The hotel is in a very convenient location to the San Francisco Airport. The grounds are well lit and very safe. The hotel itself is very clean. Nothing to complain about.

We had some issues with our keys, first my brothers wasn't working he got his replaced then mine didn't work and I had to get mine replaced as well, so a little bit of a pain but they were fast about replacing them and nice about it

There was nothing I didn't like. I wish there was a pool or sauna but it was a great location. The bathroom door had small gaps so I felt shy to use the bathroom since we were in a group setting.

I liked that this place was off the freeway and that there were Tesla chargers on site!! We rented a Tesla for the weekend and having a charger at the hotel was a plus. The beds were really comfortable with good pillows. The washroom and room were clean. When my friend fell, they offered us a bandage and medicine. When I requested a late checkout for 2 pm so that my friend could rest longer before we had to go to the airport, the manager Cameron allowed that and was very helpful. They did not provide complementary bottled water in the rooms. You had to sign up for a Hampton thing to get free water, which I didn't want to. The speed bumps(cushions) are a hazard in the parking lot where the raised middle section is not marked and difficult to see at night, and my friend tripped badly and sprained her ankle.

The property was so clean and aesthetic! The breakfast had great options and specialty waffle batter flavors! They have gluten free and dairy free offerings as well. The outdoor patio area has yard games and a fire pit, sadly we didn't have time to use it but it looked lovely. Customer service was immaculate! I needed early check in and the staff member went above and beyond to accommodate. I recommend calling about a week ahead so they can write the request down, and again the very morning of your visit. Check in was seamless and the rooms were well sound proofed! Beds were comfy and bathrooms had great lighting. Will definitely come back here!

We used to live in the area for decades but returned for a wedding. Our check in was smooth and friendly. We walked into the room and were impressed by how clean and quiet the room was in spite of having the freeway view. Breakfast was pretty impressive for an economy hotel. Parking is free but at night, can be a little crowded. Other than that, we plan on returning whenever we return.

Our complaint is this hotel does not have a pool the hotel is aware the pool I advertised by third party apps like this one they have asked to have the photos removed but that has not been done by the third party apps this is misleading and confusing we would have selected another hotel had we known there wasn’t a pool here. But the stay was nice and the people are very friendly!

Just got a horrible experience at this hotel, the room was filthy, not clean at all, I found several bedbug and called customer service to take care of it , but, no one has the decency to come and take care of the problem, I didn't have choice to cut short the stay at this hotel and asked the front desk to refund the money and they refused. the food that I ate at the breakfast was bad, that I got diarrhea the whole day, I really got a bad experience at this location and won't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel

We stayed at this hotel for a 3-day volleyball tournament. The staff were kind and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and having a buffet breakfast was a great bonus. The gym was clean, and the equipment was in good condition.

This place was ok. It is a newer building and it was pretty clean. Not too much noise even though it overlooks the freeway. I did not like the neighborhood. I was expecting my car to be broken into although that never happened. The price is reasonable and I would stay there again. Sketchy neighborhood.

The hotel and accommodations. Towels, linens, furnishings were all very nice. Finding the front entrance driving in and parking near the entrance to the hotel was a premium.

To their credit, the overnight staff did step in and resolve the situation each time. However, the repeated disturbances did give me pause about staying here again, as it’s difficult to take the chance of not getting a good night’s sleep.

It usually is too strong and it blows to our heads when we sleep at night. But I am not sure how it can be improved. We have reported this to the front desk when we checked out this time. I drove to San Mateo from San Diego for business. When I looked for hotels (which took me three days, because I'm so indecisive), I specifically looked for hotels with high ratings in cleanliness as that's my primary concern. This hotel didn't disappoint. It was so clean! Not just the room but the common areas as well. Room was a little small but the bed was comfortable. Front desk staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. Free parking was a true plus. Thank you Hampton Inn and Suites!

Hotel is painfully close to the freeway. The noise is constant. Hallways are insanely, unnecessarily bright. Impossible not to disturb sleeping occupants if you open the room door at night.

When we moved in, no shower gel. No one refilled. After the room cleaned, the trash can in the room was still full.

Second, while the staff is kind and provides excellent customer service, they appear to be short-staffed. On multiple occasions, my calls to the front desk went unanswered. Once, I had to go down to the lobby myself, where I found only one agent handling a line of guests checking in. That said, this hotel does have a lot of positives: the property is well-kept, the facilities are clean, free parking is provided, and the continental breakfast is a nice convenience. Overall, I would say this is a good place to stay, and I would consider returning in the future.

Best hotel I have stayed in in the bay area. Clean, safe, excellent included breakfast, free parking. The location is midway in the bay area, so 20 to 30 mins drive to anywhere. In addition it is a 30 mins walk to Bridgepointe shopping center which has plenty of restaurants and shops.

One of the best designed business traveler's hotels I've stayed in. A beautiful and relaxing space. Only issue was very slow, almost non-existent, maid service and very unhelpful front desk staff.

The rooms were clean, tidy, and very comfortable. We all especially loved the beds. The queen size ones were perfect and so soft. We all slept very soundly on them. The staff was very kind and helpful with our questions. Even the silly ones like "Where are the stairs?", when my kids wanted to explore a little bit. I plan on staying here again in the future.

Likes: Free parking. Right off highway. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Plenty of outlets and USB. Shower was spacious but water pressure was weak. Dislikes: Room too small for two queen beds. Sliding bathroom door did not shield noises (running faucet and toilet flushing was very loud). Only one chair. Breakfast fair. Eggs and sausage patties did not taste like real eggs and sausages. The hard boiled egg made up for it. Bread items good. Loved the strawberry cream cheese! Waffles a plus. The tong for the muffins too small. Staff insisted tong be used for muffins but couldn't clamp the muffins without smashing it. No sanitizer anywhere. Should at least be placed around food area so guests can sanitize their hands after touching all the serving utensils and liquid dispensers.

Location is very convenient for my business trip. Check in and check out staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Checked all the important boxes. But for some odd reason the noise between rooms was loud, keeping me up all night hearing footsteps thumping down the corridor and from the room up above. Strange problem for a building like this. Breakfast was basic but as expected for this hotel tier. House coffee worse.

Though they had very few towels, when we inquired with the front desk, they said housekeeping will come on day 4, however, when we returned to our room on day 3, they refilled with plenty of towels to spare and took out the trash. What was bothersome was the breakfast staff. When we would go past 9:30am, almost everything was empty (pastries, condiments, yogurt, etc.) and no one to refill when breakfast ends at 10am. The lack of service was quite shocking given how often I stay at hotels with breakfast, (our 3rd one in 2 weeks). It was very off-putting to have people, including us, walking around looking for food to eat besides make-your-own waffles.

Very clean. Big breakfast buffet. The rooms were comfortable and the shower was big.

New and clean rooms and the food was culturally diverse. They have rice for breakfast which we Asians appreciate. Thank you.

I really liked this hotel. The staff was super friendly and the hotel was clean and modern. Also free drinks 24 hours. Breakfast was also good. Great location right outside of San Francisco.

The food was not good. The hotel was not clean. The hotel clogged easily. They were not very accommodating.

Everything are great, just need improvement with the shower pressure, it is weak.

Front desk is wonderful; the price was higher than I prefer to pay for accommodation , but the staff and the location are why I’ve booked here a few times

Sand on the bedding, when ready to go to bed felt it on the bedding had to swipe it off

No room service throughout the stay. In the bathroom there was a sticker on the mirror stating room service is offered every other day so I assumed it would be provided every other day but it was not.

Great hotel. Except the TV was not working properly. Due to the cable provider. They reset it to no avail. Supposed gave me points as compensation but not having a tv after a long day was disappointing

The breakfast was a joke, no ice on every floor,

Toilet was not working properly . We flushed it the first time we used it and when we used it again and tried to flush it nothing happened. The tank never filled back up with water. We had to take off the lid every time and push the button on the top for it to refill.

The eggs were cold. Breakfast was so so and just the standard items. A bigger selection of fruit and protein items and warmer hot food items

Great hotel!

This is the best Hampton Inn that I have stayed. It is locatted just off the freeway but the room was extremely well insolated so it is very quiet. Also very clean, comfortable beddings, towels, pillows and mattresses. It is steps away from a shopping center with a bunch of nice restaurants plus an Asian grocery store. Also a very short walk away from the Foster City Levee Pedway for miles and miles of walking and jogging trails. On top of that a well stocked breakfast daily plus free parking. A rare fine for the area and will definitely stay sgain in my future visits.

Would like improvement on parking lot due to spots taken by unused Tesla charging stations.
