Digital key wasn't available at 4pm. I had to check in at the front desk. The shower's water pressure was very weak. Otherwise, the place is clean, and the staffs were helpful. Good value!

The phone in the room didn’t work, it was so uncomfortable and just basic the pool got the kids sick there was way too much chlorine. Ghetto area of town and just won’t be staying here again or recommending it to anyone and we go out that way a lot

Every time someone burns toast in the lobby it triggers the smoke alarm and all of the fire alarms go off in every single room on every floor. Lucky for me it happened two mornings in a row

The shower was great. the room was super clean and comfortable but for the location I think it's way too expensive. I paid $240 for Saturday night and 127.00 plus taxes for Friday night. If you have dogs, there's one very small pet relief area in the front and no other place to walk them except through the parking lot so it's not the best for dogs either

Excellent atmosphere.

We asked for adjoining rooms and they quickly accommodated us. This was not an option when I booked so I was glad it was doable when I asked in person. Although it’s near a freeway entrance, it was quiet and even seems out of the way. It was also close to many places to eat, to visit, and bart. I am already considering booking Hilton Garden Inn for when I travel again.

Everything is clean, fresh, and looks great at this hotel! I enjoyed my stay here. The staff is friendly and the hotel does a great job to make sure everything is clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here especially if you are visiting the other surrounding cities in the Bay Area. Its close to the freeway and has a lot of restaurants nearby to eat at.

Me and my son stayed here after a trip to the zoo. Amazing staff were super friendly made it so easy to check in. We also enjoyed the pool and the amazingly clean room would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel,very convenient for our needs however the room are supposed no smoking rooms but ohh surprise in 2 weekends in a row we got out room with extremely cigarette smell the guys offer a diferent room and was the same or worse any ways and in my last stay same thing I reported to front desk but no mayor care about it , I will love at least a little more care about the guest

Booking.com said there was a shuttle service available from OAK airport to the hotel. There has not been a shuttle service for over 5 years according to the hotel. It cost $25 for an Uber.

San Leandro Location...shopping resturants outside of hotel. (1) The shower system not user friendly for short people. Need to be updated! (2) leaving hotel: signs should be upated, hard to see that you're entering a one way street when leaving Hotel ....very dangerous! More signs to indicate where entering and leaving.

The location is great. The bed was comfortable. Needs a heavier comfort on tbe bed The water from the shower wouldnt drain fast from the bathtub

The room was not well maintained, they were holes patches done on the roof where the bed was as well as the bathroom. The bathroom bench was filthy dirty and looked like it would breal if someone sat on it. The bathroom sink was clogged, and shower wouldnt shut off probably.

Very clean, modern room. Lights were just right, not like other hotel rooms where they are blaring in your face or too bright. Hotel lobby was great for getting work done on the laptop as well.

I had a good day, but at the end, it was horrible a receptionist by the name of Melissa she was very rude. She was not accommodating. I didn’t get my some of my stuff refunded like I wanted to, and I would like to speak to corporate if possible.

Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I was not able to order food. At first, the webpage with the menu wouldn't load. When it finally did, I called several times to place an order and was sent to a full voicemail box. There were a couple of salads left for purchase downstairs. It would have been nice to know if the kitchen was unavailable so I could have planned accordingly.

Our main reason coming to California was for a concert in Oakland but we were being tourist in San Francisco for 2 days prior to Fridays stay in Oakland. Compared to San Francisco, Oakland gets an A+ for friendliness, cleanliness and space. Overlooks a major interchange (880) but even the highway side was not overly noisy. Access from Lewelling Blvd was a bit of a puzzle. Many restaurants and stores nearby. Small exercise room with treadmills and a few weights (accessible all hours) next to small indoor pool. Optional breakfast buffet available but not widely used. Cashless front desk. Maid service normally every other day. Highway traffic is consistently heavy. Very pleasant stay.

The friendly helpful staff - Melissa at reception and the breakfast dining staff - made our stay unexpectedly enjoyable and happy. The hot buffet breakfast (available for a fee but Melissa kindly gave us a voucher) was just what we needed to start the day. Room 427 was comfortable, spacious, quiet and well-furnished. There were refillable toiletries, microwave, mini-fridge, a good Direct TV setup, good seating with desk chair and upholstered chair, an upholstered bench helpful for our travel cases, an open closet with steel basket storage drawers. The room was stylishly functional. We thought the nearby freeway would be a noisy distraction but it was not a problem at all. The room lighting was a bit dim as well as the bedside reading lights and the artwork on the walls was not to our taste. But other than these minor quibbles, this hotel is a surprisingly good one that we will use again when in the area and highly recommend to others seeking a stay in this region.

The walls also seemed quite thin, so I could hear people in neighboring rooms and hallway activity. As a light sleeper, I didn’t get much—if any—sleep that first night, which made for a rough start to my trip. On the bright side, the hotel staff were very understanding and accommodating when I brought up the issue. They quickly helped me move to a quieter room on the other side of the building for the remainder of my stay. The new room was much better in terms of noise, and I appreciated the prompt assistance. Overall, the hotel has potential—clean rooms, courteous staff, and a convenient location—but I would strongly recommend requesting a room away from the freeway when booking. With better soundproofing, this could have been a much more comfortable stay.

Upon checking I was told there was a continental breakfast for free. Next morning my wife and I got a bowl of cereal and a banana and coffee and they charged me 35.50 and would not adjust. Full breakfast was 42! Not happy….

When we arrived, we found out the bar and restaurant were actually closed indefinitely, with zero mention of that anywhere in the listing. Even worse, the signs were still up at the hotel advertising the bar and grill. It felt very misleading. The room also wasn’t clean. We had to clean it ourselves since we were rushing to get to the game. We let the front desk know and they said they’d note it, but nothing was resolved. The listing is outdated and needs to be updated. For the price we paid, this was a huge letdown.

Hotel is literally across the freeway ramp and is very noisy all the time. Be sure to ask for room at the back side of the property.

Only complaint is that is to hot abd the air conditioning makes way to much noise, also water pressure sucks get bigger shower heads

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. When you requested necessities for your stay, they always provided them with a smile. The place was secured; they locked the doors at around 10 p.m. If you were late and you stayed there, the courtesy person would let you in.

Sure we don’t have family time because they don’t have orden pool people drinking alcohol

They have slow flushing toilets, I had to call 2am for a plunger I was never given any compensation for the inconvenience.

She was so helpful with everything. she was super nice and just had great energy. the rest of the staff were super nice and our stay was amazing! Our room was nice, clean and my sister and i felt safe here. i would definitely recommend staying here we will definitely be booking to stay here in the future.

Staff was super-friendly! Beds are comfy, AC works great (but LOUD), and the blackout shades are appreciated. However, the water pressure in the shower was TERRIBLE. Like, don’t even bother trying to wash your hair. Conversely, water shot out of the bathroom sink faucet like a fire hose (no aerator?). If only they could swap!

It was a wick overnight stay before an early flight out of Oakland International AirPort.

Shower head clogged. The toilet loose felt like it was going to drop through the floor into the unit below.

The staff was excellent very nice and accommodating.. the only problem I had was the fact that the restaurant and bar were closed all weekend except for breakfast . Which was 18$I think that is an excessive price for breakfast..

I had a generally positive experience at the hotel. The staff was friendly, the facility was clean, and the beds were comfortable. They offered a buffet breakfast for an additional fee and had other breakfast options available. However, there was limited parking due to renovation, and the bar was closed during my stay. Additionally, we encountered an issue with the TV signal in one of the rooms. But overall it was ok.

Overcharged my credit card for buffet breakfast.

First stay in a long time. Facility is in great shape and I will consider it again

I did not recieve my king bed they gave my two queen beds. I needed more space I was traveling for buisness and was so tired.

There was no tv for the whole and everyone good a voucher for breakfast and when I ask for the counter person Michelle said she will sent me in my email the breakfast and dinner voucher but haven’t got anything yet

The room looks decent, its modern, high ceiling, and clean. Staff in the restaurant are very nice too.

The hotel served our purposes for a quick family visit. It has very close freeway access, however, the streets in the area are a little odd, which has less to do with the property itself than the neighborhood.

House keeping and the staff in the dining hall are great.. everyone was polite and friendly.. excellent service
