No amenities at all, bathroom has super thin bath towels I had to buy some my own the towels they have old stains with old blood spots sheets had some stains as well the bed super uncomfortable to sleep pillows has zero support I’ve stayed in many hotel/motels and this is by far the worse one ever

Nice throw-back motel; certainly not an Inn. But fine for us. Surprised at how quiet it was, considering its proximity to the freeways. Comfortable beds, too. Safe parking in front of the room. Very helpful staff.

It’s a great place to stay! Nice big bed, it’s got a table, tv, mini fridge with a microwave and a nice shower, front desk lady is really nice. Oh and there’s free parking.

North Bay is an older hotel and dated. While the room was clean, the carpet and furnishing are older. We chose this place because of the location close to highway 101.

Pretty nice affordable hotel! I will definitely be coming back! Cards sometimes don’t work but the front desk staff will help fix that. Overall it was pretty clean and tidy, excellent experience.

Very convenient location. Right at the 101/580 intersection, so there was traffic the whole time. A very sketchy neighborhood, so I don’t think I’ll be stopping by there again.

I experienced an ongoing BED BUG issue, including repeated bites and video recorded bed bugs in multiple rooms, even after being relocated. This created an unsafe environment, especially while recovering from 2 surgeries. Management did not handle the situation appropriately. I was met with denial and blame instead of accountability. Despite providing photo & video evidence and even handing a live bed bug to staff, I was not offered a reasonable solution. I was insulted instead. I was asked to accept a minimal refund for the remaining days.. only if I signed a waiver and left, which would have forced me to relocate while physically compromised. Even basic requests, such as being moved to a clean room, were not handled with urgency or care. The overall response demonstrated a lack of responsibility for what is a serious health concern. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The property has regular look to it from the outside, but the room is what counts and they seem to have been recently modernized to give you the big hotel look and feel.

Although close to the highway and another road, the noise was not disturbing at night. Very nice, clean and large room! Perfect for a couple of nights in a very nice area.

It was good pricing, parking right in front of your room, close to a lot of places to eat. Reception lady was able to accommodate our request for quiet room. Bare essentials. No table, but two chairs. Bathroom is very tight, the door almost hits the toilet seat when opened. Very close to highway, if you are a light sleeper, the noise will bother you.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel. Near the hospital, freeway, and stores/restaurants. Has a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Very basic hotel. The North Bay motel on Francisco Blvd in San Rafael is an adequate place to stay if you do not expect much more than a bed to sleep on. Amenities included are a coffee maker, microwave small refrigerator and a tv.  upon arrival, It would be advisable to ask them to turn up the hot water heater, especially if you like a hot shower in the morning.  There are plenty of towels in the bathroom but that is only because they are the thinnest towels I’ve ever come across. It takes at least two to dry yourself off.   Bring a pair of sandals to walk around on the floor/carpeting, it is a dark color and even though a good vacuum can erase a thousand sins, exercise caution.  The one stuffed chair is comfortable but again, bring a blanket or use your jacket to sit on.

It’s next to a noisy freeway, which was tolerable but uncomfortable. Also the room wasn’t in great condition, the carpet was stained and ripped, and was sticky if you walked on it. There were also red streaks on the carpet and sheets (!!!) which might have been blood? Eek

Room is decent and clean...affordable. Only downside...no wifi or TV.

The room was large, with a king bed and a sitting area with a sofa, larger than most motel rooms. The bed was very comfortable. And the room, including the carpet, was very clean and well maintained. It’s located right on the freeway, so we were glad we had earplugs—which solved the problem. The facility is older.

They put me in a quiet room. Toilet ran some, but I told them.

The night I stayed there were a bunch of modified cars and lowrider trucks ripping around the neighbourhood with latin American flags out the windows. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the hotel manager was very welcoming. Because I checked in around 6pm, I was told that the only room left was the room facing the street across from the freeway. The noise was tolerable going to be (white noise) but the sounds of freeway traffic woke me early in the morning. I'm hoping that a room further from the freeway, next time, will be more comfortable.

The shower was a horrible the shower curtain didn't work, water sprayed all over the floor every time I took a shower no bar soap no shampoo just a little dispensers that didn't work couldn't figure out how to turn the hot or cold water on, the air conditioning didn't work too hot or too cold the woman that checked me in was not very nice at all especially when I ask for another room she refused even though the hotel was empty. The housekeepers were wonderful they cleaned up the mess in the bathroom every day I wish I could get my money back from the hotel that's how bad it was! I was so uncomfortable there wasn't even a chair to sit on, there is a desk chair but who wants to sit on a desk chair to watch TV. Oh the window blinds on the windows were all broken so you close one and all the levelers wouldn't move you had to do each one individually because they were all broken on both windows, and every time I closed the door I had to slam it really hard or I didn't close the key was inadequate also. And another thing, no place to plug in my electronics everybody has a phone nowadays and everything else that's plugged into those things the only Outlet next to the bed had the lights plugged into it it was an unbelievably bad stay! Please help me get my money back thank you

There is a great small, but full service "Starbucks" like neighborhood place right at the end of the Motels parking lot. Even saw 10-12 local policemen in there on Saturday morning !

What a lovely room - comfy bed, spacious roo., everything I needed. The freeway can be a bit noisy, but for a great room under $100, just take some earplugs.

We did not even ask for anything extra-Asked for a 2 bed room were told it cost more and we declined politely. Nevertheless check in un welcoming perhaps a tuff day!! Having said that the room was better than expected. Clean well maintained and comfortble and everything else. Perhaps they were having a bad day,

It was a good place to stay for a couple of nights. The bed was not extremely comfortable but not horrible either. I was pretty cold both nights but when I turned the heater on it was too loud so I couldn’t sleep with it on either. Location is pretty central and parking is free. Overall, it was a great stay for having a place to crash! Would recommend for quick trips to north bay. The owner is super nice and accommodating as well.

It was the worst costumer service I have ever experienced. The person who worked at the Inn scolded me as if I were a child and treated me like I had no intelligence whatsoever. I highly recommend NEVER staying here.

Really lumpy pillows. Yuck!

1) there was NO small desk to use for my laptop, though the wi-fi worked quite well. I had to sit the computer on a tiny rotating little "kid desk" on a lounge chair. 2) Somehow the TV never went to the normal channels and we finally gave up on getting even local news. Someone from the motel could have fixed it ... if they'd been sent after we told them the problem. The breakfast was limited, just some granola bars and muffins but nothing "hot" like waffles, eggs, or the like. Bob T.

Although it was never a concern, I wouldn’t walk around the neighborhood at night. It’s probably because I’m old . the room is fine. No problems.

Even though I didn't get to stay in the room the service was terrible I was still charge when I didn't even check in front personal informed me that they will contact Expedia for expedited refund that never happened I respectfully request to be refunded because I never checked into the room and the service was not good

Not all their fault...I should've checked before booking. And I won't be towing a trailer the next time I stay.

However the room was clean and a bed for the night as we needed to continue our road trip.

it was a simple well kept and clean room

Good hotel, you get what you pay for
