room was dirty, literally bugs both dead and alive in our bed sheets and the shower area was dirty. Noise from other guests and from the apartments behind the hotel made it impossible to sleep.

Was cheap!!!

The staff was super friendly and the housekeeping staff responded to requests promptly. Everything was clean in the room and well maintained. The outside was picked up and free from litter. There are residents on the property and some were outside socializing with each other. They were not vulgar or rude, they were quite friendly. I imagine this is what bothers a lot of reviewers giving this property low ratings. This is the reality of the US economy right now. Any motel/hotel at this price point will have long term guests.

The prices are fare but the rooms are not that great. I saw roaches in the middle of the night. It had a certain smell. The ac unit was old. Very loud noise during the day. Stood by the maintenance door and all I kept hearing was them slamming the door. During the night is more quiet.

I've stayed on many occasions throughout the last couple of months and I've had no problems. Staff is awesome facility is clean and very quiet

I like this room. But i have even see this for I don't like or unpleasant. Black spot sheet bed, bug bed, Roaches, spiders, and not safe lock the door aint work lock it. Because we are deaf.

easy in, easy out

So dirty i slept in my car.

Roach infested. Low quality towels. Asked a staff for additional towels and she said yes and never came back. People had to use handwritten do not disturb door signs. We asked for our money back since we did not want to stay in roach infested room. Was told no.

I was on the 1st floor and could hear footsteps upstairs....the ceiling and walls were thin. Past midnight, there were people outside talking loudly...I did not sleep well at all.

We needed a quick respite, a few hours of sleep before getting our flight back home. Older hotel. Clean. Very basic. The man behind the counter incredibly considerate and helpful. This is a hotel for location only. You're not hanging out.
